Kira... she couldn't talk about it, she only rubbed her wrists more. She had to quell this anxiety before she returned home. Home. She took in a slow shaky breath, standing by the doorway of the kitchen- it was simply something she did.

At the offer of food, Kira shook her bowed head. She bit her lip, voice barely audible"I'm n-n-not h-hung-gry th-thank y-you.. r-real-ly..." Kira was too stressed to be hungry. She was thinking about how she'd have to explain the shredded books, the work she would have to redo by tomorrow. She put a hand over her mouth, how she was going to explain to her father about the phone call that was sure to come.

Ryan grinned and pulled at Kira. "Aw what you don't wanna eat m sisters dangerous cooking? Give it a try." Sarah in turn smacked him and glowered. "I can cook just fine!" At Yosuke's remark she sighed. "I plan on cooking here. Why is that a problem?" Gee it seemed everyone was after her today. Ryan whipped Sarah with his wet shirt and bolted inside. "Come on we can mess up Yosuke's house before he gets in!" Not really but it sounded fun enough on ears.

Yosuke chuckled, he was glad there was a good mood going, yet still didn't shake his concerns over Kira. He had every intention to ask her about her father, or if she needed to talk, but that would come when the opportunity presented itself. "I'm sure you can cook..Ah..decently, Sarah. But, ah...You have no idea what's in my kitchen, and where my utensils and ingredients are at. Or how my stove works." Now, nobody could ever out cook the water elemental, and although he was a nice guy, he wouldn't let ANY rookie chef use his kitchen. Ever. Period.

"Actually though, I was pretty disappointed in that crap the school calls food today. Let me cook something up. Something healthy. Not taking no for an answer." Yosuke patted Kevin on the back as he walked back towards the house, trying to ease up his friend's frustration. Yosuke was a worrier yeah, but that guy took it a completely different direction. "Cus obviously, nearly on my friends are obsessed with destroying their bodies with junk food." He passed by Kira and his anxiety over her condition increased. Yosuke knew the pre-mature signs of a breakdown. He could try his best to make her feel better. "Right, Kira?" He said with a grin and a wink.

Kisami damn near punched the man in the face. It was only decades of discipline training, and the fact that she could sense he was also a Demon, that had her merely seething instead of tearing him to shreds. As it were, she settled for shoving him backwards with the burst of wind that swirled around her body, simultaneously taking a step back and throwing out an arm in front of Cyan. "I don't know who you are, who you think you are, or why you think you're leaving with us," she scowled in a tight, low voice, "but you had better reconsider that introduction before I rend you limb from limb right where you stand." The combined disrespect to herself, to Cyan, and most of all, to Takaya, was inexcusable and unacceptable.

Ashnod

Falling backwards and over onto the ground, Ashnod slowly began crying. Most odd for a Demon, but sure enough, he was crying. "W-w-why are you so m-m-mean!?" He shouts through tears. He lets his power go for a moment, and creates a bubble of fire around himself, cutting himself off from sight, once they can't see him, Ashnod stands up, stops crying almost immediately, and smiles manically. "I-I-I just wanted to have s-s-some fun!" He shouts from within the flames, pretending to still be crying.

After he'd given Kisami a few moments to feel sorry, or lack thereof, for him. Ashnod dismissed the fires and was once more visible to the pair, it was clear that he was... a little nuts to say the least. "Alright, if you so demand, I guess I will cut the bullshit. My full name is Ashnod the Crimson. Maybe you've heard of me, I'm the one solely responsible for the great Venisian fires which occurred during the renaissance, at your service... partly. I was told to come here to help, by whom I will not say, but I will tell you that whether or not yo like me, you're unfortunately stuck with me. As I am you." Ashnod bowed politely after he finished speaking.

Cyan looked at Kisami with insterest. She hadn't seen that look on her friends face in a long time. "Takaya? A leader? I guess that I could meet him." She whispered under her breath, "I guess I could meet him..." Her thoughts were lost as she felt a small drain on her powers. The unconscious children laying at their feet made her sick to her stomach. She still hated fighting, but knew it had been necessary in this case, gladly, they had not been killed. "Yes, dispos-" Her words were cut short by a man who had come towards Kisami, he was taller than her, which was normal. She being only four feet six inches tall, she must have looked like a child to him, to everyone.

At the appearance of Ashnod, Cyan hid behind Kisami, though she wasn't truly frightened, she was just a little shocked by his sudden appearance. I must be losing myself... Why didn't Mother tell me? This confused her as she gazed at the trees around them with concern. The gust of wind Kisami used seemed to have forced the intruder backwards. "I don't know why insist on speaking so poorly for one so young, but it can't be helped." Cyan mumbled to herself. Cyan couldn't believe his attitude, even having just met them.

Her emerald eyes glowed a somber green as she watched both Kisami and Ashnod. "Excuse me," She said using a vine to tap on Ashnod's shoulder from behind Kisami. "But, um, I am Cyan Nykyrian. Pleased to meet you." She gave a courteous bow but said little more. She had been raised to treat even the worst sort with at least a little measure of respect. She wanted to keep everyone at a distance, so she only said very little to those she did not trust.

Cyan touched Kisami's back again, this time transfering her thoughts to her. "Let us go to Takaya, I have a need to speak with him... He may know of something I have been seeking answers too." She returned her attention to the both of them, as if nothing had been said...

OOC:
I am sorry, I have been very busy with work, so I may be slow in posting. However, I like where this is going, but can we try to get more Elemental's involved with the Demon side? It seems to be splitting off into two different RP's?

It was easier to let them yell and pull and eventually they would settle down. She took a step back to put some space between herself and the fighting. It must be something twins do... what siblings do. It was nice. It was a little scary. She'd always wished her father would remarry someone nice, but he was obsessed with his latest novel. She swallowed- how would she explain the absence?

She gave a wary smile to Yosuke, a shaky hand adjusting her mended lenses. She wondered how long she could hide it. Maybe if she wrote a letter to her grandmother. No- Grandmother would tell her father. Her strawberry head bobbing to his words but the gesture was almost neutral. Kira leaned against the wall, her ribs hurt a little. She continued to rub at her forearms, hiding her raw wrists under her sleeves, "I-I th-think th-that y-you sh-should w-work t-t-tog-g-geht-ther," she whispered.

Ashnod

Ash smiled as Cyan greeted him, a twisted display of his interest in the girl. "Hello tiny one. It's nice to meet you." His words had that kind of spine-chilling tone to them which would make most anyone want to back away from him slowly for fear of their own life... and sanity. He didn't spend much attention Cyan, she was small, and seemed a little too weak to hold Ash's interest, so he turned his attention back to Kisame. "Well, this Takaya, when are we going to meet him? Because as much as I do so enjoy the sight of unconscious children... they're boring me now." Ash had taken up a decidedly deadpan expression as he looked down at the children at their feet, once he'd finished speaking, he walked closer to one, drawing one of his legs back, and kicked the child in the side, hard.

((OOC: I would have to agree with Hynoki, we need some form of interraction between the two factions. I had thought to bring Ash over there first to solve this, but felt it better not to cause he'd be severely outnumbered, and with his personality... he wouldn't have been the most subtle of intruders.))

Kevin Kelly

Darkness elemental

Everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence...

Kevin watched the rest of his group head inside, silently berating himself for how he'd acted just now. Obviously i'm not cut out to be a leader, but if I don't do it, no one will, and we'll be stuck in a sort of limbo, waiting for the demons to destroy us he sighed again, turning away from the house. He headed back towards the school, thinking about all the things their little group had been through in the last little while.

On his way back to the school, he caught sight of what looked like flames in the forest out of the corner of his eye. "Great, if the forest is On fire, we're all doomed." He said to himself, changing his course to head toward the source. Before he reached it though, the flames went out, which meant either there was another fire elemental he didn't know about, or someone had just doused their campfire maybe...either way, Kevin decided to check it out, and began using his powers to help, shadow walking, as it was called, from trees shadow to trees shadow.

Soon he was on the edge of a clearing, where three young people stood. He was just in position, hiding himself in darkness, when Ashnod began introducing himself. As the conversation between the three continued, Kevin felt a sort of cold sweat up his back. Demons....probably the ones looking for us too Kevin's hand came up, clutching his necklace in his hand, causing it and him to glow faintly, as he prepared himself in case he was spotted. He continued watching and listening so he could learn as much as possible about the demons.

...and I learn to be content there in the darkness.

Proving once again to be completely susceptible to Kira's adorably shy- shaky voice, Yosuke sighed. "Well...yeah..I guess Sarah could help out...maybe with ingredient prep.." Agh, dammit. He really needed to learn how to say no to that girl. Although, today wasn't really the day to pick up that skill. "Hey...wait. Where'd mister tall dark and mysterious go?" Yosuke peeked his head outside again. Gone. He knew his nickname for his friend was just a joke, but still, that dude sure knew how to keep people guessing. He'd give him a call in a bit, to make sure nothing was wrong.

"Welp. You guys know the drill. I've got games, indoor pool for you of course Ryan, movies, and everything else that the Junes mall executives toss in here for promotions." Yosuke paused a bit. Yeah..Junes' revered executives. A married couple that had taken the company to an international fame. "Huh...Wonder how they're doing." It had been what, three or four months since he last saw his parent's now? He think they called sometime last month to check up. They weren't like, bad parents by any means, whenever they were around, they all were happy enough. But...well, things got hard running everything by himself. The stress piled up on him sometimes.

Yosuke looked down. He had no idea why he was thinking about his folks at a time like this, there were other people to be worrying about. "Ah..I..I'll be in the kitchen, guys.." He said, not sadly, but without his usual gusto as he looked away from everyone and walked into the kitchen.

Cyan couldn't hide a smirk at Ashnod's dismissal of her. Not very bright for a demon, but eh, why should I care? Cyan thought, she now stood beside Kisami, her expression one of cheer. Even with Ashnod's apparently bad attitude, Cyan was just one person who couldn't be brought low by it. She didn't see why he would be in such a mood, but in her mind it didn't matter much, as long as he left her alone and her Mother alone.

"They are only unconscious, not unfeeling." Cyan said cheerfully, placing a gentle hand on the closest one, which just happened to be one of the girls who had not had a chance to run away. ...someone's watching us... She felt her power ebb just a bit, a signal another person was near. This time, she paid attention to it. Lifting her fingers to her lips she kissed them then placed them on the earth beside the unconscious girl. "Mother, speak to me..." She whispered. Not a demon, must be a human - an elemental? Could he be enemy or friend? Should I warn the others? I think... I'll greet him... With a gentle giggle, Cyan melted into the earth like a drop of rain.

Moving through the earth's spirit, she came to stand next to Kevin, "Hello." Cyan said, she couldn't understand why she wasn't shy about meeting him, but she also didn't dwell on it for now. Maybe a bit of Kisami's powers seeped into me when I gave her my powers...? Cyan glanced around, making sure no one saw them together. With a smile she continued to probe the young man, Kevin.

"So, enjoying the view? I didn't know elementers had to use con-con..." She tried to sound unafraid, but she couldn't quite say the word 'conductors' without a small twinge of fear. For her own Gem hung about her forehead, emerald green, but it was a special one, given to her by the Keeper of Nature in the Spirit world. She wasn't going to reveal anything about herself if she didn't have to. Being a desired healer, she wasn't going to start bonding with anyone until she knew their character, this time...

"I don't think watching your fellow elementers be beaten up is a healthy sign, as much as I hate violence, it was necessary," Cyan mentioned, placing a reassuring hand on her forehead covering the gem there. "I don't approve of killing, but they will live, thankfully." She spoke like a child, only coming up to his waist and grinning up at him.

While she hadn't particularly enjoyed the other man's hysterics, Kisami was grateful for a more proper introduction. The Venetian fires...once again, he was another demon much older than herself. He had been starting bonfires for sport at least two hundred years before she was even born. She wouldn't have thought so from his childish, immature behavior, but from the looks of it, he was someone they wanted on their side. And, according to him, they were stuck with him, so no use arguing.

Cyan introduced herself to him, relaying a short message by thought to Kisami as she did so. She nodded absently in concurrence, flinching slightly as he kicked one of the children. Sadistic, she thought to herself. While she certainly wasn't sympathizing with the Elementals, she had already punished them--it made no sense to hurt them when they couldn't even feel it. She glanced at Cyan, noticing the unusually cheerful smile on her face. Talk about role reversal--smiling like a maniac was supposed to be her job.

Suddenly Cyan disappeared with a whisper Kisami couldn't catch. Raising an eyebrow, she listened on the wind, and caught the tail end of Cyan talking to someone. Another intruder? Another unruly child that she insists on not killing? Biting on her lip, Kisami stamped her way over to where Ashnod stood.

"So, listen," she said. "I'm Kisami Kitakaze, Demon of Wind and Lieutenant to Commander Nykoro. I may be young, but I am more than capable. If you don't want to listen to Takaya, that's fine; but know that you will have to answer to me. If you are who you say you are, we are more than happy to welcome you to our ranks. But make this more difficult than need be, and we'll have some problems, me and you." Kisami gave him one of her trademark grins. Wind and fire, their relationship would be rife with arguments and fighting, but hopefully they could use it to their advantage to finally win the war.

"Anyhow, If Cyan wants to go play angel of mercy again, I won't stop her. I'm sure she can handle herself on her own, she knows how to contact me if not, and Takaya is no doubt become impatient with my lateness," she said, skipping about in a circle. "My orders were to bring back the Nature Demon when we finished here, but...I think he will forgive me if I bring you first. That is, if you'll become our comrade?" She stuck out her hand to him, hoping he would accept her offer of neutrality. Obedience and order within their ranks was crucial to their success; even if she hated his loud, flashy, obnoxious ways, she knew she still needed his help.

Ashnod

The child's threats struck a chord with Ash, and he broke out into a laughing fit when he saw her evil, toothy grin. "Oh my, oh, oh, oh my. I didn't realize we had something in common. Though, I would advise you reconsider making threats to your elders, I'm more combat experienced than you by far, and I know ways of using my powers that would render yours useless, furthermore, your powers feed mine so it would be foolish to fight me. What's more... don't make threats to the people you're trying to recruit, I know we're demons, but still. There's some lines, you'll notice I haven't threatened you, nor have I attacked you." A lunatic as he was, Ash was right on all counts, using his powers he could create a vacuum around himself, making it impossible to hurt him with any wind powers, though he'd eventually suffocate if he kept it up for an extended amount of time. Crazy as he was, Ash still knew the rules of Demon Law, and obeyed them when needed.

"I have to say, your friend disappoints me... Angel of Mercy you say? That hardly fits a demon..." He reached out and placed a finger in Kisami's hand rather than shake it. "I will join you, and while I will do what I am told when it counts... I will go about it my own way, that will not change, for anyone." He said as he stepped back, and looked around. "So, lead on, I'm eager to meet our leader, Just don't blame me if he doesn't live up to my personal expectations..."
