Sludge just musicked at holding onto the rods today. In that he couldn't hold on at all.

Maybe liela wasnt meant for this kind of test. It didnt feel that bad as yesterdays, but still she felt it. Walking away with her tickling hands, she waits til tomorrow to try again

Gabby couldn't even hold on when he barely touched the machine, but he was a little more prepared for his second try. It wasn't good enough, but it was certainly better than his first hand's attempt.

True to his word, he eventually made his way back around the circuit to stand in line at the shock booth again. He was starting to think that doing as well as he had the first time had been the fluke in all of this, but that wasn't going to stop him from trying. Arrakis rubbed his hands idly together while he waited and didn't bother with much more than, "it's me again," and a grin before getting back into position. Left hand on the left rod, right hand on the right... it was becoming muscle memory at this point. He didn't bother bracing himself too overmuch this time, knowing approximately what was coming and that it was going to hurt, regardless.
And it did hurt, no denying that, but perhaps relaxing had helped with his resistance this time. He was able to hold on for a rather long time, if he did say so himself. Maybe there was a bit of slime still on his hands insulating them, but he'd done a pretty good job wiping them off beforehand. Arrakis couldn't help the small grin when he finally pulled his hands back. Better!

Nova is surprisingly not disheartened from his failure the day before and greets the lightning elemental with a grin and a wave, "I'm going to keep coming back until I master your poles!" The small demon looks like he's already been though several games today, considering the bits of snotcorn clinging to places he'd missed wiping off and the goo stains on his fingers, he should probably go find a booth to hit him with some water... after he finishes playing with electric that is.
Nova grips the pair of metal rods and nods to Ignatius that he's ready. The Electric surges through the items painfully, but Nova strives not to let go... and somehow he's still holding both poles when the time is up.

Aedan approached the booth somewhat cautiously, before gingerly gripping the two poles on top of one of the boxes.
When the electricity began flowing through them, he let go with one hand almost immediately, but somehow hung on with the other...however, it stung quite a bit when it was over, and he released it. Wincing, he waved at the boil manning the booth, before making his way off to try his luck elsewhere.

Mayaa puffed up her cheeks, and grabbed the bars.
She really really wanted to do this!
Perhaps the repetition had gotten her used to the shocking sensation, as she was able to hold quite firmly with both hands, but somehow, it felt as if she could do... better.
She wouldn't give up!

Nothing about this booth seemed like a particularly good idea... But Tenniel wasn't exactly known for his brilliant ideas. Actually, being relatively new to Amityville, Tenn wasn't really known for anything and he wasn't going to make the first thing stepping down from a challenge.
He took a deep breath before wrapping his fingers around the metal rods.
It wasn't long before regret began to settle in. He bit down on his lip, quickly releasing one of the rods while trying to hold out with the other. From the tips of his fingers, to his knuckles, through the rest of his hand and tingling up his wrist...
Tenniel let out a yelp as he dropped the other rod, shaking his hand as he backed away from the booth. "That smarts!"

"YO, IGSTER!"
Even before the yell, Piper could be easily seen ahead of time, her hair like a bobbing blue cloud in the crowd as she approached. She'd managed to recomb some of it from the giant bird's meddling and got it into a thick, if barely held together ponytail. In her hands was a black teddy bear plush adorned with spiky leather cuffs and collar, claws, and a very out of place pastel-colored belt around its head.
"I got you something," the ghoul said with a grin as she plopped it on the counter of his booth. "You better like it too, 'cuz I worked real hard on that."
And because she was on a roll and didn't think of the consequences for her hair, Piper grabbed on. Not for too long, mind, neither time could she handle the energy. She pulled back with a yelp and fanned her hands; her hair now looked closer to a ruffled cotton ball squeezed by a rubber band.
"I'm super tired," she excused quickly.

After a rush of creeple, the last few hours had seemed rather quiet. It was nice to get a bit of a break, and Ignatius let out a small sigh of admitted relief.
Not that he didn't like constantly going, mind, it was just hard to keep things straight with creeple winning left and right! And they certainly were not winning left and right today. (Unfortunately ... they just were not tough enough to stand it ...) He had counted at least ten, before, which was most assuredly a new record.
The incubus had returned and promised to master his poles -- which made Ignatius cackle appropriately, of course. It seemed that the incubus had a much better handle on his poles today -- hur hur hur -- and Ignatius quite happily handed off a ticket to him.
The harpy was doing really well, and kept getting so close, but she just wasn't there yet! He gave an encouraging whoop and a ticket to her when she managed to get through enough for a ticket.
It was not too long after that that a ... certain familiar puff of blue hair made her way into the booth, making her presence very obvious with a shout of Igster--new nickname, he naturally liked it--and plopping down a very interesting bear in front of him. Spiky leather cuffs, collar, claws, pastel colored belt?
It was perfect.
"I love it," promised Ignatius, and it seemed like he honestly meant it. Picking up the bear and happily placing it nearby, he decided to accept her excuse for losing -- her hair hadn't exactly been in the best condition when she had arrived, after all -- and offered her a comb.
"Promise I haven't used it."
... Though he wasn't sure a comb he would use on his hair would exactly help hers. Hm.

Despite of the pain, the electric shock booth was a good place to hang out, for endurance training and practice to muster up courage. That was why she re-visited the booth again. Putting her hands on the short poles with fear, she gulped and waited for the pain to come. To her little relief, they came at similar time and with similar sensation that she could withstand for a much longer duration before she had to let go. Quote: 101 - 175: You pass!
