Lotus Eater

Lotus Eater was adeptly named, as she has traits that mimic the Buddhist symbolism of the lotus and the mythological lotus eaters within Greek mythology. More like her father, Lotus is a relaxed, serene girl. Calm under pressure, she seems to easily shed off any stress in life; or any turmoil is well hidden. Some could call her apathetic, as little seems to shake her. Truly, she is more inclined to think carefully before reacting to a situation, speaking or taking action. As the lotus symbolizes purity of speech, mind and body, Lotus Eater too embodies theses traits. She likes to consider all sides and options; this makes her diplomatic but slow to react which can come off as being cold or distant. Like both her parents, her roots are firmly planted in the ground. Her favorite activities include practicing mediation and yoga outdoors, a good nap under a tree’s canopy, and learning of the medicinal properties of plants and minerals in nature (particularly if edible).

Generosity: Tickets for Two (with Wabi Sabi) - Lotus wins a pair of tickets for what she thinks is a rock concert. She can't decide who to take with her, and while talking with her brother learns it's a different kind of rock show. Gives the tickets to him, knowing that he'd enjoy it much more.
Loyalty: Beauty, Grace, Fall on Your Face! (with Bushido) - The cousins go ice skating and motivate each other to keep at it after falling, ignoring any snickering of onlookers. [F]
Purpose: A Cure For What Ails You - Lotus Eater helps Sprinkles with a stomach ache by giving her a tea with ginger and marshmallow root. This cements her desire to help others with naturopathic medicine.
