Unaware of the drama pact action going on just below, Ayita was oblivious. Not that the lioness minded. There was silence where she laid. Taking precious slow time eating away at the protein packed meat. Mighty proud of herself for such a kill As any Head Huntress would be. But, that pride was more of the pride she took apon seeing the full stomachs of others. Supplying something to consume for a evergrowing pride. Many of these lions would stay and some would even leave. New ones would come in. That's just how things went. Old would pass away and new ones born. It was just how things worked. Nothing wrong with it. Some day Ayita would leave this world in her sleep, hopefully, and join the ones of the past watching above. For now, she was here. Processing every action of the day. Mind wandering on about that male in the boneyard. Thinking about Manaba and how he faired. Than that mind went to little Musa and Abaeze. How was her dear friend. Surely she was doing fine from her unjuries. Quite obviously so otherwise Musa wouldn't have felt comfortable enough to leave her. The cub and Manaba were much alike indeed. As time seemed to pass those green eyes watched the sky. The bright mood starting to disappear and soon let the bright sun grow into the sky. Most of the pride would be going off to sleep now. Ayita herself felt drowsy. She'd stay awake for a little longer.
The mighty white king didn't turn to look back as he continued to head up the rock. Surely though, he would be hearing whispers about the little... scuffle. More than likely gossip would be spread from the rather playful Musa. Abaeze surely would or will scold the cub. Soyali however did not mind. Cubs sha'll be cubs. They sha'll spread mistruth. Spread little stories that are just mere little lies. Not really any of the king's concern. Even if it may deal with him. Finding that favorite spot of his, the iconic and historical place, he rested down. Bunkered in comfort, head apon his paws with grey empty eyes glancing forward. Gazing off into the distant sky. Wondering of the world. A great thinker pondering over the troubles of the world. What he knew. What he wished to know. What could be known. Something caught that gaze however after staring for quite a while. The abnormal shine of something moving. Amongst the grass. Leaving a trail. Well well well. They had a visitor. And a lioness returning as an escort. They were a bit off however.
Manaba had been good at filling his stomach. Ever since he was little. Got called kinda chubby. Growing made him lose it and now the heaviest part about him was the thick black mane he got from his father. Letting out a huff of breath, he relaxed against the stone bared cold because of the night air. Oh it felt good. Especially since the sun would be rising soon. Time flew at night when hunting happened. Feasting went by fast with conversation. Especially with little drama. Which, the young king noticed quickly. Typically he didn't think Abaeze would ever get involved or be part of any little drama. However this was obvious for him to see. The lioness did not seem too happy as Soyali blocked his view from watching. The white giant needed to shrink a little. He was too big. Made him scary though. Oh well~ Laying onto his side he was intrigued. But as soon as it started it ended. The lioness still not looking happy. Even as Musa joined her. Aw. How he wished he knew what was going on. Grinning playfully with a smirk he figured he'd hear about it somehow. Always did.

"So you do like him." "No, Musa, I do not like him. Now shut up." "You really do like him." "What makes you think I like him?" "You deny it so fast, that's why, Abaeze." "Ugh!" The lioness grunted, staring at her little brother from between her claws after they finished their meal. Musa was still going at it about her and Soyali. "I do not like Soyali like that, and he doesn't like me like that either. He just said something embarrassing." How often did she have to say that to get it through his thick little skull? Too many it seemed. "What was it that he said? Something romantic like you're as beautiful as the sun?" "No, not even close, you stupid fur-ball. Now go to sleep. The sun's almost up." The lioness tried to distract that cub by changing topics. The cub came pretty close to what Soyali said, and it only made her pelt prickle with embarrassment. She felt the heat of it under her light fur. Why were toms so stupid? Even the wise weren't as wise as they seemed. "Aw, but I'm not...tired..." The cub yawned as he spoke, causing the lioness to chuckle and stand up. She scooted the mud-colored cub towards their sleeping area. He went without much protest. As she looked back over the savanna, she could see two figures approaching the pride. One male and one female from the looks of it. To the side, on the jutting rock, she saw Soyali. Her pelt tickled with heat as she remembered the king's carelessly spoken words. If she was anyone else, she was sure she'd have fallen for the king, but she wasn't anyone else. She was Abaeze, a lioness of Pride Rock, and she didn't need a mate.
Jawara had heard the siblings' conversation from his perch with the other warriors. So King Soyali liked Abaeze? That was a new and interesting piece of information. Grinning at himself. the warrior got to his paws and walked over to Manaba because surely the king would know if his cousin was fancying the pale-furred lioness. "Hey, Manaba, do you know if Soyali likes Abaeze?" He asked, spotting the distant figures approaching the pride as the sun rose, but he didn't pay them any attention. They didn't seem to mean any harm. "It seems that the king somewhat confessed to her or something. Seems like she's very confused about his feelings for her." That was what the warrior assumed anyways. No lioness would deny someone as kind and wise as Soyali without feeling confused about herself. She was probably wondering why she of all lionesses. It was good to see the king moving passed Donoma after all these seasons.

Still lazying around in the same spot he had been in for past while, stomach full, pulling off the classic lazy pose. Manaba's olive eyes up seeing none other then Jawara. Been quite a while since he had personally spoken to the warrior. Forcing himself into a normal laying position, instead of flat on his side. "Soyali was depressed and all out of it like usual earlier. Knowing him, I don't think so." Turning his head so he could see the white giant at the corner of his eye all the way off in the distance, he just shrugged. Turning his attention to a rather still upset Abaeze. The lioness was currently moving a rather stuffed little cub. Didn't matter. What did matter was when the huntress seemed to look at Soyali. Suspicious indeed. "Oughta talk to Ayita. She knows Abaeze better then anyone else. She'd know how her emotions work." Manaba only knew what he could see. Knew the white giant but didn't really know his sister's closest friend. Turning his head those eyes looked out to the lands. Just like he noticed a few others doing. Two shapes. Obviously one shining like a moving sun. Another dimmer but blending into the light. Could it be? No. They had been gone for too long.
Ayita's wish for rest soon disappeared apon realizing just who the figures were. Having a littel bit of a problem standing, the head huntress managed. Only problem with being so used to moving and never resting. For a few moments that body felt overly heavy. No matter. Quickly getting over it the dark form glided with a slow trot. Heading down the stepping stair like stones. Passing Manaba and Jawara. Ears relaxed however those eyes held a bit of surprised interest. A casual expression. "Misae has returned." That was the light colored lioness whose pelt was inbetween white clouds in the distance and fresh dry desert sand. A very young skillfull huntress. Another beloved friend of her's. However, while Abaeze was more of a sister. This lioness was just a bit of a apprentice so to speak. Used to follow her around as a younger year. Watched Ayita to get pointers. Had been gone quite a while. Then those emerald eyes noticed or rather locked on the larger figure. "And the bright Bodaway." Her voice was somewhat cheerful.
The feel of tall grass brushing against fur was comforting. The feel of worn down dirt between paw pads was as well. Bright gold eyes looked right up at the jutting rock that was home. Long since missed. Long since being touched. Misae missed this place. May not have been her birth home, but this was her home. Seemed to always have been. This was where she belonged. All the more persuasion to make this thin framed lioness hurry her gait. Before long she was awkwardly running. Towards the rock where plenty of lions resided. Family. Jumping to the air and paws meeting stone, she immediately jumped off another, and another. Reaching the top she stopped. Breathless. Welcome faces. There was no need to feel shy. Not with them. "I'm home like I promised~" Her breath had been taken from the rushing beat of her heart. Home. A word having not been said in about a year.

Jawara perked when he finally recognized the two lions approaching them. One was the ex-Outcast Misae, as Ayita had stated, and the other lion was Bodaway. The dark male grinned at Manaba as the two lions came to Pride Rock. "It's been too long since we've seen those two, eh?" The male wasn't especially close to either of the lions, but he had watched Misae grow up after her mother had left her to the pride as a cub. She was a fine hunter. Sometimes he thought she was better than Abaeze and the other lionesses, but not better then their head huntress. "Shouldn't we greet them, Ayita, Manaba?" He asked the siblings as he was already moving towards the average sized lioness.
Abaeze had made sure Musa was asleep before she left their sleeping area and sought out what all the commotion was about outside. Blinking against the rising sun, Abaeze saw a golden lion, he reminded her of the sun, and a smaller lion, a lioness of nearly the same color as Abaeze. "Misae! Welcome home!" The lioness rushed to greet the younger lioness, ignoring the pain from her injuries. She rubbed her cheek against Misae, making a sound akin to purring as she did so. Misae was only half a year younger than her, but that didn't mean she wasn't close or fond of the returning lioness. "You've been away from home much too long, Misae. Who is this?" Abaeze didn't notice Ayita, Jawara, or Manaba as she stared at the golden lion. He was very handsome, and he would make any lioness a happy wife to be sure. If she met him in the past, she didn't remember, though how she couldn't was beyond her. His golden fur was a trait of his that she would always remember. "Yeah, who are you? And who's she?" Musa said from her right flank, surprising the lioness. "Musa!" "What? I'm just asking." They both knew very well that he should be sleeping and not greeting the newcomers. She was tempted to growl at the cub, but she couldn't blame him if he didn't remember Misae. He was too young to remember her when she left home.

Just as Jawara had mentioned to greed Misae and Bodaway, graceful movements propelled the head huntress forward. The thick yet streamline body moving forward. Ayita might be large but the way her muscles moved with each step was charming. Captivating as the lioness had been told. Ayita however wasn't thinking of such things. Never truly did. The pride and their needs were always set up front. Herself the last on the care agenda. Which would probably have to change. At the moment, returning members of their large get together family had returned. Amused at how fast another friend moved, Ayita laughed a little. Pressing her nose to Misae's cheek fluff, turning her head to run against her in greetin. Typical lioness acts. Something the males didn't quite do without getting awkward glances. In other prides. Here, it was normal. A loving phsyical connection between them all. "Agreed. Welcome back safe and sound." This was a good day gone bad, back to great. A new day with a new beginning. The return. "You've returned as well." Bright eyes opposite of her pelt shone at the sight of the shining male who had yet to speak. Simply standing there watching the scene with a handsome squared grin. Another friend.
Following after Jawara, Manaba laughed at the sight infront of them. Already a swarm of the pride surrounding a single mid sized form. Dwarfed by his sister and even more so by the companion standing a bit off. Silently waiting. "We are all stuffed with food. Most were half asleep and dozed off. Now everyone's wired and happy." Always good moments were deserved. It was stuff like this that made the young king laugh more then messing around with his sister. However. A seemingly suspicious glance was given to Bodaway. He had changed. Changed a lot in the past year. Muscle mass. And wow was his mane poofy. Looked like a gold version of Soyali. Just. More square jawed and had a bit of a more rock sculpted face. No matter. Couldn't wait to get back into lazy around jokes with him. His fellow jokster in crime. Hopefully he didn't grow up out of that. "Welcome back!" Rose his voice a bit.
Misae was approached with plenty of greeting. Definitely faster then she had first expected. Quickly she found herself being rubbed against by one of her oldest friends followed by a lioness she looked up to. "I missed you guys!" Pressing back against Abaeze and Ayita she felt like she was gonna burst into tears. Her light voice trying to come out again and speak. It was becoming hard to. It was hard to believe it had been an entire year since the last time she had brushed up against her friends. Typically a good morning greeting for her before they headed out. Something she cherished. It was so nice. "I'm not leaving again I can tell you that much." She choked out. And right now she would answer a question but was trying to collect herself. Giving a small smile towards Jawara and Manaba. But was being bombarded by a few other lioness, cubs staying back. Except one little mud colored one. Putting it aside for a second, thinking the cub and questions could wait. She was able to escape and go greet the two males. Got herself a n** on the shoulder from Manaba. Earned him a whip to the face with her tail. All good. "Mr. Gold and fluffy is Bodaway. How do you not remember him?" A extremely sarcastic voice only used when comfortable. Good thing she knew them all. If not she would be shutting her mouth and not saying a word.
Standing patiently watching the mass of moving bodies, dark red to maroon eyes glanced around at the many familiar and unfamiliar faces. A few looked at the male funny. The sun shining off of the gold pelt made a few cubs look at him with wide eyes. While those who knew who this lion was, just looked thrilled. Bodaway however knew most of them. And besides Ayita, one caught his attention. Abaeze. The first to come greet Misae. When his mood was high, it was dropped like a rock like a bird egg from a nest. The first thing, was when the question as to who he was came about. Next, was the same question from a cub. Obviously a little bit of an older cub. This cub's name was said in a disappointed and scolding tone said by the cream colored lioness. Without knowing, things were connected together. Keeping his face in good humor he smiled, a deep voice with a bit of emphasis to the end of words came out. "Nice to see you again Abaeze. Understand you not remembering me." Dark red orbs glanced down at the curious cub. "I see you've grown up a bit too. Would like to meet your mate and congradulate him for catching you." It seemed he was getting at... Musa was.. Abaeze's son. When this entered other's ears. It was then he took notice of expressions. Ayita herself had a look of surprise as she ducked her head and put a paw over her eyes. Laughing.

...Wha...What?" Abaeze stared at Bodaway, finally remembering him once his name was spoken. He had been much smaller last time she saw him, and she herself was very small when she met him. Around Musa's age. And Musa...What Bodaway just said made her...confused. She could hear Jawara laughing, and to make sure that he was, she glanced at the male. He was on his back, paws over his face, cracking up like a hyena. She growled at him, but then turned to Bodaway once more, and suddenly remember what he had just said. "B-Bodaway...I-Musa's my little brother! I'm taking care of him since our parents passed away a few months ago!" And, with those words, her mortified face became as hot as the sun, or so it seemed. She felt so hot all over, and now she heard Musa's laughter join in on Jawara and the others' voices. How could they all be laughing right now? She remembered Bodaway clearly now. He had been a bit of a joker when he first came, and she was only a cub, but she remembered him well. Did he honestly think she could take on a mate after such a short time? The thought made her growl. "Shut up! All of you!" She roared at all those laughing, sending withering glares at the smallest snicker. "Misae, I'm sure your hungry. Let's get you the remains of tonight's catch and a place to sleep. And Musa, I want you in asleep when I return." She flicked her tail to signal for the younger lioness to follow her to the kill's remains. First Soyali, now Bodaway. Why was she plagued by males with minds such as these?
Musa remained quiet as Abaeze stalked away, watching her lithe form retreat from the gathered group. She was sure to hold both Soyali and Bodaway for this embarrassment for several days. The cub knew his sister well enough to know that. "Smooth move, Bodaway. She's not gonna speak to you for a few days." He informed the golden male, snickering once his sister was out of earshot. He didn't want to lose his head today, and the day had just begun! Squinting his eyes at the new lion as the sun's glare caught his fur, Musa wondered where he was from. The lion was really big, bigger than Manaba, but not be much. He wasn't as big as Soyali either. "Anyways, how do you all know him? Is he here to join the pride?" He glanced at Ayita, Manaba, and Jawara with curious eyes. It seemed like the adults knew things the cubs didn't, and it looked like he would have to investigate this new lion. He also didn't remember the lioness he came with very well, but she was a pride member, from the way Abaeze and Ayita greeted her, so he didn't have anything to discover about her.
Jawara was on his paws as soon as the lioness roared at them. He had not expected that kind of reaction from her. Sure, maybe she'd growl and cuff some of them on the ear, but actually roaring at them. It was frightening to witness an angry Abaeze. He watched her leave for a few moment before turning his attention towards Musa and Bodaway. He chuckled at the cub's words. He sure knew how to make the best of any situation, and he could understand his curiosity about the golden male. It amused him that Musa wasn't enthralled by him like the other cubs. The cub seemed immune to the wonders of the lions around him. It was probably because he spent so much time with the kings that a cockatoo like Bodaway wasn't so amazing. "Bodaway is an old friend of ours, Musa. He had come to join our pride before you were born, but he's had some setbacks that have kept him from returning here. Your sister was around your age when he first came here if I remember correctly, so she didn't recognize him at first. Wow, it's been so long, Bodaway." The warrior explained to the cub. Musa was examining Bodaway like he was a bird without wings. It looked like Musa had someone he would be keeping a close eye on for the next few days, especially since Abaeze didn't seem very social at the moment.

Hikaru returned back to pride rock after her long walk, seeing the return of the other lion before sighing knowing that there was no chance of her sleeping since everyone was going to all over how Bodaway had returned also with Misae. The lioness just rolled her eyes not one to really care before making her way to where she normally slept and curled up, ears still perked as she closed her eyes.

Standing there in utter shock at the little scene before Misae, that jaw clamped shut immediately. Sure Abaeze was around two years of age and good enough young age to have a cub but come on. Even though the lioness was little the last time the large sun glistening lion was here, it was still pretty clear that she wasn't going to have any cubs for quite a while. If not any. Did Bodaway honestly think she would change that much. Suddenly all thoughts were obliterated at a loud roar. Caused Misae to dart and hide behind Ayita, low to the ground and close to shaking. Bright gold eyes wide at the sudden outburst. Things like that scared the daylights out of her. Eventually though she came out from behind the giant brown huntress. Ears low and head down. Slowly heading after the agitated lioness. "C-coming.." Afraid she was going to get snapped at next. No way did she want that heading in any way towards her direction.
So many things could have happened in a years time. Bodaway had taken notice that Ayita had doubled in size. Manaba was slightly bigger and had a fully mane. The dark Jawara grew. So many other familiar faces changed as well. If word was correct, the large brown furred huntress was now fully titled the Head Huntress. The tail chasing jokster was a King. The kind and wise Soyali had lost the sun of his life. How was Bodaway supposed to have the knowledge that the cream colored lioness did or did not have a mate and a cub. There was no flinch. No laughter. Not even an expression on the muzzle as dark red eyes watched Abaeze limp off with Misae following. "I know nothing. My paws just touch the stone. Already I have bad reactions towards me." The deep voice that left this sun colored lion was low at the end of his last sentenced. Ears drooped as his head dropped. Mane over his eyes as his lips twitched. "My nephew was born healthy and strong. I get enough time to get some sort of young relationship. Come back to my new home. Now I will be ignored by a young friend whom I haven't spoken with for a year." Lifting his head that set of eyes glanced down at Musa before looking away. Thinking of his grave mistake.
Removing a paw from her face, Ayita soon followed off after both of her hunting companions. Mainly to catch up with a dear friend and calm down the other. This was going to be quite a task. As she peered over her shoulder at the males. Locking the light green eyes on Bodaway. There was a mental message being told. For his safety. Keep away from her and let her approach him. Despite the fact that it was him who should apologize. In all reality both Abaeze and the male did. The lioness had seemed to momentarily forget just how long the golden male had been gone, his fur not setting against the stone of Pride Rock. Turning she headed off after the two. "Abaeze, please calm. You'll scare the others." This was only going to be the beginning of any lecture and or soothing words. Turning her head once more to see her brother head up to Soyali. Probably to tell him what was going on. Or get away from all the bad emotions.

"Don't feel so bad, Bodaway," Musa tried to soothed the now depressed lion. He seemed easily hurt, especially if he had been gone from his new home for such a long time. "She was in a bad mood before since Soyali had confessed to her or something. She won't go into details." The cub got his ears cuffed by Jawara and a reprimanding glare from him as well. "What? You know it's true. You were listening in when I was talking with her." The cub informed the warrior with a smug look. Barely anything got passed the cub's ears. He learned from the lazy maidens in the pride about gossip and eavesdropping. "How did you know I was listening in?" The warrior asked with surprised eyes. Locks of hair from his dark mane fell over his eyes, causing the lion to shake his head to remove them from his sight. "Because you were right above us, duh." The warrior snorted, rolling his eyes at the cub, but Musa didn't care. Instead he focused on Bodaway and tried to get his mind away from Abaeze. "Do you know any good stories, Bodaway? I wanna hear them." He pawed at the golden lion's legs, wanting him to hurry up and tell him some stories even though the cub was tired. He bit back a yawn as he stared up at the gold male.
Tearing pieces of meat from the remains of the carcass, Abaeze was mentally scolding herself for losing her temper. If she had better control of her emotions, she'd have handled that embarrassing situation better, but no, she just had to snap at everyone. She was so frustrated with the males of the pride right now, she could claw off their manes at any moment. The lioness wished the two males causing her trouble would disappear for a day. It was a cruel wish, but she just couldn't handle all these emotions. It was wrong for her to snap at Bodaway, but it was still hard for her to believe he had though she had cubs. It was only Ayita's voice that brought her back to the living world from her thoughts. "Ayita, I don't know what to do anymore. These misunderstandings are messing with me. I shouldn't have snapped at Soyali or Bodaway, but they seem to keep saying the wrong things without thinking. I keep acting without thinking..." She sighed in utter defeat. She knew she wasn't going to apologize to Bodaway for a while, it wasn't possible for her. She needed to cool off more before attempting an apology. "Sorry if I scared you, Misae. I didn't mean to snap. Here's some meat." The lioness apologized to Misae, pushing the meet towards her. The key difference between Misae and the males was she hadn't done or said anything to embarrass her. She was an innocent bystander.

Why was this dark colored cub set on Bodaway. The little fur ball was the size of a single gold paw. Simply since this thick build had larger proportions then size. Only making him appear rather larger. Silent still as Jawara and Musa seemed to argue, those ever so seeing sunset red eyes just focused off towards the three lioness that had left moments before. One whom was a dear friend from a long journey to and back. One a good enough friend to be considered just a older sister. And one which had caught those eyes even at a young age. That's right. Bodaway was mentally confessing to himself that he had a rather informal crush on the lioness. A year passed and things changed. And now a grave mistake could ruin everything. Feeling small hits to his legs, gold shimmered with movement. "Stories from my home pride." Plain and simple answer. Not wanting to put out too much unless the cub was truly curious. However, this young one was to be asleep before his... sister came back. "Where is it you usually sleep?.." Figuring it was a good idea to get the cub somewhere where he was comfortable.
Still a little jumpy Misae crept about on her toes head quite low. Not wanting to upset anyone on accident. That would ruin everything. Though a good apology made her ears twitch. Lifting her head it was as if her mood was slowly changing back. Knowing Abaeze was a little stressed, since she basically just admitted it, she ignored the meat and just pressed her forehead to the fellow lioness' shoulder. Huffing before turning and acting like a cub, rubbing her head on her shoulder. "It's okay." Giving a sheepish smile she bent her head and grabbed the meat. Lifting to just turn on her paws a good foot or two away to get comfortable. Laying down to enjoy her first meal in days. Bodaway wasn't really meant for hunting obviously. And even as good as she was, Misae couldn't get anything. So they just got here as fast as they could. Glad they did however. She didn't want to be gone another day. Now there was no way she was leaving again. Ever.
Ayita took no time in approaching Abaeze and Misae. No hesitation at all with her words. "You have been put under much pressure today. Even if you may not think so." The casual expression stayed as she sat on her haunches. Tail lightly curled beside her. Sitting like an egyptian cat at first, that head lowered a bit. Ears nice a mid leveled. Eyes soft with a slight upturn of lips. The typical look she gave. Reassuring. The motherly look the head huntress magically had. "Now, have you ever considered that you are maybe just realizing you are actually getting to an age where we are typically already about to bare cubs?" Just a little thought. This was coming from a lioness that wasn't going to settle down just yet. Simply for her own mental reasons and the job she held in the pride. "It isn't uncommon."

Musa yawned and nodded in response to Bodaway's question. "Yeah, I'll show you where we sleep." The cub shook himself so he wouldn't fall asleep on his paws. Saying a quick goodbye to Jawara, Musa ran towards his sleeping area, glancing back at the golden male to make sure he was following him.
Smiling at little Musa as he trotted off to show Bodaway his den area, the warrior said his goodbye to his friend and went to find their white king. He wasn't surprised to see Soyali was still perched on the rock like a bird on a tree branch. Shaking his mane, the lion yawned and stood a little ways off from the king before speaking. "Have you fallen asleep, King Soyali, or do you not wish to greet Bodaway and Misae right now?" He asked with a lazy look, licking his paw and bringing it down against his ear.
Abaeze stared at Misae as the lioness moved away from them to eat. She watched the lioness eat happily for several moments before she answered her huntress. Abaeze had thought about having cubs of her own, maybe, but she never thought much of it. Raising the cubs of now and Musa, and protecting the pride were her top priority. She wasn't embarrassed because she might have feelings for the males, but because it could hurt the pride's unity. "Ayita, I would be lying to say that I haven't thought about it because I have, but that's not the problem. Pausing with a soft sigh escaping her maw, the blue eyes of the lioness were on the dark-furred head huntress. Ayita could be a mother sometimes, but right now Abaeze wasn't in a position where she needed a mother. What she needed was a friend to understand, however she was still glad Ayita was here. "Words can be easily taken out of context, spread, and twisted to mean new things. I want to protect the pride's oneness and everyone's feelings. If I let one misunderstanding about myself and one of the popular males get out of paw, it'll hurt the pride. I really have no care for having my own cubs. I rather have them once you have cubs, my mighty and self-sacrificing huntress." She smiled softly, staring out at the slowly growing blue sky. The stars were beginning to disappear, and the animals of the savanna were waking from their dreams.

As Musa yawned, bid Jawara a farewell, and scampered off to some area Bodaway casually followed. Each simple stride causing him to quickly catch up to the sleep drowzy cub. Keeping the fiery dry gaze on the little ball of cur. Sooner then later however paws stopped. With a mighty show of white fangs himself, Bodaway yawned. The travel here had taken quite a toll on him. Didn't mean he would sleep. No. There was a task before him and it was to be done. Wouldn't want Musa to get in any trouble. It would simply be the living sun's fault. Glancing about a seemingly overly handsome grin played that squarish muzzle. Not like he was doing it on purpose. Focusing back on this cub, he found himself sitting. Then slowly laying to get comfortable. Thinking over what stories indeed to tell the little guy. "I take it you're an adventurer?" That simple question would make the story picking a lot easier. Would also let him get a better look into this cub. Sibling of Abaeze.
Even the sound of a voice didn't cause movement with the giant white beast. Eyes continued to stare out into space. Beyond the lands as the sun continued to come up slowly over the horizon. "Slumber isn't something which comes to me often." Head turned and empty eyes were looking towards Jawara. It would appear there was no point in the stare. Seeping into one's soul. "My greetings will be given quite later." Looking straight ahead once more, head was set on top of paws. If the warrior wished to join him, then he may. Soyali wouldn't deprive anyone of this amazing view. It was a sacred view. If you could say it that way. It was more or less something that every lion of the pride should be able to glance from this point of view. The highest point of Pride Rock. Wasn't earned by rank. Or offered. Nobody could truly stop anybody from enjoying part of their own home.
This lioness was good at giving open rhetorical answers. Ayita liked that about her friend. Besides the obvious fact she was there to talk to. There for the other members. A shoulder to lean against. Mighty downright loyal. Stubborn none the less. All the more caring. Especially for that little mud ball. "What the pride feels has no right to influence your own." Keeping that gaze on Abaeze the head huntress decided to lay down herself. Crossing a front paw over the other. Stoic posed and all. "Do not simply wait for me. I may never have any of my own. No male has caught my fancy my dear friend." Tere was a bit of a spark in her eyes. "Though might I say, before Bodaway opened his maw, you looked quite in awe my friend." Playful tone. But serious at the same time.

"Er...well, let's just say adventurer is a nicer term." Musa grinned sheepishly, thinking how he was more of a troublemaker and noisy brat for most lions. But that didn't stop him often from leaving and doing his own thing instead of following the maidens' orders. It earned him many scoldings, usually by Abaeze when she returned from her hunting with the other hunters and Ayita. The cub looked out of the den and saw the huntress still speaking with his sister. It was going to be a while until she returned to their den, which meant the cub had ample time to milk out as many stories from the drowsy golden lion. "Tell me stories about your pride, and, if you can, about Abaeze when she was younger. She never talks about herself. Only focuses on me. Lame." The cub made a face, sticking out his tongue and pretended to gag. He always wondered what the cream-furred lioness was like as a cub. Was she always as strict as she was now, or was she a trouble-marker like himself? They may be siblings, but they were still vastly different from one another, just like how Bodaway was different from him. The cub wondered about the golden male's birth pride as well. Were all the lions in his pride the same golden color, or was it just him? Where did his pride live? Was it close by, or far away, as far as the jungle where Simba lived with Timone and Pumba? The cub was very curious despite his sleepiness. He'd force himself to stay away until he heard all that he wanted to hear, and he would ask for more stories once Abaeze was away hunting with the others later.
Jawara was a little surprised by the lifeless look in Soyali's blue eyes. The warrior felt insignificant while those eyes were staring him down. While Jawara's blue eyes were as crystal-clear and brilliant as the reflection of sunlight off the water, Soyali's was ghostly and surreal. It was a trait of the king that made the warrior feel like he was a wise as he seemed. Maybe what he had heard from Abaeze and Musa's conversation was false? Maybe the king really was still depressed as he was before? the warrior hoped not because the pride would suffer from the loss of one of its great kings. "Abaeze and Ayita wouldn't want to hear that. My king, you must sleep eventually." The warrior's crystal-clear blue eyes held the king's soul-piercing eyes. Jawara wanted to brush his rosy brown man from his face, but that would mean breaking eye contact with the king for a moment. "I'm sure Bodaway and Misae will be glad to receive greetings from you, my king. I'm sure it would dampen their spirits if they didn't speak with you." The reddish-brown warrior mused, thinking about the light-furred lioness and the golden warrior that just returned to their pride. Already their welcome back was ruined by the simple misunderstanding about Abaeze and Musa's relationship. The warrior couldn't deny the humor he found in the altercation, though once Abaeze snapped, he had some fear. An angry lioness could easily shave off a male's mane.
"I care about the pride and Musa more than myself. You're the same, Ayita. You allow the pride to influence you." Abaeze pointed out to the head huntress. How many times had Ayita placed the pride's needs above her own wants? Plenty of times, and it just showed how much they cared for the pride. She snorted in response of the statement involving Bodaway. As she thought about the golden male, she couldn't help recalling when she first met him when she was starting to think about males as more than friends. Yes, she had been awed by him, but that was because of the way the sun lit his pelt in the morning light. "Mr. Sunshine is nothing more than a new member of the pride and an old friend. But," the lioness had not missed the gleam in Ayita's eyes when she said that no male had caught her interest, it was obvious someone did, she just didn't know who, "I have to say you're being deceitful about having no male that's caught your eye. Who's the lucky lion, Ayita? He's not from the pride, is he?" She would drive the conversation towards Ayita's direction because the lioness was curious about her love interest. Ayita wasn't likely to talk about any male that caught her eye unless he really love her back, and he would have to be a noble male for that to happen.

The little shy or sheepish look of a grin on Musa's little muzzle made a gold brow lift higher than the other. A rather quizical look played Bodaway's own expressions. That was a look the lion was all too familiar with. This cub was a trouble maker. It was pretty obvious he was getting mighty comfortable. "On the outskirts of the pridelands, a jungle touches it's golden borders. Trees apon trees intertwined by vines. Roots makes arches like the rocks of Pride Rock. Rushing walls of water cascade over steep drops, flowing down rivers. This jungle stretches farther then the pride plains themselves." The cub wanted a story and information it seemed. Bodaway would give him all in one. He wasn't all that good with normal cub stories. Oh no. Being a bit of a adventurer himself, he was good at this sort of story telling. "Add the very edge of the jungle lies a never ending view of blue. Deep and darker then the deepest watering hole. Sand softer and finer then fresh wind blown dust. This is where I am from. No body really knows how long my pride has been there. But it's said that we were created from the sun itself. A trait we carry with out fur. Bright as the sun itself. Though we come in many different shades." The deep red sunset eyes seemed to miss home. But, this was his new home. Bodaway laughed, looking down at Musa. "Besides my own family, there are two other royal families. Pelts almost as bright as are own. To the North lies a group whose fur is a deeper shade. More towards the orange setting sun. To the South, deeper to a late day star. To stop inbreeding we are open to each other. Open and allow lost lions who travel the jungle join us." Bodaway was really getting good. "In my pride there is only one king. The title is not shared. I am the second son of Cheveyo. Deep gold lion who's size rivals your kind king. Roar as loud as a crashing wave. I didn't want to be just a second son. If I had stayed I would have simply been nothing more. Then, Misae wandered onto our beaches. having gotten lost chasing prey. To return her home, I was given the task to escort her. When we arrived, that's when I met your sister." Oh his story telling wasn't over. Far from it.
With that gaze pulled straight away from the deeep colored warrior it simply went somewhere else. Lids closed over the empty eyes. The warmth of the sun lighting up the white fur. Making the ghost like king seem more of a cloud during this time of the day. Was a wonder as to how simple lighting could change such an appearance. "A bit of slumber grabbed hold a bit ago." Soyali slept a tad when he seemed to slumber away beside little Musa. Their conversation still rolling through his head. Opening those eyes they stared back out into space. No muscle in that entire body moved. However the slight breeze ruffled the fluffed mane. Rolling like the tall grasses of the lands out before the rock. "Agreed. The two have been gone for quite a while. Deserve a good greeting. However, I do believe they are rather busy at the moment." A deep intake of breath let out a heavy sigh. Oh how warm the sun felt.
That calm expression never wavered from Ayita's face. Never changing nor forming into another. "What I do and should do are two quite different things my friend. I allow the pride to influence how I feel for the simple fact of my status. Which will not change as far as I am still in this body of mine." Gaze switching was Abaeze to Misae, the other white cream colored lioness was finishing up the meal she was given. However there was a drowsy look to the young lioness. It was clear she was starting to drift off to sleep. Laughing a little she turned her attention back to Abaeze. It appeared Bodaway had a nickname now. "Why do I slightly doubt that. 'Nothing more' changes rather quick." Another little laugh entered the air. "As for myself? I sha'll not give anything of the subject for there is nothing to tell of such things." The huntress wasn't quite sure of anything at the moment. Whether she herself was simply curious or snagged. Wouldn't admit to it even to herself until assumptions were truth.

"Why are you stopping? Keep going."Musa urged the golden lion, pawing at his side with his tiny paws. Three prides with pelts as that of the sun was unheard of to the sub. One like the morning sun, the other like midday, and the last like the setting sun. It was beautiful and too surreal to imagine possible. If he had not met Bodaway, hr wouldn't be able to believe it himself, but he has speaking to the lion right now as he told the story. "I wanna hear more." He pouted, already trying to climb on Bodaway to keep himself and the lion awake. The warrior's home already sounded amazing, and it was unlikely that the cub would ever visit it. Blue-gray eyes stared at the lion as if commanding him to continue with his story. A pride that had only one king was far too cruel, but it sounded nice because no one would argue with him. Musa wondered if he could be a king one day that could rule with a definite paw.
Jawara suppressed the urge to raise his eyebrow at the king's words. He still looked like a tired ghost going through daily life aimlessly. "Musa stole Bodaway. He's having him tell stories. The little cretin is just the same as always." The warrior snorted with an amused gleam in his blue eyes before looking over at the yawning Misae. He smiled and chuckled. "Misae looks just about ready to fall asleep on her paws. She must be as tired as Bodaway." They had traveled so far, it didn't surprised the lion at all. With the rising sun, he would be even more tired after the busy day he and the others had. The cubs were still sleeping with their mothers and the maidens. Everyone awake looked ready to fall asleep.
Abaeze snorted, shaking her head in response to the huntress. "Are we both using our current positions as excuses, I wonder?" She glanced over at Misae and smiled at the young lioness. She would take her to her sleeping quarters once she was finished with her conversation with Ayita. The creamy huntress wouldn't allow her friend to revert the subject back to her so easily. Ayita allowed something to slip in her words. "Hmm...and I sense that it changed rather quick for you as well." She pawed around a small pebble as she spoke. Her blue eyes stayed on the huntress as a playful grin emerged from her muzzle and a mischievous tail flick sending the pebble towards the head huntress. Ayita was definitely into someone, and she intended to find out who this lion was, and how he stole her huntress' heart. "So you do have someone you're interested in. You answered and denied it much too quickly for my tastes." She placed her head on her paws and grinned at the lioness.
