Lana jumped a little when the other woman spoke. She hadn't heard her come up. She must have been too preoccupied with her own thought.
When she did look at Jessie her jaw dropped. She quickly closed it so she didn't look like an idiot. Jessie was even larger than Mary, but it was the arms that surprised her. She had four of them. Two were on her belly and the others were crossed.
Lana tried her best not to stare as she followed Jessie.

Lana nodded and looked around the place. It was nice. For a moment she stood not sure what to do. Finally she sat down in the nearest chair. She stood up again nervously, feeling uncomfortable intruding in this woman's home. She didn't want to ask for anything while the woman cooked.
She sat down again.
Lana, finally tired of the silence, was finding it hard to resist saying what was on her mind. "You look like those goddesses from a book I read. They all had for arms too."

In the quiet park a long haired blue eyed man sits. Strumming gently on a guitar he lazily relaxes under a large tree. Wearing a grey T-shirt, and dark blue jeans, along with white sports shoes, he has his guitar's case open.

Matthew sang hoping that someone would give him a little money. He would be seen around town doing this, and no one seemed to stop him because Matt sang really well.

He had heard about the rumors of asteroids but didn't really care much. If they fell..they fell. It wasn't his problem.

"What? What's so funny?" Jessie asked, looking at Lana as she blinked a few times in confusion. By now her hair was stark white and her skin a deep bluish gray color. Her ears had also grown a bit to elfin point and her eyes taken on a piercing yellow color.

Mary entered Jessie's house and her black eyes widened as she watched Jessie go through another transformation. The darkened skin tone, elvish ears, and pale hair color made Mary say, "Jessie you have such lovely beauty right now, but I think you ought to get a mirror and double check if this is what you were like this morning."

(I feel like making a second character so here I go.)

Outside, where Matthew was trying to avoid his dire fate, a young man named Jason was hidden among the houses that Matthew was headed towards, "Whoa! Since when do we have harpies, minotaurs, and spiders running around town."

His green eyes were staring down the road at Matthew hoping he'd make it to the houses. He clearly needed help though, especially since the long haired boy carried a rather large guitar with him. Jason pulled out a hunting bow and an arrow he had at his side and notched the arrow. He took a few minutes to aim and fired it a few feet behind Matthew in hopes of scaring or slowing down the minotaur who was closest to him.

Lana watch this all in shock silence. Finally she got up and poured her a tall glass of water, splashing her face as well.
"I'm not really sure how much more of this I can take," she told Mary. "I think I'm about to hit my max."
Lana raised the 8oz. glass and chugged the whole this down in a matter of moments before filling it again.

(Yeah sorry about that. lol I'm kind of floundering here. ^^; I hope it was alright to join. )

Matthew watched as random arrows whizzed by him and strike into the minotaur causing it to stumble a little, knocking into the spider boy. The Harpy dodged yet let out a loud screech before flying off. Whatever the reason, perhaps the protection of her young, the harpy didn't want to die.

Randomly checking the front doors of the houses, Matthew finally found one that seemed to be open rushng inside and slamming the door behind him! Panting heavily the Bard slowly slid down onto the floor. Bards were not meant for running extreme distances! he thought not paying any attention who's house he just burst into.

He would explain the situation later, for now he needed to catch his breath. Meanwhile the minotaur and the spider boy were fighting each other.

Matthew looked up at Jason with a shocked look. "Monsters...? People are turning into monsters!?" he gasped slowly standing. "Thanks..so do you know when all of this happened?" he asked slowly gaining his composure. "I'm Matthew by the way, I'm a Bard, though you probably could tell that." he chuckled some.

The thought of some rocks turning people into monsters caused his tender heart to break some. People were cursed, perhaps this whole village was cursed. "We should look for some survivors and leave this place. It's not safe here.." he said a bit annoyed that he left his guitar case back in the park.
