Elize had been waiting for her friends near the inn so they could go shopping together when Teepo had wondered off. Even though it was only his combat abilities that had been reactivated, it seemed he still acted on Elize's emotions. She had noticed a strange light behind the inn, but was doing her best to ignore it. Not that that did anything. The girl ended up following Teepo through the odd rift, her mind not registering it as a portal even though she knew it was subconsciously. Before she knew it, Elize was standing in a fenced yard and the rift disappeared. Where had she just jumped to? "...Teepo!" Elize reached up and grabbed the drifting toy before he could leave again. She had to find out where she was. The best way to do that was to find a sign or something. Finding the entrance of the town would be a good start.

of twine ''Is there some way I may repay your kindess?'' he asked Sheena bowing slightly ''Maybe you need something delivered?''

"..." Turning his glance back to Rhone, Yuan could only show a weary, neutral sort of expression at his antics. If he weren't in his face like this, he'd sigh. The man was giving useful information, but did he have to be so...dramatic? "And what exactly are 'they'?"

Azura suddenly began to look as if she had an epiphany, then grinned mischievously. "To be honest, I think such little plants would wither in the overwhelming volume of the corruption, but...ahah...eheheh...heheheh...ahahahahahahaaaaaaa—" Her laughter was toeing the line of mad scientist territory.

Kratos interrupted her, however. "Azura. What is it?"

Maintaining her grin, she replied, "I'm sorry, I just remembered that I am an alchemist. We can grow these mana leaves...I can try to figure out something...then draw out formula runes and combine them with some components I have on hand... My point is, I could probably turn these things into substances or objects of, um, 'intensified' mana, which we could lob at a corruption source to destroy it." Her eyes lit up and she rubbed her hands together in a vaguely diabolical manner as she added, "Perhaps even explosively! That would be fun."

"..." Kratos would be facepalming at her enthusiasm over reckless behavior right now if there weren't something in his hands. (But,) he mentally admitted to himself, (her proposal does sound intriguing...)


((In the beginning of the post, I mean that Yuan's giving that calm kind of "I am so tired of your s**t" look but it didn't feel proper to write it that way. XD))

Where was he? Gaius remembered being at ammeeting one minute and then in the middle of a path the next. He was positive he hadn't moved from his throne. Thankfully, there was some sort of chapel nearby, though it wasn't a building he was familiar with. Walking up the fenced pathway that led to the stairs of the chapel building, he was stopped by the sound of a little girl sobbing. He could just keep walking and ignore it, but that wasn't who Gaius was. Seeing the girl sitting next to a dog, who appeared to be trying to comfort her, Gaius went over to her and knelt. She let out a surprised gasp when she saw him, though it was natural; he did look like the kind of guy that a kid shouldn't be around. "What's wrong?" "M-My doll. I was pl-playing with it while I waited for Papa, but then some mean boys threw it onto the roof." Gaius gave a mental sigh. What was it with little girls and their dolls? That was probably the one thing that confused him the most as a kid watching Karla play with her own. The violet-eyed king gave a smile before looking up at the roof. There was the doll, just sitting there in the gutter. "I'll get it down for you." The little girl blinked and then smiled as Gaius stood and looked for a way up. There were some crates near the back of the building he could climb up. Once he was on the roof and had the doll, Gaius sighed as he realized he could have had Muzet get it. Then again, it seemed kind of pointless to tether with her over something that requires so little labor. Jumping down, he gave the doll back to her and smiled as she thanked him. He may not understand the appeal of dolls, but seeing kids smile like that was always a nice thing. "Where is your father?" "He forgot Mama's present is Asgard and went back to get it. We're going back home to Iselia when he gets back." Asgard? Iselia? Gaius wasn't familiar with those places. They couldn't be Elympios cities; they were too...traditional.

What was going on? He was getting ready to play Spirit Tiles with Undine and Sylph when he saw a strange abnormality. Curiosity took over and Seishin took a detour to look at it. He intended to get a quick look and then get to Undine and Sylph to start their game. But, that hadn't worked out. As soon as he stepped through the abnormality, which he had done to see what would happen, the abnormality disappeared and he was...somewhere. He didn't know where he was, but there was a very high concentration of mana somewhere nearby. He was...drawn to it, being a spirit. Maybe it's Maxwell or the Four. Seishin held his staff close as he walked, though all he could do was hit things with it. As he got closer to the source, his ears perked when he heard voices. They weren't voices he knew, and he knew the voices of a lot of people. He found a rock and hid behind it as he listened. Alchemist stuck out, but he had no idea what it was. Peeking out from behind the rock, he blinked as he saw a fifth figure for a split second before it disappeared. It was most definitely a woman, like Miss Maxwell, but not there. It was hard to explain to himself. They look scary....But, maybe they can tell me where I am? I just have to find a way to talk to them.... Why hadn't he learned to talk yet anyway? He'd learn eventually, but until then, he'd have to figure things out.

Serenity looked at the scene in front of her. One minute she was holding onto the dual platform to avoid being blown away by a colliding attack and the next she was in a chapel. It was a quiet little place with not much to offer than the scenary around it; it was nice, though. Very beautiful. She was sitting behind a fence, her cards scattered on the pathway in front of her. At least they weren't damaged. As she stood, climbing over the small fence, she was suddenly feeling...thrilled. She sighed, but she couldn't deny the thrilled feeling she was experiencing now. She had been told stories by her father about the things that happened, and now she had experienced a fraction of that. After picking up her cards, she noticed that Curse of Dragon was missing. She panicked for a moment before calming herself down and looked around. It was long before she spotted it stuck between a crate and the building. Hurrying over, Serenity didn't notice that there was a leg in her way and ended up tripping on it. And, there wen her cards again. "Oh, come on....This isn't even funny." Sighing, Serenity got to work picking up her cards again before looking back at Curse of Dragon. At least it was safe. After she had her cards again, Serenity hurried over and plucked the rogue card from its location. "Thank goodness...." Getting back to where she tripped, she saw that the man was now standing and looking at her. She couldn't tell if he was concerned or upset or just...emotionless. "Sorry for interrupting your conversation with your daughter. Or, is she your niece? She's adorable." Serenity smiled at the girl before latting the dog's head. It was a friendly thing; most of the dogs she knew were usually shy or fierce.

"Bar- Er, Dart, eh? No Z?... If you're expecting me to travel back into the rift right now, you've been hittin' the Oxyale too hard!" Gilgamesh shook his head. "There was nothing obvious, but maybe we could keep walking through the ravine, check all of the conspicuous-looking rocks, and reach some sort of secret dungeon. Now that would be somethin'!"

He gestured toward Lord. "Our stick lord here could point us to the right path. He must be some kinda ranger, so maybe he can summon us up some forest critters!" He couldn't seem to decide whether Lord was a "berserker" or "ranger," whatever that was supposed to mean.

Aeris frowned slightly when Emil mentioned he hasn't seen anyone matching her description, though she was grateful that he would keep an eye out. "Thanks, Emil. I would appreciate it. He does kinda stand out so he's really hard to miss. I hired him to be my bodyguard, though I went off on my own." She made a sheepish expression. She did felt bad for leaving Cloud and others behind, though she knew what she needed to do in order to stop Sephiroth. As she followed Emil, she took a moment to look around. The city was pretty big, though it wasn't very advanced technology-wise in comparison to some of the places she had been to back in Gaia. "This city is pretty big, though it's not as big as Midgar. What do the people of this world use as an energy source? From what I could see, I don't see any kind of reactors." There was a tone of curiosity in her voice as she spoke. When they arrived at the shop, she looked around until something caught her interest. None of the weapons have materia slots at all. Of course that would be expected since she is in a different world, though it was still strange to her. After Emil had bought the cloak, she walked with him back to the slums. "I noticed that the weapons here don't have any materia slots. What do you use in order to use magic or enhance your abilities?"



((Just to point out that Gaia is also the name of the world in Final Fantasy VII. Not to be confused with the Gaia everyone knows and loves and the world in Final Fantasy IX. xd Then again, the characters themselves would be confused. rofl ))
