Noemi followed after Kostya with a sad look, but it brightened a little as she saw Riley.

"Are you feeling calmer Miss Riley?" She had no idea what Kostya was talking about okay.

She had calmed down, but that made his presence no less tense-inducing. She thought she'd found a moment of peace, just to see the world fall out from under them. She'd almost gone with it, but quick footing had kept her out of harms way. Or at least, out of that harm, and into his fire.

"Fancies?" Riley looked from Kostya, to the returning Noemi, her face flooded in absolute confusion. "What have I missed? Is she hoping we'll get along?" Was Noemi proving to Kostya how worthy it was to keep hope in the heart? Riley felt a little optimistic for that possibility.

My character's name: Riley Illithadian
Character's journal link: ok
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Tall, slender, graceful, and entirely obsessed with purity; Riley was raised from birth as a priestess of the light, and continues to follow the values and practices of her stringent sisterhood. She is always prepared with a ritual or a prayer to help purify anything necessary, especially the air and water surrounding them, or the earth beneath their feet. She does not like being touched, or looked at for very long, nor will she meet the gaze of a passerby for longer than is absolutely necessary. She is meek, humble, and completely unprepared for what lies ahead of her.
Physical Description: CLICK HERE She wears an unadorned white medieval dress, and a belt of large, extremely heavy prayer beads as a constant burden to remind her of her duty. Her face is partially covered by a modesty veil, which hangs at the lower half of her face. Her eyes are grey, and her hair is black, with only the top layer matted into tight dreadlocks using beeswax - these are carefully wrapped and braided with purple and white ribbons. See this picture for an example of this hairstyle. Intricate filigree of some metal slips in and out of the top of her hair, weaving upward into delicate designs created with special religious significance in mind.

[ENTER: Eva]

She did not like this. She did not like this at all. Eva had followed Percival with the rest of the knights, but being exhausted from breaking the drawbridge already along with her already below average physique, she lagged at the end of the group. By the time she had arrived in the treasure room and caught her breath again, the chaos had already begun. Apparently under Morgan's suggestion, several knights had moved the mirror to the gate, and the three Great Knights were arguing and then there were more knights. She winced. She did not like this kind of conflict. Then there had been that loud crack, and Eva could see far, on the other side of the room, something was happening. She did not go over to check however. It gave her a sinking feeling. She did not want to look.

Instead, she turned her attention to the more solvable, if not more immediate, problem. This could turn very bad. Morgan seemed to be doing things that weren't safe. Not that there was anything entirely safe, but there seemed to be something very wrong going on with the mirror. Eva was not sure if that was what was supposed to happen. In the back of her mind, she also wondered where the Great King with and the other Great Knights. They had seen Lancelot who had taken over the defense, but the Great King was still a mystery. What was he doing during all this chaos? Where was he? Now would be the best time for him to step in and solve this. At the same time however, Eva felt that even if the Great King were here, the three knights would still be arguing to some extent and the dangers would loom closer.

She was frowning. What could she do in this situation? There was no way she was even getting close to that mirror, and she did agree with Percival. Thus, it seemed that she would have to see what she could do with Morgan. Yes, that seemed like the best path for her to be useful. She glanced nervously back at the mirror walking towards the group fighting around Morgan.

[Enter Tyshina]

As Tyshina entered the room she realized she had gotten there a bit late. She had been caught up on a quest for her gauntlet of the wolves. While her quest wasn't complete yet, she wouldn't have traded that adventure for anything.

Though now she was here and she looked around and noticed all of knights and leaders. She also noticed that they were in what she believed was called the treasure room. The problem she saw is it seemed no one knew what they exactly wanted. So how could they call this a treasure room? It was more like a room of fighting. Fighting like what should be done on a battlefield not between friends.

Here she thought they were all in this together, but now it just seemed like they all had different plans. One wished to preserve, one wished to rule, and one just thought of the gate.

Where was the ruler she had heard of when they needed them, or just someone to bring order to them as a whole. Though she knew now that she must chose a path. She had to find the one she believed in most. The one that she thought could help win this battle, against the evil they all faced.
That task was much harder than she ever expected since how did she really know that what she would chose would be right. That was just it she had no idea. She thought as she stared around the room. Each way had its own ending and that much she knew.

The only words she truly took to heart were those of Morgan "I will not let you bring the downfall of Camelot. In the Great King's absence, it is our duty to rule it." As soon as she heard those words she knew who she would follow since those words alone set fire to her heart.

Now the hardest part was figuring which one she didn’t follow. The one that angered her heart and it didn’t take long before she heard Gawain’s words… “and who says one has to respect an absent king?”

While the king was absent that didn’t mean he wasn’t still king and there had to have been a reason why he just left. After all they all followed him prior what was the huge change. If they believed in him once then they must still believe.

So finally there she had it the one she would follow and the one she would fight against. With that she headed to the area to fight against the one she thought could bring more ruin than good to the land they called home.

That blush was the most beautiful sight in recorded history, according to Robert. Her words cast a similar color against his own cheeks, one which he regretted instantly because it embarrassed him to react in the same way a lady had. "Well, that - I mean, we did speak on the subject, though I daresay the act itself has not occurred. Yet. Unless you've changed your mind. That is to say, we can discuss it at your leisure, perhaps when the world is not ending around us." Though it sort of looked like he wanted to discuss it there and then.

He took her hand, and clutched it carefully within his, intertwining their fingers. It was easy to forget the world then. But not completely possible. He looked up at the sound of a scream, and the clanging of swords against armor.

"Aye, this is no place to discuss a proper marriage. Such a blessed occassion deserves better." But he had no answers past that, because he couldn't decided where to go, or who to go for answers. He could only be sure of one thing - he was not letting go of her hand.

Character's journal link: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=24688713
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER The thud you are now hearing is the sound of ladies around the world swooning, and Sir Robert is not sorry. With a broad chest and muscular arms, he embodies strength and power, enough to wield his massive greatsword, [ THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER ]. It's his duty to seek the greatest of glory, even if he has to save every single damsel in distress all at once with his hand tied behind his back and his eyes closed. He'll do it, you know. He totally will.
Physical Description: Sir Robert is draped in glistening knightly battle gear, covered by a silk robe that looks way too expensive for actual fighting, but that's fine - he dramatically rips it off before a fight anyway. This is immediately followed by a slow motion whip of his lustrous man of gold hair, that always seems to be blowing charmingly in the wind that doesn't necessarily exist.

Even indoors.

Heavens above, what had she done.

Mildred took a deep breath and nodded very slowly, wishing that holding that air in her lungs might allow her the ability to momentarily halt time as she came to terms with what she'd said. It did not, of course, and the coughing exhale that resulted was not particularly attractive.

Upon recovering from that mishap, she reached to place her free hand on his cheek, her look one of serious sincerity.

"The world will always be ending around us." Especially if they were the catalyst. She faintly smiled. "It may seem that the end is more inevitable in some moments than others. The approach of the end may appear to come more rapidly, or more slowly, or have no apparent imminence at all. It is a matter of perspective, and in this instance, I do not see an ending."

If the three bickering Knights all fell, there would be four remaining. Four and one King. And a darkness as significant as one they warned of, a darkness as all-consuming as the shadow that had just tried to breach Camelot's walls, could surely handle such an insignificant number.

"I see a beginning." The smile that spread across her face was directed at their intertwined fingers, though her thoughts still wandered. "If beginnings are ill-suited for such a discussion, when and where might you find a more preferential option? Are you quite certain that you are not simply delaying my right to share our claims and spoils of victory?"

Camilla had just returned to the courtyard to continue fighting after putting on her beautiful new Tabard on when the giant snake before reared up and was slain as Morgan broke free she was happy to see he was alright but things did not seem fine as he raced off inside both concerned and curious Camilla quickly follows after him

Deeper and deeper they went until the architecture was no longer like the castle above and soon they came to a ruined door she waited until Morgan passed through to follow suit and what she saw inside made her gasp in both surprise and awe! There was gold and treasure everywhere! They had ventured to the treasury it seemed but soon enough it wasn't the treasure that held Camilla's attention but a doorless gateway... There was just something about it... While she stared at the door she failed to notice first Percival arriving then Gawain their tense words and the atmosphere which grew from them snapped Camilla out of her staring

She frowns as the tension grows stronger and stronger between the three Great Knights until finally it erupted into chaos! "Eep!" She squeaks in surprise as the Great Knights began fighting each other! Why were they fighting!?! That wouldn't solve anything! They needed to work together! Soon it only got worse as other Knights began attacking the Great Knights! Camilla soon found herself conflicted and confused each Great Knight had a good point! Percival wanted to protect the gate and wait for the king, Morgan wanted to use the mirror to turn the gate into a trap, and Gawain wanted to just destroy it! Each Knight had good reasons behind this too! If they destroyed what they might not understand they'd lose a possibly game changing chance! But they couldn't just rest on their laurals forever they needed to do something constructive now! However if what they did backfired they'd all be in danger!

Camilla was trying to decide which knight to follow and which to possibly attack and because of this she didn't notice the mirror being move or attacked until it was too late! The mirror was moved into place and she gasps as the gate and mirror fuse together! Well now there was no chance to destroy either one so both Percival and Gawain were out of luck yet still they might try something... Finally she made up her mind she would attack Percival! Sitting around waiting for a king which might not return was silly! And in the mean time the enemy could be attacking them! As obnoxious as she found Gawain he was a useful healer and Morgan seemed to have the right idea to her so Percival was the odd knight out!

Cadence was proud of herself and her group when the bridge finally collapsed under the weight of all the items they had thrown on top of it. She had not been too worried when Percival and Lancelot went off to talk but when Gawain showed up shortly after looking for them she began to wonder if something had gone wrong. The anger on Percival's face as he approached and latter spoke confirmed her suspicion. Quickly hurrying after the blue knight she wished she knew more about what was happening other than Morgan had done something foolish.

The room that they had finally made it to after going through a long series of dark passages and a winding set of stairs was filled with glittering treasures. The room might have impressed cadence if she wasn’t so worried about what was happening. The great knights the leaders that they all looked too started to argue with each other over some sort of gate thing. She wasn’t exactly sure what the sidhe were but they must be bad if they caused the knights to clash like this. The arguing over the gate was rather confusing but it sounded like the gate had something to do with a mirror and it could possibly seal the sidhe? But there was also a chance of creating an army of them in Camelot.

Which one of them was right? Was it better to use the mirror? To destroy it? Or was it best to leave it alone? Cadence was aghast when Gawain suggested it was unnecessary to follow the king because he wasn’t there. She stood there stunned watching as the three great knights started to fight each other and as the other apprentice knights also started to fight. They should be united in what they do, how could they hope to protect Camelot if they were fighting each other, how could they fight off the enemy if everyone was injured from fighting other knights? How could she prevent the gate from being moved or destroyed without actually fighting against those who were moving or attacking it? She was unable to make up her mind of what to do in time however. By the time she had decided to protect the gate it had already been moved. There was a loud crack and cadence watched entranced as the mirror sank into the floor.

(Too late)

Her hands were still stained with blood from all the healing she had been doing, but since the injuries had slowed down she had managed to follow the way the great knights had moved.

She had heard the end of the argument but had not been able to do anything with all the movement around, and so in the end had not been able to be of much help. Her faith had been with Gawain, to break the mirror had been the best choice but she hadn't been able to do any good, it was far too late and it was now secure.

Shaking her head she merely watched as everyone else moved about, sure in their actions, she on the other hand was not, she didn't want to attack any of the great Knights, to do so was against any vow she had taken to protect Camelot, after all they were the protectors.

In the end all she could do was watch as the bridge collapsed, and others fell, thinking that it would be best to help anyone that had fallen with it and perhaps been injured. She looked down at the others below and decided that the best action would be to head down there. If she was to be any good that would be the place she would be able to work for the best. She was not going to attack any Knight, that was for sure.

Ugh choices were terrible and she was not sure what to do, fighting was happening and she was not sure how to keep moving with all the action taking place. One thing she could not understand was how apprentice knights were fighting each other. Why would they do that? She gazed down at the hole below her, dawning coming on. They had no idea what to do either and were just reacting to the anger around them. This was still all the fault of the darned horsemen. Hissing between her teeth the green clad girl shook her head. Why wasn't there someone here that could just calm everyone down? The mirror and gate had been moved, the fighting should have stopped.

Sighing she started to move down, climbing down the path made by the shattered bridge, still glancing up at the fighting above her, wishing there was more she could do. Poor people, even when they were supposed to be all on the same side they ended up blinded by hatered.

Huang Lan Yu

[Entering]

It was when someone tossed something onto the bridge, suddenly with a crack like when someone slammed a heavy door, the drawbridge broke. Chickens flew away as the party dismissed, her job there was done. Yu curved up a small accomplished smile. It would be effective to limit the number of shadows remained in the castle for now, at least the wingless types. Then, the said assistance from the northern ramparts arrived. The gold knight apprentice gladly watched as fire arrows rained towards the sky with all the shadows, burning the sky bright. Yu imagined all of them as males and they moaned in pain, she smiled genuinely. As an archer, it always induce the desire to shoot when someone was doing it.

Following Percival, they moved to the courtyard. She stared at the giant snake and perceived there was a hard battle taken place for Morgan and his group. They waited and Percival came back as an angry man, asked them to follow without saying more. Yu found it strange but remained silent. After series of stairs downward, they reached a room with an opened door. Another Great Knight Morgan already arrived, with a group he led, she watched silently as Percival approached him.

Yu frowned as the cat fight of the three Great Knights, men, she snorted again. They were arguing about the Gate and Mirror which seemed to be dangerous. Of course she couldn't deny they were much powerful than her. Knights were diverted to support and do what they think is right. Besides the Great Knights, the knights present in the room began to fight against each other with their different standpoints.

It was chaotic.

Yu held her longbow tightly and pondered what she should do. She put a head over her forehead, couldn't understand why men were so stupid. Given the chance, she would attack every single of them, maybe on their butts to wake them up and shake their senses back.

Sidhe? Gate? Mirror?

She was confused by the keywords she never heard of. One said both are dangerous and shall be destroyed, one said they need to make good use of them to seal the Darkness behind the door while one stopped others from touching the gate and mirror because that's the order for the Great King.

Lurks retreated to the treasure room still near tears, hood drawn down close. It had come down, just for a moment, and Lurks had stopped being Lurks and had become just a girl, sad and afraid and alone. They still weren't sure if they'd made the right call, or if there was any right call at all.

In their focus, the little bundle of rags and armor hadn't noticed that there was a someone in their way, colliding bodily with them, topping down to the ground in the process.

A high cowl or scarf always covers the lower portion of their face, meaning they're a little-bit muffled most of the time. They always carry a small corn husk doll, if only they could remember what it was for...
