SCIENCE turned back to the door, and saw that the knob was missing on this side. Hmmm... how would she get out?
After a brief examination of the room, SCIENCE determined that, while very nice indeed, there wasn't a second exit. She couldn't break the window, and the fireplace was blocked. Pushing and trying to pull the door didn't do anything. She finally ran into the lockpicks when she climbed atop the mantle to examine the ceiling. She hadn't been able to see them before. Too short.
She grabbed the set, and took them back to the door. She had no idea how these worked, but she knew the squiggly end went in the door. So she put it in, and wiggled it around.

When she woke up, there was a pick stuck to her face. SCIENCE decided that it was as good as any of the others she'd used, so she went back to work with it.
And it worked! SCIENCE, triumphant and well-rested, ran out of the room.

Dotdotdot thought picking locks was a rather indecent thing to do, but since someone else had locked her in and it was the only way out, she had no other options. She picked one of the lockpicks ... if she tried hard enough, she would get out eventually, right?
