Miguel did the 'Do it face to his friend' before she walked over to John. He would have never guest that it was a teacher that she liked. He thought it was just another student.
John had been making sure the student behave themselves. It was his job to do so. When he noticed that Shikyo was coming his way the man finished his orders to a student before turning towards her. He was a little surprised that she remembered. The man smiled and offered his hand. "Well then. Shall we dance then?" He asked offered his arm to the young woman.

 Allison walked in to the ball knowing she was late in a white dress with black trim and a bow on the front. and wearing black heels with bows on the top she looked around at the place and at the people then sat down in a chair and watched every one in, and how happy people were it made the young spirit nymph smile

Rebecca Lawrence | OutfitKnowing that the resemblence between herself and her brother was normally obvious, she nodded in agreement as he said such. Taking another bite of her brownie, she looked back from her brother, only to have her gaze caught by Simon. He spoke, saying something that she briefly remembered hearing once before, causing her to smile wryly. It was an amusing thought, though she supposed it held merite, since she could easily tell many things by looking at a person's eyes, even without her added ability. His next words caused her to pause and think for a moment, then she answered lightly, "Of course it does. Just because a person isn't there doesn't mean that it could suddenly fall silently."

 He heard her speak again, and smiled "Yeah, thats what I think, and besides that, the question never acounts for a lack of animals to hear it does it?" he said, pleased by her answer, although now he'd run out of things to talk about... which was unfortunate connsidering he wanted to talk to her some more... "Anything you'd like to talk about?" he asked sheepishly, it was almost always the question of someone who'd run out of subjects, which he didn't like.

She put her hands on his shoulder and her other hand was in his. "I heard there was going to be some musicale this year from a few of the students." She said as she was just making conversation as she started to dance with him, the being forced to sing was one thing but a musicale was another since she wouldn't sing on stage no matter what anyone did. John was surprised that she had gotten news of such a thing. It was still in the earliest planing stages. "Yes. It'll be a combined force of three teachers, but most of it will probably land on me because one has two small children and the other is going to be a father for the first time. They'll do what they need to do, but when it comes to organization it'll have to be me." He answered about what was going on with it. The teachers still needed to figure out what they were going to to. There was so many fun and popular plays.

She was also kind of praying that he had forgotten about the bet she lost so that she wouldn't have to deal with the play and singing! John had long forgotten his bet with her joining his class. If she didn't want to then she didn't have to. It would have only created a negative atmosphere anyways. "I hope it works out well too. This maybe will be the first year that this happens. Even if the only one who isn't in a relationship will be the one doing all the work." Once the musicals were going, it would be easy to do them more.

Shikyo said since the little kids could help paint the canvas or something, depending how old they were. "If there's any art classes then you could ask them to help as well." ((OOC smile )

John smiled. It was a lovely idea if it was possible. "I'm afraid that would be impossible as well. Ephraim, the older child, is only three years old and is a bit of a trouble maker, while Isadora, the youngest, is only three months old." He answered. It wasn't like they were five and could take instructions to do something. "Both of my co-workers are young and just starting their families." He explained a little more. He did however enjoy the company of the children.

Shikyo said as she knew kids weren't always cute, like when it got too quiet then you knew the child did something they weren't suppose to do. "But one day you'll probably do the same thing with some nice girl, even I'll probably have a few kids myself with some guy, when I'm older of course." She was only sixteen and definitively not ready for kids! ((OOC smile )

John listened to the girls words. It was certainly possible what she was suggesting, but with the amount of years that he had been the way that he was now it was less likely. "I am an ancient creature and I've had many lovers, but I have yet to have a child. There are rules that I must follow and never had the time been just right to produce a child." He answered to the girl. Jackalopes could only reproduce during a thunder and lightening storm so there it was a rare moment to create a child.

Shikyo said since it was true, no one could predict their destiny from how many turns there were in life. Even if she didn't know if there were special rules to angels reproducing, she could always ask someone but she assumed for now that it was like any other human. ((OOC smile )

John shook his head. She really didn't understand. His kind was a dying race and they were becoming rarer and rarer. "I've wanted to have children in my past, but I never have had a child. I have drawn myself into contentment to the children of my friends and those involved to my work.. One of the teachers who is working with me on the musical is a former student of mine. I am proud to see her grow into the woman that she has become and even prouder of her children." The man

Simon twiddled his thumbs for a while, mentally cursing at his current lack of subjects, he quickly called that to a halt though, not wanting to provide additional thoughts for Rebecca to block out, he took a gander at his watch, mostlyi n an effor to look busy, his eyes boggled as he saw the time, "Probably should head back to the dorms and turn in for the night." he thought, it clicked in his head then, the final section of their conversation, "Its getting late, and I'm heading back, I don't suppose you'd like me to escort you back to the dorms whilst I'm at it?" he said, extending his hand to her, he had already consumed his cake and coke before this so he needn't worry about them now.
