Lex was down and out, fully blacked out by all the paralyzing and the whipping and the scything. He should have let well enough alone - should have kept working on the house.
Stupid sexy Otto.

Leon could not feel his anything anymore. Nothing but sadness and and void of light and color. But he would never blame dear sweet Otto not even when it was him that tried to metaphorically rip his heart out.
Just give him one of your hats as a memento and all will be fine, Otto.

Otto stared long and hard at Al. "No. No, no touching the Otto." Why was he sticking around this place anyway? Especially since Caelius wanted to put him in a tank to be observed. Otto decided to ******** it and ran out the door, headed for God knows where. It's a big island. Surely there was some place to hide.

Unfortunately before any escaping could happen, it seemed like both leaders had finally decided on a sort of final showdown moment, as the part where they did the mating ritual in order to claimed their prized possession was way over-expired and had essentially been skipped for the part where they attempted to murder each other and everyone else in a spectacle of flashy weapons and cafeteria tables.
So far it was sort of working.
At the same moment however, Caelius unleashed what, if Allan were here, would call a bankai attack, H decided the only way to make this any more bearable was to counterattack with the same. And so, not only was the floor covered in glowing blue runes that knocked lesser Hunter off their feet, the ceiling and walls were also now covered in spikes that now knocked lesser Hunters off their feet and then sort of tried to impale others. All-in-all this would have make George Lucas angry at his special effects team for not doing the same or better in the Indiana Jones and the Crystal Aliens What The ******** Was He Thinking movie.
The effect also was terrible because both charged attacks had exactly opposite abilities. One was made for space and the other for time, well not really, but as one force pushed Hunters one direction and the other pushed Hunters the other direction, the result of way too much peacocking at once finally collapsed the unstable cafeteria as both the ceiling and the floor caved in, twisted upon itself, and formed several, hundreds of tiny little portals.
Tiny little portals that were more than happy to suck everyone in including Otto.
And it was at that point, after everyone else had gotten sucked into the vortexes (plural) of space and time (theoretically) that both the Life and Death leads for once in their very long lives came to the simultaneous conclusion that they were at least satisfied because if they couldn't have Otto, nobody could. Truce discovered, they both went back to their Lairs to most likely polish artifacts and do science: one or the other, not both.
And then the cafeteria as everyone left, finally just crumbled in sad ruins, kitchen and all. It would be long, long days before everything was cleaned up and a temporary fix was made, which pretty much meant no tea, no coffee, and canned goods for everyone. OOC: THE EXIT - ALL PLAYERS HAVE GOTTEN SUCKED INTO A RANDOM PORTAL! ROLL 1d6 to see where you land! RP out your exit! - Even after you have escaped and made it back to main Deus, all you feel for the next few days as you sleep are dreams of longing for your beloved. 1: You end up about a mile away from the Lighthouse portal. You'll have to swim back! If you are paralyzed, you sort of just float back and hope nothing spots you. 2: You end up in the middle of the Deus jungle portion. It takes you half a day to navigate back home 3: You end up in the Underwater Observatory. It seems people have forgotten about it, and you get locked in for a good half a day before someone finds you. 4: You for some reason, end up in Allan's closet. The closet he uses to keep action figures and costumes in. Thankfully Allan finds you a few hours later, and then makes you watch One Piece with him for the next few hours. 5: You black out end up in the dorms bathtub covered in ice. Wait a second they didn't....6: You end up on the training fields, because you seriously lucked out.

On one hand, getting sent to an underwater observatory with no escape sucked a lot. It was terrifying, as thoughts of dying hungry and alone crossed his mind one too many times; the dark and eerie atmosphere, the silence that forced him to face his own terrible thoughts. On the upside, it was solitude he desperately desired. Away from the prying eyes and desperate attempts to court him were far behind him. So Otto sat for the better part of the day. Occasionally he watched with mild intrigue at the passing creatures he could see under the water. Other times he'd pace around uncomfortably and dwell on his mortality. Most times, he napped. Evenutally, he was rescued, though he looked worse for wear, and terribly chilly as Charlotte had stolen his hoodie during the cafeteria fiasco. The next few days were spent alone, locked in his room, trying to avoid contact with the rest of Deus until he was sure he was safe from more 'suiters'. He never looked at anyone in the eyes ever again. Quote: 3: You end up in the Underwater Observatory. It seems people have forgotten about it, and you get locked in for a good half a day before someone finds you.

Luckily for Otto, Shiloh was still KO'd when his body fell through one of the portals, and he stayed much the same way on arrival, making him an altogether quieter and less fawning bunk mate in the Underwater Observatory. Shiloh came to to an empty room, and the door swinging open. Rubbing his head, he gingerly stood and hobbled his way back to his room. Had that really all just happened? OOC: THE EXIT 3: You end up in the Underwater Observatory. It seems people have forgotten about it, and you get locked in for a good half a day before someone finds you.

Lawr missed the end of chaos fortunately for him, unfortunately for him he found himself sucked into a portal.
The chill of the sea was enough to start him awake, and almost before he was concious he was swimming back towards the distant shore. He wasn't sure what it was with fate constantly and repeatly bringing him and the sea together but he wished with everything he was that it would damn well stop.
He might not have been physically strong, but if there was one thing he had in spades, it was the wiry determination of a rat swimming from a sinking ship. He wasn't going to die today. He'd lament the loss of Otto to other meaner bigger guys later. And then would be disgusted at himself even later than that, when he came back to his senses.
