"None...?" He replied
Up and down, up and down. Parts of him regretted that permission he had given ********* to pick him up but she often rewarded him with pets that made him conflicted on his choices. They felt good but the sudden movements that came with abruptly being scooped up off shoulders and placed onto the ground made the cat feel a little motion sick.
"*********! *********, what are you doing?! It's not safe to go aloneeeeeee," he yelped, jumping back suddenly when the hat had been placed beside him.
********* couldn't be stopped though, and now that he was alone without a companion to help solve this mess he found himself protecting ********* hat by hiding under it. It was doubled as doing what she requested as him and hiding from the catbeast. He needed time to think, he needed time to come up with a plan, and he needed time to attempt to get over his fears!
He paced, moving the hat around in a circle on the ground as it moved with him. If only he knew what was going on in the real world!

C. Do Something Else....help distract.Khayman had been relatively passive this entire time, favoring to pick up Pippin and hang back, afraid his little companion was too small to not get hurt in some way in the middle of the fray. He wasn't like Khay. Killing and hunting didn't suit him, like it so obviously had the mau in the rift, though he was loathe to admit it.
Even now, looking at the poor pitiful creature whom was bleeding.....wait....bleeding? His ears perked up as the others were gathering round the creature, while another Mauvian went.....sailor? He paused, wondering how in the world THAT could happen, but didn't let himself ponder it too long. Nuzzling Pippin quietly, even risking a small lick between the munchkins ears, to the left of his headstar, he bounded over as quickly as he could to the group most prominently facing the....thing.
"You are correct, white one, this is not youma. They bleed black, or turn to ash, there is no inbetween. Whatever our plan, we must try to save this pitiful creature to the best of our ability," he ushered with a sense of urgency, worried green eyes scanning the puffy white cat as he darted in close to him, joining the fray. With two targets underfoot, surely the catbeast would be distracted enough so the powered up Mauvian could.....do what? Purify it? Perhaps. She did seem white moon after all, so perhaps she could return it to whatever natural state it should've been at all along.
Dodging the things claws, he shook out of his scarf, the little necklace often hidden in his thick fur jingling as he did so.
"Friend! Perhaps we are not as large, but can trip the beast to gain our lady scout more quarter?" he offered, leaving one end of his scarf free, while keeping the other in his mouth after speaking. After the Rift, he'd come to understand the innate usefulness of personal fashion as a weapon, especially for tripping and binding things. If they could help immobilize the beast, things would be easier for sure.

There was a mild look of surprise as her 'partner' in crime (Horatio) dashed off, in a way sacrificing herself, to give Dahlia another attempt at an attack. Especially when it became obvious that she was not simply dashing about to provide distraction like the other cats running around the feet of the creature. No. Brilliant light flashed as she let loose a forehead beam that would surely tire the kitten to the point of barely being able to defend herself. A small groan escaped Dahlia at the loss. But she was quick to try and not make the loss be one in vain.
Scrambling for the shard of glass Dahlia loaded it in the googles before flinging it in the direction of the monster, hoping it would land like the stick had. Another annoyed noise escaping her as the sharp edges of the glass drew a fine line of red along her paw in her rush. "Stupid idiotic monster." She grumped unhappily.
Things were chaotic. Cats were dashing in and out around the monster, either trying to distract or attack. In the near distance she could hear another cat calling out. Of course it wasn't a youma. She'd seen the damn idiot human that had someone turned into the monster. And he was certainly right about the blood. But like hell she gave a crap about saving the monster (or the human he'd once been). He should have just handed his rock over in the beginning and not have hurt all of them.
And then she saw it. A small item whipped out by a familiar (and chubby) cat. An item that, with some kind of manipulation, suddenly produced a very interesting result. The chubby cat wasn't simply in her cat girl form, no. This was something very different. There may have been a spark of jealousy hidden in her frantic thoughts. But those were thoughts and feeling for another time.
The answer was Mauvian tech. That was the only answer she could think of. Dahlia began to pull all the random pieces of Mauvian tech she'd ever fiddled with that were hiding in her subspace and add them to the pile she had in front of her.
Goggles, flag, communicator crystal, bubble gum, a few random bits of wiring and circuit board, a collar?, some contraption that looked like a watch, and another contraption that looked like a fan.
Grabbing the fan-like item herself she attempted to focus on doing something with it to make it useful.
A) Try to make a 'weapon' to kill the monster. ((If anyone else wants to hop in and try and help make stuff with her pile feel free.))

C) Attempt something else (Cora is hugging ********* style="color: orange">For a good while Cora had been just running around in panic, not able to put her focus on anything. She hated it when things like this happened, that she lost control of herself but she was a little she could do to help the situation. Sometimes the pressure just got too strong. She wanted to help the poor man who had turned to a beast. She wanted to help her Mauvian companions from not getting hurt. But what she could do when her mind was anxious and her body restless.
What finally stopped her from running around like a headless chicken was the transformation of *********>. The turkish van halted to where she was and just stared at her manx friend in awe. What she had turned into? She looked a little like senshi, she felt a little like senshi. Well, whatever just happened, it was awesome!
"Wow!" Cora let out an excited yell before taking couple leaps which led her next *********, turning into her cat girl form on the way. "Wow, look at you! You look so different! You look like a senshi!" She circled her couple times, careful to not step on her hat until finally wrapping her arms around the sailor cat, giving her a quick hug.

Something was clearly different. Her ears were twitching up a storm moments after she had put on the mask. Her pigtails felt strangely weighted compared to usual. Her outfit also felt a bit different, though what specifically felt different she couldn't place a finger on.
Starting with her toes, she extended one leg forward, pointing her toes outward. Everything there seemed in place. Moving up, she took to looking at her skirts. They were still as soft as they had been before. Her suspenders seemed the same, with the cheerful bells hugging her waist.
She turned her head to inspect the back of her top to find where the similarities had ended. Her top seemed to have split into a white section and a bow along her skirts in the color of her previous top.
Wait a minute...?
However, before she could ponder more on the subject (or take notice of the now moving hat that was Thetis), Cora had rather suddenly seemed to pounce at her.
********* ears twitched again. "...a Senshi...? Well... that's not what I intended to do..." She scratched at her cheek, briefly noticing that the buttons upon her cuffs had shifted into star-shapes.
"...However... standing here and trying to figure it out won't do any good right now!" With the hand she had scratched her cheek with, she attempted to loosen up the hug-grip that Cora had upon her.
"...we need to fix whatever is going on over there..." the oddly sailor-suited Mauvian said, pointing her other finger towards the cat monster.

As *********> arms freed her from the hug Cora was giving her and she pointed at the monster, the cream-haired cat girl looked down, feeling a bit embarrased. Of course. How could she be so ignorant and easily swayed by her emotions. "You're right," she admitted silently.
Her fuschia eyes turned to look at the cat-monster that has once been a young man they had made so very terrified. At times she glanced at *********, eyeing her new uniform, maybe feeling a bit jealous but in the same time also glad for her friend.
Suddenly, an idea popped in her mind. "How about you try to focus on this new form of yours? You radiate different energy now, maybe you have different powers as well? Do what we usually tell senshi to do when they need to act in the first time. Focus on your power and try if words start coming into your mind," she offered and turned to look at the cat-monster again.
"I can cover you if anything happens."

Snowball nodded when he noticed he was being talked to. He nodded at Khayman. "I didn't think it was." He replied as he looked towards the now Sailor-Kitty again. "I hope she can do something more than we can."
He nodded when the other offered his scarf. "Perhaps we should attempt to tie his feet if we can catch them as well?" The white cat's tail was flickering as he thought about it. "Keep him from getting up again?"

It was perhaps just as well that he wasn't the only cat attempting to distract the cat monster as it meant that Liryn hadn't ended up being the sole focus of the thing. It didn't stop him from getting a kitty work out as he worked on trying to be a distraction while at the same time doing his best to keep ahead of any claw swipes sent in his direction.
It was therefore something of a relief when the monster finally stumbled and fell hitting the ground.
And then a sudden glow caught his attention, one that made him forget sore paw pads, his purplish eyes glancing around distracted as his senses picked up on first a new aura and then the mauvian sailor.
It was probably just as well that the cat monster was also staring at the mauvian sailor, albeit most likely with a lot less wide-eyed fascination given that Liryn was so busy staring at the mauvian sailor that he momentarily stopped keeping track of said cat monster.

Honestly, Ash didn't know what to do in this whole situation. So many cats all over the place, trying to figure out what to with the monster that now confronted him. She could tell it wasn't a youma, but that didn't make it easier to deal with... if anything, it hinted that it might still be a person, and that was worrying. To top things off, there was no way the burmilla was going to get into the fray with it, not with the pain in her leg, and she was not going to make some weapon to hurt it with, either.
Which pretty much left Ash pacing back and forth making distressed kitten noises without realizing it, her eyes trained on the monster and the cats around it. At least... until a flash of light and a change in power signature heralded a change in *********. The sailor suited girl that had replaced the humanoid cat was startling and Ash slowed to a stop to stare in interest, her ears perked forward.
She had heard, and now seen, that guardians could take human form... but this, this was new...

As the light of Horatio's forehead beam hit the monster, the sizzle of hair(fur) could be heard, and the creature stumbled back momentarily from the force. However it was no youma, so the beam brought little more then minor pain to the creature before it reasserted itself. Only to be hit again with a shard of glass, and then stumble and fall as the many cats trying to distract it managed to trip him up. A loud groan and hiss escaped the downed monster, however he wasn't completely out. It didn't need to be on it's feet to fight. Many cats had been brave enough to be come near it in an attempt to distract it and as one cat tried it again, the creature was able to reach out and grab her, claws digging into the struggling Guardian. She didn't have time to cry out for help once teeth were added to the claws and tight grasp, and when the poor Guardian went limp the monster finally tossed the lifeless body aside, before clawing out at it's next target, shakingly pushing itself up into a crouch in preparation to pounce. One of their own dead. The situation was dire. Something HAD to be done.Quote: A) Try to make a 'weapon' to kill the monster. B) Try to make an 'item' to save the monster. gaia_star D) Attempt something elseThe notion that her mask had given her senshi abilities really seemed to be stretching it in the silvery haired Mauvian's mind, but that was mostly because she knew the original intent of the device she was wearing over the bridge of her nose. However, the fact her form had taken on the appearance of a senshi was certainly hint enough that maybe there was more to this form than she intended.
"...I can't ask the others to do this because... well... they aren't big enough to take on this task... but Cora, would you be willing to try and restrain our little friend over there..."
If she had anything in her, it would probably be easier if she didn't have to deal with a moving target. Her mouth twitched unhappily as a fellow Mauvian fell in the line of duty.
"...please... before anything like that can happen again..."
With that, Sailor ********* attempted to clear her mind and focus upon the monster. What was causing this monster to act this way? What ailment did it suffer from? What was the source?
...and what could she do to help?

Thetis had never been in a battle before so when he heard a thump beside him from outside of ********* hat, the curious cat slowly lifted it up to see what it was. Instantly, the small cat regretted his decision as his green eyes laid upon the now dead guardian cat. He didn't need to imagine what he had happened, nor did he want to.
He'd seen this guardian cat before but they'd never ever spoken. Thetis didn't even know her name. He wished he had spoken to her before, he wished he had gotten to know what kind of guardian cat she was, he wished he had more memories of her that could outweigh the one he was currently living. Did she have a senshi back home waiting for her? How long would they wait for her before realizing something terrible happened? Would they ever?
This was horrible.
Small tears were forming in the corner of Thetis' eyes as the thoughts all weighed down on him and he even considered the thought that his own senshi wouldn't even care if he died here today. He had been gone so long, would even Addison notice? She was growing up so fast, did she even need him anymore? He shook his head, tears knocking themselves out of his eyes.
He couldn't think like that!
He slid out from under ********* hat and lowered his head, using it to softly nuzzle the dead guardian cat's head. He couldn't just leave her like this, dead and forgotten in a battle. He wouldn't be like that! There were enough cats to fight the cat beast, or solve the problem, so he would do what he could here.
Hopefully ********* would forgive him for he began to move further and further away from the hat. He used his little body to slowly move the dead guardian cat over by a nearby tree. It was hard, and he truly wished he had some hands right about now. He couldn't ask ********* to help him, she was busy and he had to prove he could do it himself! Once making it to the tree, he nudged her into a presentable position so that it appeared that she was simply sleeping. He preferred this reality, although he knew it wasn't true. This wasn't enough though, and after finding his torn ribbon on the ground where the catbeast had denied it, he carried it over to her and laid it upon her. He couldn't tie it in a bow without any hands but he tried to wrap it loosely around her neck.
"I'm sorry I can't do more."
Did he have the heart to go back to the battle? Did he have the courage? He didn't want to abandon them just like he didn't want to abandon this guardian cat on the battle field but he was also scared. He didn't have a lot of experience like ********* did to keep him calm and focused, and he lacked the courage many of the other guardian cats did.
"What should I?" He asked with no one around to hear him but his deceased companion.

D) Attempt something else
Cora's expression saddened when she saw the Mauvian losing her life. This was terrible! They had to do something and quick!
"I will try my best," the cream-haired cat girl promised to her manx friend who had asked her to restrain the monster. When she pondered of how she would do that, scratching her cheek lightly, her expression was more or less concerned but in the same time rather focused too. Maybe she could try the trick she has used on Benitoite, back when he had been just a lieutenant? This monster looked tougher than he had been though which made Cora a bit unsure would this work. But still, it was worth to try.
Cora transformed back into her kitty form, hoping that in this form she wasn't attracting so much attention. Quickly she ran behind the monster, careful to not get in the way of others. A moment she prepared before bouncing to a leap towards the monster, turning back into her cat girl form again in the mid-air. Her ams wrapped around the creature, trying to hold him still as firmly as she could with her delicate hands. "Please, don't be afraid," she said softly, nudging her cheek gently against his body while purring loudly, hoping it would calm him, even just a little. "Everything is going to be alright. I promise."

The death of one of their own made Ash's eyes widen, a roil of emotions running through her. There were so few of them... the death of one was a heavy toll for them all. As anger and loss swelled in her, the burmilla could not stand back any longer. What little she could so, she would, and hang the consequences.
Limping forward as fast as she could, ignoring the jolts up her legs, Ash positioned herself in a clear line with the beast and summoned up the only weapon she had... The star on her forehead glowed as the power built and then it flashed as the stun beam burst forth and slammed into the monster. One beam had already been used, but maybe one more could help slow it down, make it easier for whatever ********* was doing with that new outfit while her friend held the monster down.
Exhausted, Ash sank down to the park's grass, panting with her lips pulled back from her little fangs. This had to work... it just had to. She had nothing else to give.

Quote: D) Attempt something else - kitty beam At the sound of the loud his Liryn's attention was suddenly and abruptly drawn back to the downed cat monster, purplish eyes widening as things seemed to unfold almost in slow motion but in reality all too quickly, staring in horror as the small cat body dropped lifeless from the thing's claws. As the thing moved to crouch, purplish eyes stared at the monster in determination, he had to do something - had to buy time. His jade forehead star started to glow. The kitty beam was not something to be used lightly and super tiring to use. But he had, he felt a clear shot and if not now, then when? Especially with a fellow guardian cat dead by the things claws. Focusing on the monster, Liryn shot his own beam at the thing and as tiredness started to sink into his paws and into his cat bones, he hoped that it would be enough to buy some much needed time.
