NPC Elder Council milla smiled "yea yea i know you did a good job of that" she said before hearing the footsteps of the creature as it approached the tree "how do they keep finding this place" she thought to herself as the tree began to shake just as Volpeo was going to grab her he disappeared she walked over to the window directly above where the mechanical like being was, "great...please send three element kitsunes to fight and 2 swordsmen that should be enough...if not ill intervene" she said as she began to walk away heading to the stairs when she did no one would find her. the moment the man in bushes would blink she would appear behind the beast, five kitsunes jumped down from the tree surrounding it "if you strike that tree again you will most likely lose your life..and if you are indeed even a part of an animal..of which you look then you can understand us" she told him her face serious as she stared at it waiting for it to make a move

The shadowy figure continued to watch from the brush. The man watched as the kitsunes descended from their tree and surrounded his mechanical beast. He was quite pleased with their reaction time but of course he expected them to do so. So far the foxes actions were only proving that his earlier hypotheses were indeed correct. However he still had so many unanswered questions. The man thought he would put his theories to the test. He knew that he would probably lose his beast in the process but it was a small price to pay for valuable research data. Besides his creature was only a tool and nothing more. With a simple twitch of his finger the beast released a terrifying roar. Oddly enough it sounded as if the creature was in pain. Afterwards the creature rushed towards the female kitsune, who seemed to be leading the others. Once the beast reached its target it stood upon his hind legs, which easily made the beast surpass the woman in height. The creature raised its claws into the air and prepared to strike the woman. . It was very subtle but if the woman's eyes were keen she would have noticed thin black treads embedded within the creatures back.
"Let us see how she reacts?" The man said to himself.
the one thing i love about kitsunes almost impossible for them to not sense you hehe
NPC Elder Council Milla looked at the creature as it turned around and went at her only to stand tall infront of her, to her it wasn't anything to be scared of, when the creature rose its claws in the air two kitsune swordsman dashed infront of her, she ramained where she was, taking notice to the threads in the back, "a pain inflicted roar...strings in your bak..i believe that something is wrong with this picture..." she thought to herself. the one mistake that the man did was speak when kitsunes were around, the fact he spoke to himself allowed her to hear his voice, it was not just that her keen sense of smell caught onto him the exact same moment "why dont you just come out instead of hiding in the brush over there..." she said outloud not facing him. "if you dont ill drag you out myself" she added the kitsune that were infront of her with the swords were ready t block the attack the bear would give the other three had their elements formed upon their arms read to use them
"Elder!" Volpeo shout as soon as they appeared at the top of the tree. The dining hall was empty, with the obvious attack on the tree, no one should keep themselves inside save for children, but even they had a special vault to keep them safe. Volpeo searched for Milla regardles, even bellow the tables. "She's not here, we must find the Elder!" Replied Volpeo running around the room while looking in every corner before returning to face Kohaku. "We must keep her safe!" He explained as if it was a matter of life and death. Then a threatening roar would echo it's way up to the tree which made Volpeo worry. "Elder!" He shouted once more trying to contact her or at least locate her. However as soon as he was about to dash out of the window, a protective field bounced him back for he couldn't leave Kohaku alone in foreign territory. As part of the contract he was bound to look out for her, especially during times like this when he sensed danger.
As Volpeo looked around frantically, Kohaku tried to find them in her own way by using her heightened sense. She listened carefully, trying to feel out the people they were looking for until a threatening roar echoed. Volpeo near immediately tried to jump out the window. "If we're going to jump out of a window down who knows how far, let me at least put a protective barrier between us." Kohaku insisted as she performed a quick kagura. The slightly glimmering barrier was clearly seen and she nodded satisfied. "Alright, let's go!" she said, jumping out the window before he did.
Spells/Powers: + Kagura – Kohaku performs a few hand signals that will allow her to do one of three things: - Surround herself with a magical energy. Performing this version will heal her (or others). - Gain a momentary defensive barrier. It will withstand a few hits before it dispels. - Gain a significant attack boost (Only lasts about 5 posts). + Spirit Familiar - Kohaku can summon a spirit familiar (usually a fox) to come to her aid. The familiar only lasts for a limited period of time (10 to 15 posts). + Healing - Kohaku can restore living things to their optimal health, curing broken or withered plants, wounds, broken bones, and low vitality. She can’t raise the dead. + Nature Manipulation - Kohaku can control/tap into elements of nature, including air, fire, water, earth, etc. Her strength is in water and ice. Use of other elements will quickly exhaust her. + Light energy - Kohaku can manipulate light and attack opponents with concentrated balls or beams of light energy. It's rather weak but good for melee.
Volpeo wasn't amused with being caged in the tree, however once Kohaku casted the barrier around them and jumped from the window, Volpeo followed right behind her, wondering why he couldn't jump out the first time. "Elder!" Said the kitsune once he spotted Milla facing the beast along with a light squad of kitsunes ready to defend her. "Elder, thank goodness you are okay!" He said, sighing in relief to found out she was just fine.
Even though the metallic beast was ready to strike the creature lowered its claws and settled down. The odd creature watched the Kitsunes passively as if it lost its independent will. A slight chuckle could have been heard from the rustling bushes. The mysterious man had been discovered but he had anticipated that the Kitsunes would find him. From the bushes a man emerged, who concealed his true identity with a metal mask and a blood red cloak.
Even though the man was a mystery he was still recognizable. If the Kitsune knew anything about the witches council, she might have known of the man. The mysterious man was none other than Karthus Valdosa. Not only was Karthus revered for being a genius but he was also one the lead members of the witches council.
"You Kitsunes are truly interesting creatures. I must say your kind has lived up to my expectations so far." He said casually in a muffled voice.
Karthus watched the female Kitsune, who appeared to be in charge. Afterwards he shifted his sight on the other kitsunes in attendance.
"You kitsunes have proven to be a rather difficult specimen to track down. But now I have eight wonderful specimen before me. I was only planning on capturing two of you but with all eight of you I could double my research." He said confidently.
The portal opened at midway point of the tree. Inferno came out of it with envy sitting on his back. searching threw his shirt he found a small bamboo stick that his uncle created. it turned into a large glider. but it slid out of his hand but it still could catch roslyn adn hikaru. he fell face first with envy still sitting on his back. feeling the relief of envy getting off of his back he then pushed himself up to his knee's where he began cracking his hands then his back then his kneck suprisingly alot of cracking sounds were made. "So how are you liking your first trip to the nether world. "I...hate..you."
Hikaru and Roslyn emerge from the portal just in time to see Inferno and surprisingly Envy. "I thought Inferno finished you! What are you doing here?" Hikaru didn't summon his weapon but he kept his guard up. "Can we please just find your sister and leave Inferno. I'm not even sure demon weapons are allowed in the Netherworld." "Great...where are we? Breaking in and entering just ain't my style. We going to get a move on or is Envy going to beat up Inferno? I'm way too tired to be dealing with this nonsense right now." Roslyn looked around but couldn't find anyone. She was surprised this was the Netherworld because from what she heard i was a lot more different, unless they were in someone else's realm.
"He's our ticket back, and he's not here to fight me. since i sucked him into my shadow he's my puppet......i've done this before." he said to him as he got up. he turned to see a metalic man and told envy to "stay and make sure nothing happens. we don't need anything horrible happening." he said as he walked away. towards demon city leaving envy here. "Okay......jerk." he said as he sat on a rock and watched from a distance.
for some reason when you mention witches council it reminds me of the group one of my characters is being hunted by

NPC Elder Council Milla turned and looked at Volpeo and a new girl "i was wandering where you went" she said her face wasnt in a joking mood of course since the creature and now the man who began to walk out in a mask. she turned and faced him. in all fairness she knew who he was but it wasn't from rumors or such, its from her ability to use time. "if i remember correctly you are a man named Karthus Valdosa...or something its a mouthful..i dont know who you are but attacking this sacred tree is treason among demons..even those who border this land see it that way as well" she told him in response it was something that needed to be said. before she would respond to his words "that im afraid will not happen..." she told him "no one is leaving with you..you are leaving now..and alone..dont make the same mistake again like your creature"
"This is getting out of hand Roslyn...we should probably head back." "Why, are you afraid of following?" "Its not that. Humans aren't supposed to be in the Netherworld. We can't save the girl, you'll just have to trust me on this." "Thats all nice and dandy but exactly how are we going to get back...?" "We'll go this way then.
"Well it's a long story... or short one, since I really didn't take long before convincing her to bring me here." Said Volpeo, despite being himself the one who made things difficult for the shrine maiden to bring him back to the tree. Yet as soon as this, Karthus guys spoke about capture a kitsune, or eight so far, he immediately jumped in front of Milla to act as a shield not that she would need one, but that wouldn't take his nobles intentions from being performed. "You will not lay a hand on Elder! I would beat you to scraps before you even step in front of her!" Sentenced Volpeo in short, since he wouldn't let anyone take Elder's precious life. Taking his prideful display aside, Volpeo didn't knew who Valdosa was, this he was lightly uneasy as to what to expect, since he missed most of the drama the other creature had played a while ago when he was staying with Kohaku. None the less, that would not keep him from fighting. At any rate, Milla would be the one who speak with Valdosa as to discuss the therms of Karthus retreat, being it by peaceful acts or through Violence. Kohaku on the other hand would see the kitsunes within their homelands and how their society had evolved through ages. Perhaps it was the first time she observed how they behave in combat while in the wild? Or maybe she was already use to it? After all she had grown up with a kitsune familiar for who knows how long.

What a creep. Kohaku thought though she didn't let it show on the outside. She wondered who this person was that was so bold to step into foreign territory as if it were his own. "Don't even think about it." Kohaku said as she took stance. She didn't know if she could do much t help the kitsunes, but she would surely try her best. Even if all she could do was heal them if it led to a fight, at least she was useful.

"My,my is this how you Kitsunes typically treat your guest?" Karthus said sarcastically. "You are correct my dear. My name is Karthus Valdosa and if you already know that then I am sure you already know that your threats have no effect on me. I am not here to satisfy your primal urge to fight but get in my way and I assure you it will be the last thing you ever do. I am here for one reason only and that's to collect a living specimen. You Kitsunes are a rather rare and elusive species. I wish to add your kind to my collection." Karthus said in a muffled voice.
Karthus pointed towards his creature.
"My puppet was nothing more than a simple Ursa demon at one point but look at it know. With my intellect and the ingenuity of science, he has been reborn. My puppet no longer craves food, warmth, water, and most importantly it has been stripped of all emotions. I have made it into the perfect creature and I wish to do the same with your kind. I can replace your futile organs with machines that will never fail you. Oh yes I have plans for your kind my dear. With my machines and your natural abilities you will become a fine piece for my collection."
Feint chuckles could be heard from underneath Karthus's mask. The mechanical creature Karthus was controlling suddenly stood up and growled. The beast looked as if it was ready for battle once more. A sense of anger flooded Karthus when a Kitsune jumped in front of the elder to defy him.
"Don't you dare raise your voice to me child. How predictable of you. You are allowing your emotions to cloud your judgment. You are so quick to defend this women that you have not yet realized the danger you are in. Alas your words carry some truth in them I suppose. I won't be taking away your elder today. I fear your race will collapse without her. Besides I need her to nurture future Kitsunes for my plans. However you on the other hand are expendable. But rest assured after I perform and perfected my research I will come for your precious elder." Karthus would have continued but a young women interrupted him.
"Silence child. I have no time for you foolish games. As a matter of fact I have wasted enough time as it is."
Karthus stared at the three Kitsunes casters. Karthus gently tapped his foot on the ground and summoned three spiked pillars, which surrounded the three caster. The spiked pillars were curved and almost looked like claws. The runes embedded inside the pillars illumined with a bright light. Within seconds the a flash of light erupted from the pillars location and the three Kitsunes were gone.
