Silence. Dugtrio’s prior move had landed its hit, there had been no errors, no miscalculations. In front of her Pokemon was a fainted Raichu. The final evolution of Pikachu but more importantly, it was the last Pokemon of Lt. Surge. The battle did last longer than she anticipated but it was all worth it to see the Gym Leader give the girl her reward. With Dugtrio returning back into its ball the girl and Gym Leader met halfway. The girl’s face was absolutely brimming with happiness as the Gym Leader issued her the rewards. A beautifully colored badge, a voucher for a Good Rod, experience for her Pokemon, the ™ Thunder, and the HM Fly. There were so many goodies in front of her eyes that she would be unable to withhold her excitement once she was out those doors. Thanking the Gym Leader Misa made her way back out of the Gym in one piece.

With the Gym Battle over Misa was overwhelming happy. Though she had to make sure that the Pokemon were all healed up. The best place to go was the Pokemon Center. Thus, while heading over to her destination she could hear whispers among the people. “Hey! Did you hear? At the Pokemon Center you can trade Pokemon with people from anywhere! I mean ANYWHERE! Any region, any place, at different times! I don’t know about you but that is the life for me!” The conversation perked her ears since the girl was already off to the center. She had thought about the Pokemon on her team, Graveler to be more precise. The Pokemon could only be evolved through the means of a trade. If she could take the chance to trade her Graveler while training the others it would be a good means of spending her time. With her resolve the girl marched straight into the Pokemon Center, healed up her team, and began the process of setting Graveler up for a trade. She made note that she wanted her Pokemon back once it evolved into a Golem. With all things set and ready to go, Misa waited for a trade to begin. {4/10=Sunstone}

The trade was as quick as a Magikarp flicking its fins. Graveler was sent straight on over to the Trainer in Kalos while their Kadabra was sent straight to her. The evolution appeared right in front of her eyes. A Kadabra that she had never ever had was now evolving. However, the girl took notice that her Graveler was returning back to her. There was no way she wouldn’t do the same for the sender of this wonderful Kadabra. Stopping its evolutions Misa made sure to give it right back to the Trainer. Perhaps one day she could also attain an Alakazam and maybe there would be a day where the girl would actually meet this stranger. Would this stranger accept another of these trades of trades? Graveler was immediately sent out of its ball, the girl wanted to see its evolution up close. It would be her first time since any of her Pokemon evolved through a trade. There were very few Pokemon that evolved through this method which meant that this wasn’t the last time she would see something like this! Thus the girl watched as Graveler’s four arms meshed together into two bulky ones. Its body grew larger and rounder, its face contorted and their legs grew thicker. When the evolution was complete, she was besides herself when looking at her own Golem. It was absolutely beautiful! Misa swooped in to give the giant creature a hug. This huge Pokemon was hers and hers alone.

With eyes beaming from this evolution the girl returned her new Golem. Even Golem appeared pleased by its appearance and the reaction that Misa had. Overall, the day was going on very well, well enough that she was very much in a cheerful mood. The girl acquired 3 badges already but maybe it was time for a small break? There were Pokemon that needed to be raised and there was no rush to go off to her fourth Gym Battle. The girl wasn’t ready, for one, and then she desired to spend time with her Pokemon. There should have been nothing wrong with that.

Now, a different group of Pokemon had to be raised. The teen would need to raise the Pokemon she had plans on taking on the Grass-type Gym Leader. That involved Pidgeotto, Golbat, and Butterfree. Misa would also train Charmander but she could only choose one of the Nidorans. The smartest decision would be the female Nidoran since it was her strongest of the two. So, with that, she commenced the process. The process would not take as much time as it had probably had been done in the past. Now, although there looked like there would be no items to be found in this city there were Pokemon! There was the Bellsprout and the Drowzee that were in the area. Bellsprout wasn’t a priority since she caught Weepinbell. If the time came to use an Everstone on it then she would. Another alternative would be to use the Black Flute to lure the Bellsprout from its hiding spot. The real prize here was the Drowzee. She may have to use the Black Flute to find the elusive Psychic type pig.

Since her new team was now compromised to take on the Grass Gym she needed to make sure that they would grow properly. The Pokemon in Lavender Town were strong and gave a lot of experience to her Pokemon. It would be a great place for her Pokemon to grow. The only exception here was that there were two Pokemon in her team that weren’t strong enough yet for the area. They would need to be in their 20s before she would even consider bringing them back to the area. Most of her team was ready for the area but there was no rushing training.

Once the gang was all packed up and ready to go, Gavyn and his pokemon left saffron city with his companions. As they left behind the tall buildings, the spectacled male felt a sense of relief. He hadn't realized it that much, but being in such a big, crowded city made him a bit anxious. Only now, on route to Vermillion city, with fields of grass and trees alongside the paths, did Gavyn feel a bit more relaxed. Thyme seemed to have the same reaction to the new surroundings, trotting along gleefully with Asriel on her back.
"So, what is the plan for approaching this next gym leader?" Gavyn eventually spoke up as they reached Vermillion City. Since they couldn't all go and challenge the gym leader at the same time, it'd be nice to know who wanted to go first, or who was ready to go first.

Darren hummed thoughtfully as Sable pointed out that straight hair wasn't as hard to tame as curly hair like Gavyn's. "Yes, I suppose that makes sense." Darren agreed, nodding slowly as Sable stepped away. "Alright, we'll keep an eye out for you." Darren suggested. Although he was curious as to what she was doing, he figured if she wanted to explain, she would do so when she had caught up with them. Vermillion was only just south of Saffron after all, so it was unlikely they would be separated for long. Still, Darren couldn't help but slow down, stalling for time in small ways to allow Sable to easily close the distance when she had finished.
When Gavyn spoke up and addressed the issue of their upcoming gym battle, Darren initially mistook his words for asking their strategy rather than the order in which they should proceed. "I think Hercules can handle this on his own, and if not, Flynn can back him up, right buddy?" Darren suggested, turning to the charmeleon with a smile. "Charrrr...." Flynn gave a lazy growl of reassurance, boasting confidence through his clear lack of concern. "I guess if that's not enough, then..." Darren shrugged. He wasn't really in this for the battles anyways, win or lose, it didn't matter much to him when there was nothing on the line. It only then occurred to Darren what Gavyn meant with his question.
