Leucite

Leucite nodded. Stibnite's assessment was fairly spot on. It seemed like the lion's share of their people are out, he watched her for a moment before nodding. "Let's get going then."

First in, last out - it was funny but that's how he viewed his work. Rising from his spot by the train he moved quickly toward the exit, motioning Stib to follow.

With any luck they'd be able to get the hell out of dodge.

Sabine

It was probably more luck than anything else that the motion of Phact's hand caught Sabine's eye. She'd been busy trying to avoid the two making moon eyes at each other and had instead been watching for her cousin. So far she hadn't seen him so she hoped he was okay.

When Phact motioned her over she tried to smother the envy and moved over quickly, looking at the two for the moment. Hopefully the other Super would come with the,

"I still need to find my cousin Phact..." Sabine said - trying HARD to not let panic creep into her voice. "He was here and I can't see him..." She bit her lip. "If I could just lay eyes on him I'd feel better about it... But maybe he's outside already... I guess we can head out - power down and I can text him then..."

Don't glare at Havasu just cause he's being sweet with Phact - it's not his fault you're 14 and nobody takes you seriously...

"T-thank you for coming to get us..." She finally managed to sputter out at Havasu. She looked over at the blind senshi and walked over to her again. "Would you like to join us?"

"Oh no?" She piped up curiously as Harmonia mentioned patrolling alone. Polaris couldn't really blame the other girl, she herself was notorious for patrolling alone too even though she'd harp on every newer senshi not to do it. It was dangerous, especially when you didn't have a power that was equally dangerous. "Maybe we can patrol together some night." She offered with a smile. After they were all cleaned up of course and healed. Polaris wasn't sure if the other girl had been injured but Polaris was going to have some bruises and aches at the very least.

When the word 'princess' sounded the eternal senshi laughed a little, rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly. "Yeah, there aren't a whole lot of us running around anymore..."

She recalled how some of the newest senshi sometime react to her with awe.. like she was special or something. And maybe in some small way she was but... "We're not all the different from any other senshi. Just been around a little longer. Have a few extra tricks up our sleeves thanks to our homeworlds."

Devilline scowled but let the Captain shove him through the door with little urge to argue. The brunette did have to roll his eyes though at the display of Mont Blonc in "Ploutonion" 's arms. But once again he decided to say nothing on the subject. However, the second that Ashanite has placed the squire on his feet, Devilline grabbed his arm to tug him close for a moment with little care if Mont Blonc protested. "If that damn Captain bitches at us one more time, I'm shoving my weapon down his throat and I don't care what repercussions I face because of it." He warned. Devilline then released Ashanite's arm, only to grab Mont Blonc's and drag him off a few feet.

"Shut up and listen to me a sec before you start shrieking at me that I need to stay away from him. I'm going to level with you a second. You need to ******** leave. If you think we had anything to do with that, I can assure you that it was not run by Ashanite or myself. I get you're friends with him and I can respect that but if you keep tagging along by following after him the most you're going to accomplish is getting him in trouble and who the ******** only knows what could happen to you. If you guys really are friends, I'm pretty sure harm is the last thing he wants to see be fall you." The dude had just ordered someone to heal Mont Blonc. "And whatever the ******** happened to take Ashanite away from you, I can freaking promise you I wasn't freaking part of it. Please, you need to leave. I know you wanna try and save him but this is not the place for it and you know it. I'll do what I can to keep him outta trouble but that doesn't apply to you." For some very obvious reasons. "You know he would tell you the same thing. You know that... Seriously, I'm just trying to help." Devilline wasn't sure what else to say, so he released Mont's arm.

Harmonia smiled at Polaris's offer to patrol together some night. "That would be great!" She was feeling uneasy anymore out on her patrols but it wasn't something she was willingly going to tell anyone. Not right now anyway. She felt somewhat silly about her fear but at the same time...well...she'd deal with it on her own.

"And have quite the power boost." She jested and winked in good naturely fun. "I am really glad I was able to help though. I really don't get to use my magic all that often."

Her eyes roamed a bit behind Polaris and stopped at a clock that had managed to keep it's place on the wall despite the gore and gunk splattered on it. For a moment Harmonia thought that ht mechanics might have been ruined and that the clock was stuck. A quick squint and her eyes flew open. "Oh no. Oh my parents are going to be really upset with me."

She looked at Polaris apologetically. "I've got to go. My parents are probably really worried considering I was suppose to be home a while ago." She glanced towards the trains again to assure herself that no one needed any help. "Thank you so much Polaris. Hopefully I'll see you again sometime soon!" Harmonia smiled and gave a wave before hurrying off towards the exit, doing her best not to slip on the horrible mess that covered the platform.

Megrez and Sadachbia had split off to do their own thing, leaving Cor Caroli bumbling around looking for Glitnir. After some running around and just barely missing Glitnir several times and generally not being heard over the commotion, he grabbed the Squire by the shoulder. "Finally found you! Are you all right?"

"Cor? What are you doing here?" Glitnir was running out of civilians to find and pull out, or at least ones that were still alive.

"Waiting for you," Cor said. "I think there's a break in the crowd and we can get out! Let's go!"

"But what about- fine." There really was no time; that break could seal up quickly and it seemed like people were starting to get out. Glitnir took the lead, making a steady pace for the exits.

Cor Caroli was all geared up to go, but then he caught a flash of something blue out of the corner of his eye. He stopped, looked in that direction, and what he saw sent shudders through his body.

That was Ploutonion, wasn't it? It had to be. That hair was unmistakable. He wanted to run over there so badly, to be there and hold him and touch him and get explanations out of him. But there was also a General and a Captain over there, and after what had happened earlier, he was not risking another starseed grab from which he most likely would be unable to come back from. The yearning was so strong though, he wanted to be over there so badly...

"What are you doing?"

Glitnir's voice shattered Cor Caroli's reverie. "Um, nothing. Let's get out of here."

Though he didn't comment on it, Glitnir could tell that Cor Caroli was lying about something from the way he slowed after that. He had seen something, and it was clearly weighing heavily on him. It seemed there would be a discussion later.

Working together, Megrez and Sadachbia had managed to get a few people off the train, but the flow was clearly stopping up, and people were slowly trickling out. "Think that's all of them?" Sadachbia asked.

"All of them that are still alive and not being handled by others," Megrez said.

Discomfort crossed Sadachbia's face. She did not like the idea that people had actually died here, though it wouldn't be the first time she had encountered such a thing while powered. "O-kay. Where do you think Cor went?"

"I think I saw him and Glitnir leaving? That's probably a cue for us to do the same." Megrez took one look at the train's remains, then another at the exits. "Let's go."

The two senshi cautiously made their way out of the station from there, hoping that the situation was truly at an end.

When Snowball was finished making sure every one was off the train he moved to his senshi. Still in his human form. Barefeet already burned by the train's digestion, he stepped gingerly on the platform and looked towards his Princess.

"I believe we should go as well, I'll have to find the new senshi I awakened later and assure she's up to par. Perhaps you can come with me as well." He stretched a bit, his head still pounding, "UGH I can't decide if I want a bath or if I need to sleep off this headache."

He had been watching everyone leave, "After all, I believe I hear sirens." He wanted to get the starseeds back but this was not the time nor place. He shrunk back down to his kitty self and winced, "Nope, that made it worse I think." He should've waited till they were clear of some of the gunk.

Everyone around them was filtering out in a steady, hurried pace and Chara could only dream of going that fast. Every step taken was with a prayer that he wouldn't misstep on a pile of go or a hand.. or some other miscellaneous body part. Or a live body.. or A DEAD body. He held her hand every step, until he came up behind a large thick pillar that could easily hide him from view.

"I hear sirens.. So I don't have to help, yeah.. Uh.. This is a good place to power down.. Right? Yeah, right here.. It should.. should be just fine.." Something prodded at the back of his head. Don't sleep. Don't sleep right now, you dickhead... And also, you're wearing skates, sit your a** down. He muttered a soft 'yeah okay..' to himself, then pressed his back up against it, sliding down to the ground. From there, in a small whirl of chocolate scented wind revealed a far cleaner version of the boy. Clean from the neck down, anyway. that was one good thing about being so frilly and covered, he was pretty good at staying clean. Hell, from behind no body could probably even tell he was so jacked up. If he had been standing when he powered down he'd be flat on his a** from these skates getting stuck in the goop.

"I think you're good too.. You can power down. Yes? Then you can go home. You're okay, right? You don't need any help? I can wait right here until the medics come." And probably nap too. A nap sounded amazing.

Varying states of undress surprised the captain very little when he considered the fight they recently surmounted. The whole platform stank of warm viscera that had not yet begun to rot. While Umber himself was accustomed to the stench, he wagered that others weren't so lucky in their upbringings. Ashanite seemed relatively unperturbed of it, though, and came bearing a squire that Umber found quite familiar.

Yes, I remember you, he thought as pale eyes found the boy's face. I remember decommissioning you to get to Sandrine. He wondered just how the man managed an upgrade, but now wasn't the time to inquire about the technicalities of knights earning power.

His gaze then settled on Ashanite, with cold fury apparent in his stony countenance. Ashanite not only had the gall to avoid starseeding the Squire when he met with a perfect opportunity for it, but the man carried this knight wholesale off the train. Had he truly maintained so much loyalty to their enemy that he would risk his neck to recover the very people he was urged to destroy? Unless Ashanite intended to corrupt the boy, which he doubted greatly from the sudden release of him, this was grounds for further punishment and consideration for the remainder of Umber's mission. Perhaps he would discover a 'cure' for such idiocy that could be applied to more than just Ochre. And if he did, he greatly considered Ashanite as his second project.

"Now isn't the time to ask. Are there any officers still on the cars? They're breaking down-" He started, then halted immediately as one of the cars collapsed in on itself. The crumpled wreckage sat deep near the bottom of the tracks, whereas the other maintained its form by balance alone. Another captain left the train and offered his own quick assessment. Umber found himself biting back a comment about the bodies mentioned.

Turning toward the remaining cars, Umber started forward and directly into Mont Blonc's path. "Move," he issued curtly, and placed a palm against the Squire's chest to shove him out of the way toward the tracks themselves. He spared no second glance to determine if the assaulted still stood on the platform. Instead, the aching captain peered into the remaining two cars to determine what could be salvaged - and it wasn't much. Mostly he found prone bodies, or victims that he felt no inclination to risk his own neck for. Finally he returned to Xenotime and addressed her with abating frigidity.

"Xenotime, will you take us out of here? The three of us need to discuss what happened." He offered clear gesticulations to indicate himself, the growing traitor Ashanite, and Xenotime.

Just as he reached the office, the youma train loosed a last burst that knocked him straight inside and onto the floor. There he lay for several minutes, adrift in his own dazed recovery, before the last groaning sounds of machinery under distress confirmed that the train might've met its end. He dared not to look - instead, the page slowly pulled himself upright and immediately felt the full-body ache that suggested he wouldn't be walking the next morning. Holding his forehead where he struck the ground, Scholomance used one of the viscera-laden computer desks to pull himself upright.

Surely enough, as he glanced back toward the platform, no further signs of the youma train remained. Instead, people were disembarking when they could or found themselves carried out. The civilians crowding the exits finally sorted their panic enough to proceed outside in an orderly manner. Others who knew each other in this mess rejoined those they knew to lick wounds and collect themselves. Scholomance had no such alliances here - and thus felt no compulsion to stick around and play good samaritan with his own damage survey.

Instead, the page slunk back toward the turnstiles where he might be able to find his own way back home - provided his legs held out for that long.

He wasn't optimistic about it.

Silver eyes fell on Ashanite immediately upon his emergence from what was left of the train car, and an incredibly interested look crossed cool features as she watched quietly as he wandered towards herself and Umber, an unknown squire held almost tenderly in his arms. It was a curious thing to see, and as the other captain released the squire, Xenotime turned her attention to the Saturn squire he as carrying. Dedicating the man's features and attire to memory, because this delightful little scene was not likely to simply go away. That squire clearly meant something to Ashanite, and not only did Xenotime see it, but Umber as well.

Here and now, she didn't say anything in regards to the squire or how he pleaded with his former friend. Merely watched, a cool, considering little smile touching dark lips before her attention was being demanded elsewhere. Umber could answer the captain's question about Brimstone better than she could.

Not that she felt she had the patience at the moment to properly deal with Typhon, whom was lingering with them, despite the order to leave. It wasn't his offer to stick around to help that had her fingers curling into fists at her sides, but what came after. She turned, slowly, to peg the corrupted super with a dangerous curl of lips and narrowed eyes. "Your assistance is no longer needed here." There was a very real temptation to strike him again, but she restrained herself. He could be dealt with later. "Go back to your apartment, I'll find you later."

She could hear voiced behind her, but it was the sound of the train car collapsing that brought her back around in time to eye the wreckage warily. She hoped none of their own had been on that still, but honestly, of the ones she knew to have been on this mission, those she cared anything about were already accounted for.

An amused look followed Umber's reaction to the squire as she shoved the other man out of the way so he could inspect the cars a little more closely. Pale eyes trailed after him before sliding back to the remaining officers(one of whom she didn't recognize), and the squire. "Ploutonion, please," she cooed sweetly, taking a step toward Ashanite so she could reach up to stroke the young captain's cheek, gaze all for Mont Blanc over his shoulder. Slender fingers moved to sweep a dark fall of hair behind his ear, drawing the heavy weight of his braid over his shoulder, twisting it slowly around his wrist.

Umber's request was followed by a sudden grin, and she closed her hand around the braid like a vice. "Time to go, sweetheart. Say goodbye to your friends." Another sugary look to the squire, a nod to the lieutenant, then she was pulling Ashanite away from them and laying a hand on her captain's arm as he returned to them.

The next second the three of them were gone.

Typhon just about shat himself at the bluntness from Xenotime's order. On one hand, he wasn't one to follow orders. On the other hand, she just told him to go back to his apartment and wait for her there. How did she know where she lived ********, was she still holding onto his old apartment? After being gone for two years, the dumbass Dustin was never even thought to return there. He just figured that had long been sold out to some other punk who needed a place to stay.

Feeling like an idiot, and remembering he had a whole lot of weed at his old place, he hurried back to pick up his belongings, totally forgetting about the threat of punishment that would be waiting for him when he does.

Cinnabar watched with an impassive eye as the occupants of the train disembarked. They were a motley group, mixed officers and white moon, but it seemed none of their people were particularly hurt. Time to effect the retreat, now that they'd gotten what they came here for. At least the enemy seemed unaware of what they'd been doing, or simply ambivalent about the starseeds secreted in pockets and bags. Might as well take advantage of the lull.

As their comrades began to disappear, Cinnabar left the door way to stride long-legged across the platform to where Amphitrite stood. The half youma hooked an arm companionably around her neck before leaning into her ear.

"Fruitful mission, Pretty? How about a ride out, hmm?" She purred, before a flicker of energy pulled them both out of the train station and way to safety.

Ashanite met Umber's gaze with a raised eyebrow, as if challenging the other Captain to ask him about Mont Blonc.

"There were no other officers on the car when I left," he said, and his tone was even and completely devoid of any particular emotion either way. He glanced back at the cars, just in time to see them crumble to dust - a familiar sight. The "death" of a youma always happened the same way, and he had certainly seen plenty as Ploutonion.

He opened his mouth to say something to Mont Blonc, to urge him to leave, to tell him this wasn't the damn time - and really there were officers everywhere, even if he had wanted to go this was the worst possible time to discuss it. And he wanted, very much, to grab Devilline and leave with him, because he was fairly certain he could talk the Lieutenant into bed. After the day he'd had, that sounded pretty damn good. But Xenotime - bless her, she couldn't have helped him sell his act more if she'd been aware of what she was doing - intervened.

And all he had to do was flinch under her blatantly possessive touch, to play up entirely faked discomfort, and shake his head a little to get the message entirely across to Mont Blonc. He couldn't leave.

And then they were gone.

Things happened quickly, there at the end. Eros stood in confusion and fear in the middle of the heaving guts of some monster and felt it shake under her feet, her hands clenched into fists she held tight to her chest. Convinced she was hallucinating the whole thing, there was little she felt like she could do beyond ride it out and hope nothing bad happened to her. It was, honestly, one of the scariest trips she’d ever had and damn if she wouldn’t be giving Jason a piece of her mind for what he’d sold her, later. Once the world righted itself and the monsters returned to being only in her imagination.

The train seemed to be slowing and it’s whistle blew loudly, making the young woman jump. Her heart beat hard as she considered what it meant that the cars had disconnected while this one remained moving… on a closed track. Or what she assumed was a closed track but could be the way to Narnia for all she knew.

Its not real… its not real… ITS NOT REAL… She shouted in her head as she squeezed her eyes shut and braced herself before the train jerked and knocked her off her feet, sending her splashing down into the intestinal muck that made up the floor. Eros groaned as the whole thing shuddered to a halt and she pushed to scramble to her feet. Slowly everything began to crumble away and what passed for normal train material reasserted itself. Ash drifted down around her as she scrubbed her hands on her shorts and looked for the door off this hell ride, wanting nothing more than to escape it all. She wanted to go home… ******** working tonight. The club owner would never let her back, but there were other clubs she could find work at. It would all figure itself out and the important thing right now was making it home in one piece.

As the twisted doors opened and people began to climb out of the wreckage, Eros was among them, using her slender frame and clever application of elbows to make her way onto the platform. Even here the halucinations persisted, with a thick, disgusting sludge covering the cement and people in strange outfits loitering about like this was some sort of show. Some of them gave her the creeps and the short woman slipped quickly past them, making for the loud and angry crowd that blocked the exits.

It was a struggle, but Eros forced her way through the press, taking a few knocks as she went, and managed to finally break into clear space on the otherside, after sliding under the turnstiles that were hemming in the crowd. Once freed, the senshi took off running, clinging close to the walls of buildings as she went, all the while praying she wasn't going to step out into traffic without realizing it.

Eros out!
