I just have lots and lots of gay friends that I met in college, and they're who I hang out with all the time... if not them then I'm usually hanging out with all my guy friends from high school. What he said. *Points at Forgotten, and runs when Kage isn't looking* The group of friends that I tend to spend most of my time with is a mixed group of sexual preferences and racial and historical origin. The core of the group is 40% straight and 30% Homosexual 20% Bisexual, and 10% me... Only 20% of the core has an alien (non-swedish) origin though. Apart from that there are several layers of friends that cling to persons from the core-group, and add their own special flavour to the gathering. And do note that I've never thought about my group of friends like this before... We've just hung out. razz

krome_angel Its not like they wear signs or anything so you can't exactly say "I meet this many" on any given day. Chances are that you pass many people and don't even know that they're gay or bi. yep and it's a lot easier to tell if people are gay rather than just bi. well to me it is.

honestly i dont meet as may a i would like to. (lives in a big city) im 19 and out of school and not old enough for the bars yet. so i find it complicated to find girl who are bi *sighs* such is life sad

you know? i've always believed we gay or bisex people have a different kind of aura than straight people have... so, here's a quick tip... it has worked for me so far because i don't go as often to gay bars as my friends do:
if u ever meet someone you like and you don't know anything about his/her preferences, welll just treat him as a friend, eventually you'll find out and who knows, he/she might be really open to different kinds of ideas.
don't act queer or tomb-boy because then the rates of meeting "options" will diminish wink
if none of the above works for you.... eek --> stick to your favourite gay bar hehe

My mom works in the fashion business. She knows tons of gay people and they come to dinner parties and cocktail parties here. I meet gay people regularly.

If you're in high school, it's a good idea to see if there's a Gay-Straight Alliance or similar club on campus that you can join. Even though it's likely that not everyone there is going to be non-heterosexual, there is a much higher chance of meeting others with non-het sexual orientations.
I don't exactly meet a lot of people every single day, but I do know a few non-heterosexuals. Current confirmed count includes two bisexuals (including myself) and two lesbians. There are others that I suspect may not be (completely?) straight, but it doesn't make that much of a difference, so I rarely ask.

I know one person that's transsexual (pre-op, as you may imagine from a high-schooler). Besides her, that's all the people I know in my area. Of course, I have a boyfriend, a bisexual friend, and a lot of supportive hetero friends on the internet. So, life's good on the net at least. 3nodding

Cha I never meet any... all my friends (except one)are stright and I am Bi...when I told them that I was Bi they flipped and were like "Oh my god are you serious!?" but we are really good friends
