*Hijil uses Heavy Hitter on Arwa 1 * needs 18+ to hit + 4+7 = MISS
Hijil tried to strike at the beast before it could strike her again, succeeding only in pushing it aside somewhat before it was toppled by the Tendaji beast.
A moment of freedom. A moment where she didn't have to worry so much about the monster.
She looked at Bhima, and smiled.
((And she is open to pure rp for the rest of this round, cake, so... wink ))
*Nuawahn casts WALL on Shalvesta before anybody else can hit her >.> * 1-10 = misses, 11-15 = +1, 16-19 = +2, 20+ = +3 *13+10=23 = +3 to Defense

Just letting you know
Nuawahn knew, even before the whip cracked next to his ear again, what he was supposed to do.
A barrier of magic blossomed before the Oban, a shield of repelling energy that maybe, just maybe, would deflect a blow. Maybe was better than not at all, and not at all was not good.
Nuawahn glanced at his 'supervisor', wary, but the man seemed... not pleased, but not about to bring the stinging tails of the whip on him. A relief, since every lash of that whip brought new pain, and new pain sent tremors through his miserable head...
Vollerei was focusing on the one Arwa... until she heard the approach of a great number of people coming from behind. Rolling out of the way as the Arwa collapsed from all the tracks her people were dealing it, Vollerei barely managed to avoid getting stepped on by the other Arwa she was gong to attack at the same time soldiers closed in. Growling, she turned to face these well armored and more fancily armed foes. The general and her routine or a noble and their routine perhaps? Plus, she noticed on the horizon, banners. They had more approaching! We need to deal with these as fast as possible!
She'd said it. By Aisha, she'd said it. For a moment Bhima's heart stopped. She took Hijil's hand and peered up at the woman, pulling herself to her feet.
She loved her.
Bhima wasn't sure what to say, but the beasts and their trainers were preparing for another attack. They would not get Hijil. They couldn't. They had so much life to live, and together. The both of them had to survive. She offered Hijil a smile and lashed out at the beast that lumbered by bleeding.
SUCCESSFUL dodge (no dmg) SUCCESSFUL retaliation for 4 DAMAGE
The beast came again, this time dripping blood as it threw its head. Nyiim as able to simply stumble aside and fired point-blank into the beast's shoulder. Well, he'd have to look out for the other one, but this one seemed to be going down and fast. Its trainer clearly didn't care that it was falling, and he pushed it on as it died.
These were not a people he wanted to be in charge of all of Tendaji.
Ceyede cleared the way for the charging Arwa, missing its enraged charge. Preparing another arrow, she drew back her bow and took aim:
“Be cautious! Reinforcements are on the horizon. Do not let them take you by surprise!”
The call drew her attention away at the last second, causing her shot to go off course. With luck she managed to catch the beasts thigh, her arrow eventually wobbling loose after the beast fell into its charge and skid across the earth.
Rolled: 2 & 12 Attacking: The General and Her Entourage Hit/Miss 2(+8 )= 10 Damage: 12(+8 )/2= 10 Damage to G&E
Gaddok watched the creatures staggering about the battlefield and couldn't help feel pity for the creatures. He struggled morally with the decision to attack again when:
“Be cautious! Reinforcements are on the horizon. Do not let them take you by surprise!”
Turning his attention away from the creatures Gaddok saw an elite guard charging down the battlefield towing the Oban banner; fighting them is something he could stand behind. Gripping tight to the hilt of his blade he turned to charge the entourage and their general. His blade intertwined with several men before he was locked into battle with one.
He was a gruff burly man with his hair wrapped neatly into a scarf adorned, or rather held together, with a jeweled pin. Gaddok had never scene something so... ridiculous. "Why on earth would someone wear that giant ball of fabric on their head in an arid dry climate? That is what oba is like, right?"
He felt his mind trailing off, when the tang of his blade brought his attention back. Through his time in bed he had found himself passing the time with day dreams, and unfortunately it had become habit as it turns out; a rather dangerous habit to be having in the midst of battle.
deflecting a few of the mans blows, Gaddok locked their blades, and pushed the man back then stabbed forward cutting a deep gash into the man's arm. He hissed at the pain, but kept up his stance, waiting for an opening to strike.
Sawenah watched the chaos of the battle and kind of got swept up in it all, after being knocked off of the yaotl by its tail as it charged across the battlefield after the Arwa she found herself lost again. All this death and suffering, was it really necessary? Did it have to be this way, or was there another solution? A diplomatic solution?
Startled by the groan of the Arwa, Sawenah turned just in time to see the Yaotl slam into the side of the dying creature, and Naria stab her spear deep into the creatures side, and something deep inside her just snapped. Charging into battle she unknowingly summoned a gust of wind that she used to throw herself into the air as she raised her spear to bring down on Naria, "That's Enough!" She screamed as she drove the spear downward, slicing open Naria's thigh and driving the head into the side of the Yaotl.
The Yaotl thrashed and threw Sawenah from her lance still lodged in the creature's body. "Leave it alone; All of you!~" She screamed while coming to the creature's aid.
hope I do this right. 3+6= 9<18 miss Edit: Fixing post because I forgot it was defense +10. Thanks Nil <3
Ignoring his pain and the embarrassment which reminded him of his last battle with the obans he pulled back once more and fired at the beast feeling a horrible sinking feeling in his chest as he shot low and missed the beast. Thankfully he did not harm any of his allies while his errant shot found the soil.
Kelina was beginning to get distracted by her own thoughts of her family, wondering and hoping they were okay. When she noticed the reinforcements and the call of the water woman, she switched her focus to them. But her thoughts weren't on the battle anymore and she wasn't nearly as focused as she was and she swore to herself as her arrows were missing their mark. She felt rejivinated and she turned to a man who had called out to her. "Thank you!"
Fleade looked at the oban and her Tendajian traitor helper with a frown. As soon as the shifter was gone though, she abandoned her attack on the Oban woman who should have known when to quit in favor of a foe worth her time and attention, the General and her entourage. She cut down a few of the entourage on her journey to get to the general.
NOTE: I'm not dodging Arwa 1 because it's dead before I'm posting.. Using Health on BarAmal (19+6)/5= 5 PTS HEALING TO BARAMAL
Finnely had run when the ice woman told her to. She had noticed the woman as the one who had brought back the Oban prisoners and had thought she had to be brave. But it seemed the beast wasn't done with her, it was about to charger her way, but the onslaught of attacks towards it took it down with a thud before it could reach her. She sighed in relief before she saw someone who looked injured. Focusing on him, she cast a healing spell on him. "I hope y-you'll be more careful!" She shouted to him. As she didn't see anybody else near her, she decided to take a minute to calm down and focus once more.
