The door of Stein's office would creek while it motioned to reveal it's entrance. Showing the silhouette of a young man, tall, dark hair and skin as he retained his eyes closed and the faint sound of a song escaped the earphones he wore at the moment. The towel over his shoulders would reveal he had hit the showers recently as he even added some cologne which's sent was still strong since it was recently applied.
Closing de door as if he was in his own office, Adam paused while placing his backpack on a chair. Once he opened his eyes, he was stunned to see Janice, as if he didn't expected anyone but Stein in the office.
"... am I intruding?"
The young man asked, having caught a particular interest in the unfamiliar face. It appeared to be a beautiful woman of red hair and emerald eyes. her skin, perhaps a light peach color. But a name didn't appear on his memory.
Turning his eyes back on Stein, he observed the professor directly into his eyes.
But since none of their lips motioned at the moment. And neither was he an expert at reading them. It was just right that he took his earphones away and turned the music off.
"Should I come back later? I wouldn't mind skipping today's examination."
But just as soon as the music was off and his mind wasn't distracted, the could both feel an amateurish wavelength reaching up to them as if attempting to read them.
And just as the amateurish wavelength showed. It was clear he was a meister with Soul perception.

''I feel the same way when I have to deal with some of my students.But even if some of them annoy me,at the end of the day,I feel teaching and being a doctor are my callings in life.There isn't anything else that I'd rather do.'' he said.St her question,he shook his head in a 'no' fashion. ''Technically,it's a bolt because the bottom is flat.A screw has a pointed bottom.But technicalities aside,it helps me focus my thoughts abit more.And it doesn't hurt at all.I was careful with how I placed it.Before I even operated on myself,I spent many months drawing out plans and my own instructions for how I was going to fit it in my head.In the end,I did it without it impeding anything or hurting myself.'' he said.When he heard someone come in,he looked up to see Adam.He then looked at Janice and pointed to Adam. ''That one is Adam Yandelle.He doesn't make me question why I chose to teach.He makes me question why I haven't dissected him yet.I'll be back with you Janice-san.Please excuse me,milady.'' he said then stood up.He walked over to the male. ''Hey Yandull.Its fine.I was helping Janice-san grade tests but we've finished them for the most part.You know if you skip our examination,you'll be running twenty laps around the school instead.Or you can skip now and be my test subject later.I'm testing to find cures for brain cancers and I know exactly how to replicate the the cancers but actual test subjects aren't exactly easy to come by.Now,lets check your weight on the scale.'' he said.As always,he purposely called Adam out of his name,replacing 'delle' with 'dull',as in stupid.He finished off one half of the apple then ate the other half more quickly.He then walked to the garbage can and threw the stem away before returning to the male. "Well it's not like I don't miss our conversations Doctor, I just thought you had your hands full at the moment. I was trying to be polite."
Adam frowned lightly after being called "Yandull" he didn't liked it to the slightest yet there wasn't much he could do about it.
Things, however became touchy when Stein offered the chance to become a test subject.
"I believe I would have preferred that option last year. But right now I believe I would have to decline your offer."
Placing the towel over his back pack, along with any personal belongings other than the clothes he was wearing he turned back at the doctor.
"Should I go to the scale first or sit on the bed?"
With stein's unpredictable moves. Adam thought it was easier to ask.

''We have to check your weight to make sure your keeping up with your diet.I'll check your blood pressure next.'' he said.

"Right."
Yandelle would give another quick glance at "Janice-san" before being on his way to the scale.
The cold feeling of the scale bellow his feet was something he was already familiar with, yet the sting you get from it was something that he could never truly avoid.
Adam would turn to meet up with the doctor.
"Well I did had some pizza during the week. I thought I could afford it at least once in a month. Would that be too much of a problem Doctor?"
The tall meister had indeed his fair share of stretch ups during this last year. While also gaining a ripped body. Which would be cool to brag about. If it weren't only for the fact that Adam knew the hellish routines he had to undergo to achieve it. The last thing he would want would be to talk about it.
"Have you ever considered having sharing workspace with the nurses on the top floor?"
He asked out of curiosity, given the fact that they had separate offices but fulfill pretty much the same purpose in Adam's perspective. Unaware of how much work Stein had as part of DMWA intelligence and tactics program. That and lately Adam had shown interest in a nurse in particular.

''You mean the nurse's office? I already fill in for the nurse and help out there when it gets really busy.And I know my office is just another nurse's office but with a doctor,an office,and more supplies.But its also where I get alot of research done.If I worked in the nurse's office,I couldn't focus as well on my work with all the traffic and people that come through there.I like my office.Lord Death allowed me to have this room to work in and I wouldn't ditch it for the nurse's office or anywhere else.And then I've been working in this office for forty years.I wouldn't feel right working somewhere else now....Alice-chan would play in the office area and play with my lab coat.She was so adorable when she was little.Sometimes Aislin-chan would come play with Alice-chan.They were so cute.'' he said,checking the male's weight.He then looked at Janice. ''Janice-san,remind me to show you Alice-chan's pictures sometime.She had the cutest little clothes when she was little.When I have a son,I'm going to buy him a bunch of handsome little clothes.'' he cooed then went to go check the male's blood pressure. ''Adam,quit distracting me....Aren't you going to say some sort of nonsense about how your chasing down some girl and are trying to get a date again?'' he said.

" Well I suppose it's a fair explanation. Still it would be more lively if we were in the nurse's office. "
Looking aside, he spotted Janice once more. Then back to mr. Stein.
"Doctor. You never told me you got an assistant."
Commented the young man, wondering why would an attractive woman like her would be interested in someone as crazy as Stein.
The dark skinned meister would continuously try to read stein's wavelength, but as a master of wavelengths Stein could unintentionally block him every time he tried to.
Once he was told not to distract the doctor, they proceeded with the blood pressure check.
" I can't help it when I'm bored Doctor. You got me used to be in constant motion and being stationary in a room is not exactly my definition of motion. "
While the doctor spoke with Janice for a moment. Then frozen as he would soon speak about dates again.
" Well now that you are speaking about it, there's this nurse in particular that I- "
He suddenly paused when Janice broke her silence. It appears the redhead was actually enjoying the show so far. Yet she was able to steal a trace of fluster from Adam because of her beauty.
As Janice addressed Yandelle, the young man would have to look away to keep himself from being bewitched.
"I'm on my third year. Honestly, I don't think I'll go far from there considering I have the Doctor as my Teacher."
Curiosity striked Adam as he couldn't resist but asking.
" Are you two dating? "

''What's that supposed to mean? Don't blame me because you can't handle the work that almost everybody else is flat out acing or understanding after extra practice.If it wasn't for me,we wouldn't even be talking about how hard or easy my classes are.We would be having a whole different talk about what sort of life your going to make for yourself since you got kicked out of this school.If you put the work and focus in,you can pass with an 'A' like other students do.Make no mistake,I'm not giving you those 'B-'s because I feel like it.Its because you earn them.'' he said in a calm tone then huffed,jokingly. ''You mean Janice-san and I?'' he said then chuckled. ''Have you seen how beautiful she is? She is so very out of my league that we're two completely different sports.I'm baseball and she's swimming or something.I don't even know if I could feel that type of love for someone like a girlfriend or a wife.But I do care about her.I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to her and I want to help her get the rest of the souls she needs as long as she'll allow me the honor to...I doubt she would ever like me in that way.The only reason she's stuck having to hang around me to any extent is because Lord Death said we have compatible wavelengths and we became partners.And don't be fooled.She looks like a goddess and she hasn't been working at this school that long but she handled herself very well during our first mission together and was quite skilled.She didn't even leave my side when I lost myself to my madness.She showed no hesitation in being my partner the entire time and I think we work together well as a team.I think she's very beautiful but I doubt she would ever have any romantic interest in a Frankenstein like me.Not when she could easily get any other teacher or guy she wanted.All she would have to do is walk into a room and the whole room would get brighter.I enjoy her company though.She's smart,pretty,elegant,nice,kind-I could go on and on about how interesting and lovely she clearly is.But I hope to be of help in getting her the souls she needs to become a death scythe and not be too much of a burden to her.Few people see me lose myself to my madness and actually stay by my side in general.Most run the opposite way.'' he said then chuckled.

While what he said it was truth about Stein saving his butt from being expelled. He couldn't help but think his test only gotten harder the more he studied.
" Well I don't mean to slack off. But the subjects becomes more complex the more I study it. "
As Stein may have figured during Adam's diagnosis, Yandelle was more of a person that learned with practice rather than studying by the book.
Sadly it was also truth that he was all practice and no theory at all. Which needed to be corrected if he ever wanted to improve his grades.
" But how would I know if she's the right one if I don't even try it first? What else there is to it to see if she's the right one? "
Speaking of matters of the heart with Stein didn't seem like someone in his five senses would do. Since he had the profile of a scientist. But those who knew them well enough could trust that his words would be carrying a deep meaning and wisdom.
And then there was Adam who wasn't neither in his five Senses or within Steins close circle of maturity.
" Isn't that a bit complicated? "
However, the topic took an unexpected turn and soon "Yandull" was puzzled about Stein's reaction towards his question about Janice. Yet, that was something that shouldn't surprise him at this point.
" Yeah, she's really beautiful. That's why I was asking you if you were both dating. "
Then, Janice would kindly offer her help, as well as showing or speaking of Stein's strong points.
" I know, I know. I'm really lucky. I'm just saying that it would be nice to have a simple subject every now and then. "
Then, the war of compliments and kind words between Stein and Janice started again, which seriously made Adam ponder if those two were indeed not dating.

''Well,you ether get over it and deal with this year or have to repeat it.Or we could drop you back to year two and you can pick up what you left there.I'm pretty sure you left afew things back there.'' he said.At his next statement,he rolled his eyes. ''I frankly think you should keep from doing what you did before so you don't end up with child that you are mentally incapable of parenting.''he said. ''The work isn't that terribly difficult to understand.I've seen dozens of students study and practice after school with me or other students then pass or exceeded an 'A' in their work.Afew even had to skip up a year.Its difficult but if you put the work and time in then you will pass.You got the people who understand what their reading but can't do it on the field.Then there's the people that can do the move on field til the cows come home but don't understand the way the book teaches it.Then you have Yandull,who is in a whole special category of his own and you have be careful with him cause he lost alot of things as he graduated through the years.I didn't even get a chance to experiment on him so a brain should still be in his head.'' he said.
