His previous attack turned out to be surprisingly strong. Jabber was starting to feel bad. Usually his attacks didn't seem to be that strong especially looking several gryphons, hatters, and even caterpillars running around. He more the average type. It was only recently that he had managed to get his hands on a couple good high attack cards. He used to never have any luck with looting cards, but there had been a turn around with the new mobs coming out. However, he always seemed to have a knack for rolling healing and defense cards. There had been more times than he could count when he had jumped in to kick the enemy only to release all he had in his hands were heal and defense and he had ended up retreating with embarrassment.

It the worst was when he missed, but that did not seem to be too much of a problem now. He thought about the strange clock staff that he had received. The handle of it was particularly squiggly. He did not quite know how to hold it, but it did look pretty cool. It also gave him quite a bit of satisfaction that he could use it to attack enemies than say a shield. Though seeing as how he did not really want to sit back in battles anymore to heal people up and defend constantly, he would probably have started trying to throw the shield at the enemy instead.

Being on the attack just seemed so much more satisfying.

However, the dice gods were never really kind to Jabber. He had lost count of how many times he cursed them when he got measly loot instead of well, great loot. He had even considered sacrificing the remains of great bosses to the gods of dice, but he did not really get around to that, mostly because when he came to his senses, he realized how creepy that would be. And he figured if he was going to start a cult, he would need to think more on it and actually devise a feasible plan to appease the dice gods. He didn't really wanted to be labeled as crazy unless it was worth it.

Jabber's sister had once told him a story about a human emperor who had declared war on the sea. He had ordered his soldiers to stab the sea and a couple of days later, he declared his nation victorious. His men collected sea shells for loot. The siblings had laughed and talked about how humans were crazy.

Jabber didn't want to go down like that. He needed to really come up with something lucky. He thought dimly about hunting down leprechauns, but he immediately dismissed the idea because it was stupid seeing as he was not even sure if leprechauns would help him and it would be such a pain to go leprechaun hunting seeing as they were known to be tricky little blighters.

He sighed.

Well, it was time to attack again. He kicked the queen.

Still he pulled out cards, not hitting as hard this time as previously. Still he would continue on because they needed all the points they could muster. The queen had to fall.

That was more like it.

He practically purred, as he summoned the cards and flicked them in the direction of the boss.

Epithet had entered the fray, watching as his fellow faction members give their all into driving themselves into the White Queen. This was the Queen that ALICE AI spoke of, one of the two. He would wager that the white faction were facing their own queen. The cheshire cat gave a roar as he charged into the fray, his hands moving, swiping before him as he activated his special abilities. His form split in half, the new presence charged forth to do his bidding, to be him while he stayed behind safely. In a way, he felt horrible about it after listening to the ALICE AI talk about how she was created from them and that she was having them do her bidding by guiding them to defeat the Queens. Would his illusion turn on him? Would his illusion take his place? Would the replica take his place. He growled at the thought as he activated his next skill; supporting those around him, granting them an additional boost to their cards in hopes that they could push some more damage into the queen.

"Attack, heal, attack." He repeated to himself as the illusion did what he requested. It attacked with its wicked claws, taking the auto-damage from the boss whilst the avatar remained behind to heal it through some damage, prolonging its duration - its life.

A grin slipped across his face when he saw that cards that were dealt to him this time. When the 10 was shown and a miss wasn't, he smiled a wide smile that was worthy of a cheshire when his named card showed. Not only that, he also drew a luck multiplier! Ontop of a heal, the cards he was dealt was perfect. Out of the corner of his eye, he noted the Griffon nearby, one of the best damage dealers out there. He watched as his claws dissipate into the shadows as a treble clef appeared in his hands. Swinging it, he directed it to the Griffon granting the player with the buff [The Emperor], and with the luck multiplier, he healed them through the auto damage the boss would deal. He cursed at himself for embuing the poor soul with doubling all of their cards but it meant they took double the damage. It was a risk he had to take. He had a resurrection ability as backup.

Epithet felt a rush as he was healed through the recent onslaught of damage, or rather, his illusion did. As long as his Illusion was alive, he was safe himself. He would have uttered something along the lines to the Griffon, but they were already off making full use of his Emperor buff. He scoffed as he joined the fray with his own onslaught of damage, even going as far as summoning his Otokoyo for some additional damage.

He was invariably pleased with the amount of damage he was able to rake up as a result of the received momentary boost in his abilities, letting loose his innate nature as one of the War clan as he began a deadly dance with his wielded blade.
