Akitana made her way to the Academy, stopping only for a moment when she was inside to look at the group of people already there. These people must have been lucky enough to have had been put in a team. She scratched her cheek, wondering briefly if she would get put in to a team with the other girl, the purple haired one, that she had seen at the office. She moved to a clear part of the academy and pulled out a book she had brought from her home here in the village. She looked at the huge fox drawn on the front, this was the book given to her by her aunt containing all of the information about the justu of her clan; she could barely contain her excitement.
She opened the book and read through the first jutsu and what she would need, before moving over to the wall and turning off the lights. She slowly felt her way back to the middle of the room, before making a few hand seals and concentrating chakra to go to her eyes. The first attempt didn't work as well as it should have; instead of being able to see everything, she was only able to see a fuzzy washed out image. So she tried once more, concentrating harder this time, and this time it worked. The kitsune looked around, wide eyed, as she could see almost perfectly at everything in the room. Her eyes, to anyone seeing her, would be glowing almost multicolored in the darkness. Akitana broke the jutsu and walked back over to the wall and turned back on the lights. Akitana moved on to her next jutsu, going back to her book to look up the information on it. Once she was sure she knew enough she made a few handseals, focused her chakra aannndd..... what came out what a little blue fox sprite that floated wobbly in front of her face for a few moments before disappearing. The kitsune puffed her cheeks, before making the hand seals and trying once again. This time two perfect, but fiery and blue, copies of herself appeared in front of her. They looked confused and mind-blown at their very existence, looking all around and at themselves. Akitana quickly dispersed them before they became sure they were part of sime time-paradox or something, and then moved on. [ 1 / 1;; Konpeki: Bunshin [ Azure: Clone ] Learned! ]
On to the next jutsu, Akitana thought as she opened her book once more to look through the jutsu. She made a few handseals, concentrating a ball of blue fire in her hand, she went to throw it, but it withered away out of her hand. She must not have made it stable enough.... She concentrated and preformed the jutsu one last time, throwing the ball of fire one last time. This time it stuck to the ground. Akitana moved back, hiding behind a dummy before making the hand seal to release the jutsu. The ball of fire rapidly expanded, and once it was gone she rushed to put out the fire. The next jutsu was a little different than the jtusu she had used previously, it was a full body jutsu so she would have to concentrate a little harder. She read through the book to make sure she got all of the information on it and then she stepped back and concentrated her chakra, making sure it flowed to and fro in her body. She made a few hand seals, concentrating, then tried her best to make the air around her body heat up. She began to see a blue glow around herself, almost like ethereal flames, but had to stop after a short amount of time because the floor started to catch fire. Akitana looked around quickly to make sure no one saw the horrid mess she was making, before dispersing the jutsu and moving on to the next one. When activated, the small ball of blue fire will rapidly expand, covering a space of five to ten feet depending how much chakra is put in to the technique. Range: C rank = 10, D rank = 5 - Jutsu Name: Konpeki: Sukōchi [ Azure: Scorch ] Rank: C Element: Katon Classification: Ninjutsu Description: After making a few handseals, the user will begin to emit heat that seems to have a blue glow. Though visible, the heat seems to expand rather rapidly and is very hot. Akitana put the book full of her clan jutsu away and moved over to the library inside the academy and pulled a katon jutsu book off the shelf before going back to her own little spot. There was a Jutsu she needed to learn before she started anything else. She looked up the information she needed before putting the book down and closing her eyes, concentrating on her chakra. She molded and made her chakra flow throughout her body, she could feel the jutsu working. She walkeed over to a nearby candle and held her hand over it, and she felt no pain and had no burns show up. She smiled, pulling away her hand away from the flame of the candle. The kitsune went on to the next jutsu, studying what she would needed before going on. She stood and made a few hand seals before taking in a deep breath, then exhaling. Nothing came out. She tried again, and once again nothing came out. Now disgruntled she tried once more and a torrent of flammable mist escaped her mouth and filled the room. Akitana blinked, then looked at her hands and realized she had used the wrong handseal before and that's why it wasn't doing anything. She facepalmed, grumbling a bit at how stupid of a mistake that was before using her paper fan to blow the mist out the window. [ 1 / 1;; Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu (Mist Waltz Technique) Learned! ]

The ninja does a string of hand seals and then proceeds to blow a large combustible mist at the target. When the mist hits flame, it will ignite in an explosion of fire.
Akitana picked the book back up and read a bit more from it, looking at her next technique. She put the book down and moved over to a dummy, making the correct handseals before wrapping her arms tightly around the hay-filled thing. She focused hard, feeling the heat rising off of her body and in to the dummy. She squeezed harder and she could feel it getting hotter, but wasn't able to hold the embrace for much longer because the very dry thing burst in to flames in her arms. Aki let out a squeak and rushed to put the thing out, and made a mental note next time to practice this stuff outside. She did the technique one last time to make sure she had it down before going back to the book and moving back onto the next one. [ 1 / 1;; Hotto Houyo (Hot Hug technique) Learned! ]
Aki's next jutsu was actually a fairly easy one, one that could get her out of a bind if she needed it to. She quickly studied the handseals before moving to the center of the room where she couldnt catch anything on fire and making a few handseals. She took in a small breath before exhaling a flame from her mouth. The flame was the bright white-blue flames of her clan as was every fire jutsu she used. The flame only lasted for a few seconds before it went out, but would be painful if anyone got in her face. She preformed the jutsu once more to make sure she'd be able to use it quickly before going back to her book. [ 1 / 1;; Katon: Hoteri Ougigata no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flash Fan Technique) Learned! ]
For the next jutsu, Akitana pulled out one of her Senbon. She made a few hand seals, before taking a deep breath in, then letting it out, coughing up an oily liquid all over the senbon. She took a stance, then pulled her arm across her body and concentrated before letting the needle fly. It flew true and landed in to the dummy beside the one she had charred. She wiated for a few seconds before willing the needle to ignite, and it did thanks to the oil that was on it. The kitsune tried one last time with yet another needle, and this time willed the needle to catch fire when it was in mid air. The needle hit the dummy and Aki was pleased that the needle was already on fire when it hit its target. She walked over to the dummy and took out her senbon, pocketing them back after extinguishing them. [ 1 / 1;; Katon: Hidoko no Jutsu (Fire Release: Bed of Fire Technique) Learned! ]
Akitana looked at her next jutsu and already knew that it would be a hard one for her. She put the book down and walked over to the dummy she had previously thrown her senbon at, taking a stance in front of it. She moved her hand up and instead of making it a fist, kept it in a straight spear like pattern. She would work on the technical aspect of the jutsu first before putting any of the chakra in to it. She lunged forward, plunging her hand in to the dummy, but yelped and stumbled back, holding her hand. [ 1 // 4 ]
She tried once more to make the stabbing motion with her hand, shaking off the aching appendage before regaining her stance in front of the dummy. She took a deep breath and kept her hand stiff and strong, lunging forward and stabbing her hand in to the hay-filled insides of the inanimate object. She managed not to hurt herself this time and gave out a little "hmph" of satisfaction before practicing the move several times. She kept going back to her stance and attacking quicker and quicker with every turn, making the movement a muscle memory so she wouldn't have to think about what she was doing. [ 2 // 4 ]
Akitana then moved on to part two of learning the jutsu by sitting down and focusing on her hand. She first created a little flame on the top of her first finger, taking a deep breath and focusing on keeping it lit. She then slowly started letting the flame expand itself over her other fingers. At first it was over a second finger, then over a third, then over a fourth. She held the flame there, keeping it steady before she allowed the flame to engulf her hand. The kitsune then put the flame out and took turns exercising her control over the flame in her hand in till she was sure it was perfect. [ 3 // 4 ]
Aki then stood back in front of the dummy, putting her hand back in that spear formation and allowing the flame to engulf her hand one last time. She lunged at the dummy, aiming to send her hand through it, but her hand only hit and went a little bit through. Akitana growled a little in frustration before moving back to try once more. She took a deep breath, concentrating, before repeating the steps one last time. This time she was successful, her hand going all the way through the dummy's torso. Like the other jutsu before this one, she practiced it over and over in order to make sure that she'd be able to do it in the heat of a battle. [ 4//4;; Katon: Go (Fire Release: Five) Learned! ]

- Hotto Houyo (Hot Hug technique) Rank: D Range: - Description: When the user grab's the enemy the user's body heat's incredibly but not effecting the user to much, the heat will burn the effected person from the inside out and cause minor burn's to the outside.
- Katon: Hoteri Ougigata no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flash Fan Technique) Rank: D Description: A fairly simple jutsu, the user breaths in a fair amount of air while performing the necessary handseals and breaths it out in a short funnel of flame. Literally lasting only a few seconds, it explodes out of the mouth in a v-like wave and is a commonly used technique amongst shinobi who like to build into their attacks. The range of this flame, however, is about 3m and the flame itself isn’t held long enough to deal any real damage. Therefore, it isn’t necessarily a viable offensive option as compared to other jutsus, but it does serve its purposes since only three handseals are needed to perform this technique.
- Katon: Hidoko no Jutsu (Fire Release: Bed of Fire Technique) Rank: C Description: Defensive or offensive, this just is simple enough to have many uses. Heaving a mighty breath, a shinobi will spew an oily substance in front or even around them. It will rush forth like liquid and ignite as soon as the user wills it. The effect is obvious enough, resulting in a carpet of flame in whatever manner the user provided. It could be in a cone laid out in front of them as an opponent is rushing forth, or it could be scattered across a weapon.
- Katon: Go (Fire Release: Five) Rank: B Description: This is where the technique evolves into one of the most deadly techniques within the Leaf. This is the stage before Kaseiken, the only move of comparable strength to the Chidori within the Leaf’s arsenal. In this building block, however, the user mimics the hand movement and effect of Chidori, replacing lightning with flame. Here, unlike the techniques leading up to this, flames now spring forth from the user’s entire hand. If the user balls their hand into a fist, however, the flames immediately disperse and the jutsu is cancelled. In this way, only spear-handed attacks can be made and their potency is increased so that most defenses can now be pierced.

Kenji looked at sensei as he explained as well as his own clone. The clone seemed to be paying closer attention than he was, considering he wasn't looking around. A solid clone that could fight alongside him? Sounded like a very useful technique to have under his belt, considering all the combinations and jutsus he'd have help pulling off. He started spacing out as he plotted; being called back as sensei's clone asked him a question."Hm? Yes sir! I'm ready for the next one"he nodded, his clone mimicking his actions silently.

Haruka Hyuuga "Time to start the puppet show!" | Genin | Sunagakure | The One Girl Show | 350/350 | Hyuuga | Puppeteer | Brawler | Suiton | Doton | Haruka grinned as she watched carefully as Iwao went to work. He first showed her handseals to make her own sand, the ground beneath his feet crumbling into the loose, shifting earth. She nodded slowly before she stretched and began forming the handseals that were shown to her. [Sand Creation 1/6]
Carefully molding the chakra in her stomach as it flowed through her body, Hyuuga instinct moved the chakra mainly towards her feet and into the ground. She let her chakra saturate the area below her. Once she had enough chakra in the ground she cut the flow and stamped her foot once on the ground. [Sand Creation 2/6]
Slowly the ground began to crumble at the surface, no deeper. Frowning a bit, Haruka stomped her foot harder on the ground to be met with the same result. At first, she thought it was just a matter of not using the seals fast enough but Iwao had down them slowly for her to see and still had done the technique. [Sand Creation 3/6]
She performed the handseals once more, flooding the ground with chakra yet again. She figured she hadn't used enough chakra to the ground but midway through, she had a though. Maybe it wasn't that she used too little chakra, but the chakra in the ground dispersed too fast. It was time to change up her tactics. [Sand Creation 4/6]
Finishing off the handseals, Haruka redirected the gathered chakra to the sole of her right foot which she kept planted on the ground firmly. She expelled the chakra from that singular sole and into the ground at a steady rate, allowing it to trickle deep into the recesses of the earth. [Sand Creation 5/6]
From her sole came a small well of perfectly manipulable sand for her to practice with. She smiled as her chakra moved deeper to make more sand, stopping a short distance beneath her, but giving her enough to fill a sandbox for children. She stepped back to look at her creation. [Sand Creation 6/6 learned!]
From this point, it was a simple matter of exerting her chakra into the air towards the sand and using it she was holding it. She too formed shapes with the sand, making a sphere, a cone, and a disk before letting it cascade to the sand well she made. [Sand Manipulation 1/1 learned!]
The next two techniques were simple techniques. Being the quick learner that she was, she picked up on them right away. First, she drew water from the very air like it was nothing, making the already dry air, dryer. She smiled and nodded to herself before moving on. [Mizu Soujuu (Water Manipulation) 1/1 learned!]
Using the water she drew from the air, Haruka moved and manipulated it to her back where the water formed into tentacles with minds of their own. She smiled as they took up their own defensive positions around her. "Next?" She asked, the water falling from her back to water the ground. [Suiton: Hachi Shokushu (Water Release: Eight Tentacles) 1/1 learned!]
Techniques Used: Passives: Sand Manipulation Rank X Description: Attribute This control allows the user to manipulate sand as though it were flowing in the wind. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be levitated or shifted around as if it were wind. It should be noted that one can only manipulate sand they themselves have made, and it must be done while holding a single handsign. Additionally, sand that is freely manipulated is not very solid, and can be dispersed as if it were natural sand making it a poor choice for attacking with.

The kitsune walked back in to the academy sporting her almost full bag of projectiles. Ah, the academy... wasn't she here just a little while ago? She scratched her cheek, grumbling lightly, before making her rounds around the building. She made care to avoid the gennin that were still here training, the ones that she saw before. She picked up any spare or discarded projectiles before tying up the bag and hauling it over her shoulder. She would drop this off at the backsmith's on her way back to the dojo. The girl looked up with a bit of a start. She zoned out for a decent bit. Stretching she popped her back audibly, then leaned back over her scrolls. She sighed and pushed them forward, sitting up and thinking. She didnt really know what to do at this point. She still had a ways to go. She took a short breather before pulling the scroll back over to her. A fairly simple one that she had learned with her family in the past was the gale surge. Serving as an emergency technique it was designed to knock things away, or ; due to her smaller size, she could use it to move herself away from things. It was much simpler in execution in fact. Another she wanted to learn was how to make her steps silent. It involved the same steps as the tree climbing but utilizing wind based chakra. Perfect for someone like her. She could just focus chakra to her feet and wrap the sound in a barrier that would constantly dampen the effects of her steps. Useful in ways that could be beneficial in the future to her. Another jutsu she wanted to learn was the execution summoning whirl. A weasel of immense power that could just ******** some s**t up. The older depictions of the jutsu showed it clear-cutting a forest to ruin a superior foe. Supreme firepower at the early stages of a career. The best part about it was she learned it almost as soon as she read the scroll. She even learned that she could use the technique with her umbrella. She had a few others to learn and she supposed she should give her earth element fair treatment. First thing was first. The third eye technique. It involved harnessing sand to create an eye that would float above an area so the user could see from it. Easy enough to link the optical nerves. Thinking on it, a key to a lot of earth based jutsu that was around was learning to create and use sand. That being said it was again pretty easy to learn. All she needed to do was focus on the grains to compress them into usable amounts. Finally she wanted to learn the explosive stone replacement. She had to a little read for a bit on the technique. But she got it down quick enough. It would provide a nice big boom for her to work with, and to top if off she could make boulders out of sand, harden them and make fragmentation bombs out of them. She stood up and nodded to her sensei before taking a little walk outside.
Looking to the young Hatake, the Iwao clone smiled, “Alright, here’s a B rank offensive jutsu I know, after this, you should probably start working on your clan jutsu, but I’ll still be around if you need any help.” The clone would then begin performing handsigns and the boy would see four kunai form between Iwao’s fingers out of pure raiton chakra. Holding his kunai, the clone spoke again, “This jutsu is often underestimated by enemies since jutsu that take the shape of ninja tools are usually low ranking. But these, being pure raiton chakra, are hot enough to even punch through most metals and still do damage to opponents.” The clone would then launch the kunai at the nearest dummy, watching as they burned through the wood, lodging deep in the dummy’s chest.
The real Iwao stood watching the young Hyuuga as she ran through the jutsu he and Grym had shown her, smiling slightly. When she was done and asked what was next, he chuckled deep in his chest, much like his bear partner would, “I don’t know a lot about puppet jutsu or that much taijutsu, so maybe it’s time you start working on clan techniques or on those….Grym can help by being a sparring partner for taijutsu, he’s survived fighting with me since we were kids, so that shouldn’t be a problem.. just don’t do too much damage with your Gentle Fist training.” Turning to Grym, he warned, “And no mauling, she’s a suna-nin, and a genin…not an enemy.” Grym would grunt quickly before chuckling a bit in his deep, growling voice.

Jacksen entered the academy after a short walk from the Kazekage's tower. Removing his eyepatch, he put it into one of his pockets. He didn't want it to get torn up if something went wrong with jutsu traning. He couldn't afford to buy a new one. Taking it off revealed heavily scarred eyelids. It was actually so damaged that he couldn't even open the eyelids. Walking over to the Genjutsu section of the Academy, he rummaged through the scrolls until he found a certain one. Opening the scroll, he started to read over the various properties of what the genjutsu did. Having figured out enough to attempt it, he turned to his bored partner, Shadowmire and said. "Could you please trip this Genjutsu for me ? It involves only the sound of thunder. " Shadowmire appeared to think about it for a moment, before reluctantly nodding. He hated the sound of thunder, but would help out his partner. Jacksen touched a rock on the ground and placed the conditional genjutsu. Walking away he then waited for it to be triggered. Moments later he heard the sound of thunder booming, this meant he had successfully learned it. Holding in his cheer's for now, he walked over to Shadowmire and handed him a special jerky treat. Deciding that his body needed conditioning as well as his mind, he whistled and Shadowmire turned up at his side. Smiling down at him, he said. "Lets go my faithful Partner. Time to go train are taijutsu style." Having said all that he needed to, he walked to the entrance and calmly walked out. His footsteps leaving distant echo's in their place. [Exit Dojo]

'My clan jutsu...'the genin repeated to himself as his eyes shifted to the ground. That was what he intended to learn today until the kazekage sent him to train with Iwao. So there was no question that he had the family scroll with him and he couldn't help but feel a little...excited. But first, he would learn this last jutsu the large man had shown him.
Dispelling his clone, Kenji pulled out a kunai to use as a model. He didn't have to worry about the finer details or even the weight. All he needed to get down was the shape multiplied by four. He put the kunai away and went straight into the hand signs for the jutsu. Holding out his hand, raiton chakra gathered between his middle and index finger. [ Pure Lightning Kunai Technique (1/3) ]
Slowly it would form a medium sized mass, sparking in every which way. Now he needed to shape them into kunai, a feat that Kenji was becoming good at. Just as he molded his chakra for the other techniques, he need only visualize and focus on what he wanted it to do. Though wavy, the lightning soon took shape into that of a kunai. Sharpening and refining the shape, he held the single kunai in between his fingers. Once he finally got the one down, it was easy enough to make three more, though they still had to be straightened after materializing them. Kenji sighed in relief and exhaustion, looking to the Iwao clone who was still watching over him."Thank you sensei, I appreciate your help"he addressed the man with a bow. Standing, he pointed a little further away before stating"I'll be training over there for now so I won't be in the way."It was still close by in case he needed Iwao's help but he was hoping it wouldn't come to that. This was something he wanted to accomplish on his own, if possible.

Kimmiko sighed getting comfy where she was at. Resting her head she let her mind in a sense of calmness. Her eyes were closed so she didn't realize the man was approaching her. She was slightly startled when he spoke opening one eye she semi glared at the man. Noticing he was hovering on his staff almost effortlessly, she rolled her one open eye thinking to herself what a show off. Opening the other eye she sat upright leaning forward with her arms resting the elbows on her knees. Looking over to the man she nodded not really wanting to say much still not knowing the guys name let alone what the heck he wanted with her in the first place.
Sighing to herself she finally spoke. "Yea, the physical arts. Its my specialty. So what is yours? Hopefully its not just this." As she pointed to the hovering spear."It's kinda lacking a bit don't you think?" As she then folded her arms across her chest leaning back again crossing her feet so she was almost straight.

Kaz smiled some with a smirk. The thought of sarcasm flooded his mind. "You got me, Kids called me hover boy growing up through the academy. I can go pretty high though and if I angle it just right when I jump off it can fall with great speeds towards my target." Kaz chuckled a bit to himself before it was drawn out too long. Holding his hand in the air he manifested another spear spinning it some before holding it behind his back. "I'm more of a weapons specialist than anything, But I appreciate taijutsu far more than I do Ninjutsu." Hopping off of the spear and gripping it on the way to the ground he held both with the blades facing the ground and the staffs gripped tightly behind his sides.

Looking at the man she smiled slightly turning away for a moment she took a deep breath and then turned back facing the man. "So you love the Taijutsu styles huh?" As she then ran her thumb across her mouth like as if she were wiping something off the corner of her mouth. The look in her eye was more of almost a challenging look to it. You could see the chakra kinda like smoke coming out of her eyes as she then spoke. "Care to give this girl a workout?" As she then started shaking her hands and bouncing back and forth on her feet almost as if getting herself ready to spar. Holding her hands up open palmed she stared at the man in front of her waiting to see what his answer would be.
Nodding to the little Hatake, Iwao smiled “Alright, Kenji, I’ll be over here working on my own bloodline jutsu if you need me.” He then Made a quick handsign and a clone formed out of iron sand, looking back at him. The two of them together would reach deep into the ground, pulling up large amounts of gold and silver sands from the earth. Once they had a large pile of it, Iwao sent his clone over to a nearby dummy, telling it to work on magnetizing and raising the magnetic strength on the dummy. As the clone face the dummy, Iwao raised his hands, lifting the gold and silver sands into two large spheres. Once he had the spheres created, the giant jounin magnetized them with opposing fields. As he brought them together, he felt the repulsive forces build, to the point that he was having a hard time forcing them together. The clone with the dummy had finally managed to magnetize the wooden dummy, watching as it’s finger was pulled towards it slightly.
Trying some more, Iwao the original forced the spheres of gold and silver together, feeling their repulsive forces rise exponentially. As he finally got them to merge, they blew apart, scattering shining metal sand across the room in front of him, which hardened as it streamed form the merged spheres to form large spikes of silver and gold. The clone would focus more on the wooden dummy, increasing the power of his magnetic field, he performed a few handsigns and suddenly felt its whole body pulled towards the dummy strongly. Smiling, the clone dispersed itself.
