 Kimmi watched over Jasper's movements, trying to judge if his injuries at his last mission would effect anything he could start to learn. She jumped down to speak to him as one of the newer recruits walked up. "Jasper, how are you feeling now? I have a note left for you." She handed him the rolled and sealed scroll bearing Liliana's mark in the wax seal. Turning to the new girl, Kimmi smiled. "Hello! How can I help you?"

(Before I reply, what does the letter say? "Come to my palace for casual intercourse" or the usual "just stop by". I'm kinda hoping for a little of both. >.<)

Hell; that was the only way to describe what Elizabeth had been through. It had been weeks since she'd been home, and she couldn't even catch a break upon her initial arrival. As the vixen trudged her way through the brush of the woods, all she could do was brood on everyone involved: The witch, Liliana, who had sent her, a greenhorn fighter, into the thick of enemy territory only to carry out the very mission she sent Elizabeth on herself. The assassin, Kinetav, who, despite saving her life, drug her through the desert and used Elizabeth to carry out his own agenda. And worst of all, the mysterious Father Alexander character. She knew she had no real reason to hate him, but if it wasn't for him, she wouldn't have been sent into the hellhole known as wormwood in the first place.
Her thoughts must have occupied a great deal of time; before she knew it, she was emerging from the brush into full view of the training grounds. Elizabeth stood there and simply brooded even more. The little vulpine rogue was covered head to toe in muck, grime, and a mixture of both her own and her victim's blood. Her hair and fur was matted and tangled and her face reflected the storm that was raging in her mind. Right now, all she could think about was giving Lili a piece of her mind, and taking a piece of her flesh. This is where she left the witch, so this is where she'd wait.

  xxxxShe gave a small hop of surprise as she was addressed by Kimmi. Jan scratched her head a little in thought as she composed herself. "Um well I suppose if you were willing to offer some training that'd be a great help. Kinda new around here." She gave a light almost embarrassed laugh.

While attempting to pull off the heavy equipment from his body, Jasper heard a rather quiet greeting, which he had to assume it was for him seeing as though the others were a fair distance away. Looking for it's origin, he first caught glimpse of firey red hair. Rare indeed, and just as beautiful as the girl who the hair belonged to. At first glance, the woman reminded him of Lust, the demon whom he had encountered in his world, back in Axiom. But therewas no possible way the demon could find her way back to her child, not in this world. Judging from the woman's apparel, she was a fighter. Castors never really appealed to Jasper, real fighting was done upclose. "The name's Jasper... pleased to meet you..." It was thenthat Kimmi interrupted him by handing him a letter from Lilliana. It was quite peculiar. He wondered if Lili herself wrote this, then he'd expect a good laugh from the attempt of a seer writing a letter. But itwasmost likely written by Evvie. Upon opening, he began to read almost immediately.

"Well, I need to know just what you're currently able to do. Class, element, and such," Kimmi explained. Hiro Allday Errday The letter bore an unusual dark purple ink, letters looping together as through from an unpracticed hand. Dear Jasper,
If you received this letter, it means things went just about what I saw. You are not yet used to the type of nature this world creates and what I sent you to do gave you your first brush of it. I made sure another would be sent behind you so you would not be gravely injured. Not currently I am off with... diplomatic matters. I should expect to return within a day of you waking back up.

xxxx"Ah right of course! I'm classified as a monk. I've got earth element. I want to train to use these chakrams, tonfas, and brass knuckles." She gestured to the weapons at her hips. She paused to think of anything else that could be added, "Aaand... I'm human. I suppose that's it?" Jan offered up another light laugh and glanced over to Jasper who was reading a letter. She had missed the chance to return the introduction. Figuring there'd be another moment to do it the monk shrugged it off and turned back to Kimmi.

It seemed as if he were being summoned, but at a later time. Jasper really had nothing better to do than to train in a weapon style, perhaps one that focused on defensive strategies rather than offensive ones. He could do that... or he could get that firey haired girl's name. Jasper grinned as he pocketed the note he received and turned his attention back to the girl. "I'm terribly sorry, I wasn't expecting to be contacted so soon after my leave of absence. If I may ask, what is your name?"

Jan. He'd remember that, despite the fact that he was somewhat terrible with names. It was different to see someone so eager to be here. Different, in this case, was good. Starting out from the bottom was depressing enough the first time. Now Jasper had to do it again. But at least he'd do it with a few promising looking people. Jan, for one, seemed like she'd be a great fighter. Then there was the younger one that just came in. Jasper had no idea who she was, but perhaps she was stronger than her appearance let on. "Well, Jan, like yourself, I am a fighter. Though I specialize in fighting against the forces of the dark. I am a Paladin of Pital, and as such I have a few tricks gained from my allegiance. I can only hope that next time I go out on a mission, I can use those tricks instead of getting hurt." Jasper scratched his head as he chuckled at his previous failure. "I actually helped my sister to become a Monk, like yourself. I hear she's doing a bit better than myself, right about now, actually..." He was getting nowhere with this.

Kimmi smiled. "Ah you two are getting along so adorably," she said, tail swishing back and forth. "And that's rather helpful, actually. I want you to go over these. I can only explain, since I myself don't practice such a vocation. They said I was too twitchy." Kimmi explained the first set of things to her. Looking to Jasper, her smile faded a little. "I know you're still recovering from your last mission but it would seem we're short handed right now. Guards are being sent to strengthen our western border with Wormwood and the main city is low on strong people. Adviser Evvie's instructed all the teachers to keep an eye out for students who may be able to help her out with some of the small guard duties and send them her way. It was always nice to meet another follower of Pital. Though her connection to all of the gods was where her power stemmed from, that much was clear. "Perhaps when you're done with training you can join me in guard duty, eh?" He grinned. "Yeah, talk to you soon." It seemed as if he were being deployed for an unwanted guard duty. Though he wouldn't be much of a guard in his current status. Jasper was still ranked very low amongst the other warriors in the world. He had no idea of knowing how strong those zealous Wormwood soldiers were. *Well, here's to hope.* "So do I report to anywhere in particular? Our border with Wormwood stretches miles, beyond what the eye can see."
