From the southwest came a heavy wingbeat, a black figure, demonic in features was flying low to the ground, bearing down upon the floating angelic watcher.
With mouth open, fangs bared it pulled up sharply, gaining altitude as it came within range of the angelic being. Those paying attention might have noticed a very sick, dizzy, and battered figure within the demon's arms.
High it flew, gaining double the altitude of Sarielle, upon which it's wings clapped closed, it turned midair, head pointing down to earth, towards the angelic one.
It's wings remained tight against his body as he picked up speed. A battle screech came from the demon, challenging the angelic presense.
Marg felt sick. And that only increased, as he felt the strong, bony hands moving, spinning him around, and releasing. Next he knew the wind was whistling around him, a dull roar in his ears, and he was barreling out of control for that certain angel.
The demon screeched, and dived in afterwards, ready to strike the angel after she dealt with the distraction.
((Demon's an NPC, feel free to puppet him, kill him, whatever.))

The ground shook beneath him, fighting a giant cat only hours before though had taught him that the ground was not always the safest place to be. Leaping back upon a burst of gasses venting as the pnumatic system propelled him backwards.
Rising a good four meters into the air given he hadn't enough time for a full power jump Gammu had a clear view as his sensors displayed the area beneath him. The innards of his cannon cycled and a cluster munition shell was loaded. Shifting the aim he fired around the man he had fired at eariler. When the round was a meter from the ground it blew itself apart and fragements flew out in a ten meter radius.

While running, the ground shimmered like heat rising from it.
Heat. Not again; Gamma remembered his armor's alarms flaring from the last heat wave he stepped into.
Stopping suddenly the ground shot up into a spike. Gamma turned to the side ready to go around and start firing with his rifle levelled. This was handy; he had cover now. Just as the green haired b***h came around from the corner swords ready.
Just the simple process of pointing the riotgun at her, her chest, and firing. Twice. Two quick jerks of his fingers to send a couple zero penetration rounds. Made to put people down quick, bruise muscle and bone; the worst hematoma you'll ever expect.

opaj's eyes widened as he suddenly jumped off to the side, shrapnel burying itself into his flesh. Looking up, he saw the enemy.
Sniper in the air! he sent Rage, before possibly passing out. But passing out in a stealthy sort of way, so that he was no longer a target.
((I go now... Bye!))

"Tch..."
Adjusting her stance at the last minute, Rage took one of the shots to the stomach and the second she managed to block with her sword. The force of both pushed her back a ways, sliding on the balls of her feet and wearing thin on her sneakers. She coughed up a fair ammount of blood when she slid to a stop, then scheathed her blade.
"That'll do for now," she said weakly. She was still recovering her breath.

But perhaps the air hadn't been so safe, after all.
She knew, in the way she'd always known where Felix was, that something was bearing down on her from above. And while Felix's aura had been dark, and bitter, this was so much more. She felt as though an abyss were ready to swallow her up...
Well, she'd been there once. And this time...well, like last time really, wasn't it?...she was going without a fight.
Fingers clasped around the hilt of the sword at her waist, sized small for her petite hands, grooved and curved everywhere it should be. And if it reflected back a little more sunlight than it should have, it was difficult to notice in those last few seconds.
She'd underestimated the demon's speed, and moreover, she'd underestimated his unusual "weapon." The creature threw the man at her like it was a schoolyard game of dodgeball - and he was the ball.
A quick dip of one wing took her mostly out of the way, but her feathers were still drenched, and she was so very heavy in the air...The man struck only her shoulder, but it was enough to cause her to lose sensation in her arm. The sword glittered and glinted in its freefall into the dirty gloom. Who knew what damage it did below.
But she had no time to think of that. Throwing her hands up in a defensive gesture, she threw up the shield she'd used to protect so many a human once. She only hoped it did the same for her.
[Sorry to leave Marg freefalling like that...but she's more concerned for her personal safety at the moment, lol. And no prob about the demon. I'll let you have control for now. ^^]

"You stupid..." Marg screamed out, but that's all he got, before he slammed into the ground, hard.
That silenced the man, and stilled him. Between airsickness, the impact, and his own more or less frail condition, he was going to be out of it, at least for a few minutes.
The demon came in right behind Marg. As the projectile struck her shoulder, he struck, his wings fully spread, breaking and pulling him up, above the angel. His hands were pointed down, his legs spread wide.
A guttural sound came from the demon's maw, in each hand a spark formed, growing larger, crackling with electricity. After three seconds charging, the bolts fired, two shots, one from each hand, aiming for the Angel's shoulders.

The explosion near Opaj was all the warning Gregory needed that they weren't facing just one opponent. He rolled onto his back and looked up at the hovering form. He quickly went over his options and decided upon which element to attack with. He realized that regardless of how heavy and well grounded the man was when at rest, he was in the air now and that made stability a whole new ballgame.
Teph Piroth This time there was no shimmer on the ground anywhere. Instead a swirling globe of wind appeared in his hand. Med The globe doubled in size. Jiph The globe seemed to disappear. Instead, though, a 75 MPH straightline wind had been sent hurtling in a cone at the flying target. And what was the best part about wind as an attack element? It was invisible.
((Gammu, in case you didn't catch it, this one's for you))

The weapon loaded another round into the barrel, an anti tank one. Locking onto his new target as sensors indicated the previous one was wounded he fired the Mach 5 ballistic at the midsection of the man. The weapon cut straight through a blast of air and distrupted the flow as it broke the sound barrier. Buffeted by mild winds Gammu's rockets flared as they stabalized his course. He may have been air born but no matter what 500 lbs is still a lot of mass to move.

"No, it won't." Gamma told Rage, speaking in a language s/he wouldn't understand. But Gamma didn't care.
Stepping forward with one foot he had the riotgun still aimed at Rage. So he fired again. Three times now, at her shoulder (Which held the sword), since that sword of hers decided to share.

She heard the pitiful shriek of the man as he continued to hurtle past her. Gunshots and explosions continued to riddle the ground below her. She would have to have her sword back...
The impact from the demon's attack hit her hard. Sarielle tumbled backward, momentarily upside down in her screwed up version of an airborn cartwheel.
Her satchel went the way of her sword. "Dammit," she breathed softly, strange words for a former angel seeking redemption. But at least the attack had left her feeling decidedly bruised but otherwise unharmed. She felt a small surge of pride. Maybe she could do this afterall.
With hope came confidence; and grey eyes strangely alight, she folded her wings and dove, even as the demon itself had, opening them again at the last moment to skim along the ground.
She still knew where the demon was; its aura was there, reeking of decay. But hopefully, she thought as she dodged in and out of plumes of smoke and dirt, it didn't possess the same ability.

Owle had taken to the air with the first explosion, and somehow managed to avoid both the demon's attention and the shots of the two armored men. Rage had been shot...and then...
"Sarielle!" Owle gasped, as the once human woman came swooping down from the sky.
Already, Owle began preparing a mental attack, designed to make one of these two more vulnerable...

((How many rounds does that thing hold? You've already used five, and I doubt a shotgun is belt-fed.))
The girl just smiled viciously. "Speak English," she said in Drakonic, standing still as the bullets sailed towards her. Considering the rate of shotgun fire....
With three quick slices, the first bullet was reflected right back at the suit, the second pushed Rage a bit further back, and the third was reflected as well. She followed it up by charging towards the suit again, switching out blades to one with a distinctive red hilt. In a matter of moments it was glowing white-hot, and Rage made another leap into the air, this time putting her blade in front of her body. She'd simply aim to cut straight through that red eye and whatever was behind it, using the bullets she had reflected as a distraction.
