He was in a better mood than he had been so the initial defensive instinct was returning a little. Enough to at least act grudgingly irritable.
"Yeah, sure. Women are good at that touchy feely stuff right?" a glimpse of a teasing playful smirk, he'd keep trying to get a reaction out of her it seemed, but at least it was a sign he was more all right than he looked.

Cass laughed. "I could stand to be a bit better at it, so I'll consider you practice." she shrugged off the comment as easily as she had his other ones as she took over the job of tending to him with the bandages. If nothing else, she was a light touched individual with her application, though.
Not too tight, not too loose. She had some experience and she wasn't looking to cut his circulation off with the bandages.

He gave her a grateful grin as he flexed his arms, pain still very much present from the abuse he'd put his body through that day, but still a great deal better, and the bandages were impeccably applied.
"Thanks. Not half bad." It really helped to just soldier on and try to ignore the hurt, made it easier to deal.

"Well, I did get some good practice in on myself. Did you know it is as hard as it sounds to try and change bandages with broken fingers?" she asked, mostly laughing before the reality of that seemed to settle on her and she frowned, actually seeming...concerned.
"But hey, if it'll keep you from falling apart I'll take it."

Ryan turned when a familiar voice, only to find an injured Wilson.
"Ah, hey. I think that's my line... What happened? Did you get injured from fighting those creatures from before? Or is this from something else?" He asked, grabbing the first gauze roll that came within reach.
"As for myself. No, I'm not hurt. I actually just got in." He admitted before holding out his hand and saying. "Leg." Like an owner asking for his dog's paw.

Harrison was still angry. But he wasn't as angry, and more importantly, was feeling a whole lot less murderous. But Julie said they were going to be stuck here a while.
He opened the tent flap. People were still getting tended to...and yep, there he was. It was better to just deal with it now, he figured, set things straight and then just steer clear of each other the rest of the time. He walked over to Rep, and looking nervously around for Julie, kept his voice low.
"Hey. We gotta talk. Outside."

Rep cringed and gave Cass a sympathetic look, really not keen on ever having to find out how difficult it could be to change bandages in that state. "Thanks regardless he stated."
He froze as Harrison entered the tent though, watching the other man spot him and then beeline towards him. Well he supposed, there wasn't any way he could wheedle out of this. He nodded with a slightly anxious frown, getting up.
"Okay. Later Cass."
And followed him out.

Sasha swept into the tent, peering around for any recognizable faces before she beelined for an empty cot - grabbing a small wad of gauzy stuff on the way. Her knee was starting to sting - nothing serious, really, but Sasha preferred to err on the side of caution.
Seating herself on the cot, Sasha quietly started to wipe away the blood and gritty sand that had coagulated on her shin.

Sydney was limping slightly and looking rather worse for the wear as she came back in, but there was still a proud little smile on her face as she grabbed some things to clean her wounds with and headed to a cot next to Sasha's.
She started cleaning up her various wounds, only to stop and touch her very messy hair. She seemed a bit distracted with finger brushing it, even though her other problems seemed a bit more pressing.
Izy told her.
"Yes, Izy," Syd said with a sigh, going back to tending her wounds.

Sasha glanced up as Syd came into the infirmary, quickly finishing with her own cleanup before giving the other trainee a thorough once-over.
"Syd! Are you.. are you okay?" Sasha slid closer to the mistie, a concerned look on her face.
"Let me help." Sasha rose to her feet and picked up a bit of gauze, some antiseptic and a few bandages before returning to Syd's side.
"What happened? -- and take off your jacket, that's.. ouch. That's a nasty-looking scrape."

"Scorpions," Syd said. "Huuuuuge scorpions. Big enough to eat a horse," she told the other girl, looking a bit flushed. "I took one down all on my own," she informed Sasha. "I... pawned it? Powned it? How do you say that, anyway?" she asked, frowning for a moment.
"Did you get a cookie?" she asked eagerly. "The cookies are delicious--and I got a hug, too! Did you know that we can ASK for hugs? Sasha, can I have a hug? See? All you have to do is ask! It's so easy! Izy!" she said, laughing. "Izy won't give me a hug, but that's okay, because I killed a massive scorpion! I love this trip--so, so, soooo much."

Sasha grinned at Syd, shaking her head.
"I haven't any idea how you say it," Sasha chirped, not entirely sure what the other woman was trying to say. "I helped someone fight a giant bug myself, and then I got attacked by another one. I wonder why these bugs are so huge out here!"
Sasha directed a very stern look at Sydney.
"Now, lets.. lets take this jacket off so that we can get you cleaned up, Syd!"

Syd willingly started to take off her jacket. "The bugs are big too?" she asked, suddenly looking worried. "Do you mean all the bugs? Are there mosquitoes in the Sahara?" she asked. Her mind was full of mosquitoes bigger than her that sucked people dry, literally--
"I want to see that," she said, her eyes huge.
Izy said patiently.
"Izy said I should show you this," Syd said abruptly, bringing up her left leg and revealing a tear in her pants and a welling of blood coming from her leg. "Huh... wonder when that happened."

Sasha inhaled sharply at the sight of blood - the gash was bad, but it wasn't anything worth being gravely worried over.
"I have a cut like that on my knee," the trainee chortled, shifting so that she could show Syd her own battle wound. "Don't worry, we'll get you cleaned up, Syd." Sasha lifted up some gauze and dampened it with some sort of solution before dabbing it carefully along the wound.
"Well.. like the centipede things. There was a giant scorpion, and a giant.. flying thing? I have no idea."
