Rayolun looked around as the call to retreat was given. With a sigh he gestured for Lasarra and her friend to leave, "Guess that's it. Looks like those beasts did their job of carving our numbers down and allowing them to bring in more people. Let's get out of here before they capture more." He said with a glare at the ranks approaching them. he wanted to go in the rescue the leaders.. but there were too many between him and them.. and he had Lasarra to keep an eye on!

Running through the trees he kept guard on the back to make sure they weren't too close. The much smaller camp, now mostly gone with only a few tents left, told him that the healers and wounded had already mostly retreated. His back hurt, and was still bleeding slightly, so he ducked into one to grab some bandages and wash it out quickly.

Okay so they had to retreat, that didn't mean they lost the war. It was just one battle. Wars could have many battles in them right? Well it didn't matter at that second, all that mattered was that she needed to get to her family. She rushed as soon as she could and started to search the tents for her husband, daughters and brother.

The first person she found was Ikkio, but why was her daughter not with her father or her twin? She frowned slightly and than hurried over. "Ikkio come on, we're moving. We need to find your father and your sister." she smiled at the two others in the tent. "Thank you for watching over my daughter, I'm sure she was very helpful." or at least that was what Zuri expected of her little trouble maker. She was a trouble maker all right, but she was also very smart and capable of being helpful when she wanted.

So much was happening, people were taking her hands and adults were moving so fast. She wanted her father or her sister. Before she knew it one of the shifter twins, she was pretty sure his name was Aysun, was telling his brother to grab her hand even though her hands were full with Samoset's and Kennet's she was going to figure out what to do when all of a sudden she was being picked up. At first she was scared but than she realized that it was Samoset's and Kennet's father and her moms friend! This was good, he would know where her family was.

Everyone was talking again and Kennet was suggesting they leave the other set of twins. "We shouldn't separate..." she said quietly before turning to Yaholo. "Did you see my mommy Zuri out there?" she asked curiously. He had fought to, so if anything had happened to her mother he would know... Right? And Kennet was right, they needed to find her sister. Maybe Ikkio was with one of her parents!

Rishima Post ?

It was... over? They were calling for a retreat and everyone was to follow the order, it just wasn't one that he had epxected to hear. He had thought that they were doing well... but maybe that was what he had been thinking because he hadn't gotten too scratched up? Looking around now, forcing himself to leave his hyper vigilant battle mode, he could see the damage that others had taken. There were many hurt and dead on both sides... and two of the three giant beasts were still moving. He gritted his teeth, antennae laying back in an annoyed manner, before he set to looking around. It was a smart order even if he didn't care for it. This would be quite the blow to his sisters, to be forced to retreat by some invading Earthlings. He would need to find Jerarda, see how she was faring both mentally and physically.

Before her though he had to find Gerraden, in the heat of the battle, when those monsters attacked, he'd lost track of him. Damn it, he was supposed to be looking after him he though tot himself, looking from side to side, before he finally spotted him. He looked to have been roughed up a bit... something that caused his mismatched eyes to fill with worry as he hurried forward toward where his fellow warrior was, "Gerraden? Hey... are you alright? Come on, put your arm around me, I will help you back to camp." He said, wrapping his own arm around the other man's waist, hoping to keep him up right, "Seems it's time for us to retreat to safety... let's get going." He said, taking a couple swing here and there with his weapon as he helped Gerraden away from the dangerous Obans.

There was so much chaos behind them and even more ahead of them, it would appear as though the camp where the healers had stayed behind was in retreat mode as well? He glanced over at Gerraden, then toward those who were retreating before he said, "Try to hold on, alright? I will find you a healer as soon as possible." Since it seemed as though they were retreating as well it might be a little difficult to do but he'd try his best. He told Gerraden he'd keep him safe after all and now was the time for him to do just that!

Although Finnley didn't mean to shirk back from his voice but the sharpness in it startled her. His face was soft but it still didn't take the sharpness out of his voice. "I-I understand. I guess since we're...retreating when we g-get wherever we're going I should try to find my family as it seems you b-both need to find yours. Vi-viveka I can help this guy if you need to look for someone..." She took more of the injured man's weight who was more conscious now and walking somewhat on his own now. She avoided each of their gazes, afraid of their situation and for everyone really.

[Biroki]

Biroki was on the move, assisting with his patients, and, he would be ashamed to admit later, he hadn't thought - really thought - about his daughters. Frankly, though, they tended to get in and out of trouble and there were adults enough around. Plus, Ikkio was with Ikuri, which would keep her out of trouble.

And then he saw Ikuri NOT with her sister and he began to worry. At least she was with a friend.
"Yaholo." he said, giving the man a tired smile. It was good to see that his family friend was all right... and also that he wasn't the only one stupid enough to let his children loose in a war camp. Haha. "Thank the gods you're safe... And... I see you found Ikuri..." he gave the girl a distracted pat on the head, his attention momentarily distracted by a crisis-he-had-to-deal with. "Yaholo, c-could you keep an eye on her for me? Please?" he asked. He knew it was a big favor - he already had two of his own, and others with him, even, but... Biroki had to keep going.
"And... I know its a little much... But could you see if you can find Ikkio too? And... Zuri?" he swallowed, "Its just... I haven't seen her and..." the crisis-he-needed-to-deal-with became something he needed to deal with urgently - he could tell by the prentice's yelp. He glanced over and winced. "I... I'll owe you one. M-more than one..." he glanced over again. "E-excuse me..." he darted over to help the prentice under his command with the patient.

He doubted that Yaholo would refuse to help. Yaholo was a good man, and Biroki could think of no better person to keep an eye on his family. In fact, just asking Yaholo for the favor set his mind at ease, and he managed to handle the situation well.

Of course, a new one arose because that was the way of leadership. He had a feeling that he would be one of the last ones out, with all the managing of healers and patients. But he couldn't just stop. He was tired, but stopping was just not an option.

Chalcedony: Post ?

The call for retreat was something that was a bit of a shocker in a way, mostly because he wasn't quite sure exactly what that meant. Retreat... wouldn't that mean that they were giving up ground to the enemy? How would they retake it? They had lost many good warriors today after all... and yet that was what they were being told to do. He took a couple steps forward toward the directions that the others were heading... when he realized that two brunettes in particular weren't obeying the call. Instead they were seemed as though the order didn't suit them. Jacinthus, he couldn't say he was surprised there. He'd been there when Jacin had his first run in with those from Oba after all. He wouldn't just give up. Keilana... she was hardheaded, she might be too into the battle to even have heard the call.

He took another step forward, floundered, then back again, over to where they were, grabbing hold of Keilana first and the Jacinthus, "Why is it I feel like I am the only mature one here." He muttered to himself, dragging the two of them along, back toward the camp, "Come on! We have to get to the boys, to my family, make sure that everyone gets out of there. We will deal with these people later." It irked him that they were forced to retreat and allow the invaders the win on this day but he had to do this, had to mvoe these two, had to protect them so that they could all fight another day.

As he looked around he realized something, someone was... missing. He blinked a couple times before he started to hurry just a bit faster, asking of the two of them, "Where is Takoda? Do you see him?" He had been in the back row, out of Chal's sight, when the monsters attacked. He had no idea where he might be... and that worried him. He knew that Takoda wasn't his, that he shouldn't worry about him, and yet he did. Old feelings creeping up he supposed but he couldn't help it. The guy was missing and it worried him!

Jacinthus Post ?

Jacinthus was out right ignoring the call for retreat, instead just taking more shots at those from Oban. The fact that they were being told to retreat was a foolish order. They should fight! They couldn't just let them take what didn't belong to them! They were nothing but cowards that hid behind monsters and hostages, not someone that he would lose to! Surely the elders knew that this was an awful move? If they retreated they would be losing land to them, more of their people, what if they started to attack the villages where unarmed people were at? It was something that he couldn't abide by!

Of course even as he thought this, even as he continued to fight something suddenly grabbed him, dragging him along, throwing off his aim. It took him a moment to realize who it was, "Augh... you... why are you..." He trailed off when he saw his sister, giving her a once over even as he was dragged backwards, "Little Kei? How are you? Are you hurt very badly?" He asked in a rush, forgetting for a moment that he was being pulled along by one of his least favorite people in the world. He hated that Chalcedony would force him to retreat. He was there, he knew what sort of people these Obans were, they were a lot that shouldn't be allowed to have this victory! They would just continue to stomp all over Tendaji with those monsters of theirs and kill innocent people! How he hated their tribe...

As Chalcedony started to ask about Takoda he had a moment where he wanted to hit the guy, angry that he was asking about his mate... though as he looked around he realized that Takoda was nowhere to be seen. Last he'd seen him was when those giant monsters had started to flail about, separating the two of them. He'd thought that the Healer would have fallen back, he wasn't a fighter after all... but as he looked around at their broken ranks he couldn't spot him anywhere. It was something that sent a chill through his body, "Where... where is he...?" He murmured, turning from side to side, panic filling him now. He couldn't see him anywhere... which meant that he could be anywhere... if those Oban scum had hurt him, if they had kidnapped him, he would end all of them starting with their king!
