gaia_star STATUS EFFECT: Jove is just hiding in one of his favourite places - a small mushroom patch full of wild foxfires, who enjoy wandering around the Misty Fields looking for small treats - and the scent of bottles of fluff! - when he suddenly meets Am, terrorizing all his little fluffy friends! He must overcome all odds and defeat this terrible foe before his haven is destroyed once and for all!
gaia_star BONUS CONDITION: If during the entire ordeal, Am is convinced that Jove is an evolved (ascended) foxfire out to destroy her for her greed. She decides after the battle never to eat another foxfire again.... for now.

gaia_star LOCATION: Jungle Portal
gaia_star STATUS EFFECT: The tropical jungle portal is considered one of the worst portal locations in Deus (well, short of the underwater one), and the two trainees have been assigned to a grueling task of portal duty. It is wet, humid, extremely suffocating and warm, and the loud screeching and cries from local wildlife (or imported wildlife really) do nothing to ease their nervousness. Just as they think it can't get worse, it does, as the portal glows green, and the head of a gigantic ghost dragon peers out from the portal. It has 75 HP and does -5 auto damage a turn. The two must beat the ghost dragon into submission once and for all!
gaia_star BONUS CONDITION: If the player defeats the dragon, it will drop a loot of a golden pendant. Wearing this pendant will cause the player to turn into a giant ghost dragon (approx 20 feet) when angered in extreme conditions for approximately 5 minutes, amplifying all their emotional insecurities, and can only be used once. It also makes the player berserk and probably subject to Life Labs experiments, lots and lots of experiments enjoy (both players can roll for loot, highest roller wins).
* This cannot be used during boss battles or any GM event

gaia_star STATUS EFFECT: Teen Rock Queen sensationalist Ember has arrived in Halloween Town, and offered a challenge to all fans (or even, non fans). Form a band of at least two and create a song about Teenage Rebellion and record it live to send in. The winner will get two front stage tickets and signed and autographed t-shirts as well as a trip to Scare-waii with the band! While Ember is something of a pop icon, she's also considered extremely hardcore, to the point where most people turn a blind eye to her bad influences... including her music. Literally unable to find anyone else, Roch must resort to extreme measures and convince Zephyros that the newbie would like nothing better than to start a band and win tickets for himself, as well as a signed t-shirt.

gaia_star BONUS CONDITION: The group must coordinate together (they can recruit up to two more rpers if they want) a band name, matching band outfits, instruments, as well as lyrics to their song. Extra bonus points if the band players are all incompetent.

gaia_star LOCATION: Amityville Gym (outdoors, training course)
gaia_star STATUS EFFECT: The biweekly fitness trials are about to take place, and as first years, Canon and Agsilved are extremely behind, to the point where they have to take make up fitness courses. The goal today as dictated by none other than Gym Tyrant Red? Do a three-legged race through the Gym teacher's most beloved course, which involves:
- Both characters tying one of their legs together. NO FLYING INVOLVED OR YOU'RE DISQUALIFIED. NO CHEATING. This is a PHYSICAL EXERCISE KIDDOS.
- Running through the mud course. The first part of the course is a mud course. Both players must roll a 6-sided die and roll even to pass through. If they do not both roll even they end up falling flat on their faces in the mud and taking the other player. For example: Bob rolls a 1. Fail. Retry for both. Bob rolls 2, but Sue rolls 1. Fail. Retry for both They have to try again. Bob rolls 4 and Sue rolls 4. They pass through!
- Swimming through the slime pool. Both players must swim through the slime pool, but the slime pool is poisonous and saps their HP. Roll 6 6-sided dice at the same time. For each even number you roll, you take - 5 HP of your total HP. If you dissipate you have to start ALL OVER AGAIN WITH YOUR PARTNER.
- Avoiding the Land Shark. The giant land shark can only be defeated by the power of extreme coordination. Both players must set aside their differences and defeat the land shark once and for all - BY RUNNING FOR THEIR LIVES. Roll 10d10. If any player rolls a 1, they are EATEN BY THE LAND SHARK OH NO. At least you tried.

gaia_star BONUS CONDITION: Continue playing until you finally get to the end and you will pass your fitness test. Congrats!! Otherwise you just get a gold star that says You Tried.
