*He smiled, "I just wanted you to know you have the choice... if you ever find someone batter them me. We both know your too good for a kid like me..." he laughed, "and somehow i ended up with two princess! you ask me i'm doing pretty good." He now eased up and let loose alittle more.

Kiera frowned further. She wished he'd stop saying that. "I'm not feeling any more reassured. Now stop." Her eyes twitched under their lids. "There's only one problem with people who aren't you. They aren't you." Her legs stopped their gentle splashing, and she discarded her coat and jacket to the side in the warmth.

He laughed, "sorry sorry." He was now feeling alot better, he was sure of a few more things then he was beforehand. However he wondered somthing... but kept it to himself being it didn't mean anything to her. He then walked over to where she was and at down.*

She exhaled a little, then rolled over so that her head was on his knee. However her eyes were still closed. "If it's bothering you then it does mean something to me." She made it apparent that she read his mind. Although this was the case most of the time. Just not her being more open about it.

*SHorstraw looked to her. "The only thing thats bothing me is the fact that theres somone i expect to apper here looking for asher. And that someone will be the hunter i trained with. She has somthing aginst asher i think... somthing personal. I'm afrade that i may not be able to keep asher alive if i don't keep an eye on her. She's my ally but not the others they will still kill asher if they get the chance. And would you stop reading my mind... it's... really rude." He laugehd.

Kiera smiled. "I wouldn't be so worried about Asher. She's survived for a while with the demon hunter menace at her tail, she can carry on regardless of your new friends. Demons are good at adapting to new situations. That's what makes them so bloody hard to kill." She chuckled. "A demon hunter with a personal grudge. Well that'll be fun for Asher. She's already being rejected from her own kind for having a deal with a demon hunter. She's having the worst of it already." She chuckled again. "I told you before, reading minds is an automatic thing. I can't exactly flip a switch."

*Shorstraw nodded* "I know, sorry i forgot it was a natral uncontrolable thing." He chukkled at her... then the seemed to think about it. He never ment to make it harder on Asher... and he knew she would never ask him for help, more or less would she really show it probably when he was around. She had alot of pride... he looked up to keria seriously, "I need to take care of Asher. Before she was ever my mount, she was was my freind. There are many things i couldn't do the other hunters could. The one after asher is far by the best out of all of us... i being the last int he numbers. I will..." suddenly his eyes lit up and he looked away in the middle of his sentince. "I feel one nearby..." he slowly stood up.

Kiera gained her frown back, and rested her head on the ground instead. Looks like now wasn't the time, although it was fast approaching. She'd have to tell him sooner or later. Or she feared her own anticipation might get the better of her. She didn't get up, just shut her eyes and crossed her arms across her chest. "Oh joy." She simply replied. Clearly not showing the greatest of enthusiasm.

*Shortstraw stared off for a moment then shied and sat back down. "it's just paradioa. Faulse alarm." He smiled, "it's really cool. Now i can like sence stuff far away..." He laughed and looked to keria again.

She raised her eyebrows. "Well that's all well and good. But it's no use if you're always going to get false alarms like that one." She yawned, then tilted her head to the side, stretching. "Welcome to the superhuman life, kid. You're going to have fun here."

*Shorstraw chukkled* "Well i have forgotten about paradioa up till now. I can reconize asher and paradioa already. Oh and Veria too... which is why she hasn't been stocking me alot latly since she found out what i was." He laughed and nodded, "I never thought i would be spechal you know. No i know what i feels like." He nodded.

She yawned again. "Special doesn't even begin to describe.." She looked to the water, then sat up, putting her boots and jacket back on. However she wasn't facing him. "You know, what you said is a lie. It may not be apparent to you. But it was a lie nonetheless. I was aware of it." She tightened her boot strap.

She looked to him out of the corner of her eye, then back to her other boot. "You know. I'm nothing like Amelie. But since you've been gone, i've been subjected to some.. misdoings." She stood up, brushing herself off, then turned to face him. "I'll be honest with you now, just to give you a heads up. Because i like you, kid. Always have. You said just before that you think that i'm too good for you. Well. I'm here to tell you it's most likely the other way around." She was just getting started. However she paused. She wanted to get the most satisfaction out of this as she could.
Meanwhile, back at the castle. Hikari was changing the sheets off everyones beds. Apart from Veira's that is. Hikari walked into Kiera's room next, with a basket nearly full of dirty washing. However when she walked in, the room was spotlessly clean. The curtains drawn. The bed made. When it came to a closer inspection, none of Kiera's things were actually there.

*He smerked* "Are you kidding me! Before i was just a human boy with no where to go, no one to turn too, and nothing left to live for. You are a princess, and your smart, and powerful, and really pretty among other things. Plus i know i can always talk to you. Like right now. I can tell theres somthing up..." He looked up to her in confussion, "wait why are you bringing this up anyways..."
