Motivated by the possibly finding 'Tai again, MistahDarcy was mostly wandering about when he happened upon the sidequest.
He sort of frowned at what he had to do - it seemed silly but he would try it. It'd waste time and maybe he'd be found by the one he was looking for. MistahDarcy went to try and pick up his supplies. The buttpat and the voice that followed just made him shake his head and chuckle a bit, "Yeah. I guess so." He'd managed to collect the painting supplies and now to actually paint some roses.
He either got a little confused or just didn't find roses but he'd managed to paint at least five.

He continued to find roses to paint with a bit of a thoughtful hum, "Sanity is overrated. We aren't exactly sane ourselves."
They weren't batshit crazy, but they certainly were a little bit unsettled.
As he painted roses and he paused, "..So this is like one of those online games, yeah? Isn't there like a party system?"

After a moment or two he put his things away and found his loot. He was looking over the UI-thing that was in his pocket and fiddled with something. A party invite was sent to Ariane, "Um. It is, -I think-, where people can work together and complete goals."
He shrugged his shoulders a little, "I guess it is just a thing to make the game a little easier."

...dinosaurs. There were. Dinosaurs. Everywhere. At first, the discovery of the world completely populated by dinosaurs had left SpringTooth's heart pounding with terror, cowering behind trees and wondering if they were going to attack, just as that creature in Tulgey had. Slowly, though, he had become accustomed to it -- especially when they spoke to him, as this one did. It pointed to paint, and a paintbrush, and SpringTooth stared down at them for a moment before grabbing them and, carefully, retreating away from the monster. At least, painting roses, he might be alone. [1, 1, 2, 0, 2, -1, 2, 1, 1, 2 = 11!] He moved through the place slowly, carefully -- peering around corners to check for dinosaurs before he rounded them, and once or twice brushing against some of the creatures. He must have known, somewhere deep down, that they were something else. Stranger things had happened in this place. His gut reaction, though, was uncomfortable. Unhappy. Unamused. So he worked through the maze in fits and starts, painting a rose here, two there, and only once getting turned around enough that he had to backtrack, stepping on a flower as he did. Ten. Eleven. He blinked, surprised by how quickly that had gone, and looked around. He was in the treasure trove, apparently done. He dropped his paintbrush and can without hesitation to step forward and claim his reward. And as he walked out again, he could relax.
