Once again they were caught offguard by Shinzu's bold assault, and the tight quarters only stood to complicate matters. Shinzu coming to them did have a advantage however, one was able to move his spear around his friend's side, and stab at Shinzu, though it proved even more difficult for both involved.

Masa ran towards Shinzu and Batsu at a full sprint, from what he had said things didn't sound to good over there. She could see the village coming up ahead. Hopefully she wasn't to late. Meanwhile, her bloated sword sat on her back, scales flattened as it attempted to digest a little bit of its heavy meal.

Batsu knew that he had to keep Shinzu up and running as much as he could for the time being. He was the stronger of the two and had to stay alive. Batsu by himself against for foot shoulders weren't exactly a favorable fight, so he did what he had to do... heal. The boy shot an arrow at the foe from before then Stealth [immediately ran over to Shinzu's side and commenced to healing. "Stay as close to me as you can so I can keep healing, got it?"
Arrow: 1d20 [17] + MAB [21] + Weapon Bonus [2] + Sneak Attack [4] = 44

Punching, and kicking, eventually knocking the one directly in front of him clean over the side of the stairs. "Bring it on!" Shiinzu yelled as he continued his assault, watching as the remaining men slowly fell back, thier terror growing.

Masa rushed in just in time to meet Shinzu at the bottom of the stairs. "Tag me in!" She ran up the railing, attacking the foot soldiers before backing in towards Batsu saying, "I'll cover the rear."

Of a group that started with two cells of six, it had been whittled down to two.They had no idea one companion was still alive out in the bush, nor did they know that Shinzu had only knocked one out. So they fought ferociously, refusing to give anymore ground to Shinzu.

2.) The correct KFS Damage pool is as follows.

The one Batsu is attacking has 85 hp remaining
The one Shinzu is attacking has 37 hp remaining
