Norvie stiffened, his whiskery-mustache twitching as he tried his hardest to fight the urge to hiss and scuttle off into a dark place away from the reptile. Selene was a good person, he had had years and years to try to get over his.... phobia. But even Halloweeners could have fearful quirks. "I'm sure he's just... just having fun. Don't worry about him and... and if he does keep bothering you, I'll have a word with him, okay?" He forced himself to pay her arm at his elbow reassuringly, and wished frantically he was wearing his gloves. Oh god, her scales, so cold... ---- "Y'know, pink really aint your color," Enzo smirked, resting his chin on his arms on the back of the chair ahead of him. Frustration, though, she wore that well.

Pink isn't her color? OF COURSE IT WASN'T! "UGHHHHH!" Bea ruffled her temporarily pink hair into a nest from frustration. With the lack of words, she had for the boil, she made her way up to Enzo, bent over, and violently coughed in his face before walking back to her seat.

Selene's eyes widened to saucers and she nodded fervently, scuttling out from behind Norvie and reaching for the chocolates. "Oh, thank you so much!" She squeaked up at him, before grinning softly back at Norvie. "That is a very sweet sentiment, Norvie. I appreciate that.. it's good to know I still have friends here. I think.. I'm going to need them!" She giggled and then immediately hushed herself, embarrassed by the sound. She popped the chocolate in her mouth and clapped her hands together happily. "It is just like old times, is it not?"

Before she knew what was happening a survey was shoved into her hands. Mei looked it over quietly pondering out the questions. Pulling a pen from inside one of her sleeves, she began to scribble down answers as she waited for Leo to join her. DETH SURVEY! HUMANS AND YOU! Name: Meixiang Year: Y1 How much do I know about Humans? Not a lot honestly. What do Humans eat? Twigs? What do Humans do in their spare time? Sleep and make little humans. What is the best way to check you are scaring a healthy Human? Scare them a lot and see if they survive? What is the difference between a Human and citizen of Halloween? Humans are....pinkish? And have no real powers. If you saw a Human who was hurt, what would you do? Probably let it be. Especially if it was a young Human. I hear if you touch them the mothers won't take it back. Satisfied with her answers she handed the form back in and tucked her pen away. Ephebe Apparently Leo walks slow. 8D

Chuckling Rengath smirked at Norvie. The man might be skittish but he wasn't running. Rengath had to admire the man for getting that far, especially given how he was touching Selene and not shaking. Well done Norvie, well done. Handing the chocolate off he popped the one in his mouth, smiling. "Mhm.. We were never close, but you've never been one to seek trouble Selene. My office is open if you have need of me. Or need a place to hide. The stage pit if usually empty." He tapped his chin. "Usually." Occasionally it was filled with gnomes trying to get out of work but hey that wasn't the worst. A quick look around. "All that's really missing is Pyre setting something on fire, and R-" His voice stopped. "Apologies." He ate a few more chips.

West had missed the posters. He had missed a lot of things since they had returned from the hunters' island. The only reason he was even here was because he had been looking to hand in some homework and had noticed something going on in the auditorium. He had also heard a voice in his head, and since he'd only ever met two individuals who could do something like that, and he hadn't seen either of them in quite some time, he decided to investigate. Tugging at his sleeve in a way that seemed almost obsessive, the demon entered the room only to have a piece of paper flung at him. Was this a class? Glancing back at the teacher, his ears docked against his head again and he looked away. He hadn't meant to make her feel that nervous. Hell, he didn't know he could make a teacher nervous. He figured all the teachers here would be used to everything kids had to throw at them. He sighed and turned to her fully before sighing. "I'm sorry," he said to her, swallowing thickly before looking back to Jack, who was introducing himself. "Jack? That's a good name," he said, nodding a little more. Jack was simple and easy to remember. Even the boils full name was easy. Jack-B-Nibble. The showmenship that Jack did in smooth, well practice movements didn't go unnoticed either. It made the Stag grin wide and he gave out a small chuckle at that. "Well, well.. Aren't you a smooth feline? So, Jack is it? Like the ryme I've heard before?"

Norvie became very interested in the ceiling, his lips pursed around his sharp teeth. He didn't like thinking about... then. He cleared his throat, "Well, who's excited about a field trip, eh?" He desperately tried to lighten the suddenly sour mood. "Learning, all around! I bet this will be good for many of them, especially the more.. er... troubled students, yes? I mean, it's not the human's fault-" he cleared his throat again, deciding it was much better to stuff his face with chips. "Dibjoocrunchcrunchknow ver'fa way t' make a ray-gun-ouffa'crunch Tinfoil? It involves exact origamical folding to refract the reflective surfaces in JUST the right way, but I'm pretty sure there's a calculation to be had there..."

For some reason, Lou was happy as a lark at the perspective of such an interesting field trip. The boil practically skipped in with big, curious eyes. Almost child-like, really.
"I will hug ALL THE HUMANS!" The boil declared and threw up his arms, grabbing one of the surveys and a pen. Oh, he was up to something for sure. After seeing the horrors of what had happened to the Four Clans--now the Lost Clans--Serafina's views of humans were solidified. It was hard to tell why she was even here, really, questioning what made her sit in the auditorium as she twirled her pen around.
Curiosity, she supposed, though, "Have you hugged your human today?" almost gave her the answers she needed before she even sat down in the auditorium. Indeed, there were all types here, including those who would be happy to have those terrifying humans around.
The survey that was handed to her was taken with a small sort.
Alright, fine, she'd give them what they wanted. She had no fears being honest here considering the horrors they had seen. Leo had stopped on her way over to Mei to listen to the minipet talking. Well, she figured it was the minipet anyway, but it was a bit of a shot in the dark. Before being turned into a minipet herself she wouldn't have thought that the little things would be capable of something like that, but she felt now that maybe she'd been underestimating them a bit. When the little telepathic speech was over, she finally made her way over to her friend. "Hey," she whispered quietly, "another attack of the stalker, huh?" Imryn was late. Very late from the looks of things, flying off to one corner of the room and looking around for a seat. After taking a look around at the others that were there, she noticed the fliers they were filling out and managed to snag a blank one that had landed on the floor. "Hmm... well I guess it can't hurt..."

What is the difference between a Human and citizen of Halloween? Us from Halloween are made from FEAR. Humans aren't.
If you saw a Human who was hurt, what would you do? Leave it alone or eye it from afar. Might be a trap or you might end up making things worse. Humans are all over the place and others will come along soon enough.
Ok, so they probably weren't the best answers, but considering the only Humans she'd seen were Hunters, at least she wasn't wanting to kill them all. Just because there were a few bad eggs in the bunch hadn't convinced her that all humans were bad. Not all of them could fight probably... so they still had a chance.

Mitsu had gone silent in her seat looking tired as she sank down in it, watching Shun with furrowed brows. It wasn't until the slender man showed up that she leaned away, still regarding the substitute teacher as well as the reaper as they conversed.
"No, I don't think so." She murmured. It was hard to say if she was talking to someone or not. It really seemed like she was having her own conversation, her lips pursing almost thoughtfully.
Without much thought to what came out of her mouth Mitsu turned forward again, staring at the mini pet professor.
