It had been an exhausting and terrifying day for Seren, after arriving home she she looked over by her family and peppered with question's she had no good answers for, eventually they were just happy she was home in one piece, but for Seren her mind continued to race over the events of the day. Later that night she tried to clear her mind for sleep by looking through her telescope at the star's but the thing that stood out the most was how ominous the moon had become.
When suddenly something new caught her attention a blurry pink mass of stars resembling.... a rose? Appeared before her as she stared at it closely almost hypnotically so......
Seren!!! She was startled by the voice of her grandmother and dropped the telescope on her bed What ever are you looking at so late you've had a.... long day as she sat on the bed next her it appeared for an instant her grand mother was looking at the rose shaped blob but when she turned to look again it was gone.
Blinking she answered Ah just the stars grandma trying to get to sleep today was intense at this she laughed a little. At this her grandma smiled and nodded and moved closer to Seren to brush her hair a bit something she had not done since Seren was a little girl.
Yes it has beenAt this her grandmother placed her cheek on her head and wrapped her arm around her shoulders giving Seren a hug My dear I know your getting older and are such a responsible smart girl, but.... I need to ask you to please be careful, just listen dear She added she she saw Seren begin to speak I know it's random thing to ask but as your Father could tell you I'm protective of my family.....so please promise me?!
Nodding and seeing the look in her eye's Seren agrred and wished a good night as her grandma left the room as she dozed of finally her last thought were of the strange sight she saw in the sky.

Hearing a voice come out of the darkness next to her made Lunette recoil on instinct. She knew she hadn't been alone in the room, but it still startled her all the same.
Who are you and where am I? Why is it so dark? Lunette asked in as commanding as voice as she could manage, considering her throat was parched, almost as if she had been screaming all night.
Lune was on edge from so many variables outweighing that which she knew for sure. It was time to get some answers.
The crimson haired girl smiled politely to the dark-haired girl."My name is Lorelei, but my friends call me Lori. You're in Aekea's hospital. You collapsed after Barton was attacked. Your friend alerted us to you, there was a pixie who had got you stabilized. I was sure you may have needed more medical attention though. I brought you here because there was so much going on in Barton. I also wanted to ask you a few things." Lori poured a cup of tea for the bed-ridden girl, and gave it to her. She sat down in the visitor's chair.
Yume wakes up and yawns. She stayed up trying to find any info on what happened last night but she didn't find anything. Sighing, she gets out of bed and gets ready for school. After showering, putting on her uniform, and eating breakfast, she says bye to her mom and rides her bike to school. She sees the damage of what happened yesterday as she passes them. Yume hopes it doesn't happen again to the people of barton. She gets to school as she holds her sketchbook to her chest and sits down in her desk, hearing each and every student talk about yesterday and what they saw. Opening up her sketchbook, she draws and wonders if they'll find the answers as to who is doing this and what is going on.
You want ME to be the hero, Alice? Oh, alright....
Hydro felt a strengthening pull as she walked toward the town center. Sure enough, plenty of damage had been done yesterday. It was almost relieving to see it, physical evidence of something wrong in this town. Because there was something wrong, even though she wasn't sure what it was. She caught sight of the fountain. Oh she wanted to draw near the water, something wanted her to come there. Something needed her there. The water seemed unusual somehow.
Yin had begun to tug on her hair as she walked over the bridge she was taking into the town centre. "What, Yin, I want to go over....here..."
Hydro gasped. How could in the light of day, albeit early, could someone have just left a girl just lying on the bridge? Surely this brown-haired woman wasn't....Hydro dashed over to her, and turned her over. "Hello? Are you okay? Open your eyes? Hello!" Hydro looked around quickly, but she didn't think anyone was in earshot. "Help?! Someone! This girl needs help!" Taking a nervous breath, Hydro tried pouring in some of her healing magic into this strange girl.

Prim noticed that Yume had arrived, and she took her seat next to her. "Weird day yesterday, huh?"She made subtle conversation, as the others around whispered. Prim could tell the mood was very solemn, nothing like yesterday morning. The teacher's lecture even seemed in the tone of despair. Prim frowned a bit looking at the desk, thinking about yesterday's events. She didn't understand why there was a sudden attack on Barton. It was unusual and seemed too supernatural to be a planned attack. She had transformed, and now everything seemed much more serious, she couldn't just focus on being a student. She had to focus on protecting people from now on, she couldn't do it alone though. She needed help, guidance, someone with experience; she needed someone who could train her to be a great soldier. The problem was, finding someone like that would be difficult. It also meant she might risk revealing herself. She didn't want to reveal herself, not just yet; it could mean her death if whatever this evil was came after her.

A person always gets their chance of being a hero.
Suddenly, the stream of prayer stopped. Green eyes shot open at the sensation of magic tugging at her core. Aureate spotted a girl kneeling next to her unconscious body. So, she's the one, she thought, already grateful for the girl's appearance, but she knew that her abilities to interact with the helper was limited to speculating and environmental manipulation. However, the healing girl struck Aureate as odd. She couldn't help but feel that the girl had something more about her.
Intrigued, Aureate stood back and watched, waiting for the time when the girl realises that the body won't wake up.

Seren stood in front of the entrance way mirror in her home fixing her hat before making her way to school for the day, throwing on her brown jacket and slipping her bag over her shoulder she made her way out of the house. Seren wait I have something for you before you go came her grandmother's voice from the room before the door.
What is it Grandma? she asked as she stopped in front of the room, Seren watched as she began to dig through some drawers and pulled out a small white box.
Here Seren I want you to have this she held out the box to Seren and opened the top inside resting on the fabric was a small crystal clear prism like star on a key chain
Oh it's pretty but why are you giving this to me Seren questioned, it was pretty but a very strange time to get a gift.
Well you know I'm not from Barton right? This is a good luck and protection charm from my home and I want you to have it I want you to have it with all these strange's events going on
picking the charm up Seren looked at it then looked at the star shaped hairpin her Grandma always wore that she said was one of the few things that she still had from the small Gaian village she came from Were stars used a lot in your village Grandma? Maybe that's why I like them so much she laughed as she clipped the chain to her bag
Yes they were.....special to the village she trailed of at that and appeared pensive Well even dawdling now hurry up to school and stay out of trouble she commanded as she hurried Seren out the door. Waving goodbye Seren made her way to school hopping on her bike today as she was running behind.
Yeah Alice I'm lost and my character's attention span won't last long xP
Hydro wasn't a skilled healer but she could see her magic was having no effect.
"Yin....what should I do?" She whispered. "I don't know....." The girl felt cold...like the deep ocean and where depths were filled with harsh unfeeling creatures. Yin looked at Hydro, silent and still for once.
".....Anyone? Charm?!" She desperately yelled, on the only wisdom she knew, that strange angel imp that knew things. "Charm?! Charm!" Of course, Charm wouldn't appear. She knew it was pointless to rely on anyone, she'd let where she had been because of such a thing. But this girl....hadn't she had anyone she could rely on? Had she been hurt?
Hydro knew no magic, no piece of advice, nothing she had learned or read or experienced. She knew nothing except she knew nothing she could do. "H-help....." She felt tears run down her face. She didn't know this girl, she shouldn't feel a thing, but tears turned into more pleas of help and more tears and she sobbed, at a complete loss.

A/N: Anyone else want to intervene? Maybe?
Aureate was touched. No other person would have cried just to go help her except for one. The girl was sobbing, and Aureate felt a load of compassion surge through her soul. It was enough for her to at least raise a hand and slowly curling it into a fist as it did before letting it drop back to her side.
Wind rustled casually, but an invisible force went to a certain direction and targeted a person who might be able to help. The woman didn't know who it would summon, but she knew that anyone whom the Spirit of Giving chose would be a person of good deeds.
Lunette was still on edge and highly suspicious, but decided to play nice for the moment. Gingerly taking the tea this Lorelei girl had handed to her, Lunette tried to focus in on her memory archive, attempting to reply the events of the past day. Some of the images felt out of place, unreal. Had she really transformed into some super fighter, or was her mind so taxed by the sudden attack in town that her mind was supplying its own explanations to protect itself? Her head wasn't sure of anything, but her heart was of another opinion. She had no doubts about the chaos and destruction that had befallen the simple town of Barton just last night. As soon as she was able to leave the hospital, there was no question that she would see Barton Square in ruins.
Lunette had gotten so focused on her mental meanderings that she had almost forgotten the girl was still int eh room. Glancing over, she saw the girl, Lorelei, with her fiery red hair sitting quietly in the visitor chair, patiently waiting for Lunette to say something. Lunette took a sip of the hot tea before she spoke to loosen up her dry throat.
Questions. You have no idea how many questions I have, let alone the innocent citizens of Barton, especially those who bore direct witness to the attack. I'm not just imagining it all, am I? I'd prefer to think that I haven't completely lost my faculties yet.
Looks up and sees Prim sits next to her. "Yeah, I'm still unsure what happened. I was up a..all night seeing if there was something about it... So far no clues." Yume shook her head and looked at the teacher as everyone looked like they were a bit on edge, no questioning that after what happened yesterday with the attack on barton and all. She looks at Prim who is also more confuse, seeing that she gain some kind of power . "H..hey Prim? I...I'm sure we'll find someone who knows about this and I...I'm here for support when you need it " Yume smiles at prim to ensure her that she wasn't alone in this situation.
It was a fairly short train ride from Barton Town proper to the suburban Barton Heights, though for Terra it was just enough time to think. She tried to forget about how bad her day was, instead focusing on the day ahead and Prim, the peculiar young girl she met at the train station. Terra had trouble remembering everything that girl said before they parted ways. She recalled just standing there, rather inattentive, while Prim seemed to go on about... something. She diverged from one topic to the next; it was hard for Terra to really keep track of everything, though she did remember a few details. "She said she'd see me at school? She must be a freshman at Barton High. That's good! Especially since I don't know anyone there yet... But who the heck is Yume? I guess I'll find out tomorrow."
At last the train came to a stop in Barton Heights. Terra worked her way through the packed train car before stepping onto the platform. It was dark out, the sun well below the horizon at this point. Thankfully, her home wasn't far from the station. After a short walk, Terra made her way home and prepared for bed. She was done with today.
* * *
It was dawn over Barton Heights, the sun still just below the horizon. Most people would have to be dragged out of bed, kicking and screaming, but Terra was wide awake. She made sure to set the loudest, most obnoxious song she could find as a phone alarm, and set it to five o'clock. And while that made for a very annoying wake-up call, Terra got up without hesitation. She wanted to make sure she had plenty of time to prepare for school and arrive on time. With about an hour to spare, she made the short walk from her home to the station, eagerly waiting for the next train.
Terra thought about how her first day would go as she took her seat on the train. She wanted to make a great first impression, but she has been dealt a bad hand to start the year. It's always awkward being the new student, even more so being a transfer student who was previously home-schooled. She didn't have the luxury of knowing other students from junior high. And on top of all that, she missed the first day of school entirely. But she wasn't going to let that put a damper on her first day of school.
At last the train reached Barton Town, and Terra stepped of with her head held up high. That didn't last long, however. The longer she walked through the town, the more damage she saw, and the more her enthusiasm wore away. Clearly something happened yesterday, and Terra was completely clueless. As she made her way through Barton High's main office, she overheard some students talking about some rumors they've heard about yesterday. "Crows? A bunch of crows caused all this damage? Yeah, right," she thought, refusing to buy into the supposed rumors. "I suppose next they'll say they saw pigs flying." Terra continued to her first class, pre-calculus, and took a seat close to the front. More of the students were talking about what they saw on the news yesterday, only this time there was more to the story.
"Hey, you! Orange hair girl!" whispered someone to Terra's right. "Didya hear about what happened yesterday?" Terra turned toward the preppy girl, her head cocked to the side. Perhaps she was wrong to be dismissive of what she heard from the kids in the office, but she couldn't help but be skeptical.
"Um, no? I'm kinda new to Barton. But it was something serious, right? By the way, my name's Terra." Terra avoided mentioning the crows she heard about earlier, not wanting to be seen as a crazy person. Unfortunately, her words would elicit that exact reaction. The girl looked at Terra like she had a second head, as did half the class.
"What, do you like live under a rock or something? There were like these crazy demonic crows that came outta nowhere! Like they were just attacking everyone in sight! But then like there were these three magical chicks who like fought them off on their own! It was totally awesome!" Before Terra could respond, the instructor walked in. Noticing the new student, he had Terra stand up and formally introduce herself to the rest of the class, just as all the other students did the day before.
"Um, hi! I-I'm Terra. I'm not from around here," she mumbled. She could feel the stares coming from all around the classroom. The confidence she had at the start of the day had whittled away to nothing. "I-I grew up on a farm to the south of here... I uh... hope I can get to know you all better..." she managed, laughing nervously. Terra wanted so desperately to make a great first impression on her classmates. After that disastrous introduction, most of them probably saw her as some naive farm girl. She sank back into her seat, hoping everyone would just forget about her as the lesson began.

The place: A very particular tree in the Village Greens
The Time: The middle of the morning the day following the attack on Barton Square
Exhausted and weary from the events of the day before Aylin had dragged her small frame home to the little thatched roof cottage she shared with Kai. The sky that night had radiated with a dark and foreboding magic as the moon looked very different than it normally did. Trying to heal the young woman near the record store had nearly drained her petite body of every ounce of energy it held. Getting home of her own power had left Aylin so tired that she barely had the energy to fill Kai's food and water bowls. Once the act was completed Aylin never made it to her bed having passed out from utter exhaustion upon her couch.
Kai, upon seeing Aylin's immobile body, knew something had gone seriously wrong during the day. It was unlike the pixie to forgo having her own supper and pass out on the couch with her sword left laying on the floor. Since coming to live with her the cat had seen the care and pride Aylin had when it came to her collection of bladed weapons. Every sword and pole-arm had a place of honor in her small meditation area near the tiny shrine to Aylin's late husband. For Aylin to not return a weapon to its proper place meant she was seriously lacking the energy to move. The sleek gray cat feeling great concern for his roommate and friend spent the remainder of the night keeping vigil over Aylin's weary body falling asleep upon her sweater covered torso. And yet, as he slept, the broach still pinned to Aylin's sweater began to glow returning what was once thought lost forever.
The night's sleep upon the couch had returned a majority of Aylin's energy to the diminutive pixie. While she was able to function through her morning routine, Aylin was still far from being at the top of her game. Both the transformation from her grandmother's broach and the healing spell left her feeling sluggish and off the next morning. Aylin was still far from being able to properly function and be of use to the GCA. On top of that, there was the matter of the attack on the square the day before to investigate and the question of why her grandmother's broach reacted the way it had to answer.
Seated beneath the branches of her favorite tree in the Village Greens, Aylin was surprised by Kai's behavior that morning. The gray cat had refused to leave her side and refused to stay home. Aylin brushed off Kai's behavior as that of a pet who could sense she wasn't feeling well and decided to let him go with her. However, Kai was far much more than a simple house cat.
"I just don't get it. What could have caused what happened yesterday? Why did the crows attack the square like they did? Why did it seem like this crazy broach of grandma's actually wanted me to use it? And why did the moon look so strange last night?" Aylin asked the tree believing she wouldn't receive any actual answers.
The tree couldn't actually talk back but Aylin had developed a peculiar relationship with it during her time in Barton. The tree people in Barton thought Aylin had a romantic attachment to was a place where she could think without distraction. And oddly enough, it had also become a place where both her family and friends gathered to relieve the stresses of the day.
"Something definitely does feels off about the magical energies around Gaia and I for one would start looking for answers around the square," A masculine voice answered.
Looking towards the source of the voice Aylin was shocked to see Kai looking back at her with obvious intelligence upon his face.
Lore looked pleased as Lunette had begun to speak. It was good that her efforts had been useful. "No, I can assure you it's not in your imagination. It was very real. Every news station in Gaia was broadcasting the disaster. You were lucky to survive, and your friends were wise to get you out of town when they did." Lorelei's eyes locked on the Lunette's. "Do you happen to remember anything that happened before you passed out?"She questioned, trying to find answers. Lorelei poured a cup of tea for herself, and began to sip it. "Also, if you happen to know of the "magical beings" that have been rumored, it would be useful to me." She added, her eyes wandering down to her cup of tea.

Prim shook her head to Yume. "That's no good, Yume, but I'd be a hypocrite if I said I wasn't up all night as well. There's just something I have to do to figure this all out, and I need to get training. I'm glad you're here to support me Yume. I really appreciate that. I kinda feel like everything is happening at once. It's not everyday that you get p--potatoes to make a good stew." She cut herself off, before anyone else heard. It was better if no one knew about her powers, it could make her a prime target and suspect.
