(( profile)) Raziel had managed to find his footing and be stable when the fog lifted and the stranger began mumbling and moving again. Suddenly, it was making sounds that were quite painful and brought Raziel, and almost everyone else to their knees. In the chaos, and while everyone was distracted with pain, the stranger got away and took a student with him. While Raziel did not know the student, there wasn't much he could do, and in the place of the stranger were a few things. There was a map, and it had been decided that the places on the map needed to be explored. Out of the three places, the Abandoned Town looked the most promising to Raziel, so that's where he chose to go.

Gabrian's gaze hooded slightly as he watched LW. For a moment, he almost considered telling her a lie; that he'd seen Ren and Alessa, that they were fine and that he was sure they'd only just gotten lost in the chaos of the fight. However, he was unable to muster up the will to do so. After a beat or two, the demon let out a small sigh and his hand traveled from her shoulder to the top of her head, patting it several times as he spoke, "I'm sorry, Puppy... I've not seen either of them since we got split up. I've not seen the foxfire pup either, I'm afraid. I'm sure they're fine though, love. Ren wouldn't let any harm come to himself or Alessa. You know that," granted, part of it was a lie and he knew it. While it was true the gryphon would never allow Alessa or Jove to come to harm... his own wellbeing was another thing entirely, "As far as Carry goes... I guess that's just something we're going to have to find out," another pat of on her head followed after his words as he attempted to comfort the she wolf.
"You're just going to have to make do with just me for now," his hand retreated from her head and then lowered down to the map they were looking at, "Well, given the fact there's no preference as to where we should head towards..." his gaze shifting towards Tsetsiliya, whom he was quite certain wouldn't have stated her preference even if she'd had one before continuing, "I suggest we head towards The Cornfields," his finger tapped the map several times and then lifted off the paper, "Food might be more accessible there and shelter... for now, well, it doesn't seem to be too much of a problem," he raised his head and his eyes scanned the dispersing crowd as they all took several routes, "Besides. While it's probably wise to move in groups... it's probably not a good idea to move in groups that are too large," in his opinion, there were more than enough students heading towards the other two directions, and staying here like sitting ducks seemed out of the question, "Let's hope Ren and Alessa head East too. Last I checked, neither of them had anything to eats and being.... limited concerning what they can and can not ingest, something tells me they'll head that way."
Tearing his gaze away from the crowd, Gabrian focused it back on both ghouls before him, frowning slightly at the fact that... they all actually looked quite miserable, wet and upset over the whole ordeal. He couldn't help but offer Tse a small smile, "I guess the better question is... what are you feeling like?" the smile vanished though and he offered both ghouls a hand each, "Last time I let go of someone, I got lost in the fog. Better not take out chances," he motioned towards the path he figured lead off towards the corn fields and tried to smile. Unfortunately, it wasn't very convincing, "Shall we?"

"Liya is good," Tsetsiliya replied to LW with a smile, her cheeks tinged pink at the newest nickname. Her name was so complicated and she certainly didn't want her new friend to struggle over it; besides, the fact that she had gathered so many nicknames made her feel as though she were fond of. Her grandmother had given her her first nickname, after all.
On that token, she did not want LW to feel so distressed. The poor ghoul looked worried sick over her friends. She frowned in concern, worried for her friends as well, but right now Carthusia was who was first and foremost in her mind. They had to find the poor demoness, they simply had to! Gabrian was working on trying to calm his ghoulfriend down, and Tsetsiliya let her eyes move over the crowd worriedly. Soon the suggestion was put forward to head towards the Cornfields first. Tsetsiliya felt herself perk up at the suggestion. She was a poludnica, after all - crop fields were where they flourished. It was better if they were sunlit fields, but beggars couldn't be choosers.
"I-I am thinking that is good," the poludnica said, nodding in agreement to Gabrian. Perhaps some food might make the lot of them feel better. When the nix extended his hand, she hesitated for a moment. Was this truly okay? Gabrian's explanation assured her if but a little bit, and she placed her small gloved hand into his larger one, holding firmly but not too much so to his fingers. The ghoul leaned over to give LW her best go at an encouraging smile.
"Perhaps they are being there, waiting for us. We can only be hoping." Her piece said, she kept up with Gabrian as he headed towards the Cornfields, her mace dragging the ground behind her.

Lost and stumbling in the mist, Israfel was blind to just what was going on. Or he was, until the ...thing..person (?) stopping attacking and spoke. (Had it been attacking? Or was it just them? Jack he was so confused.) Falling back into the ground as the figure vanished, he shuddered. He didn't like this place. At least in the cold Christmas Town he'd just gotten cold a a bit damp. So far, Israfel was cold, soaked, dirty, and hurt. But okay, he'd admit, he didn't hurt for very long. Looking for anyone he knew, The siren took a moment to brush off his clothes best her could. Going right seemed like a good idea. The Cornfields was his best bet then, given the map. After all, in mazes you stuck to the right to not get lost. Which he was. Like he normally got. It seemed like a good idea. So had school at one point. (Profile: VampsHeading out)

LW found that hearing the acceptance of the nickname she had deemed the demon ghoul, she was able to really smile even if she was still troubled with worry about her friends. "Then Liya it is!" The she-wolf hoped that the ghoul knew she liked her full name, but didn't want to embarrass either of them if she slipped up in pronouncing it.
A heavy, almost defeated sigh escaped her when Gabe said he had not seen the others. The head patting did help and made her lips quirk up in a small grin. "I know." She also knew that while he was trying to make her feel better, she knew the gryphon well. He'd definitely make sure nothing happened to Jove and Alessa. But to himself? LW tried not to focus on that. Nor did she focus on the bad thoughts of what could be happening to Carry.
"You make it sound like that is a bad thing." The she-wolf said, glancing up towards the nix. "Having you will be very nice." Her gaze lowered back to the map and eyed it. LW really didn't know which was better or which way they should go. But Gabe's reasoning sounded good enough to her. All the she-wolf cared about was the fact she wouldn't be alone. And neither would Liya. "I...don't see a problem with this. It does make sense. Sort of." Her tail flicked from side to side and she felt her heart squeeze at mention of Alessa and Ren again. Please let them be alright. Let them find us again.
LW glanced at the hand offered her way and slid hers easily into his hand. She glanced over and gave Liya a sweet smile. Which turned to a dirty look directed at the nix. "Yes. Let us not repeat that please." The she-wolf squeezed his hand for emphasis. Taking a deep breath, she nodded and headed towards the Cornfields.

The sky was clear, the air was clear, and the Marrowstripe had a good view of all of those that surrounded her. Whomever they'd been fighting was long gone, even the one who dared strike at her, and Savior rubbed at the spot as the pain seemed to ebb and slowly vanish. It was only then when she'd seen the fog clear that she got sight of a familiar (and probably the only thing she knew) red-head.
It didn't take long for Savior to be over at West's side and on his back, her hands in his head and her eyes glancing around. Wherever West was going it was now pretty obvious that Savior was going to go to, even if she didn't understand the situation at all. At least the team now had some firepower?

As soon as Astra had finished her sword swinging, her ears were assaulted again by the screaming and crying, followed by someone shouting 'TRAITOR!", before silence. It seemed the 'attacker' had left, and now the fog began to clear up allowing her to see everyone, as well as a few peices of partchment including a map. With a quick glance at it, she believed her best course of action was to go towards the lighthouse. Hopefully it would keep her from getting lost since the light would be a beacon whenever the fog would pop up...at least she hoped it would. She had no idea if it worked or not... (( profile!

Jack damn it. Why, why, did she always get lost on these stupid trips? Alessa groaned as she ran her fingers through her hair in frustration. As the fog began to clear, with the disappearance of her sudden opponent, she began to see pieces of the landscape, as well as a few students dispersing. She took a few confused steps, trying to get her bearings, and when she stopped she noticed something under her boot rustling a bit in the breeze. She picked it up and realized it was a bit of a map. Hmmm. She wished she knew where the others would go. Feeling the gnawing at her stomach, though, the corn field was nearly irresistible.
So, despite the guilt at her rather selfishly driven decision, she headed in that direction. As she began to leave she thought she spotted some familiar faces up ahead. Gabe, LW? Maybe this hadn't been such a bad idea after all! She jogged to catch up with them, though they had a bit of a head start so it might take a while...but at least, it seemed, she wasn't quite as alone as she thought.

((ooc: Profile Going to Lighthouse))
Petro released an aggravated snort at the clearing fog. Oh sure, he gains visibility now. Why did it have to be so Jack damned hard to see during the actual fight? His ears picked up the sound, instinctively he tried to scan for the source, turning his head this way and that. Except it seemed like it was coming from inside his own head as the noise became louder, unbearably so. The tikbalang was on his knees, hands pressed against his ears, though one hand with difficulty given how it was still holding his mace.
And just as quickly as it came, it stopped. Despite the ringing in his ears, he heard the figure speak. Traitor? Who? And again, the sharp, painful wail tore through while brown eyes widened in horror, watching a winged ghoul get taken.
Slowly, he got to his feet, approaching Lizzy and Mac. "Wherever y're gonna go, 'm gonna go too," he declared, practically inviting himself.

(( Mini Profile)) So the fight was finally over...or at east he wished it was. Sepheran could only watch in horror as the attacker talked of traitors and grabbed a ghoul student from among them. What the heck had he meant? Things didn't add up, stupid field trips always brought them into danger, and of course the teachers were no where in sight. Don't they scout these things out in the first place? The basilisk hissed lightly having been slightly lost from his group during the fight. Tilting his head he listened hard catching Petro's voice in the distance. If he had to be lost he'd at least do so with people he knew right? Quickly Sepheran began to make his way towards the familiar faces, towards the lighthouse.

(( Mini Profile )) Charlie had missed what had happened with the figure they had attacked due to the pretty stars he was seeing. When he woke the figure was gone as were some of the students who had been there prior. With a big stretch Charlie got up and headed toward a random direction. What Charlie didn't know was he was headed toward the light house.

Ren was tired. Very, very, tired. And he was, in fact, quite hungry too, and a little sore - and had he mentioned how tired he was? Not only that, but he had long since lost track of where he had been, what he had been doing, or who he was with. One moment he had been with Gabrian, Alessa, LW, and Jove, the next he had gotten lost in the fog to fight some...
...well, something. Ren was not entirely sure who it was. Or was it what it was? He reached up, rubbing his fingers tiredly against his temples. This whole field trip was giving him a headache, not to mention some very, very bad memories.
And probably some mental scarring as well.
With a frustrated sigh, Ren turned left. Then right. Then finally, hearing a familiar puppy whine, stepped off into the fog to find the others.

Alcyone was SO tired of this fog, it was getting a little ridiculous. There was something going on nearby and she had no idea exactly what was going on. She needed to find Sin right away and Alcie had guessed that she would be with that boil, Rosc. That would make it easier to find them.... Hopefully Vivi was alright too and with them. Wherever she was going that's where Alcie was going too. It seemed like getting separated this time would be infinitely times worse than the Christmas Town raid.
There were students running around and they all seemed panicked but Alcie had no idea who or where their opponent was. Without her eyesight, she was completely useless and she hated feeling this vulnerable.
Cursing under her breath, Alcie continued trekking and she began to feel some sand underneath her feet. So she was back at the beach? Great. This was so unpleasant... Maybe if she could just find Sin...(( profile and Alcie is going to the Abandoned town after doing a PRP))

((Just to conclude my time here/officially pick a direction.))
Draven had watched as the others made their decisions, all the while tossing his options around in his head. The Abandoned town held little interest to him. The Cornfields and the Lighthouse, however, seemed tempting. Too bad they were so far apart.
He liked Cornfields, but he'd seen cornfields before. They were all pretty much the same. Always. The Lighthouse would be something new and had great potential. He held a slight grin on his face as he readjusted his pack and looked down the path towards the lighthouse. His step was determined as he took off down the path, and into the fog.
