"Oh darn. Too quick for me. Maybe next time." Uncovering her eyes, she made a shooing motion at him. Which meant it was time for him to leave so that she could change into her clothes for the day.
"Best get out unless watching won't make you faint." Vyth shuffled around the tent towards her bag of clothes. "And no peeking in through the flap while I'm in my undies you perv."

Gabe blushed. "I, uh, er," How was he even supposed to respond to that? So he made a quick beeline for the tent flaps as she want to collect her clothes.
"I won't peek I promise," he said, ducking out and covering his eyes. Seeing her change probably actually would have made him faint, or at least get very seriously lightheaded.

Laughing, she shook her head as he quickly vacated the tent. Putting on a pair of jeans and a light t-shirt. Once she had brushed out her hair and gotten everything situated she made her way outside. It was chilly so she grabbed her hoodie and slipped it on before closing the tent flap.
"I wouldn't have minded." She grinned at him before walking over to the fire pit. Poking at the ashes with the toe of her boot. "Bacon and eggs for breakfast?"

Gabe waited, eyes covered, until he heard her step out of the tent and turned to look at her.
"You look really great," he blurted. She looked good in anything to him, but especially so. "And, uh, bacon and eggs sounds great." He agreed. "Do you want me to help you cook?"

She had to keep from giggling when she spotted him standing there with his eyes covered. Was he afraid of seeing her shadow or something?
His blurted statement though did make her laugh out loud. With a small toss of her hair over her shoulder, she gathered it all up and pulled it back into a pony tail. Securing it with a hair tie. "Thanks sweetie."
Moving over to the tree where everything was hung up, she raised a questioning eyebrow at him. "If you would like to. Do you know how to cook them?" She had honestly never seen him cook something like bacon and eggs. Vyth did not want to spend her day throwing up because of under cooked things.

[ Gabe was rather nervous about accidentally perving on his girlfriend. He supposed it was at least sort of acceptable, but awkward nerd would forever be awkward nerd.
"Uh, you're welcome." He flashed her a smile.
"I promise, I can cook that much," he said. Really. He was, admittedly, sort of sheltered and not at all used to being particularly helpful insomuch as cooking was concerned, but he was pretty sure he could tell when eggs or bacon were cooked. And he just wanted to help her out.

"Hmm, ok then." Untying one of the ropes, she lowered down the container. Rustling through it, she quickly pulled out the package of bacon and carton of eggs. Handing them both to him. "Have fun my little Chef."
Now was the time to impress.
She raised the container back up into the air before settling down onto the ground near the fire. Watching him closely with a light smile on her lips.

Gabe took the food, then ducked back in to get a pan and matches."I've got this," he said firmly, feeling rather sure of himself. He placed the still-wrapped food in the pan for carrying purposes when he went to get kindling and such to restart the fire.
This time, he got it going pretty easily, and he peeled open the bacon, setting the packaging and the eggs aside. "How many eggs do you want?" he asked, holding the pan over the fire.

Wrapping her arms around her legs, Vyth watched him with a grin. Certainly hoping he would remember to open the package of bacon before cooking it. Which he did. She knew he would but one could never tell how silly a person would be when it came to cooking.
"Hmmmm three please. Over easy if you could. I like them runny." Alright Gabe, cooking for girlfriend test time.
She could eat eggs anyway really. Though her favorite ways were over medium or deviled. Deviled eggs were usually saved for when she just felt like pigging out on something or parties.

"Three eggs, over easy, coming right up," Gabe said, cracking them with one hand and popping them into the pan, adding another two for himself. It was a pretty full pan, all things considered, and he figured they would definitely have plenty of food for breakfast.
Usually, at home, he scrambled eggs, but he doubted they had the tools for that here.

Watching him skillfully crack the eggs with one hand, she was impressed for sure. Most people preferred to use both hands when cracking eggs. Vyth laid her chin down on her kness. "So I figured we would go hike up to some caves first today. Then go hike down to the lake and do some fishing. See if we can catch anything good."

Gabe nodded, keeping his eyes on breakfast so nothing overcooked. "That sounds like a great plan," he agreed. "Ah, do we have plates? The eggs are gonna be done well before the bacon, I think."

"Aha right plates!" She had totally forgotten to grab the plates out of the supplies box.
Scrambling to her feet she scurried on over as quickly as she could. Rustling about in the box until she pulled out some cheap little plastic plates that they could wash afterwards. Leave the forest as you left it.
Hurrying on back, she held onto the plates for the moment. "Just let me know when you need them."

"Thanks!" Gabe said, keeping an eye on the eggs.
A few minutes later, he was beckoning Vyth over. "I think these are just about done!" He declared, feeling rather proud of himself. Adventures in woodland cooking: Successful, so far!

Moving on over, she bent down. Holding out both plates for him to settle the eggs down upon when he was ready. "Smells really good so far!" Then her stomach rumbled rather loudly and a light flush spread across her cheeks. "I guess my stomach agrees."
