Jerry wasn't sure what to make of the situation. Seeing the creatures contained behind glass put them in a new light. They certainly looked like lost highschoolers, maybe junior high with some of them. Sasha was asking him something, and he blinked, pushing his glasses up his nose, "What? Oh! Er, I could look but can they even eat our food? There might be some Fear Candies in the minipet labs..." Somehow he didn't think giving them any extra Fear was a smart decision. But if they were *candies* and for the minipets, it couldn't be that strong...
Suddenly, though, things changed. They were allowed to go out and about.
Glancing to the one that had been speaking to Deryk, he hesitated. How was the bedraggled (zombie?) girl know Petra? She seemed, covered, though, and he felt conflicted on what to do about the situation.

Zar listened to the announcement with a growing smirk.
"I choose Rin." He remembered her name, he didn't need to describe her.
"Walkies?" he asked her, inclining his head slightly with a smirk.

Interesting Conversationalist

Deryk and Amrita would continue to chat, but no reply would come to the text. Seconds would pass to minutes, the hands of an invisible clock clicking definitively as time passed, but the other hunter's phone would remain silent, no tell-tale buzz of an answer to disrupt their conversation. This was not unusual; while Petra was the prompt type, she was also the kind of person whose answers and appearances were dictated by her own, logical sorting of priorities. It was quite possible she was busy, either assigned to the observation deck or to another mission, and therefore was not at liberty to reply.
In this instance, however, Petra was not busy. In fact, upon receiving the text, she had made a b-line towards the labs, her stride lengthened to cover more distance. She merely hadn't replied to the text because she had planned to be there as soon as possible.
Stepping up behind the other hunter politely, the death trainee nodded to Deryk in greeting before she shifted her midnight gaze to the window, looking out at where Amrita and the other students were held. In her hand, one of the full hunters had passed her a clipboard, apparently having filled her in on their current mission, and she braced it against her arm, jotting a few things she already knew down.
"Are you acting as her core analyst?" She asked the blonde in an impassive tone. She would, of course, be deferring to him, meaning she planned on offering him all her notes after she was finished speaking with Amrita. Touching the mic with one hand, she peered through the window at the undead girl, no small amount of dislike in her cold blue eyes. There would be no pleasantries between them. They had enough history to ensure of that.

"Thank you, Yǐn Cáng. I would love to get some fresh air." She was thrilled to have the chance to spend some time one-on-one with the specimen. Her mind was reeling. This was so exciting. [[exit]]

He could see her through the glass, though it was made slightly difficult by the fact that Gale was standing relatively far away from it, his lips pressed together in a thin line, his expression one of deliberately muted annoyance.
<< So she IS here. >>
The dragon's voice sounded musing, almost thoughtful, and Gale slowly lifted his arms, folding them across his chest. The sunglasses perched on the bridge of his nose obscured the flash of his eyes towards the familiar figure in the other room, the way they narrowed just a little.
He didn't know what to say. Gale closed his eyes briefly, took a deep breath, and then stepped towards the microphone, pressing down the button to talk.
"Good evening."

Rin tried to cover her face with the clipboard and scuddle away but immediately froze in her tracks at hearing her name called out. She slowly slunk back and sighed, "Would you prefer seeing buildings or... grass?"
She tried to pretend she didn't just try to run away there.

"She was the first Hunter that--" Someone else was in the room, and suddenly all the sound stopped. The ghoul watched on as everyone moved and gestured, spoke and flailed (okay maybe less flailing, but in her head). All the silence did was make her more suspicious, and her gaze turned to regard one gangly Hunter with burns. Was it just her imagination, or did he keep looking at her? Huh.
The microphone turned back on and the news was...honestly not what she expected. Able to leave the room? Really? Huh. That was...pretty awesome, actually. She was still hesitant, still imagining that this was some ploy to destroy them one by one, but if this were true...it would be nice to get out of this room. Maybe even a look around the facilities would be a good idea! Get some intel while she could.
Petra appeared, and Amrita smiled. By all accounts it was as nice of a smile as a patchwork with only half a face could muster, but it was the first one that didn't reach her eyes.
"Let's walk, Petra." Amrita said, a little bit too sweetly.Quote: Amrita- Trust: 10% 2% 7% - Calm: 30% - Obedience: 35% - Approachability: 35% - Appearance: Basically this, only not smiling, missing the left half of her face (clear down to the bone), and with vines curling out from the stitches on her left wrist.

Michael casually slipped into the room just as the proposition for taking some of the students out for a walk was made. Humming in thought to himself he leaned against the back wall looking at them through the glass.
He wouldn't mind the chance to get to talk and walk with one but he wasn't quite sure how to approach this.
<<You say 'Hello.' instead of sulking in a corner like a creeper.>>
Michael rolled his eyes.

"Oh, Sasha, wait-" And she was gone. Jerry sighed, fidgeting with his blank clip board before glancing to the other creatures... it seemed most of them were handled already. Maybe he would get off easy? This sort of thing was more of a Life job anyway... Even so he couldn't help but be curious. It was a shame they hadn't caught that horrible loud-mouthed Zombie, though. Trying to tune out the conversations between hunters and students was harder than she thought it would be. They were trying to earn their trust, only for their purposes. This kindness they were showing, it was feigned. It wasn't real at all.
When it came around to everyone heading out for their..'walk', Mei couldn't help but sneer at some of the faces behind the glass. She felt like they were all pets, stuck in a cage. It was humiliating!
Still, she refused to talk to any of them. She gave them her name already, and she would leave it at that. Or so she thought. Hearing a familiar voice speak out, Mei found herself looking to the window again, only to spot the blond boil. "Gale..?" She let out a small laugh, shaking her head before continuing. "Its hardly 'good', don't you think?"Quote: Trust: 20% Calm: 15% Obedience: 10% Approachability: 20% Appearance: Looks like this

Deryk had begun to wonder if Petra had received his text, but after the labtechs explained what was happening, he just nodded to them and turned back to Amrita. Shortly after, he noticed the hunter she had requested arriving after all. "O-oh hey Petra and um. Core analyst? Uh. Well. Just came in here to see what was going on and noticed her. So.. guess you could say that. Maybe," he frowned while scratching his head. He supposed that in a way, he was just that. He didn't really like to think about it though. The hunter had been taking mental notes and whatnot, but it just... It felt weird. Turning towards Amrita, he furrowed his brow as she picked Petra for the walk. "Um... Ok.."

The siren cocked his head. "Uh.. Sydney? Jason?" The siren began listing names. "Madison, Gale, Bix... I am fine with anyone really. Those are just people I have met before." He saw one shadow leave and he cocked his head. "So queer." Quote: Trust: 45% Calm: 45% Obedience: 30% Approachability: 40%

Rin opened the door for the demon, "Come along then, haven't got all night."
As soon as he cleared the door she started to lead the way out of the area, clearly a place in mind.
