Gray patted Rose awkwardly. Well he seemed very happy with that answer. Which was good...probably. Then again, it could be very bad. It was difficult to tell with Rose.
"You know with most people that might be easily considered an idle threat. But I have the distinct feeling that you would definitely follow through on that. But there's not really anyone else that catches my eye. So I reckon I'll still be here trying to pretend there aren't people out there that want me dead."
"But yeah, for the record, going to class would be a wise decision."

"I should probably go. I keep trashing your wagon and I should try... studying," The word sounded foreign to him and made him feel like gagging, but it would be worth it.
He was about to head out, but he stopped when he reached the door. "Um, can I... keep the shirt?"

"Ah...well..." Gray dithered. It was a cheap shirt but he'd still paid for it. With real money even. Giving it away with a sore blow. ugh..gah. "Very well," he finally said. "Don't forget to return for yours. I'll take it to the dorm later and dry it for you, so you can stop by after class."
Bleh. Now he was short one shirt that...he never wore. But it was still annoying. Even if he could easily make himself another one. But he supposed Rose couldn't change into his old one yet and the boy wanted it. So whatever. Gray would just...suffer.

 "Gray! Gray! Look what I found Gray!" Pilot called as she ran to the wagon. The small girl was carrying a small pile of feathers. They were different colors and quite pretty! As she scrambled up the steps to the wagon she slipped and slid from the top step to the ground. She just sat there for a few moments before her lips quivered and her eyes watered with tears. She had scraped her knees! Poor poor child! (lol xD )

"Hey there, Munchin---whoa!" Gray hurried down the steps, scooping up Pilot. "It's okay." He sat with her on the steps for a moment, holding her in his lap. He figured he'd make sure she wasn't going to start wailing, and then take her to the school infirmary for some bandaids.
"Are you okay?"

Pilot sniffles as tears rolled down her face and she whimpered a bit, but she wasn't wailing yet. "It stings~" She sniffed as she nuzzled her face into his chest, still holding the pile of bright and colorful feathers in her hands. She had been planning on decorating him with them!

"Well," Gray said, standing with her. "Let's get you down to the infirmary, Little Miss. I'm sure the doctor can patch you up with some bandaids, and make it stop hurting."
He started toward the building, carrying Pilot in his arms. "And actually, I hear he's part sheep." well, that wasn't true. But he did have the ram horns, so it was close enough. Maybe it would distract her from crying.

He wanted to have fun, so he just got dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt, a nice sweater vest, and some khakis (though he was tempted to wear his pink shorts just to embarrass him). It felt odd to walk up to the wagon door and knock on it, since he had gotten used to breaking in by attempting to twice already. Yet, he knocked and waited outside the door patiently with a smile on his face. He swore to himself that he would be on his best behavior today and not try anything perverted, completely unaware of Mr. Gray's plan to scare him off. ❤═━.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.━═❤

"Rose! Rose, Rose, Rose, Rose, Rose!" Pilot came running around from behind the wagon, holding something in her hand. "I made something for you!" She exclaimed as she went up to him and held the object up to his face for him to see it. Her gift was a snowball, with dirt and twigs in it. "Its a crunchy ball of chocolate!" She stated.

Okay. Gray let out a pent up breath when he heard the knock at the door. He could do this. He'd already set up the sheep stall so they could get out easily, and suspected they would follow Pilot as they often did, and--he smiled. Yep. There was Pilot. She was already ambushing Rose. Yes!
"That's my girl," he whispered with a slight grin. Maybe when Rose realized he came with baggage, the boy would find someone else to obsess over. Maybe that overly serious Physics professor. At any rate, he went and pulled the door open, looking out sheepishly. "Ah...hey there, Rose. I hope you don't mind but I couldn't really find anyone too look after Pilot for me so...she's going to have to come with us."
"There is a deplorable lack of baby sitters here at Rosentale.

"Oh, that's fine. I was hoping to finally meet her anyways," Rose told him with a grin when he complained about the lack of baby sitters.
He knelt down so that he was Pilot's height and took the snowball from her. "I'm guessing you're Pilot? That's really sweet of you, but there's a little tiny problem. It's too pretty to eat, and if I kept it in my pocket, it would melt," He explained to her and set it down near the door of the wagon. "But, here, it won't be alone," He said as he scooped some snow off the ground and packed it into a ball around the same size, "It can have a crunchy ball of vanilla as a best friend!" He set it down next to the ball of snow Pilot made and brushed the snow off of his hands on his pants.
"So, where are we going?" He asked Mr. Gray as he stood back up.

(BAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!! rofl Gray's plan has backfired so far! xD ) Pilot blinked, then smiled. "Okay! It can have vanilla as a friend!" She hugged his legs, "Teehee, I like you Rose!" She exclaimed. She then ran over to Gray and grabbed hold of his hand, "Come on Gray! Lets go! Lets go! I wan't to go out now! I want to get a hot dog!" The small girl was quite full of energy today and it was certainly starting to show.

Wait...what? That...wasn't supposed to happen. But Gray had to admit, as he watched Rose and Pilot, Rose was good. He could respect that, but drat! Okay. Well, that was just their first meeting. He was obviously trying hard. Soon, his determination would be worn away. Definitely. (Though that didn't explain why Gray had a sinking feeling as he started down the steps.) "Of course!" he told Pilot, grabbing her and swinging her into the air.
"So, are you ready to go?" he asked Rose. God....this was suddenly very awkward. "I guess we have to find a place that serves hotdogs? Yum." He paused and looked Rose and down. "You look nice," he said, grinning. Hopefully the compliment would help make up for all the horrible things he intended to do later. Like spill something red and staining on those khakis...
