As Taiyson kept going with his string of punches, the attacks went faster and faster and faster as the seconds ticked by. He was up to about 4 punches per second, and he showed no signs of fatigue. The carnivore was all about being ruthless and not backing down at all. The fatigue would catch up to him after he came back to his senses, but he'd deal with that when he needed to. The chair flew towards Taiyson, and in one fluid motion as if he had practiced it his entire life, he pulled back an arm as if he was going to punch, grabbed the chair and swung it at Isaac. Even with falling backwards and protecting himself with his arms and blades, quite a few of the punches hit him. They hurt pretty bad, and most would likely bruise later on... But he'd dealt with infinitely worse before, and honestly wasn't bothered too much. Not according to plan, the chair-catch, but he immediately knew how to handle this new challenge. He went with the fall's momentum, rolling in a backwards-somersault, and bringing his arms from in front of his face to behind his head with his palms towards the ground, as if about to do a handstand. Instead, he launched himself again, feet-first, at the chair the man was now swinging down. He aimed a scissor-kick carefully; one foot should hit the chair, either out of the man's hands or into his knees, depending on whether or not he let go, and the other foot should hit the bottom of his chin. Considering the distance between the two, less than two feet really, and the speed Isaac was going... Taiyson had about half a second to do something. If he let go of the chair to protect his chin, the chair would be hit by Isaac's foot into the man's knee. If he changed the direction of the chair to hit Isaac anyway, Isaac's foot would block it as he nailed Taiyson's chin with his foot. He'd basically turned the weapon he'd accidentally given Taiyson as an attack into his own advantage; unless he teleported again or gave up on the attack completely and backed off, neither option being likely given his rage-like state, Isaac would have his one hit.

Taiyson didn't change the chair's direction. He also didn't try to block anything. Instead, using his free hand, he grabbed the foot that Isaac had aimed at his chin and started swinging him around in a circle, building up momentum, then finally threw Isaac and the chair toward a wall. He roared again, his primal urges shouting in victory at defeating Isaac's plans. Time remaining: 01:21

((I totally thought Taiyson had both hands on the chair. xD ))
Isaac chuckled, spinning himself so that he flew towards the wall feet-first yet again, and as he touched the wall, both swords were pointed at the ground; he pulled the triggers then. And it was like someone flipped a switch- the gravity in the room literally shut off, leaving Isaac floating against the wall. He pushed himself off hard, and flew through the air at Taiyson, aiming two slices from either side with the sword; one at the neck and upper chest, one lower towards the legs. And as it was coming from both left and right, he couldn't dodge in either direction without being caught by the closing blade.... And moving backwards would just delay the inevitable hit. Since one blade was aimed higher and lower than Taiyson could move before Isaac was on him, literally the only direction he could move without being hit was directly towards Isaac. And the best part was? Even if he did that, all it would take was a simple flick of the wrist to make the swords strike Taiyson.
Taiyson may have had a lot of training, but this was Isaac's game now. Zero-gravity was his specialty, and unless Taiyson had fought in space as often as he had on regular land... Isaac had the upper hand here. Taiyson probably didn't even know the first rule of zero-gravity fighting... Every action had an equal and opposite reaction. It worked on regular gravity, too, but the reactions in zero-gravity were seemingly magnified. In truth, the gravity wasn't there any more to hold the acting force in place... For example, if a man struck a nail with a hammer in regular gravity, the nail went in the wood but the man didn't move. If a man did the exact same action in zero-gravity... The nail would still go into the wood, but the man would also go flying back. So every move Taiyson made to move or attack would alter his course and speed dramatically, a change that Isaac doubted he was expecting. However, Isaac had been training like this for a few years... And he was pretty good.
So, recap; Isaac was flying towards Isaac at high speeds with both swords swinging from opposite directions in different heights, making evading the attacks highly difficult. Plus the gravity was now off, so any move Taiyson made would have drastic effects on his location, speed, and direction.

(Lol I just checked and I did say 'an arm' as in one XD Though I've made the same mistake a few times before, so I know how you feel)
As soon as Taiyson felt the gravity in the room disappear, his pupils changed back to normal and so did his demeanor. Fighting in zero-gravity would take some brains instead of just instinct. Taiyson remembered back to all the planets he'd visited before coming to the academy; a lot of them had lighter gravity than his home world, so he was used to not as much gravity. Of course, zero gravity was a different story, since there was nothing to hold you down. Then he saw Isaac and his swords coming at him again. He didn't want to use his flash step, and since it was only him running as fast as light for a split second, he was pretty sure he couldn't use it, so he did the only thing he could think of: He jumped. He used all the power in his legs and flew upward at an alarming rate. He smashed against the ceiling about half a second after he jumped. Which gave Taiyson an idea. He planted his feet on the ceiling, and shot himself towards the wall in front of Isaac, then shot toward a wall to Isaac's side and launched himself right at Isaac with his fist pulled back to punch. At the speed he was going, if it landed it was going to do serious damage. Time remaining: 00:48

Since Isaac had been aiming slightly higher with one sword than Taiyson could evade (as stated in the previous post), the edge of the sword nicked his ankle as Taiyson jumped into the air (the way I RP, if you don't react to something that is clearly stated in a post in your next post... Then it hits. If that's not the way it works here, I'll edit... But I did say that one sword was higher than the other in case of this exact response). As Taiyson flew through the air, Isaac watched with interest; he indeed had some experience with zero-gravity environments. Good, Isaac didn't like swinging at wriggling folks. By the time Taiyson got to the point where he was on the wall beside Isaac, Isaac already knew what he had planned and grinned. Leaning back, he straightened himself up... And whispered, "Checkmate," as he pulled both triggers. Gravity turned back on... But momentum continued, and Taiyson was flying through the air at an alarming rate, but now also decreasing in elevation. Isaac dropped to the floor to further avoid the launch, as the man still had enough momentum and height to reach the other side of the room; but as he passed over, Isaac prepared a jab to his stomach. Unfortunately for Taiyson, altering your course by simple movements didn't work well in regular gravity; there was nothing he could do to pull himself up, nothing to grab on to in order to halt or redirect his course... He was soaring through the air right towards a basically inevitable hit. It was so well-performed that one would be hard pressed to figure out if Isaac hadn't planned the entire fight from the beginning.

(Right, I keep forgetting you haven't been here long enough to see all of Taiy's fights. He's basically trained his legs so much that his leg strength is unsurpassed, and can run and jump with insane speed and power respectively. Him jumping in zero-gravity basically increased the jumping momentum even more, so he shot off like a rocket, much like his Flash Step would have done if he used it to move behind Isaac, only it was vertical, not horizontal. Also thought that the sword was only at his chest, so I thought jumping would've proved effective. Should've explained that better in the last post, sorry.)
As Taiyson saw Isaac drop to the floor and prepare a strike, his mind drew a blank as to what to do. He was too high off the ground to simply slam his feet down and stop himself from colliding with Isaac, and even if he tried to turn, the gravity was back to normal and he figured it wouldn't do him much good. He blinked as he remembered he could shoot flames from pretty much every part of his body. He'd have to remember to slap himself after the fight for forgetting that. He concentrated a mass of fire in his hands until they were dense enough to hold substance, then fired a continuous stream of them perpendicular to Isaac. He started to turn the opposite way, and managed to barely avoid Isaac and catch the wall as the timer hit 00:00 and the buzzer sounded. Taiyson let out a sigh. 5 minutes wasn't long enough to get some good sparring done. "Nice work, Isaac, you even managed to nick me." He said as he looked at the small hole in his pants and the small bit of blood seeping out of it. "You're in the advanced course. We'll work out a training regiment that suits you." The clock once again reset itself and Taiyson said "Who wants to go next?" He was getting slightly tired, but not everyone had gone yet, and he'd be damned if he didn't finish evaluations today.

Jaster only smirked but looked up at Taiyson and walked towards him. "I suppose I could, if no one else wants next." Jaster said and he waved his hand which healed Taiyson rather fast.

"Me." Said the young man who stepped from the crowd. His face was stoic and expressionless, while his eyes were cold. He looked over to Jaster as if he was little more than a bug.

Jaster looked back to Nier and looked at his eyes knowing what he was thinking. "you have a problem with me?" He asked calmly, although he was anxious to fight but he knew to wait.

Taiyson grinned as Jaster said he'd fight, but then he heard another of his students speak up. The way student looked at Jaster made his blood boil, but that wasn't all that got his blood going. He felt a power from the student, and that made him want to fight more than anything else. His eyes glowed a blood red the more he thought about the match. "Jaster, I hope you don't mind, but I really wanna fight this guy." He told Jaster. "Trust me, I'll teach this guy a thing or two, so sit tight for a bit. I have a feeling I'll be pressured into using my Weapon Master skill here." He stepped to his side of the ring and motioned for the student who expressed no emotions to step up. "Tell me your name and why you are here. You may also have the first move."

Jaster nodded "its ok, im still learning patience, we just know our fight will be good" he said with a determined smile and glance, he walked a bit from the sparring ring to watch the fight.

Nier stepped into the arena, completely ignoring Jaster's comment in the process. As he did, Kierie' looked on anxiously in the crowd. He stepped to the far opposite end of the arena and simply stood their, "I am Nier and I am here for no other reason than to become more powerful." Nier looked over at Taiyson's shirt and smiled, "I've made the first move, hope you know Curaga." To Taiyson nothing had happened, but the reality of it was thata move had been launched the second Nier stepped foot in the ring.

Taiyson blinked when Nier said that he had made the first move already. That kind of cocky attitude...He'd better have the gall to back it up. "To become more powerful, huh? Very well. Then you will have to beat me to even go one iota toward that goal. There are billions of people out there stronger than me, believe it or not, and if you won't be able to win a match against me, you won't be able to call yourself strong." He was trying to motivate Nier to surpass any limits that he had before, since Taiyson was expecting a challenge from him, and was wanting an enjoyable fight. The clock started counting down. "Salamander's Roar!" He shot a stream of flame from his mouth right at Nier. Time remaining: 04:57

"Wow. And I thought the first guy in the ring was a cocky douchebag," Isaac muttered aloud, smirking at the newest challenger as he exited the arena. "Good luck, guy. You're gonna need it against him," he said, chuckling. He shook his head as he moved back among the crowds, and then raised an eyebrow at the girl who'd been hanging around the guy, who'd just introduced himself as Nier. "What's that guy's problem? He's kinda making a lousy impression and coming off as a total a*****e," he said, frowning as he crossed his arms. "You his girlfriend or something? Think you could get him to be... You know, more of a decent human being, instead of some cocky douchebag with a lousy attitude?" He said, and then shook his head. "And no, I'm not afraid to say it to his face. As a matter of fact, I'm going to- right after he gets his a** royally handed to him on a silver platter in this match. So don't get me wrong, I'm not bad-mouthing him; I'm legitimately concerned here. Attitudes like his cause a lot of problems, especially with people like me. And if we have problems, that'll get in the way of me getting better. And nothing will stop me from getting better."
