"Alright.. Well then.....worst high school experience." Alex replied. She didn't know what else to ask that wasn't "job" related. After that dare, she wasn't risking anyone's identity with the clown around.

Lucas was glad he had eidetic memory, and he wasn't embarrassed to talk about his worst high school experience.
"Okay, I was a freshman. Minding my own business right? At lunch one day, I bumped into the biggest, baddest kid in school. The guy picked me up-- 'cause back then I was sort of scrawny-- and dumped me head-first into a trashcan in front of a bunch of kids in the cafeteria... I had to take a LONG shower afterward... and people teased me for about a year. The dude also challenged me to a fight later that same day, and... well, I didn't fight back against him." he said.
"I had like three broken ribs and a fractured jawbone, but... Meh."

C.J. smirked. "Didn't that happen to you, Are-?" this time, HE was cut off by Arell.
"Zip it, scrawny." Arell growled to C.J. He did NOT like having that revealed.

Alex's eyes widened. "Wow. It's a good thing you bulked up." she said with a grin. Poor guy. Can't say that ever happened to her. She was usually the one putting people into trash cans. "Your turn now."

Lucas was about to respond, when a purring sound reached his ears. He looked down and saw a black cat in a Green Lantern outfit, with a GL ring on her tail.
"Carlie?" he asked, picking the cat up. "How'd you get turned into a cat?"
"Miss Edel turned me into a kitteh!" the cat said happily through her ring, as it was in fact Carlie Jordan who was the cat. "It's really cool!"
Lucas raised an eyebrow, and let Carlie down. She immediately went over to C.C., purring. Lucas, however, looked to Sapphire.
"Okay... Truth or Dare, Saph?" he asked.

Sapphire blinked and stared at Lucas for a moment. She wanted to protest being called on again. But...anything he had would be far easier than Joker's.
"Well...I just got done with a Dare. I'll take Truth." she replied.
C.C. was far more interested in the costumed cat that had entered the game as well. He stared wide-eyed at her, then over at a spot on the wall. "Really? We're doing this? I have NEVER seen anything IM come into mainstream. Then again.....this isn't the main...." he mumbled out loud. But, he quickly shook off the surprise and devoted the rest of his attention to the cat that came up onto the chair with him. Purring his approval.

"NOW I've seen ev'rything." C.J. said, looking at the Green Lantern cat. He was confused and interested at the same time. Arell however, kept an eye about for any more trouble from some of the crowd.

"Gah, I suck at Truth questions... Okay.... Um... Have you ever... Uh... ooh! Okay, what's one of the stupidest things you've ever done with a friend?" Lucas asked Misty. Carlie, meanwhile, was sitting in the chair C.C. was sitting in, watching the others with much interest.

Arell smirked as he calmly listened to the group. He was just waiting for that interesting or funny dare that would make the night . . . and if not for the fact that a lot of folks thought he was at an arm-wrestling tournament, would be on facebook laughing about what went on.

Sapphire thought for a moment. "Herm....that's a good one. Well...one of my friends was opening a themed resteraunt, and a few of us volunteered to help with opening night. What she didn't tell us was that we'd have to wear cat costumes the whole night." she replied.
Alex snorted and put a hand over her mouth. She remembered that night. One of the extremely few times having homework was a plus.
Sapphire looked over at her and gave her a bit of a look. "Truth or dare, Alex?"
Alex stopped laughing and stared at her. "Again?"
"Yes again."
"Fine. Dare." she replied. If she said truth, Saph would probably re-ask her question. In front of Lu-.....oh.....
Sapphire grinned at her, and glanced between Alex an Lucas.
"Oh, nonononono...." Alex mumbled.
"What was that dare you gave me and Jo-"
"I'm not kissing....." she snapped, then stopped and blushed heavily.

C.J. and Arell just about died laughing. They BOTH had been in that situation before . . . winding up in the employment of a country-western band back home who made it imperative that they dressed up in the tackiest Buck Owens-inspired Nudie suits. They couldn't be seen anywhere without being laughed at.
However when the situation came up about Alex, Arell smirked. He KNEW where this was going, and he KNEW he wanted to make fun of C.J. for HIS time in the spotlight earlier.
"Huh, re'currin' pattern, ain't it?" Arell asked, nudging C.J. in the side. He smirked.
"I'm just glad I'm single, buddy-boy. If you wound up in this jam, you'd be in the doghouse by the time we get home . . . and she's a CAT!" C.J. responded to Arell . . . joke backfired in the big Cajun's face.

Lucas may have been somewhat naive when it came to relationships, but he wasn't totally oblivious. He glanced to Alex and blinked. "What? You don't want to kiss me?" he asked, and in fact, he sounded a bit disappointed, even though he didn't realize it. Then he frowned.
"Well, I guess I'm not surprised," he said softly. "No girl has ever wanted to kiss me..."
It wasn't an attempt to guilt-trip her into a dare; he was being honest, and the pheromones he was giving off would show this to Alex. When it came to women, Lucas had very low self-esteem.

Alex's eyes widened and she immediately looked to Lucas. She seen the look on his face, and was instantly reminded of their little hotel stay again. "No. It's not that." Alex replied, sounding rather guilty. AGAIN she had unintentionally hurt his feelings. "I just...." she began, but couldn't think of how to explain why she wasn't willing to kiss him.
She closed her eyes, and sighed deeply. Then, she got up, grabbed the collar of his shirt in both her hands, and yanked him close to her. Close enought that she could whisper what she wanted without being heard by everyone in the room.
"I would just rather this have been because of something other than a dare." she whispered. Then, she pulled him in close and gave him a first kiss worth remembering. Maybe it was just because she was feeling guilty. Him having saved her life quite a few times already....and this was the second time she had made him feel completely rejected. Or...maybe it was just because she hadn't gotten to do this when they were both pumped up with......those urges.

Lucas made a small noise to indicate his absolute shock... and then before he knew it, he had wrapped his arms around Alex and had pulled her into a deeper kiss, his lips sliding slowly across hers. His mind felt almost blank with bliss... The girl he was, admittedly, crushing on was giving him his first kiss! He felt so very happy, and... To be honest, he didn't want this moment to end. Ever.

Arell and C.J. looked at what happened and smirked. Despite his almost equally rotten luck in dating, C.J. kind of hoped he'd get picked next to do truth or dare . . . he was crap with words and with the right timing, he coul- nah, that would never work. Arell on the other hand, played it rather cool.
