"The She-Wolf is ours!" The male snapped and thumped his chest. "My Beta has taken her as his Mate. You know as well as I do, that call can not be ignored. They fought and she lost. He won the right to Mate with that female. If he xhoose to, he could have killed her. Instead he spared her, and rewarded her bravery. She now has a strong pure blood mate with a position of power. The Mutt has done well for herself." The male smirked at Meadow.
"Looks like we are inlaws then, since my Beta is my younger brother." He stood up and stretched.
"Might want to treat your family better or else it will get around."

Jasper and a group of the most experienced and fierce warriors descended upon the Pack. The Beta was the only one to take his Human form.
"I wish to speak to your Alpha!" The handsome young man announced. His Pack brothers flanked him. They were ready to attack should anyone try to attack Jasper in his weaker form.
"We do not want to shed blood. We will do so if we must. All we want is our Alpha. Then we will go back to where we have come from." The male sniffed the air. His older brother and mate had been here.

Kieran was already growling and trying to control himself. He did so only because he was a guest in this Pack. He was trembling with the rage he felt.
"What....did...you...do...to my sister?!" He couldn't help it. He was charging the male. Both men shifted and there was fighting. Loud snarls, growls, jaws snapping.

There was blood and fur everywhere. The males were pretty evenly matched. The other wolves did not back up their Alpha since it was a fair fight. Both males backed away, chests heaving. The male shifted back to his Human form.
"You are a relative of hers....I smell that..." The male stated and looked at the angry wolf.
"I took her as my Mate. She is now a member of our Pack. The Bonding Ceremony can not happen without our Alpha. If you do not release him, you are condemning your sister. No male in a position of power will want her since she is no longer Pure. I am trying to honor our mating, and ensure she will be accepted by our Pack. You are only going to hurt her if you continue to fight me. If you luck out, you kill your sister's mate. She has yet to be accepted in our Pack. She is in our Pack house. What do you think will happen to an unattached female of breeding age who is no longer Pure? In a house of males....looking for mates."

Kieran changed back and ignored his nudeness. He looked like he wanted to hit the other man but he held himself in check.
"Meadow....return his Alpha....I will accompany you all to your Pack. I want to see Leila with my own eyes. Make sure she is well."
"She is resting....she has had a physically demanding day." Kieran snapped.
"Shut your filthy mouth, before I shut it for you!"
"Woooo!!! Not like that....well....yes....like that...but...I meant she had traveled a great distance, she fought hard, and then was Mated. She is resting. She is fragile right now. Looks undernourished and like she is still recovering from her travels."

Kieran was not pleased that they had to let the Alpha go. He was even less pleased that the Beta was Leila's mate. He had not wanted her to find her Mate. He now regretted that, now he wished nothing more then for Leila to have found a choose her mate. He hated the idea of her being forced into a mating with anyone, especially anyone from this sorry Pack.

He turned to Meadow and kissed her forehead. He held his face in his hands a moment. Staring into her eyes.
"Keep the others safe." He said before he turned away from her. He shifted and follow the Pack of males leaving Meadow's territory.

They ran for about 20-30 minutes before they came to a area that was thick with trees. The wolves slowed but still moved steadily in the same direction they had been. Soon a run down house with wolves stationed outside of it came into view. The Alpha and Beta continued toward the house. Both males shifted back and turned back to Kieran who was shifting back as well.
"You can see her....and stay for the Bonding Ceremony. I am sure that will be a comfort to you both." Jasper offered.
"Do not attempt to remove her from out territory." The Alpha warned.

Kieran was gone a total of maybe two hours. He returned to Meadow's Pack though. He seemed a bit depressed but also he seemed slightly calmer. As if seeing his sister had eased his fears a bit.
"Meadow...?" He called out as he entered her home.

Kieran rushed in to the office and to Meadow. He reached out a hand to her. He tugged her up to her feet.
"Where are the guards? I was able to just walk right into the house." He kissed her lightly.
"I can go stand guard if your guards are resting. I can patrol." His green eyes were on Meadow's face.

Kieran picked Meadow up and ran out of the room with her. He yelled for help as he ran through the house. He knew there had to be a medic on site. There always was. He laid Meadow on the sofa, and brushed the blonde locks away from her face. She felt like she was on fire. He frowned at her.

He was bumped aside as the medic took over. Immediately the elderly woman started barking out orders. She started to undress the Luna and press the cool damp cloths to her body. Trying to get her temperature down.

Kieran moved forward as soon as he heard Meadow's voice. He wrapped his arms about Meadow's cold tiny waist and lifted her out the bath. He kissed her gently before resting his forehead against hers.
"I know what is going on....they told me..." He moved his hand up her back, shoulders and into her hair. He pushed her face toward his and he kissed her more deeply. This time when he broke the kiss he stared into her eyes.
"You wanted me to be your Mate...so why are you against it now? Before you found out I am a half blood?"

Kieran pulled away from Meadow and shoved a hand through his hair. He sighed and turned away from her. When he turned back to her he looked exhausted.
"No. I did not and do not want a Mate." He took a deep breath.
"I like you though Meadow. I want to get to know you. I want the option of being with you. I don't want to be with you because I have too. Or because you are demanding it. I want you to get to know me and want to be with me for me! Not because I am a damn Alpha!" He moved toward Meadow.
"You don't know me, and your ready to binding yourself to me forever! Why?!" He walked away angry.
"I want whoever I spend the rest of my life with to love me, not with me because of what I am. Not with me because I will produce strong pups."
