"Shun, you can't protect me all the time as much as you wish you could." She couldn't really deny that she had been worried something might have happened, with her memory so fuzzy it sank into the pit of her stomach. What if she had tried something? But Bent's words had helped to ease that a little and another thought did as well. "...and I don't think you could take advantage of me....even if you tried."
She smiled a bit as she reached for his hand. "You're too good deep down, I don't think you have it in you to do that even if you were drunk. Though....I seem to recall a goofy smile on your face." She could vaguely remember the Karaoke place, they must have had something there, but the memory of Shun's grin made her smile a little more. At least they were safe this time around and there had been no risk of her being...well....raped. That had been a rather daunting realization the last time around.

Shun just had to question just how good he was deep down. Mitsu kept saying things like that but he really had to wonder. It was something he had never heard before he met her. Yes, he was kind to her and she was one of two people who he would literally throw his life away for if it meant saving or protecting her. Does his actions towards one person really constitute him as being good though? It wasn't really something he gave much of a ******** before but he really had to wonder this.
His gaze finally shifted as he felt her hand over his. Glancing at it for the moment, his eye trailed up to meet with hers.
"A smile does not always mean there is good," he said quietly. Suto was example enough of that, "How could you be so sure that I wouldn't end up doing something terrible to you like I have to many others when I'm not quite myself?"
Of course, if he did do something terrible to her, he would never forgive himself which was one big difference already. Depending on what it was, he wasn't even sure if he could live with his deed.

"I never said it did," Mitsu said softly her smile fading a little. "You don't smile very often anyway." Sure he smiled sometimes when she was around her but mostly he just frowned or looked angry or miserable.
"But I trust you. The fact that you are worried you might have done something means that you care." She gave his hand a light squeeze. "And in the unlikely event that something did happen, I will forgive you Shun." She emphasized the 'will' hoping he would understand that no matter what she would forgive him.
"Besides....I could have just as easily done something to you..." She wasn't innocent nor was she always safe to be around. On a few occasions she had lost control, being drunk would probably make that easier. No doubt she was a walking time bomb last night and had just managed not to be triggered. "I could have easily hurt someone last night, including you."

"Because you're pretty much the only one around who gives me any reason to smile," he uttered quietly. Shun glanced down again as she gave his hand a light squeeze. He didn't understand how she could be so forgiving and he wondered if she might just be.. a little too forgiving.
The assassin didn't expect her to throw out that she could have easily done something to him as well. While it wasn't quite along the same line of thought as what he was mostly worried about regarding the previous night, the fact was still there.
"I suppose.." he added quietly. In the case of her attacking him, he no doubt would forgive her as well, "But I wouldn't hold it against you."

"And I wouldn't hold anything against you. You are my family now, we've got to stick together."
Feeling a wave of sick wash over her Mitsu brought her free hand to her mouth. "S-sorry, not feeling too good yet." She wondered if it would be strange to just want to lay down for a couple more minutes instead of leaving. While it was probably a good idea to get back to the dorms she really wanted to rest a little more.

At those words, a faint glimmer of a smile appeared on Shun's features as he looked towards her. Family huh? Well he certainly cared a great deal more of her than his true family.
That faded as he saw her put her hand to her mouth and he turned his one hand a bit so he could grip hers.
"Go ahead and lay down for awhile..." he said softly, "I might need to rest a little more myself.."

That seemed to be all the encouragement Mitsu needed before she nodded ready to lay down. Before she did though, she leaned toward Shun, her arms wrapping around his shoulders to pull him close for a hug. She stayed that way for a while, her head resting against his shoulder. It was comforting in a way to know she wasn't going through this alone.
"Thanks for always being there, Shun." Mitsu said groggily.

Shun's eye closed for the moment as she embraced him, relaxing as she did so. It sparked something warm within him and it wasn't a bad feeling at all. There was a touch of sadness there, however. Smiling faintly once more, he nodded lightly.
"And thank you too.." he said while placing his arms around her to return the gesture.

Mitsu smiled a bit more when Shun returned the gesture before pulling away to move a little further up on the bed. Curling up into a ball Mitsu didn't even bother to grab a blanket or anything. This was comfortable enough.
((I was going to type something more but I have to run off to school. Time skip?))

For awhile, Shun watched her before had gone to lay by her as well. Sometime later, he reawoke, feeling considerably less sick. It wasn't quite all gone, but the additional rest did help quite a bit. Shifting a bit, he still didn't sit up just yet. There was something extremely comforting about having Mitsu by him here and he really didn't want to move.
At some point, Bent-Tail had come back inside. He had noticed there were no more murmurs from the other side of the door so he had gone to check in on them to find that they were resting. While they were out, he just took a seat at one of the chairs and waited patiently for them to to come back around.

When Mitsu had laid down it didn't take her long to fall to sleep all over again. She was rather still through her entire rest and continued to sleep even after Shun had started to stir. Apparently a hangover was something worth sleeping through.
There was suddenly a slight knock at the door though as time passed on, though whoever it was didn't wait long for an answer before they walked in. Looking like it was Sohki's mother Blair again.
"Oh, I wondered if you were still here. Sohki already left and he didn't seem to remember seeing you." Closing the door behind herself she made her way into the room her vision settled on the two teens resting in bed. "Did you go at it all night? I would have imagined you would be up by now. If so you probably need some fluids." She was speaking more to Shun as she walked over to the mini fridge in the room and pulled out a Power-aid setting it on the table for the boy to have.

Seeing how Mitsu still seemed to be asleep, Shun just stayed put, not wanting to wake her. He felt fairly at peace there and that was... nice. Though, when he heard a knock, he lifted his head to see a dragon woman come on in. Seeing how she mentioned Sohki it was probably his mother.
"Wait.. what?" he mumbled, confused by her questions though it soon clicked after a few seconds.
"We... didn't do that. At all," he said, being somewhat uncomfortable.

"What?" Blair seemed rather surprised. "You must have fallen to sleep, you were pretty tired when I brought you here."
Hearing the voices in the room Mitsu finally began to stir, her eyes slowly fluttering open for the second time. She felt a little better this time around and not nearly as confused. Sitting up a little she spotted the dragon on the other side of the room. She had seen her before she thought, though at the moment she couldn't pin point where.
"How are you feeling, Sweetie?" Blair asked. "You had quite the nose bleed last night."
"Nosebleed?" That would explain why her shirt had been bloody.
"Yeah, I thought you might have gotten a little too excited. You had walked in on Claudine and Chad, they can get pretty wild." Looking over to Bent who was sitting in the chair Blair noted the pink in his fur, a coy smile crossing her lips. "What about you stud, looks like you got some action last night?" Her tone was rather playful as she reached out to ruffle to fur on his head.

"Did it really seem like..."
The fact that Blair seemed a bit surprised with his answer did not make Shun feel too great. Had he been hitting on Mitsu a lot last night or something? That, he couldn't remember at all so it was possible. Maybe he did have those sorts of intentions, which made him feel a bit uneasy.
Glancing down at the girl as she woke up, he placed a hand on her arm, then looked back at the dragon.
"Eh? Ah... guess ye could say dat?" Bent-Tail replied a little sheepishly. Those cat girls were pretty wild for sure.

Mitsu wasn't quite sure what she had managed to see that would give her a nosebleed...and she was a little too afraid to ask. It was probably something she was better off forgetting.
"T-Thanks for letting us stay the night," Mitsu offered so not to be rude as she climbed out of bed.
"Oh, it's not a problem, Dear. Most of the people stay, in fact a lot of them live here," She chuckled. "There are a number of people that go in and out but you are more than welcome to stay. It's safer here then somewhere else." Which was mostly true. Ben had been the only one forced into having 'a good time'.
"There will be breakfast in a little bit, you're more than welcome to come have some." Blair offered but her brightly colored eyes couldn't help but settled on Shun. He looked upset about something. "What's on your mind, Hun? You look like something is bothering you."
