Iris began to stand and opened her mouth to speak, then Marina shot the vilest glare one could imagine possible at her.
Iris promptly shut her mouth and sat that a** back down.

Annis couldn't help but laugh as Nino and Marina had their own bidding war, escalating the price to a level she couldn't quite believe. "Guess Rath really gets your knickers in a bunch, huh, Marina?" Annis called over to her, grinning, once she could finally catch her breath. "Have fun on your hot date!"

Then Adele looked over and saw Marina's glare and she too promptly shut the hell up.

Ganon was stunned, and struggling to keep up, but once Nino conceded... "A-a hundred sixty-two THOUSAND GOLD!?" Call the snake flabbergasted! His tail lashed so hard it snapped like a whip, cracking at the air. "S-sold!" He all but SHOVED Rath off the stage; Marina deserved to start her date IMMEDIATELY for that kind of gold. "Go go go, get on down there, and I swear to god if you don't let her get at least to second base," he growled, ushering the Vice Captain away, and then returned to the center stage, swinging his guitar off his back. "Well, before we bring out our last, highly anticipated bachelor, it's time for a word from our sponsor," he said, strumming a few notes.
"Have you ever woken up in a strange and confusing land with no memory of how you arrived? And then you realized, you didn't know your own name, but you knew the guy in front of you, and you thought to yourself, 'well, that's strange', but you know, you had things to do, places to go, you didn't... didn't really have time to think about that, so you went along with him, and you found yourself in the middle of a town... on fire..." He took a deep, thoughtful breath, "And you had no idea, still, how you'd got there, but you couldn't help thinking, just probably, maybe you'd like to go back to wherever you came from, because probably, you think, it wasn't on fire. And you're sort of stuck there, for a few months, and you conclude that... fire is an unreasonably common problem where you are, because places where you are seem to catch on fire an awful lot of the time. You have four conversations with a woman and you fall in love, and it's wonderful, but sometimes you think you rushed into this marriage too fast, out... out in the battlefield," he sighed, tail waving, "So you go to her and suggest maybe you should... break it off, just for now, for a while, but she doesn't take too well to that, and she puts an arrow... in your knee, and it occurs to you that maybe you should have waited, at least a little while, maybe, for the town to not... be on fire, again, and maybe let the battle settle down some, or stop... entirely," he breathed, "So you've got an arrow in your leg, and you're just starting to think your adventuring days are over, but you survive the battle and your wife has already... spoken to everyone else in the company on your behalf, and you find you're sort of a... social pariah, and you have a long, long journey with a busted knee ahead of you, but you make it... to the next battle, and it's the turning point, the end of the war... and you go into the fight, and you trip, because of your knee, and you feel... something really hot, and realize you fell on your torch, and now you are on fire, and..."
He began to strum in earnest. "Now wouldn't this be a good time for a slice of rhubarb pie? Yes, nothing gets the taste of shame and humiliation out of your mouth like Vincent and Victor's Beboparebop Rhubarb Pie and Rhubarb Pie Filling." He launched into the song proper, singing:
But a-one little thing can revive a guy!
An' that is a piece of a-rhubarb pie!
Serve it up, nice and hot!
Maybe things aren't as bad as you thought,
And it is at this point that he was joined by two burly men in aprons and funny poofy white hats, who sang along,

Ganon flashed a winning smile at the crowd and concluded melodically, "Beboparebop, rhubarb pie!" He bowed, as did the two men, and then stood up, adding, "Head on down to Vincent and Victor's Beboparebop Bakery right on Castle Street and Main, just across the street from the castle gate! Now, I think, it's time for what you've all been waiting for..." The two men left, waving, as Ganon stepped back to the curtain.
"Introducing our final bachelor for the evening, famous chef for the crew, hero of Tellius, recently single, full-time father figure, the man with downy-soft feathers and pecs you could bounce a caber off of, let me introduce... Tibarn!"The King of Hawks burst through the curtain in a shower of ******** rose petals, his chest bare, in a pair of stark black and white pants and boots and his now-famous green overcoat. He had let his hair fall wild across his face today, unrestrained by his bandana.
He stepped forward slowly, toward the auction block, and then...
Arched his back, hard, flaring his wings with such force that his jacket was thrown off backward, leaving his war-scarred, perfectly sculpted chest, stomach, and shoulders bare for all to see. A wink, a brow arched, and he threw his head back, letting his hair flip out of his eyes.
You think that arrow-lovin' loser is sexy? You ain't seen nothin'."... So. Begin! Do we have a starting bid?"

"I'll bid a thousand gold if you can flex your pecs!" Isadora shouted across the room, hoping that Tibarn would be able to hear her voice.
What was the reason Isadora trying to bid? Surely, she would have been flustered from her previous date with Tibarn during last Valentine. Could it be that she try to spice up the bidding war? Or could it be that she just couldn't get enough of Tibarn?
