"Did not, I had plenty of time..." Camilla said, almost indignant. Her nose had lifted out of the book, though her mind was still twirling from the wonderful world she just left. "Anyway, nice to see you too." She said, almost sarcastically after hearing no "good morning" from him. Still, her face split in that ear-to-ear grin as she laughed silently. It was only for a second, but it was enough. She looked over her shoulder and saw Jamila not far behind. "Ah, there is the ever so wonderful sister of mine," the words were out with a wave towards the brightly colored girl. Looking at her own clothes, Camilla had grabbed a tight, grey T-shirt with what was supposed to look like a white long sleeve shirt at the sleeves. Her jeans were stonewashed, faded, loose. Her hair was a messy bun, half brushed, half left a mess (for a messy bun it shouldn't look all neat and proper...)...
(Thanks. xD My character has two major flaws that should be presenting themselves fairly shortly. They are very subtle, but also... obvious? xD I won't spoil them though, because they are good for character progression. And I have no skill, I just type exactly what I think. If my thought ends in the middle of a sentence that's where I stop. It's actually fairly messy, but it gives Camilla the personality I'm looking for.)

Jamila's hair bounced around her face and a few loose strands stuck to the peachy lip gloss she had put on, leaving an uncomfortable sticky sensation, as she jogged towards the other two. Nicholas and Camilla. Camilla and Nicholas. She didn't think much of it right now other than that they had probably met before, but ... ? Jamila approached them finally, abruptly ending her short spell of jogging with a slight scuffle of the pink high tops she wore under a cream colored minidress and neon green leggings. Hi you guys! She said to them in a surprisingly high pitched voice - sometimes during the mornings it just didn't feel like her brain was working right at all. If you're not having some super serious conversation, can I join you?

"Oh I'm sorry. Good morning Camila." Nicholas said, seeing her smile, his glasses slipping again. He then turned to see Jamila heading towards them. " Not really. You can join. Hey, how's your eye feeling?" He then asked, a little more serious now then he was before.

"It's no intrusion to me." she said, looking towards Nicholas. Camilla was always slightly more empathetic than her sister, so it came to no surprise that they shared thoughts on the boy. She let her sister stand between them if she wanted. Hopefully the two of them would start talking and she could just listen quietly. She loved just listening to conversations, they were like stories that she didn't have to read!
(Time for bed. Sorry. Talk to you guys tomorrow hopefully.)

Jamila pushed the remaining strands of hair from her glossy lips and smiled. Aside from some leftover humiliation, I'll be fine, she said in response to the question of how she was feeling. So um, how are you guys doing? Tommorow is Friday! At this point in time Jamila had began walking at a leisurely pace towards the school, her blue-violet eyes flickering from Nicholas to Camilla with curious interest. Her large navy-blue bag swung slightly on her shoulder as she walked and she was holding her binder against her chest so that it wouldn't fall or be lost in the huge bag. Sometimes even the way the twins walked and behaved looked identical, although at the same time they couldn't be more different. It was a curious thing to think about, how twins could be the same and yet so different at the same time, walking next to each other towards their school.

Nicholas nodded with a smile as he walked along side the two girls. "Well, I finished the piece I've been working on for some time. You've heard part of it Jamila and I was working on it at the library with Camila but it's finally finished." He said, proud of his achievement. "I don't know how many times I played it just to get it to sound right but now I can play it without worry." He said happily.

"That's wonderful." Camilla said with a serene smile. She hadn't noticed, but she was walking exactly opposite of her sister. Instead of a binder she had a small book held against her, her bag hung off both of her shoulders, and her walk was brisk and business-like, but slow. "I hope you'll play it sometime for us."

Heel, toe. Heel, toe. Heel, toe. No matter what mood she was in Jamila always had a strange bounce in her step, but it was most likely out of habit- Her shoes scuffled again, another one of her stranger habits, when she heard her name. Weird habit number three. Thank goodness Jamila wasn't so common a name that she would be enticed to respond even if whoever called her name wasn't necessarily speaking to her. Thats awesome! How long have you been working on it? It was a bit of an odd question, but it was a question to keep the conversation going - certainly Jamila didn't want to run into one of those akward patches of silence where someone wants to say something but becomes too afraid ... They were passing an old park right about now, and Jamila turned her head to look at it. It was still pretty early in the morning, so no children had arrived yet, but just seeing the park always reminded her of coming here when she and her sister were little.

Nicholas almost stopped dead in his tracks when Camila said he should play it for them, he glasses crooked. "P-play?" He never really had an audience of more than one person and just the thought of two people really made him nervous, especially these two. He quickly started walking again and re-adjusted his glasses, trying to hide away his blush. "How long it took? Well uh.... I think almost three months." He uttered, still a little shy about the idea of playing for them. Jamila only had just a small portion of the piece, and the idea of playing the whole thing just freaked him out.

Jamila hadn't really noticed the way Nicholas was reacting to the idea of playing his piece for them, her attention having switched from the old park to the school looming ahead of them, but she did notice that he had just about stopped abruptly behind them. She stopped long enough to let him catch up and hear his answer, that it had taken him about three months to work on his piece. She raised her eyebrows for half a second in an admiring sort of surprise. You must be very patient, she said with a slightly self-deprecating smile. More than I am, at least. Being in competitive sports meant that Jamila herself was very competitive and rarely had patience for long lectures or huge assignments in school. Maybe she could learn a thing or two from Nicholas and Camilla, she thought as they approached the last street they had to cross before approaching the school.

"Oh would you play it?" Camilla asked him, batting her eyelashes in a way she only ever see work with characters in stories. Cami had noticed Nicholas stop, but wouldn't say anything about it. He was nervous, that was obvious, but he would learn to be a bit more outgoing if he were to be either of their friends.

Nicholas' heart started to beat nervously. He didn't know if he should play for them or not, not knowing if his piece was good enough. His glasses started to slip again, he quickly pushing them back up. "Uh.... s-sure..." He then finally replied back to Camila, looking at her from the corner of his eyes. It was the batter of her eyelashes that really did it for him. It made him go red slightly. He then went to Jamila with her comment on patience. "It's not really the patience, it's the urge to finish a piece and trying to make it perfect. I may still work on it more if I still don't think it's good enough yet." He said.

Although she didn't dare say anything about it, Jamila suddenly heard Nicholas stuttering - was he nervous? In the back of her mind she knew he probably was just nervous because he had never played for anyone else before, but still another part of her remained curious and even a little eager to investigate. Eyes flickering, she crossed the street - wait, had Camilla just batted her eyelashes at him? A few minutes later they were on the school's campus and Jamila stole a look at her two companions again; what were their first classes again? Curious and feeling slightly disquieted for some reason, Jamila realized the only class she had with Nicholas was P.E. and Camilla ... what was her first class again? So ... um ... what are your first classes, you guys? ... I have Spanish.
