Leto was sure she would never get used to the feeling of teleporting; somehow it was vastly different from walking through the cool surface of a mirror. When they arrived at the third floor, Leto took a gasp of fresh air and rubbed at her eyes to get rid of the sting from the smoke above. Then she was finally able to take in the scene in front of her.
There were far too many Negaverse Agents and White Mooners to count. She could feel the familiar power signatures of Dark Mirror Senshi slipping into the room as well, and that made her cringe. And when Persephone mentioned Bischofite, Leto definitely heard what she said.
"What's going on?" She eyed the General who was in the center of the room, being yelled at and attacked by his own fellow Agents. A youma remained with the crystals, doing whatever it was that the creature was doing with them. She could hear people yelling about a second rift, which made the hair on Leto's arms stand on end with goosebumps raising all over.
Anger was clear on Leto's face as she kissed Persephone on the cheek and descended into the madness of the bottom floor of the warehouse, as she passed Bischofite she spat, "General." She smiled at him and added nonchalantly, "It appears you've made plenty of enemies on your own side tonight. You may want to consider retreating before they and the White Moon eat you alive."
She wiggled the fingers of her functional hand in a wave and she continued on her way, deeper into the warehouse. She needed to find a mirror in order to get the Dark Mirror Senshi out of here alive. It was a warehouse full of boxes, people worked here, there had to be a bathroom somewhere...

Cyllene is on the third floor.
"What?" Cyllene replied to Kerberos, before she turned in the direction that he was looking in. Her eyes widened, but not with fear. She nodded slowly and her eyebrows furrowed. "I uh... Yeah... She was... They were both," she noticed Valhalla beside Ganymede and her breath hitched, "I..." Her hands went to her hair and she clung to it for a moment while she thought about what she should do. "Excuse me," she said quietly to Kerberos before she left his side.
She received the call over her communicator instructing the first stage Senshi and Lieutenants to retreat, which could only mean that this mission had gone to hell.
Her speed went from a walk to a run as she pushed through the crowd of people. She may have changed sides, but that didn't mean that she wanted her former comrades to die. Not like this.
"Ganymede! Valhalla!" She yelled as she tried to reach them, though Gany seemed to be on the move with her own mission in mind, heading towards Bischofite. Nononono, bad idea. Cyllene was sure Valhalla would follow.
She needed to do something.
Cyllene bit her bottom lip and teleported, so she appeared directly in front of Ganymede. She stared at the other girl with large, pleading eyes. "Not Bischofite," she glanced over her shoulder at the youma with the crystals that the Negaverse Agents had collected earlier. "The crystals. Stop whatever she is doing with them and get the hell out of here."
Cyllene did not want to be labelled in the Negaverse as a traitor, but if she allowed the Rift to surface, then the youma would destroy her. Corrupt Senshi or not, she was still a Senshi.

Thraen is on the 3rd floor
Why would you lose claws and present a larger target? The change to human shape could not have been strategically more poorly planned, unexpected or unwanted. Another example of the shoddy mish-mash of Order working together to protect order- they had so little policies or training to fall back on in bad situations to inform decisions or tactics.
Thraen stumbled back, trying to compute all the more the best course of action when someone was actively being starseeded- he knew the feeling well. The Mauvian (Cora) was her own best defender at this point, as many action as to get her out of the situation risked a violent removal or the hand crushing its prize. A direct shot that knocked him out seemed less risky. Then the eternal noted a dark figure-form (Avalon) coming up in fury out of his peripheral vision, but the General (Avalon) went right for Bischofite with her fists. Thraen was stepping back and around in a bid to gain flank on Bischofite, I don't know this other general but evidence is in my favor that as long as we keep out of each others way, he's our tar-
Pain.
Thraen stumbled with impact, side and ribs a mix of numb and on fire. He couldn't breathe. Whorling like a waltz, he put his hand to his side and slid it around as he stutter-stepped and found an arrow plain and clear. Whoever was firing into all the chaos had guts of steel and confidence of Robin hood in their aim- and from his wound it was with good reason.
What can find malice further bound or in sleep? Its worth a try, while I can still manage.
He pulled his hands up and said the words, "Thraen Perennial Planting!"
Super Sailor Scout Ability: Thraen Perennial Planting How it Works - Thraen folds his hands together like holding a butterfly, the opens hands and they are full of seeds. He blows over them, dispersing the seeds. Hundreds of vined flowers spring up, growing and blooming magically. Their scent causes those who stand near them to fall asleep, while the vines bind them Range - The patch of vines and flowers that grows is a 12 ft radius around Thraen (that's 24 feet across total in any diameter of the circle) Duration - The flowers bloom in the post he casts them. If allies and enemies do not get at least 10 ft away from the flowers, they fall asleep like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz. The sleep lasts for 15 seconds. The vines, however, last until the flowerpatch vanishes, and they hold a person down, bound among the flowers. The patch lasts for 20 seconds before vanishing. Damage Summary - Someone might get a bruise from falling over. Weaknesses - If someone doesn't stay near them long enough, they don't fall asleep and get tangled. If people hold their breath, wear a breathing mask, or cover their mouth and nose with wet cloth can avoid the scent as well. Once a person has fallen asleep in one flower bed, they cannot be affected by that bed again. Only a separate bed would affect them. This is an AoE (area of Effect) spell that effects allies as well as enemies.

Captain Schörl is on the bottom (3rd) floor
IT WAS LIKE A BUCKING BRONCO. Best. Decision. Schörl congratulated herself on finding plenty of fun at long last, even as the Eternal (Iris) gained freedom and she felt the distinctive weirdness-tingling of some magical attack landing squarely on her. It had to be from the owner of the voice (Metis) that was cursing at her, and as the captain regained balance on her own to feet from being thrown she looked around for the bearer.
But the quick visual pan was jarringly over editing with quick cuts- light filtering in blurred gold through trees, faces of people she didn't recognize saying something she couldn't hear. Schörl kept her free hand outstretched as for balance and readied her knout in the other. Running down an unknown street interrupted again, and she snarled at the senshi she only got glimpses of that was responsible. "I preferred Kallichore's drugs, love. Yours are too erratic. Won't keep you. "
The generals were calling for a retreat all because Bischofite wanted to make this part of the Earth as boring as the Rift? It wasn't an effect that she approved herself, with how the whole place lacked pleasure of any kind beyond- Her thoughts were interrupted again by some odd looking building at night and lights passing the windows like someone pacing the night hours.
-history and exploration, but re-purposing and highjacking the operation seemed a better strategy. If he's gone all boring... "Barbary!"
The flatlion dropped from the ceiling, like a parachute that intended to cover and tangle the senshi (Metis).
Type: Feral
Name: Barbary
Bonded Nega: Schörl
Appearance: flatLion (think Flatbear from oglaf, only a lion). It moves like Judge Doom, if it isn't being worn. That or it lays about like a safari rug.
Ability: Sound Dampening. Worn like a Hercules Nemean Lion, Barbary imparts a sound dampening effect making the wearer silent like a cat hunting. If the head is up, this effect extends to vocalizations being dampened, which may or may not be useful if the wearer is trying to talk to someone or give orders.
If Barbary is attacking an enemy directly, this is usually in the form of swaddling them, and the dampening still takes effect as the flatLion is in fact wrapping all around them.

Mica is on the bottom floor
It may not have shown much, if at all, that Mica was pleased with Haumea's obedience. Not only did she approve of obedient soldiers when there were so many loose cannons that plagued the Negaverse, but it would mean that he'd be safe from their enemy as well as their General-King's wrath if all of this went to hell. She would never forget the depths of Buddingtonite's burns and as cold as many claimed her to be, she never wished such a fate upon her allies. Patching up wounds left by the enemy was one thing, but left by their own? That dug under her skin and festered...
"Be safe," Mica said, her tone stern and making it more of an order than a request. There was still the matter of the Jupiter Knight (Valhalla) and the strange-feeling Eternal (Ganymede) to deal with, but for now, she did not raise her weapon against them, and neither did they beyond Valhalla's hearted words. She held down the urge to laugh, though her smile likely held a tinge of amusement as she replied curtly. "Nothing life threatening, assuming he's learned his lesson. The next time you see him, he might seem a little weaker, that's all."
She pitied him, but what good would her pity do for anyone right now? "Now, now, you're not helping anyone with that bleeding heart of yours. War isn't fought on wants- what I want as an individual is irrelevant, in lieu of what's needed. Call it what you'd like, knight, but the Negaverse has no need for dead officers."
Which was exactly why Mica kept her spear at the ready but never in a striking position. She sought to defend her officers-- the sane ones, anyway-- and while she would assist her natural enemies in their endeavor to stop this, she would not impede them either. Perhaps she feared Zinkenite and the General-Queens more than she was willing to admit... to take that chance. She was silently grateful for both Ganymede's dismissal of her, as well as Cyllene for her intervention, and she turned to the Corrupted, suspecting that the three had been 'partners' once and wishing there was time to relish in their pain. "She raises a point. I'd recommend a blunt-force object as opposed to magic, in case it absorbs its energy and makes matters worse."
She looked at Cyllene, her turquoise eyes narrowed as she whispered, "You've done enough to assist. It's time to see yourself to safety now."

Cybele is on the bottom floor
For a few moments, Cybele watched the fray from the stairwell and actually thought it didn’t look that bad. There were Negaversers everywhere, but that was nothing new, and at least there wasn’t as much fire here. Her head still ached from the smoke, but at least she could breathe fairly well. She wasn’t alone here, either. There were plenty of other figures in white around.
Then, as she spotted a flash of cream fur, every ounce of relief she’d felt turned to terror. It was Cora. Next to Bischofite.
“Cora!” Her voice still wasn’t the strongest, even as she started to run forward. Everyone was talking loudly and fighting, it wasn’t like anyone was going to hear her, but she had to try. “Get away from him! He’ll…” Her worst fears came true before she even had time to voice them. She watched the cat turn into a girl, watched her stumble straight into the general who slipped his hand inside her chest, and grimaced. Her voice dropped to a murmur. “...kill you...” Cybele ran faster, but her desperation only helped so much with the fact that she’d just been kicked in the chest, and had only really been able to breathe for about five seconds.
“Hunter’s Deadly Grace!” she called as she ran. Her head ached from the smoke and using her magic seemed like a good idea. The new words came instinctively. Well, at least the bow that formed in her hands was just a bow and not something completely unexpected. She knew basically how this worked. Her instincts also told her to fire straight up, which she did as she approached the others. One arrow came back down, as usual, bathing her in familiar light as the world came into sharper focus. The others flew at Cora and… Thraen? She hadn’t really registered him before but now she gave him a very brief nod before turning to Bischofite fully prepared to throw some attacks or at least some harsh words in his direction. Instead, she suddenly felt very sleepy. She felt, very clearly due to her magic, a vine starting to grow around her ankle. Was this more magic? Thraen had just called an attack... but she... was... a... senshi...
Her eyelids fluttered. Struggling to remain standing only meant that when the sleep came seconds later, she fell rather suddenly to the ground.
[Attack info- Basically it makes Cybele and two allies stronger and faster]
Hunter's Deadly Grace: Cybele summons a bigger bow with three arrows. The speed boost they provide is slightly more noticeable than Hunter's Grace. She shoots the bow straight up, and the arrows automatically target her and up to two nearby Order aligned beings (including cats). However, if there don't happen to be enough Order aligned beings around, the remaining arrows will randomly fall, and can be easily or even accidentally intercepted by anyone else around, giving them the benefits. The arrows can target Order aligned beings within five feet of where they are fired from, but arrows without targets tend to fall closer to that spot. The effect lasts for 30 seconds. She can use the bow to threaten people, under the same conditions as before. She can use this attack twice per battle.

Liryn, Falias and Athene are all on the bottom floor
Liryn had recognised Tsui as one of the people in the elevator, but the Tiger senshi had sprung out the moment that the freight elevator doors opened, calling on her magic as she leapt into the fray.
Shortly after there had been a clang of metal on metal as the blonde eternal fended off something with a frying pan. Liryn had taken the opportunity to slip out of the elevator the first chance he could, he had been planning to wait for the blonde senshi (Varuna) but had been distracted as one of the many Nega Generals said something about a second rift and had ended up somehow managing to lose track of her.
The 'Rift' thing whatever it was seemed to be linked to youma, if the one who seemed to be doing stuff with the crystals was to believed and that didn't sound good at all and so Liryn tried to pad closer, whilst trying to stay mindful of moving feet and hoping that the blonde senshi wherever she'd gotten to managed to stay safe.
Quote:
Feel free to interact with Liryn, but please quote me if you do
And then Falias was at the bottom of the stairs, his way forward being blocked forward by a Captain and Lieutenant both, with the latter of the two absolute mountain of a man.
The man-mountain's words were clear, as were his actions - the only way he was going to get in was pretty much by going through the pair. But then it seemed that at least one set of the footsteps had caught up with him, Falias aware of black hair and red and brown, before a woman launched herself at the Captain.
His eyes narrowed as he heard yelling from inside. Something about a Rift and betrayal and narrowed his green eyes at the man-mountain. "I'm not sure what you guys are up to, but I'm not liking the sounds of what I'm hearing coming behind you" and he hadn't just run down past that burning second floor just to turn round and go back up. "So if I have to go through you, I'll have to go through you."
He summoned his 'weapon', clenching his hand around the wand wrapped with mistletoe that had taken the place of the sprig the night that he had upgraded to Squire, ironically back enough in another warehouse and one that had ended up on fire. Looked like it was time to see if the wand was more useful than the sprig had been.
If there was a time to be happy that his senshi outfit was a relatively lightweight one, then today was the day. Despite this Athene's pale face was drenched with sweat by the time he managed to reach the third and final floor and the experience of running past the burning second floor was not one that he cared to repeat any time soon - well make that ever.
There was a Page and Squire ahead of him as he came down the final flight of stairs and the way forward blocked and for a moment Athene paused, hesitating and then he heard voices, first a male then a female one. The male voice saying something about a second Rift, whatever the heck that was, whilst the female voice appeared to be ordering the Lieutenants and Nega base-senshi to retreat.
It was at that moment that the Page, a black-haired woman, chose to tackle the shorter of the two Nega-agents blocking the bottom of the stairs, appearing to knock the other forward and Athene took a decision - whatever was breaking loose in the room beyond the two Nega-agents sounded bad and given that the Squire had a wand in his hand, which Athene assumed to be his weapon and the Page was engaging the Nega-Captain, the two Knights appeared to have things covered.
So with mind made up Athene retreated back up the stairs a bit instead before taking them at a clattering run, jumping at the very last minute whilst hoping that he'd timed things in such a way that he managed to leap over Page and Nega-Captain both.
He made it if but just, managing to tuck into a rolling break fall as he landed before picking himself up and trying to piece together what was happening. Then he spotted white, silver and grey Tsui? up by what felt like a Nega-General (Benitoite) and made to head in that direction.

Maia and Shang are on the third floor!
The elevator ride wasn't a slow one, but when the doors to the elevator opened to allow them to look upon the scene Maia could help, but to frown. This wasn't any better than the first situation on the rooftop and she didn't see any fire so it because abundantly clear very soon they all may be trapped in a burning building, with no way out.
She looked to her brother, "this has to end quickly," she said hopping he would understand as she ran out of the elevator into the fray. She had no idea what was going on having missed Bischofite's little announcement, not that she even knew who he was. She was worried about the flames, about them spreading and about the possibility of the floor above them coming down.
She spotted lot of faces she recognized, but most were otherwise occupied or scrambling.
Shang watched as his sister ran out, he did in fact understand her concerns. It would not be wise to stay with the building. He stepped out of the elevator moving away from it and looking around trying to discern what was going. This night wasn't exactly his idea of a fun time.
Everyone
Maia would love if someone could tell her what the blazes is going on.
Shang is open for interaction, roughing up, starseed pull, have funs!
Lt. Titanlåvenite is on the bottom floor, at the stairs
Retreat? He didn't know the Generals issuing the orders off-hand, all the more since it was over the comm crystals and he couldn't associate the faces, names and voices. But they are Generals.
Titan's expression went from disinterested neutral to dark, the whole situation was a mess. Really, he should help the captain (Jarosite) that was being set on by the perky girl (Themiscyra) with the bracers. At least her friend (Ashur) was mostly just standing by shouting. As a captain, the agent should be able to toss her and get on the retreat without interference.
A flash of purple oncoming and pausing resolved into Lady Ida. She was smoking, so the fires were getting bad upstairs. Only the upper ranks were able to teleport, how were the lieutenants not near a General supposed to retreat? Take the stairs? Life was going to get real toasty.
The Knights and Senshi would all have the same problem. Titan returned his 'hammer' to his belt He looked at the knight (Falias) who'd readied...a stick to fight with. You poor man. What is that supposed to do for you? "I guess not...I'm not sure what they're up to back there either."
Whatever they were all shouting about was well above his head, except that the jist seemed to be that General Bischofite had been a problem- small wonder there. "That mad dog should have been put down long ago. "
Looking over his shoulder, it looked like one of the other Generals was taking some steps of that sort, though her weapon would do better than her fists.

Bottom floor!
“Jesus Christ!”
Ganymede screeched to an immediate halt, barely able to stop herself from swinging at Cyllene with the frying pan in shock. Her arms reared back as if she were preparing herself to strike, but the movement froze as soon as she became aware of who had just teleported in front of her.
Then the boiling anger fluctuated and that feeling of failure lurched forward again.
“Don't just pop up in front of someone like that, I could have hit you!” she shouted, nearly hysterical. “s**t, you almost gave me a heart attack! Are you crazy?!”
Stupid question. Ganymede was fairly sure most people in the Negaverse more or less a little crazy. Or delusional. She was not yet sure which applied to Cyllene, and she wasn't entirely sure she wanted to find out. Like the option of forced or willing, she could not decide whether it would be better if Cyllene were crazy or delusional. If she'd gone crazy then that meant they'd failed to protect her; if she was delusional then the Jovians hadn't done enough to help her stay on the right path. Either way, Ganymede felt responsible.
She hadn't always been the best teammate. In fact, the last time she'd seen Cyllene she'd been too wrapped up in her own problems to pay her teammates much mind. She'd been too self-absorbed to be supportive and too in denial to make much of an effort.
She should have tried harder. She should have cared more.
“Don't try and defend him,” Ganymede said. Her expression twisted into a mix of anger and disbelief with a trace of pain. It hurt to look at Cyllene, hurt to be so close when she felt so wrong. Ganymede found that she was unable to stare the corrupt Senshi in the eye; her gaze kept switching between the hole in Cyllene's forehead and the one on her chest.
It soon became apparent to her, however, that Cyllene hadn't stalled her from any desire she might have to protect Bischofite from getting what he surely deserved. Ganymede didn't want to believe it, but it almost sounded as if Cyllene was concerned not for the General, but for Valhalla and Ganymede herself.
And, like the other General (Mica) said, she raised a good point. The youma seemed to be the one constructing the portal. It made sense to bypass Bischofite in an attempt to take her out instead.
“She can stay if she wants to,” Ganymede snapped, shooting a quick glare toward Mica. “She has a right to fight and defend herself or whoever else if Bischofite intends to destroy the city. You might have corrupted her but she is not one of you.”
She looked back to Cyllene, swallowed down the emotion in her throat. She removed one hand from the frying pan handle, reached out as if she meant to cover the hole in Cyllene's chest—fix it, force it shut, return her to what she was—but her hand trembled and she dropped it back down before making contact.
“We'll try for the youma then,” she decided. It was true that she might not have been able to do much against Bischofite anyway. She might not care if he turned up dead, but she wasn't of a mind to kill him herself. Youma, on the other hand, she had no qualms against eradicating.
“Cyllene...” she paused, struggled to determine what to say. What could she say? “Stay, or go. Do what you feel is right, but don't let them make that decision for you.”

Neso is on the third floor!
With Babylon and Virgo, Neso felt a lot safer -- and, oh hey, that friendly Dark Mirror was here too. He turned toward the sound of Chariklo voicee, but she was gone just as quickly in the other direction. "Oh, weird," he said, mostly to himself. Then he refocused on the two beside him.
As a handmaiden, Neso was accustomed to taking orders -- go here, do this, braid my hair, I need a hug. He was happy to just follow along and support as needed, and he especially enjoyed Virgo, always had. She had an energy that he liked more than others, though he wouldn't actually say that to anyone. (And not that anyone compared for him to Chronos.) So when Virgo led him away, he followed dilgently, his grin widening as she tugged his belt free.
"So forward," he said to Virgo, the joke softly muttered.
Another aura pinged into existence near them -- MORE Zodiacs. A knight this time. "Hi," Neso said to Bifrost, waving far more casually than the event called for. Then he was moving again, following Virgo down the flight of stairs. He cradled the coffee cup from Babylon in his hands; he was probably more useful doing this than anything else.
When Neso finally emerged on the third floor, it was in utter chaos. He hung just past Virgo's elbow. Slowly, he set the coffee cup down on the floor and assumed a defensive stance. "Did something happen? Why do they all look so confused?" he said, gesturing to the Negaverse agents nearby.

Kyanite is on the third floor... but leaving!
Lt. Kyanite didn't have much time to battle. Already, Bischofite was commanding them down to the third floor, and she was very good at following orders. She batted away the box that Cybele threw at her and then gave chase, trailing the senshi down the stairs. Was it just her, or did Cybele look different?
Bodies flew past her down the steps, knocking her over. Kyanite scrambled to her feet, just as her communication crystal went off and General Serpentine's voice filled her ears. "This was all... a lie?" she said to the air. The girl was still kneeling on the ground, but her fist tightened around the crystal until it bit into her palm.
"WE PROTECT THE EARTH!" she screamed, her voice loud enough for others to hear. "Another Rift would destroy our home." Tears welled up in her wide, purple eyes. She believed in this plan. She risked herself for it. But it had all been a lie made by a maniac. How was it that the Negaverse could contain such deception? They were military. How could the leaders continue to allow those who deviate on their own missions and plans to exist? It was a dark thought, but it was one that sat well with rule-following Kyanite.
It was not a question for Kyanite what option she believed in. A moment later, General Avalon gave her the push she needed. Squinting her eyes hard against the tears, Kyanite used the last of her energy to teleport to safety, leaving Bischofite to play his games with someone else's life.
Kyanite is gone!

Valhalla is on the third/bottom floor!
Valhalla jumped back as well when Cyllene appeared out of nowhere, that feeling of dread and despair falling over him again. There were too many he knew corrupted already. Too many good people taken by the likes of Chaos. And it wasn’t just the fact that people were being corrupted after being a senshi or knight, but the fact that the Negaverse, and even the Dark Mirror Court, was taking people who could have otherwise been close friends.
These people weren’t bad people, and he knew that… the situation was bad, Chaos was bad. But he never thought for a second that they should give up on trying to find a way to help. He didn’t even care if that meant purification or not — just a way to live in peace was fine with him.
He stood, weaponless, backed up to where Ganymede spoke to Cyllene while he still faced Mica. His hands were low and empty, his fingers spread in a way as if to prove he wasn’t about to do anything threatening. As much as he wanted to take Cyllene and bring her back with them, he knew their priority was to try and stop whatever it was Bischofite was up to.
“The youma?” he glanced in surprise from the corrupted senshi to the General, and then back to Ganymede. Everyone else seemed to be preoccupied with Bischofite, but what of the youma…? If they were to somehow destroy the crystals…?
Mica called him a bleeding heart… but it was times like this that he didn’t think anyone could blame him. They were standing, facing each other. Enemies. And yet they were still willing to help in what small way they could. They wanted what was best for the city as well, they wanted to get people out safely. They had some good in them. He wouldn’t have thought of attacking the youma without their suggestion.
“Thank you,” he said to Mica, his voice earnest, before turning to Cyllene. Ganymede seemed to be more affected by the fact that they were face to face with someone who used to fight beside them, but were now taken by Chaos. He remembered clearly how Cyllene was one of the very few to agree that breaking the mirrors might have kept the DMC out.
Regardless of what she decided to do, Valhalla reached out to lightly touch her forearm. “Stay safe…” he requested before taking a step back and taking hold of Ganymede’s arm to pull her away with him and towards the youma. He knew it was difficult for her, but there was nothing she could do to help Cyllene... not at this time…

Sailor Auriga is on the bottom floor!
It took Sailor Auriga a long time to follow everyone to the next location -- or at least, much longer than she wanted. She had gotten caught up in the mass of people fleeing the smoke to the lower floors and somehow found herself standing on the third floor, out of breath. Blue eyes peeled across the surroundings, landing on a few familiar faces. "Did Gunn set everything on fire again?" she asked herself, trying to decide what best to do to Save the Day.
She watched as one familiar face, Ganymede, approached a nasty looking Negaverse General (Bischofite) -- only to be stopped short by a teleporting corrupt senshi (Cyllene). But why was Ganymede talking to her? Wasn't she the enemy? She stood dumbly, like a child hearing the sound of its own voice for the first time.
It bothered Auriga. It bothered her a lot.
In the short time she had known Ganymede, she had, in her own way, begun to look up to the seasoned fighter. Why not? Ganymede was married, nice, pretty, and, you know, a seasoned senshi. Only two of those would have been enough for her. So why wasn't Ganymede fighting the corrupt senshi in front of her? What was the hesitation? What was the point of training at all if they weren't going to use it to beat down the Negaverse at every opportunity? Wasn't that their mission?
Gunn had said that no corrupted senshi or Negaverse generals or Dark Mirrors were their friends. She said not to trust them. Those were words that Auriga believed in, maybe because it was simpler. Maybe because it easy and she was a kid and she believed in simplicity. Gunn had said not to trust them.
Auriga planned on doing just that.
As soon as Valhalla and Ganymede left Cyllene's side, the Senshi of Pestilence sprinted over to her, swinging out her leg in a sweeping kick meant to knock her off her feet. "Chaos is not our ally," she said, petulant annoyance blossoming in her chest. "It doesn't work that way!" The teenager threw her weight into her attack -- with little more to her plan than expressing her anger.

Persephone is on the 3rd floor!
"He wants to raise a new Rift." Persephone snarled, in answer to Leto's question, and for the first time in a long time, she felt real rage boiling up inside of her. The kiss on her cheek cooled her enough for her to call a "Be safe!" after the Dark Mirror Princess, but her hands were already curling into fists as she approached.
"BISCHOFITE!" Her voice rose as loud as she could make it. "I am going to break your smug ******** face, do you hear me?" Sure, she didn't have a lot to show for it, since she was absolutely tiny, but the idea that he had endangered not jsut the other officers here, but the entire city for some absolutely mad ambition had her practically vibrating with anger. She didn't have a clear shot, not yet, but she'd wait for her chance.
With the orders crackling over crystal communicators, and the understanding of what exactly this operation was for, there was a long moment where Kerberos considered following Cyllene. Fighting with Order, for one night, because the very idea of a Rift rising on Earth made a cold fear settle in his gut.
Sure, he'd be in danger from youma, but - Luka. His boyfriend was, as far as he knew, a civilian - totally defenseless.
Not just Luka - Cass and Thalia, his sisters. His parents.
He raised his communicator to his lips, easier than trying to shout across the crowd.
"Sorry, Avalon - can't follow that order. Too many people I need to make sure don't get eaten."
He was staying, and he was pretty determined to make sure this little plot got disrupted.
When the smoke started rising, Penthesilea started running. It meant that she was on the move when an arrow came flying at her, and she had to twist on her heel to avoid it going straight into her face. Instead, it simply slashed open a cut on her face, and she reached up to wipe the blood with a low growl.
But there was no time to stay, and she charged down the stairs, nearly losing her footing several times thanks to those damned pointy heels on her new shoes. She didn't need too much information to figure out what was going on. With even Chaos turning on one General, well - that was the best target she could ask for. So she shoved her way through - no talking, no chatter, no need for it. She recognized Thraen's magic, flowers blooming from no apparent source, and took the time to draw her cape over her mouth and nose, wrapping it like a scarf, to hopefully protect from the spores. She wasn't going to fall asleep in the middle of a big battle again.
And once she was in range - "Penthesilea Call to Arms!" A slash of red light shot at Bischofite. She had to aim carefully, to avoid hitting anyone around him, particularly the cat-girl in his arms (Cora).
Penthesilea's Basic Attack
Sailor Scout Attack: Penthesilea Call to Arms! Penthesilea folds her hands in front of her as if she were praying and closes her eyes, speaking the name of the attack. Upon the last word, she opens her eyes and reaches out, and a longsword made of red energy appears in her hand. She slashes it towards one target within six feet of her and red energy flies from the blade towards the target. The force with which it strikes depends on how long the battle has been going on, from a slight smack to enough to knock someone off their feet or knock the wind out of them. Penthesilea can use this attack twice per battle.
Psyche is on the second floor, heading to the third floor via the stairs.
Thetis is on the Metis third floor.
If Metis could have seen the expression on Thetis' face when she turned her body away from the stairs and went to Iris, she probably would have felt really bad. His eyes were wide and filled with sorrow as he realized he was drifting further and further away from Psyche. His little paws pawed at Metis' fuku with stress. He wanted to demand things, he wanted to know why Iris was more important than Psyche! He wanted to but instead he lowered his head. He wanted Metis to like him, and so he kept quiet.
The elevator ride was short but when they were in the middle of a war path, it felt like an eon had passed by while they traveled down into the depths of what could only be described now as Hell. Hell was all around them and the elevator was a tiny space of Heaven. There had been no fighting in there, no smoke in there (at least in comparison) and for a moment Thetis felt safe in the building. He was comfortable in Metis' arms but unfortunately when the doors of the elevator opened, the chaos resumed and they found themselves in Hell again.
Safely was gone again but what was Thetis expecting? With a battle in such a tight space and so many Negaverse Officers and Corrupt Senshi everywhere, it was fortunate that they hadn't had to fight while on the elevator too. He appreciated that small piece of Heaven, his fur standing on edge when he watched as Iris was attacked by Schörl.
He hadn't expected Metis to react the way she had, and he found himself stunned and in awe at the moment. Not wanting to be in her way, and for her to find herself annoyed with him, he promptly moved out of her arms and onto her shoulder when she "requested" him to. It might be more like a demand, but Thetis simply couldn't image Metis demanding anything of anyone so that's how he heard it.
He wanted to be useful though, and so he kept his cat ears open and his green eyes wide. That's when they twitched, hearing a mixture of Schörl's voice and a strange noise from above from the youma Barbary.
"Watch out!" He called out to Metis as his forehead laserbeam activated with his desire to protect her, shooting straight up at youma Barbary.
In another area of the building, another mention of the team was making her way to the scene. Many people were filtering down the stairs at this point, some passing Psyche while she passed the others. She stopped briefly on the second floor, peaking in to see if there were any monsters there she could beat the crap out of. The only thing she discovered was fire, and after deciding she couldn't fight that and that it would take care of any monsters that may be remaining there, she decided to head down to the next floor.
There she discovered a group of people, including Themiscyra and Titanlåvenite. She seemed to take a moment to admire the large man's muscles before deciding that they seemed to be already engaged and took the opportunity to head into the third floor to see if Iris, Metis and Iris' cat were there.
She could see them in the distance, and what she seen was not what she was expecting. Thetis, who had was such a doormat, was shooting some weird light out of his face. Admittedly, Psyche thought it was pretty cool as she ran toward her team.

Sailor H is on the bottom floor!
The Mauvian Sailor answered the simple (yet complex) question as best as she could before the elevator door popped open. "It's only a recent development... but we can thank TECHNOLOGY!"
With the exit making itself apparent, she skipped out the elevator, as attentive as ever. She quickly turned to Irene to make sure she was okay. The air in this area was still polluted, but not nearly as drastic as the upper levels.
"I think I see them up ahead!" she called out before forging her way towards the Asteroids.
Iris is on the bottom floor!
The addition of a youma (Barbary) was rather sudden, but the runty Rex cat (Thetis) shot off an energy blast to hopefully take care of that issue. However, something else approached that caught the blonde off guard.
"...um... that's new..."
Whatever was approaching looked like *********, but why was she dressed like a senshi? Her brow knit slightly before she seemed to shake off the notion.
For the newly present Psyche, Irene, and *********>, she repeated the plan briefly. "I need you guys to cover me... I won't be able to attack directly fer a bit..."
With a firm nod, her fuku started to glow as it began to shift into something far more elegant.
With a heaved sigh, the Princess of Rainbows held out her crystal in its suppressed form. She wouldn't need to unleash it's full strength like with a purification.
"IRIS CRYSTAL POWER!!!!*" she called out in a clear voice.
Outside of the warehouse, the tell tale sign that some senshi business was happening seemed to make a path in the sky. A large rainbow managed to find its way arching over the warehouse where the various senshi, knights, and negaverse recruits were gathered.
Holding her crystal before her with steady hands, the Princess Iris concentrated on maintaining her magic for the full time.
*IRIS CRYSTAL POWER: Focusing on her crystal, Princess Iris can summon a giant rainbow which arches over the battlefield. It takes about 15 seconds for the rainbow to form, and once formed, the rainbow lasts about 90 seconds before it fades.
Effect: (While under the area that the rainbow covers, there are two effects a character can experience)
For a chaos-oriented character (Negaverse, DM Senshi, Corrupt Senshi), the effect that would be one of light while in the AoE. It would burn in a fashion similar to Iris’ Rainbow Revenge attack (moderate - heavy burn, depending on length of time in the AoE), the pain radiating from the starseed itself. For a character who has no chaos in their starseed (senshi, knights, civilians), the effect would be one of water if the rainbow comes in contact with them. It would soothe, giving a slight healing effect (regen) while in the AoE. The most any character could regain from the regen given the maximum time for the attack would be about 10% of their total health (averaging 1% every 9 seconds). It is not meant to cure broken bones, but to supply a faint amount of relief.

Cyllene is on the third floor.
Cyllene flinched when Ganymede raised the frying pan, her expression stricken with panic. "I'm sorry! I just don't want you to get hurt..." Her voice lowered and she looked away from the pair of Jovians. General Bischofite's safety was the least of her concerns in that moment.
Her eyes raised to meet Mica's, and nodded in response to her orders. If Cyllene was one thing, it was fiercely obedient. But all she wanted to do in that moment was reach out and hug Ganymede and Valhalla, particularly when Ganymede reached out to touch her and couldn't. Instead, she did all she could and offered them both a slight smile. "I'll be fine. I can teleport out. You two be safe."
She let out a heavy breath when Valhalla took Ganymede by the arm to lead her towwards the youma. She watched as they walked away, and was taken by complete surprise when suddenly another Senshi (Auriga) ran at her and swept her feet out from under her. Cyllene landed on the ground with a thud and stared up at the young Senshi above her, a deep frown set upon her lips.
"It can work that way if we wanted it to!" She yelled up at her and then grabbed her tightly around the ankles to yank her down to her level. She shrieked as she did so, suddenly feeling a deep, awful, burning sensation radiating from where her starseed lay in her chest.
