 Myria O'Conner ❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈ Instead of going through the window, this time Myria walked through the school. She walked very quickly and kept glancing behind her as if to make sure Lucy was still there. She wasn't sure whether to be disappointed or somewhat excited when she kept seeing the woman, though as she got closer to the cafeteria, she got more nervous.. A feeling which only grew worse when she turned a corner and saw Cortez and Vivian standing outside of the cafeteria, especially since they seemed to be playing with some weird energy. She grimaced inwardly and slowly walked towards them, making sure to make a lot of noise so they knew she was coming. Considering who they were.. She didn't want to surprise them. Not that she thought she could surprise Vivian. The other girl seemed to keep too close a watch on her.. The science teacher was another matter altogether. She stopped in front of them, then muttered, "Hey Cortez.. Some woman out in the woods came by saying she's your sister.. Said her name's Lucy..?" As soon as she said that, she took a couple steps away from him and lowered her head, watching him warily through her bangs. She honestly didn't think a few steps would help if he decided to destroy her, but it made her feel a little better. ❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈❇❈

 Cortez Maj______________________________________________ Cortez looked at Vivian and nodded saying, "Alright, I hope this person isn't a danger to the school." He sighed, looking towards the school for quite a bit, reminiscing on his old memories. He kept thinking about them, until he heard the apparent sound of Myria's voice talking to him. Mainly what he caught was, some women that says she's his sister and her name is Lucy. His eyes widened a bit at the last part, saying with an exasperated tone, "How... How did... My sist..sis. sister survive that explosion? There's no way she could have... My gear destroys everything, and it was very destructive that day... Unless my gear wasn't formed enough to actually perform a complete destruction of her gear, which would make sense, but how she was hear now must mean that her gear has some sort of healing/regeneration power to it." He looked toward the wall, punching it in slightly. He was not angry, nor was he sad; he was confused. ()

Lucy stepped into Cortez's view as he tried to figure out how she could be alive. "My gear healed me," she said, confirming his theory. "It took five years, but my gear put me back together. It was...unpleasant." She sighed. "Sorry I didn't come to you earlier to let you know I survived."

She looked at Lucy when the other teacher showed up, then shook her head slightly. They did resemble each other.. But how could it be possible if he had killed her? Cortez Maj______________________________________________ Cortez sighed and laid his head onto the wall. Then he looked over to see Myria pouting slightly. After letting his thoughts run through his head, he walked over to Lucy and hugged her, saying very quietly to her, "I'm so sorry... I'll let you punch me a few times so you can at least have some payback." He kept a firm hug and then looked over to Myria saying, "What are you pouting about?"()

Lucy hugged Cortez back and nodded a bit. "Normally, I wouldn't agree to hit anyone, but I think I need to," she said quietly. "I know you didn't mean to hurt me, but I can't seem to stop feeling a bit mad at you." She looked up at his face. "It's weird seeing you at this age. I was older than you before, but now you're a few years older than me. It's odd."

Now that was something she would definitely love to see. Her smirk vanished and she scowled at him before loudly saying, "I'm not pouting at all!" Then she glared at him. Normally, she would make some rude gesture, but this was Cortez she was talking to.. Cortez Maj______________________________________________ Cortez smirked at Lucy's answer and said, "Well, I do understand; you were always a person that was slightly gentle and yeah, the five years of healing must have taken 3-4 years off of your lifespan. It should help you a little. I could even attempt to erase the memory." He hugged her and then looked toward Myria with a slight grin saying, "Alright Myria, haha, you have spunk then. Just keep glaring since that it pretty much the only way you will get away with not liking me, haha."()

Lucy thought about what Cortez said. "That makes sense," she said. "I couldn't exactly age without a body. And you can't erase my memory of it, no matter how hard you try. My gear would perceive that as damage caused by another gear, so it would make me remember it. I found that out a while ago, when I asked someone else to erase my memories. And I don't think forgetting would help, anyway. I've learned to deal with it by now."

But the only other thing she could really do was cross her arms over her chest. "Yea, well, eventually that'll change." After continuing to glare for a minute, she reluctantly looked around the hallway, then frowned as she realized Vivian was being unusually quiet.. It was a bit disturbing, but not much. Cortez Maj______________________________________________ Cortez looked at Lucy, nodding since he thought that might have been the case about the memory. He said, "Yeah, I thought that might have been the case, but I at least said I could attempt, haha. We'll catch up soon, alright?" He looked at Myria and Vivian seeing that they were very quiet, so he stated obviously, "Sheesh, it's like a peanut gallery here, why are you two so quiet?" He thought to himself, returning his look at his sister, She really has changed... I hardly recognized her since I haven't seen a face like that in several years. She looks a lot like how she was in high-school before I got hit, but she seems like she got a tiny bit older, like 26 or something.()

Instead, she contented herself with snapping, "Like I have anything to say to you!" The longer she stayed, the more irritated she was probably going to get.. Especially since she would rather be outside. But she was going to stay, simply because she was curious. She frowned and looked at Vivian in surprise. "Her gear is what?" she glanced at Lucy and her brother, then looked at Vivian again. Now she really had something to be interested in.. Before he left he looked at Vivian and smiled before saying, "It's because my sister is a very unique and caring person." He snapped his finger and vanished instantly leaving a note on the ground saying, "Sorry, I have to fix something." ()

She didn't even blink and just muttered under her breath, "Good riddance.." She looked down at his note, then looked around the hallway. There wasn't really any reason for her to stay.. She glanced sideways at Vivian and quietly said, "I'm leaving too." Then she turned and walked away. She hoped she wouldn't get called back, but it wasn't likely.. Unless something happened. She kinda wanted to get out of the school for a while, so she headed for the entrance.
