"Dreams?" The demon thought a moment, eating the food set before him before purring, "Nothing I could tell you in front of your grandparents. But for more appropriate dreams, hm, I did have one. It involved your furry version of dogs. We had one."

"Yea, our dogs are sort of more narrow, taller, and they're either skin-like or scale-like. Not a lot of furry things. Furry things are generally incredibly poisonous so imagine my surprise when I first come here and you humans are walking around all sorts of furry things. I quite literally feared for my life. And the breed I dreamt about was rather large and incredibly, I don't want to say furry. It was, dread-like. A dog with dreads." and held out his arms trying to help define the size of this dog.

"Really? Scaly things are generally so tame in comparison to furs." And finished his meal, eyebrows raising. "My home? It's a lot different than here. It's hard to describe. We have climates and weather and temperatures, but it's a whole lot hotter." He thought for a few more seconds, "Families are more open, sex is normal, not so normal to like, do it on a subway but with families if you see someone having sex you can converse with them while they do it. And if you both trust each other enough you can join in. Um... alcohol is like our water? I'm not sure what you want to know. We don't really have cars or horses or majority of the animals you have."

They were trusting of each other without intercourse? Tellus found that a little farfetched. He imagined a lot of lying in families like that. Happened all the time back home. Those were the families you wanted to fix but couldn't.

"Well it's hard to say my parents raised me when the entire family raises you from cousins to grandparents to extended cousins and aunts. It's a whole community raising children. I do have a lot of siblings but I also have twice as many cousins. I'm closer with some of my cousins than I am my own siblings. I think some of my cousins are my half-siblings?'

Tellus was silent, thinking of his family tree. "Yes, at least eight of them are half-siblings. But with my species, if you have children with family members you actually pass down your strongest traits to them. We don't have genetic disfigurements like you do. My dad is also my uncle, my mother's half-brother's brother. So I guess not exactly my uncle but is? It's hard to explain. " and shrugged.

"Lust can turn into love, sort of. That's how I was born."

"That's because they don't talk, do they? They just go 'oh we're forced to marry so hello' and then pretend to act like a married couple despite not knowing each other." Olive eyes blinked, "We won't be unhappy. We'll talk a lot, I promise. I think it's harder for your species to communicate due to the sheer amount of emotions you have." He paused as he was shyly kissed, grinning. "I'll humor you, Jehart. We'll get to know each other very well."

"Yea, sure. Hobbies and friends. Tell me all about yourself and I'll tell you about me in return." Tellus was speaking despite the noise of the truck, though stopped as he saw the faces and smiled, "Hello again!" he greeted before giving a laugh, "It was certainly quite a task!" And listened to the bad news, glancing back out towards the driveway before walking in. He would have to fix that. The grandmother. Oh he hadn't done stuff like that in ever, he hoped it would work.

Tellus followed the trip, finding a spot by the doorway to rest before the mother hen started fluttering at and around it. Messing with his hair, his clothes, checking his temperature, "Ah, no ma'am. I was hoping that after chatting here with Jehart I may find a hotel." he admitted, "I wouldn't want to intrude into your house demanding a place to stay."
