"H-hey! That guy's getting away!" gonk Rin exclaimed. Hearing Hunter, he would gaze over to him and gave a nod. "Sure." He would put away his daggers before he would go over to pick one of the injured. "Though will your boss and the ladies be fine without us?"
Sirea had watched Ilene fired at Camulos. He's pretty fast. She thought to herself just before she heard Ilene's question on where Camulos was going. It was then her fox ears perked up within her hood when she heard Sol. "Who are you?" She asked, though only saw the male wingfolk ran off into the streets. She would follow after him and Ilene. "Don't know about you, Ilene, but I'm finding this rather confusing." sweatdrop She too had wondered why Sol didn't fly.

Colette was certain that Lloyd, Hunter, and Rin would be able to handle Camulos. Though there was a chance that he would follow after them. She would draw out her chakrams as she glanced at Rhone. "Hopefully no one was killed." She said with a concerned tone. She knew Lloyd would take care of himself, though she was concerned about the crowd of people.

Eduardo leaped backwards off the weapon that had been used to deflect him and landed on the ground. He wasn't going to let this guy out of his sight until he was out of the city. "Yeah, get out of here! Seriously!" He would pursue him, though not in the way one might expect. With the sound of wingbeats and a low roar, a blue dragon (It would resemble a "Were Dragon" to those knowledgeable about monsters), the size of a man and half again, flew over the city towards Camulos. Eduardo did not appear to be anywhere in sight.

Lloyd was about to chase after Camulos, but indeed noticed the mess this panic was causing. Even moreso when someone roared and transformed into a weredragon right before their eyes. Ever since their mysterious rise as a race some decades ago, they were viewed in fear by the great majority. He turned to Hunter and pointed in the direction opposite the Laboratories. "The infirmary's in the other side of town. You can't miss it, it's got a big red cross sign above its door." He still wanted to go and back up Rhone, but he couldn't ignore what was happening in all this panic. That thought in mind, he added, "You gonna be alright here, or do you need another hand?" He lowered his blades, prepared to sheathe them if he did. ~~~ Azriel landed near Rhone to rest her wings while they waited. She looked a bit surprised at what he said. "I have to wonder how that could be.... O.O It sounds like we've got stories to exchange," she remarked with a bit of a smile, remembering how he said he wanted to ask why her wings were mismatched. "Azriel...you already trust him enough to share our story? Likewise, is it not a little hasty to think he would trust you with his story...?""I actually kinda agree with 'er there. I mean, you just met and all. And you gotta be careful who you're talking to. You get these random mercs comin' at'cha sometimes, remember?" :/In a pause for thought, Azriel turned a zoned-out stare toward the ground and thought out loud. "I just have this feeling we're kinda even..." It sounded like she was addressing that to Rhone, adding to what she last said to him, but she was really replying to those voices in her head. She shook her head and looked up when he addressed her once more, unsheathing her saber and dagger again. "O-oh, of course I am. I travel alone, so I pretty much have to be if I wanna defend myself."  ((I didn't mean to make it look like Colette's ignored, just...don't know how to respond to that... sweatdrop ))

Hunter nods to Lloyd.
"I still see two injured people...I can carry one more, but after that, it becomes a balancing issue...think you could lift one onto my shoulders and carry the other? Like I said, the boss can handle himself, and he wasn't alone. I'd like to get these people to safety before leaving town."
He then acknowledges Rin.
"Yeah, don't worry....besides...I haven't seen the third member of our crew anywhere..."

Rhone curiously looks over at Azriel and notices her zoning out as she speaks.
"Yeah...even sounds like a good word for it. I think you're onto something, Blues. Glad I had you pegged right being a fighter. I'm gonna have to formally introduce you to my buddies once this is all done...I bet you'd fit right in."

Lloyd sheathed his blades upon hearing Hunter's answer. "Actually, I can carry them both, no problem." He looked around for the two people Hunter mentioned, then went over to pick them up, carrying one person on each shoulder. Bearing his Cruxis Crystal over the course of a century granted him Angelic abilities, greatly enhanced strength being among them.
He rejoined Hunter and Rin and began to walk at a pace easy for them to catch up with. "Follow me."
Truthfully, he still was a little worried about Colette, but over the years built enough faith to believe she was strong in her own right. He trusted that she didn't need him to protect her all the time, and so just went along simply hoping that she'll remain alright.

Azriel briefly smiled a bit again. "You think? I'd...I'd be delighted." ^_^
Turning her glance back to the gate to watch for Camulos' arrival, she (as well as the other two entities dwelling within her) began to wonder if it was really such a good idea to try to fit in with a group again. Especially after that certain, terribly unfortunate event a few years ago...

Lilith and the cloaked man had eluded the guards and soon found themselves on the roof of a building near where the new commotion was
"It seems we escaped Laurence's grasp again"
Lilith shrugged "that guy never gives up; he's practically a stalker...and he says im the menace"
the cloaked man chuckled then looked over where the fight
"it's those people from earlier...that dark skinned elf, I feel like I have seen him before"
"is he part of Attor's group?" Lilith asked, somewhat intrigued
"no I don't think that's it."

Rin's feline ears perked up when he heard the roar before looking to see someone transforming into a weredragon. "Whoa!" He blinked a bit. Didn't think I'd find another who's like me. He then heard Hunter. "Third member? How people you guys have in your crew?" He asked as he followed after Lloyd, trying to ignore his hunger to the best of his ability. "I hope we get to eat once this is over." gonk

Colette blinked a bit when Azriel seemed to be zoning out when she spoke. When Rhone mentioned about his buddies, she gazed over to him. "I would like to meet your friends as well." She said with a smile before looking to the gate.

Camulos took a quick look behind him to see a dragon flying after him, "Well now, that was unexpected." He jump over to another roof noticing that there were several windows open with an array of items sitting on the ledge, "Rubble Toss." with his free hand he gave a slight twitch and sent the items up into the path of the dragon. He knew that the items would would cause little if any damage, but maybe he would lucky and have the pie he saw smack him in the face.
He made one final leap over the city wall and landed outside. Camulos took a quick look around noticing the dark elf and company to his right, "Yokai Fang." he grabbed his boomerang and unleashed a shockwave skidding across the ground at them.

Sol, and who ever followed him just got outside the city gate to see Camulos attacking Rhone's group. "Oh boy."
Ilene was right behind Sol.

Rhone notices the shockwave heading towards him and quickly conjures up a glowing ball of mana in his free hand, which he lobs at the shockwave.
"Mana Sphere!"
The orb collides with the shockwave and explodes, sending dust and wind everywhere, but dissipating the shockwave.
"I see you followed me. Are you actually planning on fighting? If it were just me, it would be a fair fight, but I'm sure you've noticed that I have some allies. If you simply walk away, I won't pursue you."

Hunter nods at Lloyd and turns towards the infirmary.
"Alright, let's go then."
Hunter sprints forward while keeping the injured on his shoulders. As he ran he grinned at Rin.
"Officially?...three."

(( Vance, you kind of made Hunter ignore Rin there. Er, I'm a bit lost as to who's this "third member" he was referring to. sweatdrop )) The resulting wind made Azriel's wings flare up. She took a step back and flapped them to blow the dust away from herself, then reassumed a defensive stance while she waited for Camulos' next move. It seemed Rhone was trying to talk this out first, and she didn't want to ruin that. "...Yokai? Why does that term sound...familiar?" Chiaro mused.~~~ At the infirmary, nurses soon saw Lloyd and two others approaching and carrying people. Perking up in alertness, they opened the doors to make way and gestured them toward beds to place the injured on. Two nurses attended to Lloyd, to help the injured he was carrying off his shoulders and get them settled into a bed. Two more approached Hunter, and one approached Rin. "We'll take it from here, Sir Lloyd," said one of the nurses with him, bowing, "Thank you very much for your help." Lloyd rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Sheesh. No need to be that formal with me. sweatdrop And it was no problem."After they let him be, he looked to Hunter and Rin and waited until they were through with things. They could then go catch up with Rhone and the others once they're free.

Indeed, the dragon's scales and attempts at avoidance prevented what little damage could have been inflicted. However, he did find himself with a face covered in pie filling. Swerving through the air, he used his long tongue to lick it off his eyes, then grumbled loudly in annoyance.
The dragon landed on the building and watched as the man with the boomerang leaped over the city wall. He made no moves to pursue said man, for he was out of the city. He was still annoyed at his intrusion, however.
Annoyances aside, the dragon shrunk back into the size and shape of a certain half-elf, who then proceeded to climb down the building. "Well, glad he's out. ...But everyone's still running?" Eduardo was debating over continuing the chase. "Does anyone know just what the heck is going on? I don't!"

Colette had taken also a defensive stance as Rhone's attack had dissipated the shockwave. She waited to see what Camulos's next move was, though she hoped that Rhone would be able to talk it out with him.
As they reached outside the city gate, Sirea had also spotted Camulos attacking Rhone's group. She placed her hand on the hilt of her katana, ready to draw her weapon. However, it would seem that Rhone was trying to talk it out. If does turn ugly, she would step in to help them, though she hoped that Rhone manage to work it out.

Rin walked over to one of the beds the nurses had gestured, and placed the injured person he was carrying on the bed. He looked to the nurse that went up to him with a grin. "No need to thank me. Just doing what I can." Afterward, he would walk over to join up with Lloyd. "I hope the ladies and Hunter's boss were able to make it safety." He would then gaze over to Hunter. "Wonder if we'll meet this person."

"Fair?" Camulos started to laugh, "Fair is irrelevant, and has no place in war. Wars are won by over powering the other, by deceiving not only your enemies but also your soon to be allies. Where I come from war has become nothing more but a way of life. I know of fairness, but chose to avoid it to make me stronger." Camulos stuck his blade in the ground, "I fight to end a war before it even occurs here in your land! But I have failed in getting any closer to stopping it. In the end, the only way I feel I can help is to destroy seeds that would be turned against you in the future, thus your research must be eliminated. Give it to me in full so I may erase it before my home can use it as well against you."
Ilene was confused at what Camulos was saying, "War? What war? What the hell is he talking about?"
Sol look in disbelief at Camulos, 'Gotta act the part,' he thought, knowing all to well the way Camulos wanted this was playing out, "No way... he can't be a... wait, they plan to take here too? Dam, and here I thought I'd finally be able to live in peace on this side." he gritted his teeth.

Rhone crosses his arms and shakes his head.
"Your logic is shaky at best. You're telling me that my best bet for the world's safety is to take away something it could use to defend itself? Yeah, good luck with getting me to comply with that. I've been in war too. Was a general once. Got tired of it and went back to sailing. And as a general, I can tell you're greatly outnumbered. It's not just you against three...there's already a few people behind you, with more on the way. Hell, you're actually surrounded on 3 sides..."

Hunter grins at Rin and Lloyd before walking towards the door.

He exits the door, draws his blade from his back, and begins sprinting towards the city gate.

Azriel maintained her hard defensive stance, but her eyes widened at Camulos' words. This confused her, how could there be a war starting in Aselia? The surviving Heroes of the Regeneration worked to make sure that the disagreements between the Sylvarant and Tethe'alla regions were mostly quelled. If there were a war threatening to start, wouldn't there be some obvious signs? Although, the way Camulos worded things confused her as well. "Where I come from"? She heard of no certain regions in the world that was constantly under war.
"Wh-what do you mean there's a war going to start here? H-how could you know that?" she asked him in a raised voice.

Lloyd chuckled a bit and smirked at Hunter's remark. "Heh...yeah, let's---" At this point, he saw him sprinting already. "Hahah, right. No need to be redundant." He stepped out the door, drew his swords, and started sprinting as well, catching up with Hunter.
He soon led his end of the group right outside the gates, ending up right behind Camulos. It didn't seem like much had happened yet, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. "Colette! Rhone! You guys okay?"
