Accio Alice One: If I were the anon, I would've done a much harder riddle for you guys to solve. And trust me, I don't make riddles look easy. Two: I don't have enough money to buy twelve people an item from their wishlist. Three: I already did a test, not much of a prank, so I wouldn't have done it anyway.It's fine. I thought someone had already told everyone that I'm number seven. Guess not. Also, someone did say you were number seven, but I decided not to just take someone's word for it and call it a day. Reason being there was an anon once who brilliantly faked a letter to herself and everyone bought it for quite a while. Chibi Halo Why am I not thinking the connection is in the Goodbye thread? Who on the list has posted in the threads about the Barton Scouts? I could be barking up a wrong tree in thinking that is the connection between all of us and the gifter.
Once I wasn't able to connect the Goodbye thread, I did briefly think about the Barton Scouts. I believe everyone here has posted there at one point or another, but there are a few who aren't among the main scouts and haven't committed to the roleplay. Actually, I don't think Skyro posted there at all.

I wouldn't doubt yourself Chibi..I've always gone with my instinct as you think that way for a reason...It sounds like your on to something though... care to explain a bit more?

Actions speak a bit louder than words... razz but why say that if everyone is currently still stumped on this one? I think Yuu would be a great riddler though...with her knowledge of puns and such.

I wouldn't doubt yourself Chibi..I've always gone with my instinct as you think that way for a reason...It sounds like your on to something though... care to explain a bit more? I was starting to wonder if everyone listed so far had posted in either one of those two threads because you guys were looking for some kind of connection between all of us and the gifter outside of us all being active in the main forum of the guild. So I threw out one of the more active non stickied threads that I know most of us had posted in. Unless, we've all been active in the Chatterbox thread lately and the person went through that one looking for people to gift. Then again, it could simply be a matter of all of us being friends with the person and they went down their list to pick people to gift.

Well.. It's someone who knows us all well, it's someone who knows numerology... But let's also think.. Who do you think would have upwards of a million gold to spend on everyone? Let alone have an idea what to buy those with hidden wishlists? To those of you with hidden wishlists, think back. Did you ever make mention of the specific item you were just gifted?
I wish I kept track of who was online when Hinata made it known to me that these messages were being sent out. I do have some suspects, though!

I can't remember when that was. The thread no longer exists... Must've got swept up in cleaning efforts. I think for those with hidden wishlists, the anon got an item that he/she thought would fit with you and that you'd like?

First, I've kind of stopped chatting with everyone outside of the guild because I don't do the Meebo. So by the time I got my gift I hadn't heard of them because I didn't check the guild and by the time I did I didn't connect two and two together with what others were getting and what I got as some actual themed gift-a-thon. xp
So really all this talk of numerology and placing who where probably doesn't mean anything. If the connection really is just the fact that we're all on the anon's friends list then they could have just gone down their list of friends in the order we're on there. What I'm wondering is why the anon didn't cover their bases and tell everyone to tell their friends. Why stop after the third person?

At this point I can with great confidence say that it is Renon. However, this is an open investigation, so I will not finalize anything.-There does not appear to be much more to it than the selections being based off of those the anon most closely associates with. And with the reveal of the last two, this holds true.-In determining the anon, we must look deeper. There are the numbers, the date/time these messages were sent, and the messages themselves.-Based on others' observations, it would appear that the anon has a good understanding of numerology. As such, each number assigned to the giftees corresponds to some aspects of their personalities, to a degree, as perceived by the anon.
-In addition, the interpretation of the three numbers in a few messages (3, 4, 11) as the date 4/1/13, appears to no longer hold true.-Conclusion: There is not enough information to make a solid case against someone. Even with everyone revealed, we have only two things to go off of. First, the numbers, as the anon has a good amount of knowledge in numerology. Second, the list of recipients. The anon is someone who knows all of us a great deal. There are only a few people who haven't been gifted who hold true to that statement. Focus on them.Post-script: Once again, I must state that holding out information does not help anyone. I do not follow numerology, therefore I have almost no knowledge in it. I am sure this is also the case for some other people trying to solve this case. Holding out crucial information slows the investigation, and can end up pointing people in the wrong direction. Everyone has ideas to contribute, and everyone wants to help solve this case. Someone can make use of your contributions as a springboard to help further the investigation, so please contribute. With the only information I had so far being the list of giftees and the interpretation of the numbers as 4/1/13, it was somewhat easy to connect everything here to your prank, and you were the best lead I had at the time.
