---l--xxI-Grimm Amarai-lxx--l--- Squad 6: Captain Men are not Prisoners of war.... ------------------------------------- Don't Ever Believe that Evil will Triumph.... ------------------------------------ With this Light of Fire I Bring..... ----------------------------------- Grimm heard what the Head Captain say about him fighting Wrath alongside himself and his Brother. 'So he wants me and Axzaki to fight alongside him? Interesting indeed.' He thought this to himself and then looked up at Kenshin. "What if myself or Axzaki happen to be the Virtue to one of the other Taizai, while we are fighting against Wrath with you? Wouldn't we be wasting our time on Wrath instead of fighting against the right Taizai?" Grimm wanted to know this whole plan before they rushed into battle like they did when they went to the Taizai's homeworld. He sighed a little and then yawned waiting to here the Head Captains next words....But prisoners of their own Mindset ------------------------------------------------- .....Even in the Darkest Days the Light Still Shines ------------------------------------------------- .....Let it Burn Through The Darkness of this World ------------------------------------------------

A y a F u j i m o t o 。◕‿◕。Third Seat of Division Ten
Hearing the Commander of the Onmitsukido's reply to her words, Aya immediately turned her head to look at her. She seemed so confident in her answer and by just they way she had said it... Aya could believe her. And so smiling a little at Eri, the young lady nodded. "Right." she said, before looking over at the Head Captain. She liked Eri's proposition. That would make her feel a little better about this little barricade of theirs.

  Squad Eleven, Lieutenant
==========Takeo Hasegawa==========
"The object of war is not to die for your country..."------- Takeo let out a sigh, you know if you constantly overwhelm him, he will not be able to think to his full capability. “If we want the plan changed, just calm down.” he said trying to calm the crowd of shinigami “I'm sure that he is very much so open minded and welcoming to your thoughts, if you feel that there is another way speak your mind, calmly and in an orderly fashion.” he said in a calm tone looking over the crowd “I know you are concerned for your squad mates, but fighting and yelling among ourselves wont get this plan into motion, however a calm and decisive planning session will.” Takeo looked back down to the floor “Things are bad, fighting ourselves will make them worse. Rushing this will bring a flawed plan that WILL get many people killed.” Takeo new that speaking out like this was beyond his position as a lieutenant and could possible bring him scoldings, but he felt this was the right action “It's best just to calm ourselves and think clearly of the best possible solution,” Takeo ended his little speech with a light sigh and a look toward the Head captain, this look was unlike the other looks he was receive as most of them had been lead by strong question. His look was a calm and welcoming one. -------"...but to make the other b*****d die for his." [Meeting hall]->[N/a] Mood: Serious. OoC:

°°° [ H ] ana Ξ [ S ] hizūmi °°° Chōhime | Jūnibantai Taichō | Technician »As events unfolded, Hana put her arm on Raiku's head and leaned against him, trying to balance herself with some relative ease. She hadn't answered when he inquired why she perched there, and she still didn't plan to. It bore little importance compared to current events. Hana chose to listen rather than speak, and watched as, one after another, arguments presented themselves. It seemed the two Commanders would war among themselves over the best way to corral them, however the core structure of the plan was inately flawed. They seemed set on certain factors and unconcerned with outlying solutions. More and more, Hana hadn't a stomach for Kenshin's leadership, though Eri, for all her flaws, was a woman after her own heart.
Beneath her, Raiku shook with his rage. It tore her from her observations and aggravated her to no end. She hissed shortly and rapped the brass tip of her cane into his chest. He was being really irritable and she wished he would stop before he lost control. Having become fed up by it, she hopped off his shoulder, landing upon a platform of air to keep from being lost among the forest of adult bodies. She strode away from him and his officers to stand beside her Lieutenant. No one from her squad was there; she'd given them succinct orders. The officers doubled as researchers and heads of various areas of focus in the Institute, and right now they were occupied with a laundry list of lesser jobs and phenomena to pursue. Pandering to one man's desires played second fiddle to their actual jobs.
It seemed too difficult to keep her own reactions under control as she bent over, both hands folded on the horn of her cane, and began to laugh. At first it was soft but eventually it grew into a full-throated cackle. Abruptly, she fell off into a chuckle and sighed to calm herself.
"Forgive me, I just find the irony of the situation to be delightful," she said aloud, looking between both Commanders. "You call my Squad's practices horrendous, yet you still insist on endangering officers. And at the same time no one has paused to consider the safety of the millions of pluses living in the Rukon. What happens if the enemy appears in random locations, far removed from our forces? Or if they break through our defenses?" She shook her head. "You will argue and nitpick over trivialities such as whom will take responsibility for the impending casualties, and you will choose to ignore the core of your duties. This army was assembled to protect the public and yet your concerns are solely for soldiers."
Hana kneaded the bridge of her nose, then trained her gaze upon them, her face twisted into an expression of bemusement. "Oh well, who am I to question you?"«[Exits to]

Shadow looked around the room then spoke in a calm tone "i am in agreement with my captain. She is rude and strict..." He gave a heavy sigh "... But has been absolutely right since she took office. If we have time to point fingers and make accusations, then we have time to take action. The lost of head captain Animus lays heavy on us all, some more then others. But standing around asking who is to blame will get us nowhere at this moment. Right now we need to take care of the taizai and assure this dose not happen again. I say this in all due respect, we need to stand together united. We can always argue the details afterward." he then turned to Hana and bowed " and i owe my appolgies to you, captain. I let pride cloud my judgement and made some errors that could have been avoided or handled better. I lost one family to poor choices, I will not lose another." shadow then stood up and resumed standing at attention "The plan ,if we can cover the flaws captain Hana pointed out, that head captain Kenshin made is the best course and will keep more people alive. if we all fight as a group, we can watch each other's backs. I would suggest we come up with a fail safe or plan b in the event things dont pan out." He gave a pause then continued "At least, that is my thoughts on the matter"

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.кєηѕнιη нιяσѕнι ⇨ ~ Leadership isn't about speeches or being liked... Looking at Eri, he told her, I did that slight change of plans because it seems that some of the officers that were assigned to this task seemed uncomfortable and I can't afford low morale on this mission. Also, I would actually prefer you being in charge of the pincer group." Yawning, Kenshin then closed his eyes for a second, as he was growing tired, looked at the third seat of the tenth division and responded to her question. "No need to worry, I'll have the vice captain of the Kido Corps in charge of setting the barrier due to out lack of members in the Kido Corps present in the soul society at this present moment." Sighing, he then faced Grimm, as he continued to hear everyone's questions in regards to his plan. "No need to worry about that. Virtues are based off one's personal traits and I've read each and every single one of your records, so I have a general idea of possible Virtues. You and Axzaki stand right now as high canditates for being the virtue of patience considering on your track records. I've also done the same for the other possible virtues so please, don't worry about you all fighting the wrong virtue."
Then looking at Hana, he was surprised hearing her response, though it surely wasn't the first time hearing words similar to her's. "Captain Shizūmi. I'm well aware of the possible risk for the millions of lives living in the Rukongai district and I've already asked assistance from the Royal Guard with the evacuation of that area considering that all other shinigami are busy with the news of Animus' death. Also, I'm taking the necessary precautions to make sure that the Taizai will appear in Sokyoku Hill. I've borrowed the intel that your squad has gathered in the Taizai and along with my personal knowledge on them to ensure that they will appear where I want them to. This may seem a bit of a far fetched plan and a very skeptical one, but please, have some faith with me on this plan. I give you my word that I'll make sure that this plan becomes a success." Sighing, he yawned again once more, as he was continually growing more and more exhausted considering a lack of sleep that he was facing due to his recent appointment of being the commanding captain of the Gotei 13. "Now if any of you have any suggestions for this plan, now would be the time to speak before we get started on the preparations for this operation?" ...it's the end result that counts ~ ⇦ ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓ Mood: Nervious Location: Captains Assembly Hall Thoughts: Time to break the ice Zanpakutō State: Sealed ┗..xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┛

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxєяι кιмυяα ✩ ~ I am the ice that shatters all illusions...Eri nodded as her request was granted. At least, now there a higher chance of this actually working. She blinked at him twice as he yawned, as if bored with this whole entire meeting and the fate of the Seireitei as a whole. She almost shook her head in disbelief, but Hana smoothly cut into the conversation with a few comments of her own. This time, Eri used no effort in holding back a sigh. Because, quite frankly, she was getting quite exasperated at the turn of events. "Might everyone please stop twisting my words?" she said casually, as if throwing out a suggestion for the crowd. "Once again, I was not accusing you of doing horrendous experiments in your squad. Merely pointing out the fact that the Twelfth Division has a history of...shall we say, radical experimentation. It may not concern you, personally, but previous Twelfth Division Captains have had a reputation of doing such things. It was a reference to the current situation, nothing more." she murmured. "Secondly..." she continued. "I do not insist on endangering my officers. I insist on them helping the pincer squad to minimize casualties, not increase the number of people that can be slaughtered. And thirdly, we have squad duties for a reason. The Thirteenth Division of Seireitei Defense is supposed to be guarding the Seireitei and Rukon Districts, along with the Seventh Division. My core duties, Shizūmi-taichou, is not under your discretion. Special operations, such as this pincer force, is the Onmitsukido specialty. Not the defense of the Rukon District. I think we can leave that up to the squads that professionally specialize in those duties?" she said calmly. "I would expect no less of a response from you, if I had asked the Research and Development Squad to stop their Taizai research and, instead, head towards the front lines to directly attack the enemy." she said, setting her mouth into a hard, straight line. At her sarcastically last remark, Eri would have loved to roll her eyes. She was speaking as if she knew the right answer to everything like some omnipotent goddess. Of course, Eri did none of this, nor did she give any sign that she had heard Hana's last comment. At times like these, it was better to bite back your tongue.
As Kenshin also replied to Hana's response, Eri notably stiffened a bit as he yawned yet again. She was getting the feeling that he was creating some sort of coy play for the Shinigami. To yawn after you say your plan will assuredly be a success? That's like saying you're going to drive straight when you're full blown drunk. Honestly, what was wrong with him? He was building no trust, no security, no guarantees, and a halfhearted plan that he said was going to be foolproof. It was quite a laughable joke. If she didn't know any better, she would have pictured him stumbling around the battlefield like a lost soul...and then he would walk straight into a Taizai's blade, killing himself and saving the Taizai the grueling effort. How the hell do you walk into a knife? Eri had no idea, but she had a feeling that she was going to find out today. Clearing her throat, Eri gave a slight nod. Usually, in formal times like these, she'd give a bow. But the new Head Captain had fallen well past her borderline standards, with his shitty leadership and whatnot. She humbly stepped back, clearing the space in front of the Head Captain and stepping around people in the overcrowded room and heading towards the mostly secluded wall. She was giving other people the opportunity to step forward and speak, since she had nothing more to say. Even if she did, she wasn't going to waste her breath on a half awake fool that looked like he had just woken up from a hangover. Crossing her arms and leaning on the wall, she kept a sharp eye and ear out, not wanting to miss any details when the time arose. She meticulously drummed her fingers on her arm, waiting for the meeting to be done and over with so she could assemble the pincer force. Judging by her instincts, they were probably well into the afternoon, if not the evening already....and melts the frost of the weak ~ ✩ xxxxxx....Speedxxxxxxxxxx..Reiatsuxxxxxxxx......MusicxxxxxMin●---------MaxxxxxxMin●---------MaxxxxxxMin----●-----Max

------X----X-Axzaki Heroki-X----X------ Captain of Squad3 "Do we really Need to fight...." Axzaki aka Gin Axzaki slightly smiled after hearing that he was believed to be a candidate of a virtue, but he wasn't to happy knowing things could change on the field as if he might not be the virtue. Still listening to everyones opinions and ideas along with the bickering Axzaki looked to Kenshin and then to the others"Obviously...you all should at least see what this man could do."he said calmly. Not actually taking sides, but just trying to bring some peace into the mist of the meeting. Of course, Kenshin obviously is older then anyone in the entire room meaning he also happens to have a force behind his knowledge. Axzaki gaze to Eri with a straight look then to the rest of the captains"Just as we was accepted by the Gotei to be the captain of our present squads, we must also take a chance in letting him lead us. Plus...there is obviously nothing any of us can do to de-rank him right"he asked. Though it may seem as if Axzaki was liking Kenshin, he was just being a captain or a man of understanding. He folded his arms and released a sigh as he closed his eyes.
Then a smile came on his face"Plus...Animus wouldn't want us treating no one different as he wouldn't right? Then two we have a large day ahead of us meaning, if the taizai come here once more, we have the advantage because this our home world and we know restriction and such as they don't."he continued."I also want to finish this so I can give Animus a proper burial."afterwards he stop talking and became silent. Yes he was still hurt by the death of his adoptive dad, but there was nothing he could do undo it. All he could do was carry out Animus will and legacy...Hahahaha Hero's Legacy lol. I know this has to be the most random post right but it is funny..to me at least. "....because i would rather have tea"

After hearing the Head Captain's response, Aya nodded and took her place beside her own captain now, kneeling back down again. She was a relieved that Eri and her subordinates would be there to help as well now, but the thought of possibly being once these Virtues still scared her. Yes, the Head Captain did say they would be the only ones able to beat the Taizai, but what if this turned out to be a lie? The third seat just wasn't sure.

Jutaku Kira Kori Squad 10 Seat 4 OCC: Jutaku stood there, listening to the conversation between Captians. Thinking about if there was a chance he could be a Virtue. Thinking about all his traits, thinking, staring into an invisible abyss as he searched his soul. Half of him wanted to be, half of him didn't, though Kira didn't care, Jutaku just wanted to be useful. Slowly sitting down, Jutaku began to think about everything that has ever happened to him. "Maybe," he said, out loud to himself, "Just maybe."

Raiku Sato Squad 10 Captain Raiku listened to everything that was being spoken. He then felt Miyuki's put her hand on his shoulder and looked at her as she spoke to him. He smiled kindly and as softly as she had said, "Yeah, no prob." Immediately afterward Raiku began rubbing his head nervously. He had an idea, but he didn't think that the others were going to like it. As he was doing that Raiju came up out of his sheath. "Tell them Raiku. They need to know." This time Raiju spoke vocally so that the entire room could hear. "Um........................I might know where we can get about a hundred expendable soldiers." Raiku then chuckled nervously. He knew that they weren't going to like the next part. "You see........I um.......kinda um........enslaved about a hundred hollows and have forced them to kinda um....make me a lot of free sake." Raiku then laughed nervously. This wasn't going to end well. (don't worry guys, the hollow thing did get approved by Ax and Optimist)
