Whirl Islands The Lugia's confusion induced rage would begin to worsen as the water in the pool began to surge upward into twisters. The waterfall began to change its course as it began to flow around the cave in the form of a violent ring of water which began to expand outward, threatening to turn into a whirlpool with the Snagems at its center. The door was behind the Lugia, and more importantly behind this ring of water, yet it was not out of reach for them. The angry legend continued its thrashing into the walls, but was now able to focus slightly more as it unleashed another Aeroblast straight for the Snagems! Arceus save them all. Raine watched as the Aeroblast came towards them, closing her eyes and trying to move faster. "I've killed us all, I've killed us all...." "Squaaaawk!" The parrot would move in front of his trainer, throwing up a Protect barrier in front of them to shield the damage. Quickly, though, the shield would disintegrate and the bird would be caught up in the blast as well. The two girls would be caught up as well, but the human would want up staying conscious barely thanks to the stalling of her Chatot, though she looked extremely beat up. However, the Jirachi managed to get enough time to stall as the third tag on its head lit up and the eye fully opened. "CHIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" The eye would glow with silver light as it sent out a blast of energy at the Lugia, hopefully taking it down. If not, well, the baby was ticked over what happened to its mommy. Pyramid The Ion Deluge empowered Explosion would have a devastating effect on the Registeel and anything else metal as well. The explosion was like an EMP, destroying anything electronic as well as sending massive shockwaves through out the room, turning stone into rubble. The poor Registeel acted as a conductor for the waves of electricity unleashed, causing it to be zapped relentlessly. As if that wasn't bad enough the magnet waves unleashed by the Explosion were opposite with the ones it was putting out, causing the legend to be drawn to the center of the explosion! Once all was said and down the room would be turned to rubble and the ceiling threatening to collapse. The Regis were nowhere to be seen among this rubble, but perhaps that was a good thing. The hybrid breathed heavily, eyes starting to fall out of focus as she recalled the smoking Forretress. "Well. That works. Nice idea, kid." She started to walk forward, but fell onto her face, the bandages where her wound was crimson and the spot was growing. "Merde... Tati, grab her, we need to move!" She began to limp to the door as the Flygon grabbed the alternate Aile and flew towards the door as well, though she offered her tail to Aden to hold onto.

New Mauville The door would close behind Isaac, everyone seemingly have made it through okay. Future Isaac might realize something after the surge of adrenaline had passed and he was able to focus better, he was hit. A rock shard from the Ancientpower had stabbed him in the calf of his leg. Future Kasumi also didn't make it out completely okay as she was one of the last through, a Thunder having crashed down on her as she fell through the door. "Welcome, welcome further guests! Little Rhyme here seemed worried you wouldn't make it! So, how did you enjoy the first round of our game? Kuku!" Death spoke to those who arrived. Future Ren helped Future Kasumi, making sure she was alive. She was. "Damn, that hurt a lot" Older Kasumi grumbled, then got composed and began visibly healing right in front of the others. Being a Latias Hybrid had some nifty perks. "Good, we all made it" Present Kasumi said with relief, then looked at Rhyme as she and Ren were getting off of her "Sorry about crashing into you like that."

Darksol88 "For me, or for all of you?" Dark asked, countering the approaches of Blizzard and Darts with the very flames cloaking him. He'd soon absorb them, giving him a sudden burst of speed as more flames billowed from his sides and behind him. Unlike the ones that had cloaked him seconds before, these ones carried a purplish hue, toxic smoke quickly gathering from them. Unless they were quick, they'd find those flames to both burn intensely and make for a poisonous environment. This all said, his movements did become more erratic from the Chatter, but as he was already close to a decline in the cave, he was able to use a wall to keep from tripping and tumbling down. What he'd see as he came down gave him more than a few ideas. But for now, the confusion was keeping him from executing any of them. As such, the most both Crystals and Amaranth had to worry about was Zygarde, whom of which was barely fazed by the Psychic. Amaranth had backed up another step by the time that one of the Crystals spoke up to her, staying silent for a moment. Did she really have anything that could fight such a Pokemon? She doubted it, but she'd have little choice but to try before part of the party got squeezed to death. She just gave a nod before sending out her Togekiss. "Breeze, Fairy Wind!" It wasn't long before her Pokemon whipped up an unusual wind aimed at Zygarde. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to do a whole lot; it was enough to make it loosen its hold slightly, but unlikely to be enough for the binded Crystal to escape. It at least gave her some breathing room, the woman taking some deep breaths. She then eyes her hammer on the ground and lifted it up into the air with Psychic and slammed it onto the Zygarde's head, though this gave the other Crystal an idea. "Kairos!" She opened the Pokéball with her Sigilyph and send him out, the Avianoid Pokémon staring down the Order Pokémon. "This is probably going to be really bad for you, but use Gravity!" The Sigilyph bowed slightly, the Pokémon glowing with a light aura as everything would feel heavier now, also helping to accelerate the hammer to Zygarde's head.

Reaching the door with ease as the gliding flight was easy to control, Reno reached the door before attempting to open it. If it was some kind of problem, he could deal with it. Nothing so far had done much of anything to truly challenge him.
---
From underground, a small rock would pop out to stare down the Lugia again, a slight sheen on his skin as he stared down the opponent. The blast had hit the Light Screen and shattered it, sending him flying away into the wall even as his trainer took the remainder of the blast without anything to help her survive. Staring down the legendary type with its own growl in response, the Carbink would send itself flying into the Lugia's mouth, a Light Screen coating its skin to guarantee some amount of kickback on the annoying legendary type.
----
The Leslies would convulse slightly as their Doublades managed to catch some of the electricity from the Ion Deluge. Struggling through the electrocution until the shocks ceased, the two hybrids would charge for the other end of the room, Older Leslie swinging an Iron head to guarantee the door opening for them whether it would like to or not.

Kasumi of Vientown New Mauville The door would close behind Isaac, everyone seemingly have made it through okay. Rhyme was finally free, rubbing her head with a small groan. Clothing wasn't quite as plastered to her fur now, but her hair was still sticking to her face; she ruffled it a bit as Isaac and the others stepped forwards. Yes, she was worried. Yes, she still had her bell and pokemon on her. And Isaac...? Oh he was okay too! She scrambled up ran over to give him a big hug....before realizing this was only a round. Now she was getting memories...something about a Game that her brother Beat was telling her about. "R-round?!" She chirped in alarm, looking around for the voice in the too-white room. "How...many rounds are there?" She just wanted to go home, go back to sleep, maybe train with RC or chat with Isaac...somewhere that wasn't a battleground. She didn't want to fight anymore.

Mute Aria would stare down the Houndoom hybrid, struggling to process his interesting movements. First, he had planted those toxic flames and now he was hiding by the wall like some coward after all the big talk he had been mustering. Looking to her two Pokemon before centering herself into their opponent, the girl raised both her hands before beginning to do something that seemed odd. She began to snap her fingers at the hybrid. Letting the snaps ring a few times to hopefully throw off the hybrid with the odd gesture, Aria looked between her Pokemon before nodding to them. With the signal, the snaps continued to ring out, this time with something new added. Taking the loud snap and allowing it to focus their attacks, the Chatot and Exployd would begin to fire a barrage of Boombursts at Dark, timed to each snap and aiming to break the wall or the hybrid. This should be fun.

Isaac hugged Rhyme back, in hopes of imparting a little comfort to the tiny hybrid, it looked like she would need it. Looking over at his counterpart's leg, he grimaced. "You alright?"
"Yah," alternate Isaac replied, grunting as he pulled the rock shard free of his leg. Once the shard was free, he unhooked the leg armor from the rest of the suit. Removing a compress and some bandaging cloth from somewhere in the suit, he began to wrap up the injury. "At least I was wearing the armor, otherwise, I would have left that leg behind." Sliding his leg back into the armor, very carefully, he connected it to the rest of the suit and latched it on. Standing and walking on it was painful, but at least he was still mobile. The suit would just have to compensate for his injury.

"Ugh..." I managed to stay standing on my feet, but even now, I was worse for wear. Blasted Virizion. "Is everyone alright?"
"I don't feel too good..." Tristen spoke up.
"I'm actually with the kid on this one." Freth said.
"Truth be told, its a wonder how you all manage." Doc said who was watching from the sidelines. "Still though, this does put us in severe dire straights."
"As if we weren't as is?" I asked.
"Apart from that."
"What about Darts?" I spoke up. As soon as I heard the chatter from the various monkeys near by, I practically grimaced. "Never mind, we'll assess the damage later. We got to get out of here while we still can."
-------------------
This was starting to get dire for the alternates, however. They were dealing with a Dark they were totally unfamiliar with; by the context of how Dark introduced himself, it was probably a no wonder how he boasts taking out whatever counterparts he spoke of. The alternate Blizzard started to realize just how the other was. Outgunned, perhaps outclassed, and what makes it bad is that he's been through a lot over the years. He was left at a loss as to what to do at this point.
The foul odor started to fill the cavern, where they stood. He winced. A Smog attack? "Ugh... *cough, cough* ...I heard of blowing smoke, but this is ridiculous!" He then spread his wings wide, unleashing a powerful Blizzard attack towards Dark, hopefully carrying off the smoke towards him for that matter.

Unfortunately for Sol, he looked like he'd be taking the next Aeroblast head on, especially with the whirlpool becoming a very real threat. One that Cera was caught up in, no less, but she was desperately trying to force her way out.
When he looked to be seeing a demise that he wouldn't be getting up from, he had thought that his run would end there... at least, until the late Aria's Carbink tried to give Lugia an emergency dose of iron. It gave him enough time to try and fly over the whirlpool, though he had his doubts that he'd be getting Cera out of her predicament.
---
Aden was still twitching after everything, his hair practically on end from his Ampharos' efforts. To make matters worse, his SNAG was certainly done for if it wasn't already. At least it wasn't one of the newer ones. That said, the overall result wasn't what he had hoped for, barely managing to grab the tail extended to him and holding on. "Yeah, thanks..." He commented afterward, making a note to never try that again. Maybe.
---
Hiding? Not really. To Dark, ruses could run the full gamut of tactics, and confusion was only a minor setback. The two Pokemon starting their Boombursts prompted him to dart into the chamber where Zygarde and the three others already were, only for the gravity to suddenly intensify and Zygarde to take a hammer to the head that really didn't bode well for it.
Amaranth would recall her Togekiss as the gravity intensified too, watching what unfolded. She could feel that they weren't as alone as before either, though she had no idea as to why yet.
A roar from the Pokemon would come soon after and, despite the gravity, it'd throw itself into an Outrage, freeing the Crystal it had bound, but making the area unsafe for anyone that was there. There was a door not far from it, but could anyone get through it with the rampaging Pokemon before it?
Dark's apparent answer to that was "maybe," letting out a howl that rang through the chamber. Everyone near him would end up being subjected to a pulsating aura escaping him, the Dark Pulse trying to cause as much disruption as possible and send the oncoming smoke to billow around him. He was mildly used to the toxins contained within, at least.

SubonicXP Having decided to retain her strength for later on, just in case she was really needed, Trishella had remained out of sight as much as possible and allowed the others to fight, contributing where necessary with a helpful gale. She'd flown after the others as they crossed the water to the old New Mauville power plant and once again stayed out of harm's way as much as she could. The Lykases were quick to react to their situations, attempting to flee the darkening area rapidly. MerLykas wouldn't be so lucky, however, as his tunnel led to a dead end. With the water becoming ever saltier, he was forced to do the only thing he could think of. With a snap of his tail, the gem on his forehead glowing with a deep indigo light, he unleashed a Twister into the tunnel, churning up the water and blasting it, along with any Seadra unfortunate enough to be caught up in it out of the tunnel entrance. JelLykas was more fortunate in his escape, having somewhere to go. However, he was pursued quickly by the Seadra, coming up to a point where he was forced to fight once he reached a roomier portion of tunnel, he squared himself against the seahorses and began to lash out with Hexes left and right while grabbing at and whipping the ones he could reach into one another. KlefKaya and ChandelOdd entered the mountain cautiously, despite the eruption surrounding them. Neither was willing to risk anything here. Kaya did what he could, keeping a Leaf Blade handy to help hold off their foe but he was quickly overpowered and left for dead, Channeler Odd staying nearby to keep him alive as best he could.

With the new additions to the area that the other Snagems were currently occupying, the loud rumbling would strength as whatever was within the visible cavern came bursting through the wall to face whatever had disturbed its home. And while it was not massive, the Heatran that smashed through the wall would be intimidating. And with a blast of a Lava Plume aimed to shower the Snagems in hot magma, the Heatran would scale the walls to have the advantage of higher ground.
Reno would stumble as the magma came down onto him, his jacket getting singed even as he attempted to hide behind anything nearby. Looking to his Pokemon, he motioned towards the Heatran before watching a few failed attempts to hit the target.
-----
Mute Aria would pursue the hybrid, continuing to snap her fingers and send Boombursts flying at her opponent. Or opponents now, seeing teh Zygarde attempting to attack the others. After a few Boombursts escaped, the Dark Pulse hit the girl and sent her sprawling across the floor to stare at her opponent as the hail of Boombursts ceased. The Pokemon were more concerned with their trainer for the moment and for good reason, since they saw her as fragile.

Whirl Islands The Light Screen forged by the Carbink would cause a hefty amount of blow back for the legend, causing it to wail in pain but alas the Aeroblast was released, however weakened. With the Carbink taken with the watered down Aeroblast it would meet the Doom Desire, a power struggle taking place. The legend fought fiercely, and seemed as if it would be victorious as the power gap between the two legends was simply too great. There was still time for the Snagem's to escape though, the raging waters dying down as the Lugia focused all its might to win this clash. Unfortunately this meant leaving the Jirachi to fend for its self. Limbo Those who had just passed through a door in their reality would now find them in the vast emptiness of white with the other Snagems. Death would great them all the same, with a cocky attitude and his signature laugh. "So many of you have survived the first round! Kuku! Unfortunately all of you can not advance. Here is the deal, the next round will involve teams! Only ten of you can advance, each in an opposing team of five. Both teams will then be given a...challenge, kuku. Now while you decide which of you goes on why don't we have a history lesson, hm? Kukuku!" Death laughed as images were conjured in front of the Snagems, showcasing things they did in the other realities, and some things they were sure they didn't do. "New Mauville City nearly ended in total failure, were it not for the heroic deeds of Isaac the Engineer and Rhyme, the Rhythm of Lightning! The brave couple fought the monstrous Zapdos, combining Isaac's ingenuity with machines and Rhyme's mastery over electricity, in order to stow away the legend's massive chi reserve in the form of a crystal, similar to a Thunderstone, dubbed by them as the Zapdos Heart. This stone would go onto power New Mauville for thousands of years, and the couple would repopulate the city with their hybrid offspring, all masters of technology! Don't ya love a happy ending? Kukuk!" Death laughed. "The First Human-Pokemon War ended in a cease fire, a brave group of hybrids having stopped the advance of Virizion's forces which would have certainly decimated the only colony in Unova, and thus put an end to any possibility of human settlements in the region. With Virizion cut down the hybrids acted as peacekeepers between the humans and Pokemon, both sides accepting them as one of their own. Unfortunately, the hybrids were unable to prevent the Second Human-Pokemon War which devastated the land and saw the leader of the hybrids, his own son and wife, killed. The Cold One was then banished to the far northern region of Unova, where he lived the rest of his life in a cave made icy by his sorrow...now that wasn't happy! Kuku!" Death again, laughed. "Another couple went down in history as having prevented the behemoth, Regigigas, from reshaping the world a second time! The loving couple, a hybrid and a human! Chased down the three Regi which had been summoned to Regigigas's pyramid. It was there that they defeated the Regi before they could awaken their master, and banished them to various tombs across the world. For good measure they flooded the desert around the pyramid so that no one could find it again...how they did that I don't know, kuku!" Death said.

Death's beginning to tell the tale and her mind slowly just...kinda...stops. Excuse me?! WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?! She understood the stone. That was good. She didn't quite get the concept of Chi channeling yet, but...what was that last part?! Re-population??? Eyes wide, her mind just kinda takes a minute to "shut down and reboot", resulting in a slightly awkward cough from the Pachirisu hybrid. Okay, there's a thing about teams? She's taking a minute, struggling to recoup and focus on the initial topic spoken about--the teams and challenges they're going to face in Round Two.

He may or may not have noticed it but regardless there was now a round gem of some sort of his pocket, bursting with light which would consume Darts himself.
