One elbow wasn't going to make King let go? That's okay, because Matt had plenty more where that came from. Out of all the moves and maneuvers he could've used, Shanahan simply kept firing his elbow at King's face fiercely, and he wasn't going to stop until his leg was free.

Ow.
Ow.
Ow.
Ow.
Ow.

It was on the fifth ow that King finally let go of Matt's leg and fell over to the side, scrambling to get back to his feet, which he succeeded in doing, but he was disoriented.

After King finally let go, Matt backed away from the balcony's edge and turned to stare at the disoriented man, his eyes locked on target. Stepping forward and shooting his arm out, The God of Punks attempted to grab The One True King by the throat with his powerful grip and choke the life out of his with one hand!

King turned about only to be caught by the throat with the powerful grasp of his enemies. Fingers wrapping around his windpipe, both his hands went up to Shanahan's arm to try and stop him from strangling him to death, with a cough or a sputter every so often.

Matt's face twisted into a sinister snarl at the sight of his former best friend choking in his grasp. His eyes were alight with the adrenaline and rage, he was seething to no end. With one mighty lift, Shanahan attempted to lift King high up into the air with one hand and suspend him there for sparing seconds. If he could manage to, he'd follow through by taking a few steps forward and then dropping to a knee, aiming to bring King back down to earth by smashing his lower back across his knee for the Hell's Throat!

2.0 groaned as he was lifted up high into the air. His feet flailed briefly, until they could do naught but swing upward from the momentum he obtained being thrown downward that way. But it was the sickening crack of his back on his opponent's knee that hurt him the most. The fans couldn't hear it, but 2.0 could definitely feel it. King bounced off the knee in pain, falling down to the side, thrashing back and forth!

Matt stayed down on one knee for a long moment, resting his arms on top of his propped up leg. Breath after breath left his lungs as he tried to regain some stamina. He eyes drifted to stare at the balcony edge...

As he began to stand, he pulled the leather gloves tight against his hands once more. With King down on the concrete, Matt stepped over to him and wrapped one hand around the back of the man's throat, and the grabbed the man's tights with the other. He roared furiously as he attempted to lift Kelly King off of the concrete walkway and high above his head, a true symbol of the strength Matt Shanahan possessed.

King's thrashing had come to a slow as he just sucked in air, trying to breathe past the pain of Matt's signature move. ******** that sucked. King was almost ready to start standing again, when his opponent grabbed him hard and lifted King high above Shanahan's head, the fans screaming loudly in fear and excitement both.

The crowds' cries fell on deaf ears. Regardless of what anyone thought, he was going to end this here and now. Turning to face the balcony's edge, Matt stared out over the crowd below for just a brief moment; time slowed down for him once again. Kelly King was suspended in his grasp high above him, and there was a solid thirty foot drop to the ground floor below.

There were no roaring taunts, there were no smartass quips, there wasn't even a smirk on Shanahan's face. He simply reared back and attempted send The One True King flying through the air with The Toss.

Perhaps that's what mattered though. The lack of taunting or the assholishness that usually accompanied this attack. But for four ******** weeks in a row, King had fallen prey to the Toss. Matt had Bane'd him out of the ring through a table. Matt had invaded his home and thrown him through his own kitchen. And Matt had toss'd him straight through the titantron screen most recently. The Toss. This was the move that King had to overcome. The move that Matt had made him suffer through over and over again.

Not today.

King looked around and quickly recognized where he was, and refused to be murdered in such a way. He wouldn't go down from the Toss. Never again.

King struggled, trying to throw Matt off-balance, and then slide down his opponent's back behind him. King would reach up and grab his opponent's arm, trying to flip him around and kick him in the stomach.

Matt's arms flew forwa-...

Matt's arms went forward to complete The Toss, but his opponent seemed to have managed out of his grasp. There was no flying King. There were no cries from the audience. There was no satisfying crash...

Wide-eyed, Matt whirled around without King's assistance, his enraged glare landing directly on The System. His hand shot outward to grab at his throat once more, but he was swiftly cut off as the kick connected with his stomach, causing him to double over in pain.

King was fast. He didn't have time to boast or gloat or bask in the fact that he'd countered The Toss after 4 long arduous weeks. He could only fight. King grabbed Matt's head between his arms and shouted loudly. "THAT IS IT! I!"

King raised Matt's arm into suplex position. "HAVE HAD."

King then strained but quickly tried to lift Matt. "ENOUGH!"

And finally, mid suplex, King moved to throw Shanahan forward and off the balcony with the Computer Crash!!! "OF YOU!"

Matt struggled fiercely against King's attempt to pull him into the suplex position, but the man's grip was firm.

Matt tried his best to pull his arm off of King's neck, but he was lifted up too fast.

From this angle, Matt saw everything upside down, and then... It happened. He was thrown forward over the balcony's railing. The arena lit up with people taking pictures, it shook with the sounds of cheers from the fans. King had finally managed to out-smart The Toss, and all that was in his vision was the scattering crowd below. That scattering crowd turned into a mass of steel chairs, with only concrete underneath that. Shanahan knew there was no avoiding this, nothing in his power was going to stop this descent.

He was falling face first, but managed to roll onto his side mid-air before impact. The sound of his three-hundred and twenty-six pounds of muscle, flesh, and bones smashing into a couple of steel chairs and concrete sounded worse than his truck smashing through Kelly King's living room wall. The sound of metal and concrete screeched through the arena on impact from the thirty-foot fall, with Matt flopping onto his back from impact. His eyes were shut and every limb was limp; no one was even sure that he was still alive.

King leaned on the balcony railing after Matt had fallen what could have been the last fall he'd ever take. King's eyes were wide and he looked down at the mass of chairs and people below. Specifically, he stared at that crater that Matt had left, amongst the wreckage, and 2.0 realized... he had done that. Not King. But Matt. Matt had done that to himself. The moment that he had thrown King out of the Royal Rumble. The moment he stepped into his home. The moment he threatened his family. Matt had done that to himself the moment that he had ******** with Greatness at it's Greatest.

The fans chanted and shouted 'Holy s**t' while Shanahan lay there, and King looked back, considering the stairs...

The God of Punks laid out on the concrete without so much as a flinch. The surrounding fans were actually silent, while the rest of the arena was screaming 'Holy s**t!' and cheering for The One True King. The referee finally decided to get involved by hopping the barricade and sprinting over the crater of chairs that The Black Star had left in his descent from the balcony. The brave man rushed over to Matt's side and pressed a hand against his neck, checking for a pulse.

"Get the EMTs out here, now!" The referee called out towards a nearby crew member, who promptly began running towards the backstage area.
