9 (EVENT 3)
Be careful what you wish for.
And when she stepped into the next room, Kylee fully understood. For a darkness had taken over her vision, and even as she blinked furiously and waved her own hands in front of her eyes, she could see nothing.
This was not good. Not good at all.
(EVENT 3: A blindness overtakes you. This lasts for the rest of the event. You can no longer see what is in front of you! All you can hear are sounds, and you must tread very carefully. This also makes you extra vulnerable to attacks, as you take 2x the damage from not being able to see.)

Room 3 -> Room 9
He wanted to lash out. Anything had to be better than this gnawing feeling in his gut, even injuring another being in order to end his own suffering. Again. Brenley let go of the wall, stumbling forward and tripping through the door that had suddenly materialized on the ground in front of him.
He landed face first on the floor of the next room, the shock of his fall stunning him motionless for a time. Eventually, his eyes blinked open. He might as well have left them closed. The room remained just as dark as it had been before. Bren pushed himself to his knees and felt around the walls. The door was much easier to find this time, and a lot less hazardous considering it wasn't below him. He turned the knob and rose to his feet, carefully edging his way into the next dark room.Quote: EVENT 3: A blindness overtakes you. This lasts for the rest of the event. Being robbed of her sight was the worst thing that could have happened in this situation. Especially when there was an empty gap between two rooms she was required to jump across.
You can do it. Akila said firmly. Press on.

Otto turned, getting himself back standing after realizing Maebe had been staring at his a**. He couldn't say he wasn't flattered. More like flattered and a little self conscious. After all, another girl had seen the silly spectacle. Er.... "Uh.... hi." He murmured uncertainly, looking from one girl to the other. Another door, Otto leapt through. He ran through rooms, determined to find an exit. However. Suddenly he couldn't see. Otto's most petrifying fear, Darkness. He could see nothing. His heart raced painfully. He couldn't breathe. Hyperventilating, he curled onto the floor for securtity.

Room 1Hamika had stayed with Kae and her corvid. The bird was chatty and amusing and frankly after the tower did the... thing, Hamika really wanted to stay with someone where she could verify her awakeness.
Gone batty indeed. The zombie looked around, noting everything in her book. The spire, the room. The other room. And then the fact the rooms decided to... change and vanish and switch. It was like some sort of nightmare out of Wonderland, except with less glitches.
She looked up at them and then out at the rooms. "I dunno. Wonderland had it's twists and turns, but never something where the rooms change like this. They'd just trap you inside until you found the way out." The zombie ghoul watched the rooms move and she thought about it for a few moments.
"We'll probably have to just adventure through and see where we end up. Here," she said, and pulled off her hat to give to the reaper. "When we find each other again, give me my hat back. This way we'll know the other isn't an illusion, since... who knows what we'll encounter in there." She ran her other hand through her hair, shaking the hat hair out of it. It was odd, not having a hat, but she looked rather good with just the short hair.
"Good luck! I still want to taste your knees!" Hamika gave a wave before walking into the rest of the room and vanishing from sight.Kaefaux You have acquired HAMIKA'S HAT. She's going to want that back later. See you on the other side yooooooo~

She couldn't have known that the same blindness that had overtaken her had befallen one of the Hunters she had met earlier.
It wasn't as if she could have warned them either.

[ Hamika : Room 1 -> Room 4 ]
The room behind her vanished and suddenly felt very alone. It was odd to realize that she was more dependant on people than she'd first thought. Hamika always thought of herself as, well, independant and strong regardless of those around her. She was a zombie, she had died and defied that, so why shouldn't she be strong?
Wonderland had done more to her than she'd known. Wonderland had shown her that she wasn't strong, that she was weak. She'd been willing to end her own existence to make the pain and torture stop. She'd been willling to throw away the life that her Poppa had helped her achieve, just to make it stop. She wasn't like those who would end all to assure their place. Hamika just didn't have that kind of courage.
The room she was in was relatively empty and barren of the things she'd come to know. Traps, danger, death. It was almost enough to keep her from moving on.
But she had to. She had to get her hat back and see Kae again. So she continued on.

[Room 4 -> 7 -> back two steps -> 5] And off he went, all but running away from her and the girl who'd popped into the room behind her. What a charming way to greet a friend. Maebe's mood, and her expression, soured as she gave Kylee a dirty look and huffed her way through the next door. But as she continued forward, she was compelled to back up and retrace her steps. Better safe than sorry. "Brat." She muttered out, finally confident enough to continue forward, after kicking the door open angrily.

Room 1
((Enter))
She had managed to get out of the room full of the pools, her head clearing of all effects the second she went through the door and to what lay beyond. It had been an instant relief, to have those whispers dull to their usual quiet state, to have her head feeling back to normal, or as normal as it ever felt anymore.
What wasn't so relieving was seeing where she had wound up. This room was...well it was quite detached, and seemed to be hovering in space, as she gazed out of it's door at all of the other rooms, all also detached, some near and some far, and all moving at irregular intervals.
Shaheen had no idea if she could fly here, and inside the room itself there wasn't the space to find out. She wasn't about to jump out into that nothingness and test it, so she stood at the edge of the door, resolutely ignoring anybody who was there with her.
She still had a mission to get through. She was going to finish this, and find her friends waiting for her at the end, where they should be.

Room 5
Shaheen took a few steps back. She thought that if she watched through the entrance of the room, and found herself close enough to another with it's door open towards them, she might be able to run and leap into it, to move her along. She stood there, waiting, the muscles in her legs tensing.
Now!-----
A trap door opened beneath her, and with a tumble through the air and a tangle of wings that tried to unfold from behind her cloak and long streamers of golden hair streaked with grey, she fell into a new room with a resounding thud and a grimace as pain radiated along her body.
That had not been graceful.
But at least she was in a new room?

[[Room 9 -> Room 14]] Was it just really dark here? Otto panicked. But every room he found, by crawling slowly and feeling up everything ahead of himself, was pitch black. Was it the rooms? Was it him? He heard voices. He felt movement. He was terrified. Laboured breathing, sweaty palms.

[Room 5 -> 10] If she had to be honest with herself, it had bothered her more than she liked to admit that he'd just said hi and ran. But she wasn't honest with herself, because she wasn't honest with anyone. So Maebe continued to walk through doors, almost bored with the lack of action in each room as she passed through them, and she continued to not care that she was alone. At least she wasn't in the dark.
