Hematite snickered. That was more like it! She chased after him; mouth gaping wide open and hands spread in a threatening pose as she cackled. To add to the effect, she sent out blasts of wind in time with her cackles.

Fois braced against the wind and landed on a nearby branch. He held a strong grip on the branch and closed his eyes to small slits.

Eyes closed to slits meant that it was harder for him to see, and easier to sneak up on him. Hematite grinned and let herself go misty and harder to see, then stuck to the shadows and circled around Fois. She tried to sneak up behind him and breath creepy little puff of air down the back of his neck.

Fois was startled by the puff of air down his back and he recklessly jumped up and got his wing stuck between some of the branches. Since his wing was stuck, he just hung in the air, both wings spread out and he tried to free himself, but failed each time. He glared at Hematite and lets out a loud screech.

Hematite pretended to look sorry, then held out a hand as if to help Fois down. But instead she snatched it back and called more lightning.

The bolt snapped one of the branches that held Fois' wings in place. The sudden freedom of the Hoothoot's wing caught him off guard and he fell down, flailing as he lands into the branches below. He shook his feathers to free himself of debris and jumped back into the air, gave Hematites a quick glare, and then he flew up higher into the trees.

Oh, Hematite just loved annoying Fois. It was fun to ruffle his feathers, so to speak. She tried to aim for whatever branch he was about to land on and tried striking that with a lightning bolt just ahead of him.

Fois was not going to land on any branches this time, but the bolt snapping the branch in front of him startled the Hoothoot and he bumped into another branch. Once he got himself all sorted out again he glanced back at Hematite before flying up higher.

As fun as this was, Hematite was starting to get a little bored. She sent another bolt his way once more, but her heart wasn't in it.

A branch snapped and smacked Fois on the head. He shook it off and continued to fly higher... Wait, isn't that the stadium's ceiling? His feathers were slightly ruffled from this observation and he quickly looked around the stadium for a place to hide.

Eh, enough of this, time to move on to something that seemed to be pretty effective before. When Hematite was sure Fois was looking at her, she started swaying and waving her hands around again.

Fois found a nice hole in a tree. Curiosity struck him and he ambled inside. It's surprisingly nice and cozy... No! He has to keep an eye out for that tricky Haunter.
