Rin grabbed out for the hand and tugged on it with her full heavy-person weight. Unbearably heavy. Poor Sasha must be strong.

Sasha's eyes widened as she nearly toppled forward on top of Rin, ceasing forward movement by sheer strength alone. Locking her knees, Sasha pulled back.
Rin was kind of heavy.
"Whoo, okay. You um. You okay?"
Sasha let go of Rin's hands, cheeks pink. From exertion or from contact? Hard to say, hard to say.

"Yeup! thank you~" Rin dusted herself off, "Those things should come with warning labels about not only never wanting to get up again - but being flat out UNABLE to!"
She chuckled before turning in search of the source of music, "Don't be too long now dear~"

Sasha grinned before darting out of the room.
A quick skipping-run took her to where she'd hidden her flute. Honestly, she wasn't too worried that someone would steal it. It wasn't like they could leave to sell it somewhere.
Soon enough she was on her way back to Killzone's dolphin-zone.

By the time she returned the music was off and Rin had re-arranged things a bit so one could sprawl out across various beanbags and plush dolphins to relax.

Shuffling back into the room, Sasha beamed at Rin.
"I'm back!"
She seated herself on the floor so that she could assemble the instrument, glancing at the rearranging that Rin had done.

"Welcome back." Rin was beaming too, with all kinds of pride. She felt she improved on the room substantially while Sasha was gone.

Sasha assembled the flute like the pro that she was, rising to her feet. "Let me show you," Sasha breathed with a little laugh, moving to stand next to Rin. She held out the flute, tapping the engraving that had been laser-cut into the golden surface of the instrument. "Sasha Antoinette Belrose - Keep the song alive - 2000." The dark-haired trainee beamed at her new friend. "Isn't it beautiful?"

Rin's eyes lit up at the flute, "Oh wow."
She grinned dopily, "So beautiful. You must be really really good for a flautist to warrant such an impressive instrument."
She tucked her hands behind her head, "Don't keep me waiting~ I'm eager to hear you!"

"I guess... I guess you could say I have a natural talent?" Sasha laughed sheepishly. "I don't ah. You know. I'm.. I don't mean to brag, but. I've been playing for a long time, but like." She shook her head. "From the moment I first played? I just felt like. I don't know. Music is just special to me, in a way a lot of people ah. They don't understand." Sasha laughed again before she lifted the flute to her lips and started to play.

"Music is special though." Rin agreed before Sasha started playing and she had fallen completely silent. Sinking into her spot, eyes closed, just soaking up the music forever and glad for the opportunity damn it.

When Sasha stopped playing, she stood in silence for a long, possibly awkward moment; eyes closed, head tilted curiously to one side - and the ghostly flicker of a smile on her lips.

Rin didn't dare interrupt the silence even as her own eyes slid open she merely watched Sasha quietly. Curious what the woman was thinking or feeling.

The silence yawned on, Sasha quite obviously lost in her own thoughts. The quiet moments stretched into minute after minute until the dark-haired trainee finally opened her eyes with a few rapid blinks, alighting on Rin with something akin to surprise.
She gave a sheepish, breathless laugh.
"I'm.. I'm sorry."

"Don't be." Rin smiled warmly, "You looked like you were at peace."
She was curious though, "What were you thinking about?"
